But Pablo getting sick forced the compassionate Julia to stay and nurse him back to health - and of course, this led to Pablo and Julia finally seal their love to the point of no return, no returning to Gina or Juan de Dios.
About Rufino's choice of what to ruin: he wouldn't care about the machines, since this represents the men he lorded it over all these years. But the offices are another matter: they represent the real seat of power in this small town - the Monteros Amador, Pablo and Josefina. Hard to belief that the dense Socoro had Rufino pegged beautifully: he always coveted what Amador had, including all his women. Yet, Amador never really trusted Rufino, even though he had him purchase the plane tickets for him and Dinora. Now Pablo runs the business and always wanted his mother to fire Rufino. Then there's Josefina: until recently she always protected Rufino because he knew all her dirty secrets, since he carried out her nefarious orders against anyone she hated. But unlike Amador, she always lorded it over Rufino, never tiring to remind him that he was just the hired help. No wonder Rufino decided to burn the office of Amador which now belongs to Josefina and Pablo.
The only thing that will change Josefina will be the truth about Margarita and Dinora.
Yep, it was great hearing Pablo hear the heart to heart between the brother and sister from hell. What did the decent and upright Rafael ever do to deserve having Gina and Guillermo as children? Maybe his business is with the mob, who knows?
Somehow I can picture Dinora and Rufino killing each other, and I wouldn't mind, just as long as it happens after the truth about Dinora and Amador and Rufino and Amador is revealed.
