yes it was a great ending. It was just as affecting the second time.
When watching MEPS, I thought the final confrontation between "Lucia", "Paulina" and "Eusebio" wasn't as powerful as the PS version. It could have been that I misremembered that encounter. Seeing it a second time, that scene really is so much better in PS than MEPS. It seems to be the first time in the whole novela where Lucia acts with determination.
There were a number of ambiguities, is Camilo in jail? Where are Federico and Susana? (they did address Anibal in MEPS) Are they divorced? In my opinion, Camilo is still in jail.
They seem to have kept the original US ending rather than the reedited Colombian ending. Since Paulina was the first character we saw in the first episode, it is fitting that she was the last charcter at the "fin."
