I know that they pay attention to the foros, especially the Univision/Telefutura foros but I really don't think they care what the viewers want. :( I think it's stupid to not show all these older novelas...I would think since Univision shows Televisa novelas that they could have access to any Televisa novela they want. Maybe not though, maybe there are time periods that they can and can't show them. I'm sick of them showing all these novelas that have been on recently, if I can remember every detail of the show, I think they shouldn't show it now, LOL
The best thing to do would be to write on the foros (I have seen a lot of requests for Quinceanera) for Telefutura and Univision and see if you can get a phone number or address and write to Univision. Just keep saying it over and over and over again.
I don't know how much public opinion had to do with it, but after Aventuras en el Tiempo aired on Univision they were advertising Vivan Los Ninos. There were some of us that really complained that they hadn't shown Complices al rescate and at the last minute Univision decided to show Complices. Whether foristas and other viewers made any impression on Uni I have no idea, but I do know that speaking out about what you want will at least get you heard :)
I don't go on the Univision foros but I think I might just to protest this basura that they're giving us instead of good oldies.
Oh, and BTW, I am also a HUGE Ernesto LaGuardia fan!!! I love him!!!!!
