WEEK 1 - 1/27-31/03
Monday 1/27-
On the first day of school, you meet the chavas of Clase 406. Outside the prepa
Fercho, Hugo and Carlos are break dancing. When they spot Gaby they immediately
harass her. Magdalena walks up and threatens Gaby. Francisco comes to her
rescue and pushes Carlos down. Hugo draws a knife on him and lets him know he will
get him back. Francisco Question Magdalena about the boys and she denies
everything. Adriana tells Francisco that The boys (Hugo, Fercho and Carlos) are
dangerous and no to mess with them. Inside the classroom Kike and Marcela are
blowing kisses at one another through the glass. Gaby is talking to the girls
about how Francisco came to her rescue. Magdalena enters the room and begins to
pick a fight with Gaby. Francisco enters and breaks it up and tells Magdalena
to knock it off. After Class Magdalena pulls Gaby into the girls bathroom where
they fight some more. Gaby gets free and runs out. She yells at Magdalena that
it’s over and Adriana and Francisco overhear her. The y enter the bathroom and
tell Magdalena if she doesn’t stop she will be suspended. She walks off not
before spitting on Francisco’s shoe. Kike explains to Marcela that he wants to
sleep with her but Marcela says she’s scared. Adriana catches Kike vandalizing
a wall in the girls bathroom and makes him clean it up. When he calls her
“gorronea” behind her back, she replies that it’s “gonorrhea” and make him do a
in depth presentation in front of the class. Cindy, the school dj overhears
their conversation and tells the whole school that Kike has gonorrhea. Marcela
tells Gaby that she is afraid that Kike may rally have gonorrhea. Adriana talks
with Blanca bout he problems she is having with her ex. Francisco receives a
threatening note, and he takes it to Adriana to show her. Adriana tells him
that the boys are very dangerous but Francisco tells her he is not afraid of
them. Blanca interrupts them and tells Adriana that her ride is there. She
leaves the school with her ex and son, as Francisco watches. When they are
alone inside a limo Marcela tells kike that she will not sleep with him until
he gets checked out. Magdalena, Fercho, Carlos and Hugo think of ways to get
back at Gaby and Francisco. He goes to the doctor and gets examined. Francisco
goes and hangs out with the PE teacher Dago. That night Fercho, Hugo and Carlos
aggravate Gaby on her way home. The next day, on the bus Gaby talks with
Francisco, saying that if he leaves she won’t have anyone to help her against
the chavos. Francisco assures her that he is going no where. In the school,
Francisco ignores Adriana. Kike pleads with Adriana to not make him do the
presentation but she tells him that he will do it. Francisco asks Adriana out
to the movies. She declines. Francisco is talking with Dago. When Dago departs
he is being followed by Hugo, Fercho, Carlos and a few other boys. They beat Francisco
up and tell him to stay away from Magdalena. Francisco is in the nurses office
and Adriana goes to see if he is ok. She tells him that she would like to go to
the movies with him but he declines. in class Kike does the presentation. He
shows results stating that he is clean. He receives a standing ovation. Kike
and Marce are on the patio later and Marcela gives him a condom. Francisco is
packing his stuff to leave because the director doesn’t do anything about the
hostility between Gaby and Magdalena. Adriana leaves the prepa with her ex and
Francisco watches from a distance.
Tuesday1/28-
Francisco files a police report against Hugo, Fercho and Carlos. When Adriana
finds out about it she is not pleased. Hugo, Fercho, and Carlos are arrested
while hanging out in streets. Adriana goes to see them and Fercho pleads with
her free him, he will do anything she wants he tells her. She talks with the
police commander saying that she will make sure the kids are back in school and
that she will take full responsibility for their actions. He replies that
Francisco first has to drop the charges against them before they can go free.
Back at the school, the director Ezequiel tells that students due to the
violence that has been directed at Francisco and Gabriela they all will receive
bad reports in Math. After the announcement Francisco tries to talk with the
chavos and tell them he will fix everything but they don’t listen to him
anymore because they don’t trust him. At the pool hall, Francisco and Dago are
playing a game of pool when the chavos arrive. Kike challenges Francisco to a
pool game. If Kike wins then Francisco will retire from the prepa. If Francisco
wins then the students don’t have to do any work in class the next day. They
start to play and Francisco lets Kike think he is winning at first but then
comes from behind and beats him. The next day in class that students show up in
street clothing. In math class, the kids don’t want to work but Francisco gives
them one problem to work on and then they are free to go. Everyone begins to
work on it. At the prepa that day, there is a celebration for the teachers.
They have games and all kinds of fun things to do. Gaby and Marcela drink a
whole plastic water bottle filled with tequila before attending the celebration.
Drunken Gaby tries to get Francisco to dance with her. Dago is watching her
from the sidelines. Later Kike runs into drunken Gaby and Marcela and takes
Marcela away so she will not get into trouble. Dago finds a disoriented Gaby
and takes her into the Gym. He lays her on a mat and takes advantage of her.
Wednesday 1/29-
Gaby clearly upset and half dressed walks out of the Gym crying. Francisco,
Magdalena, Kike, and Marcela find her walking through the school grounds very
upset. Francisco picks her up and asks for help taking her home. Days later
Gaby finds out that she had missed her period and decides to go get a pregnancy
test done. Fercho, Hugo and Carlos go back to school. Francisco borrows some
books from Adriana. He notices that one is signed by the author and is very
special to Adriana. Francisco hands back examinations and Fercho is worried
because if he doesn’t do well then he can’t play soccer. Francisco asks about
Gaby to Marcela and she replies that Gaby isn't feeling well. Francisco has
lost Adriana’s book. Gaby is at home and is talking to her mom about what it’s
like being pregnant. Marcela goes to see Gaby. Gaby tells Marcela that she’s
gonna have an abortion because her mom will kick her out if she finds out she’s
pregnant. Marcela asks her who the father is and Gaby doesn’t tell her its
Dago. Marcela explains to Gaby that it’s very dangerous to have an abortion.
Marcela tells Adriana that Gaby is pregnant and is thinking about having an
abortion. Fercho tells Hugo that if he doesn’t pass the next exam then he can’t
play soccer. Marcela asks Gaby why she hasn’t seen her lately and Gaby tells
her that she hasn’t been feeling well. Francisco is looking around for the book
that he borrowed from Adriana. Dago spies him and asks Francisco what he is
doing. Francisco tells him that he is looking for a book that he borrowed form
Adriana and he doesn’t remember where he put it. Adriana is talking with
Francisco and asks how Fercho did on his exam. Francisco tells her that he did
poorly. She mentions to him that one of the students is pregnant and Francisco
is stunned. He asks who it is and she replies that she cannot believe or
imagine who it is. Marcela accompanies Gaby to the Abortion clinic. They
overhear a doctor talking about he condition of another patient and Gaby
quickly changes her mind about having an abortion. Fercho is upset that he was
not accepted on the soccer team because of his low exam score. Francisco goes
to see Fercho and decided to give him another chance to take the test. Dago
shows Francisco in the newspaper that the author of the book he lost is doing a
signing and he decides to go. Adriana and Gonzalo fight over her treatment of
Alex. Alex wanted to go to a movie and Adriana tells him that he can’t. Alex
tells her that she is ruining everything in his life. The next day Gaby is
talking with Adriana and finds out that Marcela told Adriana about her
pregnancy and calls Marcela a bad friend for revealing her secret.
Thursday 1/30-
Adriana and Gaby are talking and she wants Gaby to make the right decision.
After their conversation they hug. At Fercho’s house he is in the bath tub when
Magdalena and Hugo tell him to get out and come outside, they have a surprise
for him. Fercho tells Magdalena no to look so he can get out of the tub. He
follows Hugo outside, and Magdalena notices a textbook on the other side of the
tub. Outside Hugo, Carlos and the other boys tell Fercho that they are
celebrating his birthday early and give him a present, soccer cleats. He is
thankful and they tell him to come with them to celebrate more. As everyone is
leaving, Magdalena grabs Fercho and tells him that he really needs to study for
that exam. Fercho tells her that they (the chavos) are his only family and
leaves to go hang out with them. That night, Francisco getting very wet, stands
in the long line at the bookstore to get another copy of Adriana’s book that he
lost. At Gaby’s house her mom asks her why she is sad and Gaby changes the
subject asking her mom what is was like being pregnant with her. Gaby’s mom
tells her a sad story about how her father was no good and abandoned her. She
then tells Gaby that if she ever got pregnant then she would kick her out of
the house. Francisco is at the front of the line and asks about the book. The
clerk tells him that they are out of that specific book and suggest a different
book. Magdalena returns to Fercho’s house with him on her back. She puts him
down and begins making him coffee. She tells him that he needs to stay up and
study for the exam. Fercho, begins to pass out and Magdalena wakes him and
makes him study. The next day, in math all of the other kids are finished with
the exam and Fercho and Francisco are the only ones left. Magdalena and Kike
spy on Fercho through the window. Alex comments to Gonzalo that he wants to
live with him and Gonzalo tells him that he mother would never accept that.
Fercho passes his exam and can play on the team. Gaby is in her room and is
packing stuff into a backpack. She writes a note to her mom and leaves it on a piece
of paper. She goes outside to where Marcela is waiting and asks if she can stay
at her house for a while. At school, Adriana find s her book in Blanca desk and
decided to play a trick on Francisco. At Adriana’s house, Alex tells his mom
that he wants to live with his dad. At school Adriana explains to Francisco
that she is having problems dealing with her son and now he is asking to live
with his father. Francisco give sher advise about not being so hard on her son,
she thanks him and they kiss. Gaby is crying about leaving home because she
knows that she has disappointed her mother. She goes to class. Gaby’s mom shows
up at the prepa to talk with Adriana. She is upset because Gaby left her house
last night with all of her things. Adriana asks Gaby’s mom if she kicked her
out because she was pregnant. Gaby mom didn’t know that Gaby was pregnant and
is furious about hearing it. She leaves Adriana’s office and searches for Gaby.
She finds Gaby in math class, she tells her to get her stuff because she is leaving
the school and never coming back. Francisco is surprised to learn that Gaby is
the girl who is pregnant. They try to come up with a way to get her back in
school. Magdalena and Kike are talking and they cannot believe that Gaby is the
one who is pregnant. That Gaby’s house, Gaby’s mom tell her that she will never
go back to the school, that she will stay in her room forever. Magdalena and
Kike think that Francisco was the one that got Gaby pregnant. Adriana and
Francisco go to Gaby’s house and persuade her mom to let her back in school.
Magdalena tells her mom, Marlen that there is a pregnant girl going to her
school. Marlen decides to call the parents to have a meeting to have the girl
kicked out of the prepa. Adriana goes by Gonzalo’s apartment to check on Alex
who is home sick from school. She is upset because there is no running water or
decent food. Gonzalo comes home and Adriana tells him that Alex is living in
bad conditions. Later, as Adriana is leaving Gonzalo mentions that Alex saw her
kissing Francisco. After Francisco and Adriana leave Gaby’s mom tells her that
she can go back to school and accepts that Gaby is pregnant. Adriana and
Francisco are having dinner together. They talk about the situation with Gaby
for a while when Francisco gives her a sweet little kiss. They then talk about
Adriana’s son and his father. Francisco is a little sad about the situation. At
they leaves the table they kiss.
Friday- 1/31
Magdalena tells Marlen that her and Kike saw Francisco and Gaby hugging outside
of Gaby’s house. She also tells her that she believes that Francisco is the
father of Gaby’s baby. When Gaby shows up at school the next day Francisco
greets her with a big hug and is happy that she is back at school. Blanca spies
them together and later is overheard by Dago on the phone gossip about Gaby
being pregnant by one of the teachers. Dago finds Gaby and threatens her into
not revealing that he is responsible for her pregnancy. The rumor start that
Francisco is the father of Gaby’s baby. In math class, while Francisco isn’t
looking Carlos puts a diaper over Gaby’s face and Magdalena imitates a pregnant
person walking. Francisco tells them to knock it off. The next day Gaby attends
a meeting with parents, teachers and Don Eze. The parents want to kick Gaby out
of the school. Adriana defends Gaby saying the kicking her out is wrong because
they are denying her a right to learn even though she is pregnant. Some
disagree to her staying because Gaby staying means they support teenage girls
getting pregnant. They ask Gaby who the father is and she blurts out Francisco.
Adriana hears this and changes her whole attitude towards Francisco because she
believes that it’s true. Francisco tries to talk with Adriana as she is leaving
and she ignores him. Don Eze wants to kick Francisco out of the prepa.
Francisco goes to speak with Adriana. He notices that Gonzalo answers the door
and Francisco is a little upset that he is there. Adriana appears and asks
Gonzalo to leave them alone. They talk and try to clear things up when Gonzalo
appears again, this time with out a shirt. Francisco quickly leaves. Adriana is
upset that Gonzalo would pull a stunt like that. At school after class Marcela
and Gaby stay behind. Francisco tries to get Gaby to change her story but when
Adriana asks her again she replies that Francisco is the Father. Adriana is
hurt and Francisco is really upset.
WEEK 2 – 2/3-7/03:
Monday 2/3-
Francisco is frustrated because nobody believes that he isn’t the father of Gabriela’s baby. Marcela is alone practicing Basketball when Dago offers to help her. Gaby is talking with Adriana bout her pregnancy. Gaby begins to recall having Dago take her into the gym and sexually abuse her. When Adriana asks about spending the rest of her life with the father of the baby she recalls talking with Dago and blurts out no. Adriana is taken aback because she still thinks that Francisco is the father. Gaby tells her that she would marry him if they were in love. Then Gaby quickly leaves asking her to not talk about it again. Marcela feels threatened when Dago begins to put his hands on her. She tells him to leave and he replies that he was only trying to help her. Later Marcela tells Gaby what happened with her and Dago, which infuriates Gaby. Marcela questions Gaby’s rage against Dago and Gaby doesn’t reply. The next day Adriana is talking with another teacher about the conversation that her and Gaby had the day before. She notes that Gaby seemed to contradict herself. Francisco was going to go to the library and pick up a couple of books and asks Blanca to watch his stuff. At the library Dago and Gaby are having a conversation alone. Gaby tells Dago to leave Marce alone and that she isn’t going to tell anyone what happened between them (Marce & Dago). Francisco leaves and goes to find Marce. Marce is with Kike and Francisco asks to speak with her alone. Kike tells him that Marce has nothing to say to him. When Francisco mentions Dago’s name, Marce gets scared and leaves to talk with Francisco. He tells her that he overheard Dago and Gaby talking in the library and that they mentioned her name. She tells him that Dago was touching her today and she felt threatened by it. Francisco asks her if she suspects that Dago got Gaby pregnant and Marce doesn’t know. They come up with a plan to trap Dago by catching him trying to mess with Marce. Marce find Dago and tells him that she wants more help from him and that they can meet at the park at 4. Dago agrees. Marce then finds Francisco and tellk him that she is meeting Dago at the park at four. Dago runs into Francisco later on and asks why he hasn’t left the prepa yet. Francisco tells him because he can prove that he is not the father of Gaby’s baby.
Francisco finds Adriana and tells he to follow him, that he has something important to show her. Marce is waiting at the park and Dago shows up on his motorcycle. He tells her that he wants to take her for a ride. Marce reluctantly agrees. Francisco and Adriana show up after Dago and Marce leave. Adriana asks him what is going on and he tells her about his theory that he impregnated Gaby and that Marce and him had a plan to catch Dago. Adriana is very worried for Marce if Dago is really that dangerous and they go looking for her. Dago takes Marce to a hotel and plans on sleeping with her. Francisco and Adriana show up at Gaby’s house looking for Marce. Gaby’s mom will not let Francisco in because she believes that he is the father of Gaby’s baby. After much persuading she reluctantly lets him in. When Dago goes to the bathroom, Marce calls Gaby’s house. Gaby picks up and Marce tells her that Dago took her to a hotel and to get help. Gaby tells Adriana and Francisco where Marce is and the go to help her. When Dago hears a knock on the door he covers Marce’s mouth and tells her to say nothing. He asks who it is and Gaby replies. She tells him that she knows Marce is with him and not to get her pregnant like he did to her. Dago opens the door and grabs Gaby to pull her inside, when Francisco and Adriana get past him and tells him to let the girls go. The next day, Francisco talks to Don Ezequiel about Dago’s questionable behavior. He tells him about Dago taking Marce to a hotel. Don Eze requests to speak with both Francisco, Dago and Marce. In class, Adriana is teaching them about caring for a baby. Gaby sits outside the circle upset. Cindy (the dj) is on the bus to school and gets her wallet stolen. Blanca enters the classroom and tells Adriana that Don Eze requests to see Marce. They go down to Done Eze’s office and Blanca asks her what happened between her and Dago. Marce doesn’t reply. Done Eze asks Marce what happened between her and Dago and Marce tells him everything. Dago is outraged and calls Marce a tramp and says that she came on to him at the request of Francisco. Marce leaves upset. After class, Gaby tells Adriana that she knows why she had a class that talked about caring for children. Adriana tells her she doesn’t know what she is talking about and Gaby replies that she isn’t stupid and to stay out of her life. Adriana begs Gaby to help Francisco and tell everyone that Dago is the father of her baby. Marce and Gaby are talking, they walk behind some bushes and decide to smoke a cigarette. Kike goes to Don Eze office looking for Marce. Blanca tell him about Dago and Marce. During P.E. class, Kike, Hugo and Carlos are sitting in the bleachers and Kike tells them what Blanca told him about Dago. When Dago approaches the boys, he confronts Dago about the accusations.
Tuesday 2/4-
Dago challenges kike to a game of basketball and Kike looses. Dago walks by Kike who is on the ground and tells him that maybe he should stop picking fights and keep an eye on his girlfriend. Adriana finds Gaby and Marce smoking. She tells Gaby that smoking is not good for her condition and Gaby tells her to butt out of her life. Blanca finds out information on Dago with Adriana. They realize that Dago has abused 3 other girls. Cindy goes to get food and realizes that her wallet was stolen. She goes to see Adriana and asks if she will loan her money. Adriana agrees as long as Cindy will commit to talking to Gaby about being a mother. Kike is talking with Fercho and Magdalena about Marce and Dago. Marce Walks up and tries to hug him. He pushes her away and tells her that everyone knows that she is a tramp who was with Dago. Fercho and Magdalena make comments to Gaby that Dago could have gotten her pregnant. Marce tries to explain but Kike leaves and tells Marce to leave him alone. Magdalena and Fercho (lol) comfort Kike. Cindy dedicates a song to Gaby on the radio. Gaby bothered by Cindy’s gesture goes to speak with her. When she arrives, Cindy leaves her son with Gaby until she gets out of class. Kike searches out Dago and is ready to fight him. Francisco walks up and intervenes. Francisco confronts Dago about his behavior with the female students, and tells him to have more respect for his teaching job. Adriana persuades Francisco to talk with Gaby about telling the truth. In class, Francisco asks where Gaby and Kike are but nobody knows. Francisco gets Gaby to decide to tell the truth. Kike searches out Dago in the bathroom and beats him up. Adriana tries to reason with Don Eze but he is afraid of a scandal. Dago enters Don Eze’s office with bruises, and tells the director that Kike did it. Gaby is having a hard time dealing with the baby and begins to cry. In Don Eze’s office Gaby tells the director about the day that Dago took advantage of her. Dago tells Don Eze that Gaby was also drunk at the time. When he asks her if it’s true she replies yes. Don Eze has had enough and sends everyone away. Later Francisco asks Gaby why she said he was the father. Gaby replies because she is in love with him and figured he would be a great dad. Adriana and Francisco are both confused as to why Don Eze won’t do anything. They kiss. Hugo is working and is tired. His boss sees him and tells him that he won’t pay him for resting. At home Hugo find out that the electric bill needs to be paid, and his father makes a big deal about Hugo coming up with the money to pay it. Magdalena is having dinner with her mother Marlen and he mom’s boyfriend Dionoso. He gets mad at Marlen for talking over the television. When Magdalena makes a comment he snaps and begins to dunk her mothers head in the kitchen sink. Magdalena becomes scared and runs to her room and listens to her walkman to drown out the sounds. The next day, tension is still present with the situation with Dago. In a staff meeting Adriana and Dago have a argument. Don Eze changes the subject quickly. Francisco asks out Adriana on her birthday and she accepts. In Math Class, Francisco makes Marcela and Kike work together as well as Gaby and Magdalena. They argue their partners but Francisco says he’s not changing them. Kike apologizes to Marcela and she tells him that she won’t ever forget what he said to her. Gaby tries to talk with Magdalena but she refuses to talk with Gaby and walks off.
Wednesday 2/5-
Gonzalo goes to see Adriana and Blanca tells him that she is busy with a student. Adriana is talking to Hugo in her office about his attendance. He tells her that he has to work to pay the bills and to leave him alone. She asks him where he works and offers to get him a jog at a floral shop. He declines. Blanca interrupts them and Hugo leaves. Blanca tells Adriana that her ex is here to see her. Adriana tells her to let him know that she is really busy. Don Eze talks with Gonzalo about her relationship with Francisco. He asks him to help break them up and he accepts. Gonzalo asks Adriana out to dinner for her birthday and she declines because she has other plans. Magdalena goes to the pool hall and finds Kike, Fercho, Hugo and Carlos there. Fercho notices that she has been crying and asks what’s wrong. She doesn’t reply. Kike asks to speak with her alone and he wants to know what is going on. She gives him an attitude and walks off. She turns around, thanks him and gives him a kiss on the cheek. He runs after her and tries to get her to open up about what’s bothering her. He mentions that she should end things with Gaby and all the fighting between them and slaps him. He tells her that he hates to see her hurting and attempts to kiss her. She pushes him away and leaves the pool hall. Hugo is woken up by his father and is told that he needs to be out getting money instead of going to school. Hugo’s mom is worried about Hugo. At school, Francisco is in class and asks Gaby and Magdalena to turn in their paper. Gaby turns in her paper done and Magdalena turns hers in not done at all. Francisco gets frustrated with Magdalena. Francisco asks Gaby why she chooses to treat Magdalena that way that she does. He notes that Magdalena is not stupid and that treating her that way now she won’t be able to fix the problem later. He tells Gaby that the two of them (Gaby & Magdalena ) will be working together everyday for now on. Adriana gives Hugo the number to the florist and on his way out of her office he steals her pen. The teachers are in the staff room and they are celebrating Adriana’s birthday. Later Adriana talks to Francisco about his problem getting Magdalena and Gaby to work together. At the pool hall, Fercho, Hugo and Carlos are talking about how they can get some money when Carlos suggest committing a few robberies. Fercho is against the idea of robbing and says he will not participate. Gaby and Magdalena are talking at school and Gaby tries to get Magdalena to open up to her but Magdalena is reluctant. Adriana is in her office with Francisco when her phone rings. Her son Alex called to with her a happy birthday and tells her that he wants to see her on her birthday. She aggress to stop by and see him tonight. Gonzalo talks to Alex when he gets off the phone and says he wants to throw a surprise party for Adriana. Hugo and Carlos meet at the park and divide up the stuff they stole. Carlos is upset because Hugo wants to take all the money they got but Hugo protest that he needs is more than him. At Hugo’s house, his mother and father are discussing their finances when Hugo walks in and hands an amount of the money to his mother and gives the rest to his dad. Hugo’s dad demands to know where the money came from and Hugo tells him nothing. Adriana goes to Gonzalo’s apartment to see Alex and is surprised with a party. Francisco is waiting for Adriana at the restaurant. Adriana pulls Gonzalo aside and yells at him for throwing her a party knowing she already had plans. She receives a page from Francisco, calls him back and tells him that she cannot leaves because Gonzalo and Alex threw a party for her. The next day Francisco talks with Gaby and Magdalena about working to together. He is clearly frustrated that they don not seem to get along. Magdalena asks to speak with the profe alone and Gaby leaves. While talking to Magdalena, he notices the bruise on her face. She gets up and runs off. Magdalena ends up running into Kike and she cries on his shoulder. That night they are walking together and he comments that he wants to help her. She thanks him for being there and they kiss. Francisco is in Adriana’s office looking through some files when she walks in and tries to apologize about last night. He tells her that it’s fine and quickly changes the subject. He tells Adriana that he suspects that Magdalena’ parents hit her and he wants to bring them in to talk with them. Kike sees Magdalena before school and tells her that he is going to break up with Marce to be with her. She replies that one kiss doesn’t not meant they should be together, they are just friends. Dionisio is worried about Magdalena telling about the fight last night and Marlen replies that everything is fine. Hugo’s mom goes into his room and ties to wake him up quietly so he can go to school. His father storms into the room and demands that Hugo wake up and get to work to make money for the house. Marlen and Dionisio show up at the school and talk to Adriana and Francisco about Magdalena. They mention that she showed up with a bruise on her face and they ask them what happened. Dionisio replies that Magdalena is a very troubled kid and is always fighting someone. Marlen and Dionisio leave, but Adriana doesn’t believe them.
Thursday 2/6-
At Hugo’s house he is receiving crap about not bringing in enough money to pay for medicine. He gets upset and wants to know why he wasn’t told that they needed medicine for his mom. His mother wants him to continue with school but he refuses. Kike and Marce are talking and she notices that there is some distance between them. She tells him that she is ready to make love to him. He is surprised at first, and then while she is talking to him some more he pictures Magdalena. Marce thinks that he doesn’t like her anymore and wants to know what’s is going on with him. He snaps out of it and aggress to make love to her. Francisco is teaching the class and Marce tells Gaby that she is going to make love to Kike because they are in love with each other. In class, Marcela is looking at Kike and she thinks he is exchanging a glance with her but he is really looking at Magdalena. Adriana is talking with Hugo about his attendance and he tells her that he really needs to work an spend less time focused on school. After school, Hugo runs into some strange guys who tell him to meet them back at the park for a job. Hugo agrees. The boys are hanging at the pool hall and Fercho talks to Kike about him and Marcela. Fercho tells him that he would be taking advantage of Marce if he doesn’t really like her. Fercho tells Hugo and Carlos that committing robberies is dangerous. When Magdalena arrives home Dionisio attacks her because he thinks that she told the school that he beat her up. She gets free and runs to Gaby’s house. When Gaby answers the door, Magdalena hugs Gaby and cries. She opens up to Gaby about all the abuse going on in her house. The next day Hugo is talking to Adriana in her office and he tells her that he is no longer interested in school and is deciding to drop out. Francisco runs into Magdalena and tells her that she needs to speak with Adriana about what is going on at home. She refuses, because she knows that when Dionisio finds out he will beat her mom. Instead of going to school, Hugo leaves to catch up with the guys he met earlier. Fercho is worried, while Carlos is indifferent. Francisco and Adriana have a nice chat about Hugo and Magdalena and their situations. Marcela and Kike are talking later and she tells them that they can go to Gaby’s house after school and make love there. Magdalena watches them from a distance. Hugo meets up with the strange men and they start to plan the robberies they are going to commit that night. At the prepa, Don Eze and Adriana ask Marlen to come and speak to the class about physical abuse. She refuses at first but then later agrees. At night the guys offer Hugo a beer that has been mixed with a drug. He drinks all of it. Gaby and Magdalena are walking down the street. Gaby tells Magdalena that Marce and Kike are at her house because they are going to make love. Magdalena looks a little sad about it. At Gaby’s house Kike and Marce are under the covers kissing when Kike calls her Magdalena. She quickly jumps out of bed and tells him to leave and that she never wants to see him again. After he leaves, Marce begins to cry. Hugo completely disoriented y now is taken away by the guys. They go to his house where they rob everything of value. They then take Hugo with them and drop him off in the street. Magdalena and Gaby show up at Gaby’s house. Marce walks downstairs and is upset to find Magdalena there. Gaby asks her what happened and she says that everything is ok and that is was great. At the Pool hall Fercho asks Kike what happened. He tells him that they were on the verge of doing it when he called out Magdalena’s name. Magdalena is washing up in Gaby’s bathroom and remembers the kiss she shared with Kike. The next day Hugo’s mother and father wake up to find their stuff as well as Hugo gone too. Hugo’s dad believes that his son had something to do with it. Hugo’s parents go to see Adriana and tell her that Hugo didn’t come home and all their stuff was stolen. Adriana receives a call form the hospital stating that they have Hugo there. Magdalena is surprised to enter class and find her mom there. She is not happy at all. Marlen begins to talk to the class about being physically abused. Halfway through the speech, Magdalena gets up and walks out. Marlen follows behind her. Magdalena and Marlen fight outside the classroom about why her mom was doing that. Magdalena is afraid that Dionisio will hurt them but Marlen tells Magdalena that they will be safe now. Francisco overhears the whole conversation. After Magdalena leaves he talks with Marlen and tells her that if she didn’t do the right thing Magdalena would be in danger. Magdalena runs into Kike and he tells her that since their last kiss that he couldn’t stop thinking about her. They Kiss and Gaby walks in and sees them.
Friday 2/7 –
Gaby asks Magdalena about her involvement with Kike. She is worried because she knows that Marcela is in love with Kike. Magdalena tells her that they are just friends. During gym class, Dago makes the class run, Gaby begins to run but starts to feel pain in her stomach. Magdalena tells Dago that Gaby cannot run in her condition but he tells her that she better run or she will get in trouble. Adriana and Francisco are walking by the class when they notice that Gaby is out there running. The comment about how she shouldn’t be running in her condition. While running Gaby being s to feel dizzy and passes out. Magdalena calls for a couple of people to help take Gaby to the nurse. Dago tells Magdalena to calm down and she replies that its his fault it even happened. Hugo is talking to his mom and cannot believe that they were robbed. He tries to remember what happened but can only remember being with the guys in the park. Carlos comes to visit him and Hugo’s mother leaves them alone. Carlos helps Hugo escape from the hospital. In the nurses office, Gaby wakes up and Marce blames Magdalena for what happened to Gaby. They begin to fight but Gaby tells them to knock it off. Marcela taunts Magdalena about Kike before leaving the room. Gaby tells Magdalena the Dago is the father of her child. Adriana and Magdalena are talking and Magdalena tells her about how Dago made Gaby run even though he knew that Gaby was pregnant. Dago is talking to Blanca about what happened and she tells him that he need s to have more responsibility. Adriana finds out that Hugo left the hospital and says they should have the police find him. The teacher are having a meeting about the situation with Dago and Francisco tells them the only way to get rid of him is to make everyone aware of his actions. Marcela is still upset with Kike about the situation the other day. He is in the middle of apologizing when he falls down the hill. She forgives him and they kiss. A parent is talking to a group of kids about Dago’s actions. He pulls her aside and confronts her. She tells him to leave the school or his life will be hell. Adriana asks Fercho if he knows where Hugo is so that she can help him. He lies and tells her he doesn’t know, later Fercho tells Kike that Hugo is hiding out at his house. Don Eze and Francisco talk about Dago’ treatment of Gaby. Done Eze once again does nothing. The men who robbed Hugo’s house are busted by the cops. Next gym class, the students boycott running because Dago’s treatment of Gaby. Dago tells them if they do not cooperate then he will fail them for the year everyone, including Gaby, begins to run and Kike and Magdalena remain seated. Dago escorts them to Don Eze’s office where Don Eze tells them that he will do nothing about is and to leave. Done Eze then tells Dago that is through defending him. Adriana goes to the police station and tells the commander that she thinks Hugo is at his friend house and gives them information to Fercho’s house. Francisco and the student plan to host a forum to teach about sexual abuse. Francisco asks Gaby to share about her situation with Dago then but she refuses to be involved. Magdalena tells them to go ahead with it and she will convince Gaby. Dago is walking around the school and everyone is chanting abuser about him. Hugo, Fercho and Carlos are hiding out at Fercho’s house. The police show up and they try to run from them. The police catch up with the boys and take Hugo to jail. Kike and Magdalena are alone. She wants to know if he is truly interested in her and he replies that he is. He tells Magdalena that he only likes her and they kiss. Gaby happens to walk by and spy them kissing again. Blanca receives a phone call saying that three students from the school where arrested. She tells Adriana and Adriana rushes to the police station. They interrogate Hugo and he tells them he doesn’t know anything and he didn’t commit the robbery. Hugo’s father believes that he was in on the robbery and doesn’t want Hugo living with him anymore. Hugo mother is upset about that. Adriana talks to Hugo in jail. She talks to him about she thought he was working hard, not robbing. She is very disappointed in him making Hugo sad. They hug and then she leaves. At the School they have a assembly about sexual abuse. The kids ask for Magdalena to speak. She gets to the podium and accuses Dago of sexual abuse. He tries to deny it and she tells him that they will see…she calls for someone to come speak and Gaby walks in.
WEEK 3: Feb 10-14, 2003
Monday
2/10-
Everyone watches as Gaby enters the room and goes and speaks in front of the
class. Gaby tells them that while Dago is the father she has to take full
responsibility. Everyone feels the impact of what happened to Gaby but it
really don’t take much out of it. As Dago leaves the gathering he is met by the
shouts from students. Magdalena is very sad and is bothered by the treatment
that her and her mother receive at home. She goes and begins to pack her stuff
and leave. Dionisio shows up and before Magdalena could leave he begins to beat
her. Magdalena is able to get away and Gaby is outside waiting for her. Adriana
doesn’t want to work at the school anymore because she feels that she has
failed at her job, She couldn’t keep Gaby from becoming pregnant, and Hugo from
being in jail for three months. Francisco tries to convince her to stay but she
tells him that she has already made up her mind. Alex and a friend decide to
take Gonzalo’s car for a spin while he is sleeping. They arrive at the store
and go inside. When they come out they realize that the jeep has been stolen.
Alex tells Gonzalo who is irritated by the situation, He lets Alex know that he
can no longer trust him anymore. At the School, everyone is weary of Dago and
choose not to be around him. He blames Francisco for ruining his life but
Francisco lets him know that he had nothing to do with it and no longer wants
to be his friend. Magdalena is walking by herself depressed because she has no
place to go. Fercho sees her and tells her that she can stay at his house and
gives her the keys. Gaby talks with Kike about his attraction towards Magdalena
and tells him that she leaves both Marce and Magdalena alone. Adriana goes to
Magdalena house to talk with her parents about Magdalena being depressed and
possibly suicidal. At home is Marlen and Dionisio. They explain that Magdalena
is fine she is just rebellious. Adriana and Francisco decide to look for
Magdalena together but when she finds out about Alex and that situation with
Gonzalo she tells him that she has to go. Francisco and Kike are looking for
Magdalena when they come across Fercho. They ask him has he seen Magdalena and
he first tells them no. Kike says he doesn’t believe him and asks again. Fercho
then tells them about giving her the keys to his house. Gonzalo and Adriana are
at her house and are having a discussion. Alex enters the room and listens.
Adriana tells Gonzalo that she doesn’t have a lot of money. Gonzalo gets upset
and begins throwing money at her. Adriana demands that he leave the house
immediately and Gonzalo begins to get violent. Alex hits Gonzalo and tells him
to leave his mom alone. Gonzalo realizing that Alex witnessed the whole thing
leaves. Alex hugs Adriana afterwards. Magdalena is at Fercho’s house and
decides to take some tranquilizers and end her life. She leaves. Francisco and
Kike arrive at Fercho’s house too late, they immediately look for Adriana and
show her the note. Magdalena, with a bottle of liquor in hand is looking out
over a bridge at cars below.
Tuesday 2/11-
Magdalena is on a bridge with a bottle of liquor in her hand. She looks out
over the railing and watches at the traffic goes by. Adriana and Francisco go
to Marlen and show her the note that Magdalena left. Marlen remembers getting
into a fight with Magdalena just the day before and becomes extremely worried
about Magdalena safety. Dionisio tells Marlen that Magdalena is only doing that
for attention and to ignore her. Marlen refuses stating that’s her daughter and
leaves with Francisco, Kike and Adriana to find Magdalena. Meanwhile Magdalena
is at the pool hall and she is playing video games and drinking excessively.
Francisco, Adriana, Marlen and Kike find Fercho, Carlos and the other chavos in
the park. They ask if they have seen Magdalena and they relpy no. Marlen pleads
with Fercho to tell her where her child is because she is truly worried about
her. Fercho gives in and tells her they saw Magdalena at the pool hall earlier.
Magdalena is still at the pool hall and drinking more. She walks past different
guys and flirts with them. She then takes off for the bathroom where she
becomes sad and begins to cry. She takes a bottle of pills out of her pocket
and holds them in her hands. The group arrive at the pool hall and ask the
manager if he has seen Magdalena. He replies yes, she’s in the bathroom. The
run down the stairs and break down the bathroom door. The find Magdalena
sitting in a corner. Adriana asks her if she took anything, and Magdalena opens
her hands and lets all of the pills fall out. Marlen tells Magdalena that she
loves her and she is the most important person in her life. Magdalena gets
upset and storms out of the pool hall. Marlen follows and they have an argument
about Dionisio. Marlen tells Magdalena that she is leaving him. Later Francisco
and Adriana have a conversation about Magdalena and her situation. They feel
really bad it went that far. At Magdalena’s house, Marlen tells Dionisio that
she and Magdalena are leaving. He becomes angry and threatens Marlen but she
stands up to him. She begins bringing her bags downstairs and Dionisio pleads
and begs her to take him back. She refuses saying that her daughter will always
come first for now on. Magdalena and Kike are outside and he tries to get her
to explain why she did that. She doesn’t want to talk about it so she begins to
walk away. He has put up with enough of her attitude and begins to leave.
Magdalena calls him back over and Kike tells her that he really does want to be
with her. They kiss. Marlen come outside and Kike helps her carry her bags to
Adriana’s car. The next day at school, Francisco and Adriana fight because she
is leaving the school. Francisco tries to persuade her because the school needs
her and the students do too. She states that she is doing it to spend more time
with her son, Alex. Finally Francisco tells her that what ever she chooses to
do is fine, he respects her decision.
TWO
MONTHS LATER…….Fercho, Carlos and another guy are in the teachers
lounge stealing the answers to the math exam. Fercho begins to have second
thoughts and Carlos tells him that if he gets kicked out of the school then he
will get kicked out of his house. They see someone coming so they put
everything back and leave. As they rush down the hallway, they run into Ana
Maria, the new English teacher. Blanca runs into Francisco and tells him that
Adriana decided to return to the school. He can’t believe it. In English class,
Fercho and Carlos are talking to one another when Ana Maria walks through the
door. She announces that she will be their new English teacher. Fercho and
Carlos try to hide their faces from her but she surprises them and recognizes
them instantly. In Don Ezequiel’s office he welcomes Adriana back to the school
and asks her if she could do him a favor, befriend the new English teacher Ana
Maria. Adriana accepts. In English class, Ana Maria asks Marce if she has a
boyfriend. She replies no because he left her for another girl and looks back
at Kike. Ana Maria walks over to where Carlos and Fercho are sitting and takes
the answers to the math exam from them. Francisco and Adriana are talking alone.
He expresses how happy he is to see her and tries to give her a kiss. Adriana
moves away stating that she needs more time to think. After class, Fercho asks
Ana Maria for the paper back, she tells him no because he was not paying
attention in class. He tries to explain that he is not a bad person but she
isn’t hearing it. Francisco happens to walk by and Ana Maria remembers seeing
him at a teacher conference a while back. They talk and catch up. Magdalena,
Fercho, Kike and Carlos are all talking about getting the paper back in the
classroom. They are afraid of getting caught. Ana Maria asks Francisco to meet
her later. He agrees. In Adriana’s class they are having a discussion about
doing the right things in life. Kike makes come kid give him all of his money.
Ana Maria is talking to Adriana and tells him about the handsome guy she met
named Francisco. She asks Adriana if they were once together and Adriana tells
her that they are now just friends. Carlos and Fercho make some girl go into
the teachers lounge and question Francisco about the exams. Ana Maria asks
Francisco if he would like to go to the movies with her. He accepts. At a club
Gaby and Marce are looking for someone to Dj their school party and they meet
Dylan and asks him if he would mind doing it. After the movie, Ana Maria asks
Francisco if he would like to go dancing, he says yes and they head out to the
club. At the party, Dylan asks them to stay but, they say they can’t Dylan asks
Marce and Gaby for their phone numbers. Gaby gives him her phone number. At At
Gaby’s house, Gaby is trying to squeeze into her old clothing. Marce tells her
that it’s bad for the baby, and that she should just get looser clothing. Then
Gaby puts on a corset and Marce tells her that what she is doing is wrong, but
Gaby doesn’t care. At the pool hall Fercho is still stressing over being caught
with the exam. At Adriana’s apartment her and Blanca talk about Ana Maria’s
attraction to Francisco. At the party, Ana Maria and Francisco are dancing.
(notice he still has his work with him. LOL.) Gaby spots him there with Ana
Maria and talks to him for a while. When Gaby leaves, Ana Maria asks him why he
looks so worried. He replies its because Gaby is out there partying when she is
pregnant. After the party Francisco and Ana Maria leave. Outside she tells him
that she had a great time with him. He tells her that she is drunk and then she
kisses him. He drops his books in his hand and responds to the kiss.
Wednesday 2/12-
Gaby is walking home with Dylan, when he pulls her aside and tires to kiss her.
She backs off and tells him that her mom is waiting up for her so she has to
go. The next day at school, Fercho and Carlos are talking with Magdalena and
Gaby. They see Ana Maria coming by and they send Gaby away. Carlos and Fercho approach
Ana Maria and ask her if she gave Francisco the paper with the answers to the
math quiz. She acts like she doesn’t know what they are talking about. Carlos
gets a little mean and she yells at him to show respect because she is a
teacher. She then begins to walk off only to turn back around and give Carlos
some gum for his breath. He is surprised and asks Fercho if his breath stinks.
Fercho replies yes with a disgusted look on his face. Adriana is in the
teacher’s lounge talking with another teacher about. Near the basketball court
someone drops a sandwich out of their bag and the boy picks it up and eats it.
Gaby and Marce are walking around and Marce asks Gaby when she will tell Dylan
that she is pregnant. Gaby show no sign of telling him soon and Marce tells her
it’s not right to deceive him like that. Gaby knows but doesn’t seem to care
about telling him any time soon. Ana Maria finds Francisco in the teachers
lounge grading the math exams. He mentions that the kids who are struggling in
class seem to have done exceptionally well on the quiz. Ana Maria remembers
seeing Fercho and Carlos coming out of the Teacher’s lounge and taking the
sheet with the answers on it from them. Ana Maria tells him that his students
have betrayed him and gives him the notes with the answers on it. He is upset
that his students would do that. Francisco asks her if she knows who did it and
she doesn’t tell her. In class, Francisco states that he will give them 10
minutes to tell him who stole the answers of the test. He tells them how
disappointed he was in them and he couldn’t believe that they would betray him
like that. When no one comes forward, he then tells them they have an hour to
study before he retest them. After Francisco leaves Gaby, Marce and the others
in class approach Carlos and Fercho begging them to come forward and tell the
truth. Fercho agrees and begins to fight with Carlos about them telling.
Adriana is in the teachers lounge when Ana Maria walks in and asks if she can
talk to her about Francisco. Adriana tries to act like she is to busy but Ana
talks with her anyway. She tells Adriana that she went to the movies and
dancing with Francisco the night before. Adriana is surprised. When Ana tells
her that they kissed Adriana tires to control her anger. After school, Dylan is
waiting for Gaby. Gaby is surprised because in her uniform she looks pregnant.
He asks her to come hang out with him. Gaby asks Marce to come with them.
Francisco asks Ana Maria if she knows who stile the answers to the test and she
tells him Carlos and Fercho. Dylan and Gaby go to the movies and spend a lot of
time kissing and cuddling. Marce tags along really sad. Following day at
school, in class Francisco asks Carlos and Fercho to demonstrate a problem on
the test. He then tells the class that he is giving them another chance and
that he won’t tell Don Eze. Fercho and Carlos trip over each other trying to
tell the truth. Francisco tells them that they are great kids and should spend
more time studying then betraying their teachers. At Gaby’s house, Marce and
her are talking when Dylan call. Marce picks up the phone and he asks to speak
with Gaby. Marce tells him that Gaby is not there right now and she will give
him the message. After Marce gets off the phone she tells Gaby that she has to
tell Dylan that she is pregnant and she is going to do it now. At the pool hall
Fercho, Kike and Magdalena are talking when they see Dylan walk in. Fercho,
Carlos and Kike make jokes about telling Dylan and Magdalena tells them they
are saying anything to Dylan. Adriana tells Francisco that she is bothered that
he is seeing Ana Maria. Francisco is confused since Adriana had earlier told
him that she needed time. She gets upset and kicks him out of her car. Gaby and
Marce are on their way to the pool hall to tell Dylan the truth. Fercho, Carlos
and Kike tease Dylan and tell him that Gaby is pregnant. Dylan gets upset and
walks off. As he is walking out of the pool hall, Gaby tries to talk with him
but he doesn’t listen. The next day, Dylan goes to the school to talk with
Marce. He tells her that he is not interested in Gaby but in her. She tells him
that she cannot betray her friends like that. The teachers have a meeting to
plan the part y. Don Eze says that he wants Adriana and Francisco organize it.
Adriana tells Don Eze that she has to attend her fathers’ birthday party and
she cannot do it. Ana Maria says she can and it is settled that she will plan
it with Francisco. Dylan tells Marce to think about it and leaves before Gaby
sees him. Ana Maria and Adriana have a talk about the celebration. Ana Maria is
happy because she feels that she can get Francisco finally. Adriana is not very
happy about it. Gaby and Marce talk about her situation with Dylan and Gaby
hopes that it will work out. Blanca advises that Adriana try to stop the party
from happening if she still wants a chance with Francisco. Dylan tells his
friends that he found another girl that is a better match. Kike hits up the boy
for money and Adriana watches. Gaby has Marce call and ask for Dylan and when
he gets on the phone she tries to talk to him but he is busy and tells her he
will talk with her later. Adriana tells Kike to give the money back and he
tells her he doesn’t have the boy’s money. Magdalena walks by and Adriana tells
her what Kike did. She is not happy with him and pushes him. Marce meets with
Dylan after school, they go off together before Gaby can see them. Ana Maria
and Francisco are planning the celebration and decide to hold it at the club.
Dylan and Marce go to the movies and to different stores. They then go back to
his place where she asks him to DJ the school’s party, he agrees. Ana Maria and
Adriana go shopping for the celebration. Marce is talking with her mom while
they are working and she thinks that Marce hanging around with Dylan is a bad
idea. Magdalena talks with Kike about what he did. She tells him that she is
not happy with him and go and starts flirting with Carlos. Gaby tries to see
Dylan at he club but security tells her he is not there. Blanca again persuades
Adriana to get Don Eze to cancel the celebration because it’s too dangerous.
Don Eze talks with Adriana and she voices her concerns about the celebration.
He tells her to bring it up at the meeting. At the meeting Adriana tells them
how dangerous it is to hold the celebration at the club because anyone could
walk in who doesn’t have a ticket. They ask her what she is getting at and she
says that it is probably best if they cancel the celebration.
Thursday 2/13-
At the school, everyone is reacting to Adriana suggestion to cancel the party.
Don Eze then suggest that they hire security and make it invitation only.
Adriana gives in. As they walk down the hall, Ana Maria tells Adriana that she
plans on having the time of her life with Francisco. After Ana walks off
Adriana beats her head into a wall. Blanca tells Adriana to go to the party and
win Francisco over. That night at the party everyone with a ticket gets in but
when Kike gets to the front of the like the security won’t let him in without a
ticket. HE spots Magdalena, Fercho and Carlos and begs Magdalena to get him in.
She laughs in his face and turns him down. Inside everyone is dancing and
having a good time. Gaby approaches Dylan and asks to talk with him. He tells
her that he is busy but will meet her by the bathrooms in 5 minutes At home,
Adriana contemplates going to the fiesta, Alex walks in and tells her they are
going to be late for grandpa’s party. She tells him that she is almost ready.
When he leaves the room she thinks about Ana Maria all over Francisco and
decides to call and cancel on her grandfather. Dylan talks with Gaby and tells
her that she is pregnant and he found someone who is better than her. Gaby
cries as he walks off. Adriana tells her father that she has to work and she is
not able to make it. When she gets off the phone she tells Alex that she has to
work and can’t go to grandfather’s birthday party. He is disappointed. Kike is
still trying to get in when Adriana shows up. She attempts to get in telling
the security that she is a teacher but they won’t let her through with out a
ticket either. Francisco and Ana Maria are at the bar and Francisco asks for
water. Ana Maria kisses him and he forgets all bout the water. Blanca And Don
Eze show up ate the celebration and are surprised to see Adriana there. She
tells them that she can’t get in and the security apologizes and lets them all
through but Kike Inside Adriana tires to find Francisco. Gaby is dancing with
another guy when she sees Dylan leave the DJ stand and venture out into the
crowd. Dylan takes Marce by the hand and leads her into a corner. He asks her
for a kiss and she tells him that she is worried about hurting her best friend.
He tells her not to worry that everything will work out. They kiss. Ana Maria
and Francisco are talking and she invites him to her house. As the cuddle and
kiss Adriana shows up, surprised and calls Francisco’s name. She apologizes for
interrupting their passionate moment and walks off hurt. Gaby look around and
finally finds Dylan but he is kissing Marce. Blanca and Don Eze find Adriana
sitting by herself and asks her if she wants to dance, she replies no and tells
them to have a good time she will wait there. Magdalena, Fercho, and Carlos
completely drunk find a seat by themselves. Adriana observes them and goes over
there. She makes them give her all of their alcohol and tells them to wash
their faces off and drink a lot of water. She takes the alcohol back to the
table with her and when spotting Ana Maria and Francisco getting cozier begins
to drink. In the bathroom, Magdalena finds Gaby crying. When asked what
happened, Gaby tells her that she found Marce and Dylan kissing. Magdalena
tells her they should probably leave. Adriana manages to finish off the entire
bottle of left over liquor while watching Ana Maria and Francisco. Outside Kike
is watching the keys to the cars when he overhears Dylan and Marce’s
conversation. Dylan asks Marce to go back to his place with him. She is
reluctant because her mom will worry. He tells her to call her mom and tells
her that she is staying at Gaby’s. Marce agrees to go home with him. At the
celebration, Adriana is completely drunk and when Francisco and Ana Maria find
her they realize that. They ask her if she is ok. She says she is fine and then
falls flat on her face. They begin to pick her up and take her out of there
before Don Eze finds her but it’s too late. He yells that she is being
completely irresponsible and Francisco and Ana Maria tell Don Eze they will
take her home. Leaving the party also, Magdalena and Gaby walk home. Magdalena
tells Gaby that Marce is a hypocrite and Dylan isn’t exactly a saint either and
to forget about both of them. Ana Maria get Adriana home and in her bed. Alex
comes in and cannot believe that they let her get that drunk. After leaving
Adriana’s house Ana Maria suggest they go back to Francisco’s but he is still
worried about Adriana. Ana Maria tells him she will be fine but he decides not
to sleep with Ana Maria. At Dylan’s house Marce lies to her mom saying that he
is staying at Gaby’s and will be home after school. When she gets off the
phone, Her and Dylan dance and then they begin to kiss on his bed. The next
day, Magdalena, Kike and Fercho are on the computer looking for something for
their English assignment. Gaby helps them and they find a Story about a girl
who was forced into prostitution. Adriana is talking with Don Eze about her
behavior the night before. She is clearly hung over. She apologizes and while
Don Eze is yelling at her she gets up and runs to the bathroom to throw up but
doesn’t make it and does it in the plant. Gaby and Magdalena speak about Marce.
Magdalena advises her to let it go. Marce and Dylan are in bed. She wakes up
and notices that she is late for school. She wakes up Dylan and tells him. He
rather kiss her than take her to school but he takes her anyway. She tells him
that she gave him her virginity and she truly loves and cares for him.
Francisco finds Adriana taking medicine and replies that he was really worried
about her. She tells him that she will be of before she heads to the bathroom
to go throw up again. In English class, Kike turns in the group project. Ana
Maria tells him that it’s really good and asks him, Fercho or Magdalena to talk
about it. They look at each other confused. Dylan is at the pool hall and tells
his buddy that everything is working out great after he gets Marce to turn
against her friends and family and only trust in him he will train her here
before taking her to Europe.
Friday 2/14-
In English class, Kike tries to explain the story to the class but he doesn’t
do a good job. Ana Maria takes the paper from him and reads it to the class in
English and Spanish. Blanca Fans Adriana and asks her how things went with
Francisco. She tells her everything is fine. In class, Ana Maria tries to get
Fercho, Magdalena, or Kike to talk about the story but they don’t understand it
because it’s in English. Ana Maria gets frustrated and when Fercho says that he
doesn’t understand why they need to know English she goes off and tells them that
if they expect to be something then they need to learn how to understand her.
Marce shows up at he end of class and says that she slept in. She goes to talk
with Gaby but Gaby refuses to talk with her. Magdalena, Fercho and Kike make
fun of Marce and she leaves. Marce runs into Francisco and tells him
everything. He replies to her that no guy is worth loosing a friendship over.
Marce gets angry and storms off. Gaby and Magdalena talk and Magdalena suggest
telling Marce’s mom. Gaby doesn’t think they should but Magdalena tells her
it’s the right thing to do. The group meet (Gaby, Magdalena, Fercho, Kike and
Carlos) to try and translate the story. Everything they are saying is similar
to Marce’s situation. As they read, You see Marce in the clothing store buying
new clothes with Dylan. Adriana sees the kids and asks them if she could help
them. They ask of she is good with English and she tells the yeah, They ask her
to translate the document. Magdalena and Gaby leave Kike and Fercho to
translate it with Adriana, Kike and Fercho just tell Adriana that they need it
back by tomorrow for English class the next day. Gaby and Magdalena go to see
Marce’s mom. She asks the girls is Marce was with them, Gaby begins to say yes
but eventually tells her no that Marce was never with them, she has been with
her boyfriend, Dylan the whole time. Francisco spies Adriana in the teacher’s
lounge and asks her if she is ok. She replies yes. She tells him part of the
story that she is reading. During that time, Marce goes to see her mom. Marce
tries to explain to her mom that she was with Gaby but her mom tells her that
Gaby and Magdalena just came by and said she wasn’t with them. She then tells
her that she was with Dylan and spent some time at his house. Marce’s mom is
worried that Dylan is not a good guy. Marce tries to explain that Dylan is kind
and caring. When her mom asks if she slept with him Marce becomes upset and
leaves. Ana Maria walks in and finds out that Adriana is helping the kids
translated the document. Marce goes to see Dylan and cries to him about how her
friends and family have been treating her. HE tells her not to worry that he
will take care of her. That night, Ana Maria and Francisco are having dinner
and Ana Maria cannot figure out why Francisco won’t sleep with her. The next
day in class, Ana Maria addresses Kike, Magdalena, and Fercho about getting
outside help on their project. Magdalena gets upset when she finds out that
Kike gave Adriana the document to do for them and attempts to beat him up. She
is stopped by Ana Maria and others. Marce’s mom talks with Francisco about her
daughter. She feels that Marce is getting involved with a bad guy and is
worried about her. Francisco assures her that her daughter will be ok.
Meanwhile, Dylan is at his apartment with Marce and he is taking sexy pics of
her. Adriana talks with Kike and Fercho about the article. She translates a
little of it and asks them what they think. They don’t believe that its true at
all. She tells them that it’s a very serious article and that it could happen
to any of them, even someone at school. Dylan meets with his friend and shows
hi a picture of Marce. His friend tells him that she is definitely cute. Marce
tries to leave Dylan’s place but notices she is locked in. When she tries to use
the phone she notices the phone line is cut off. Magdalena, Fercho and Kike are
in a meeting with Ana Maria and she tells them the next class time she wants
them to present because this story is too important to not share with the
class. Marce is crying when Dylan returns she begins to yell at him for making
her stay there locked in and no phone line. He tries to explain that its
because he loves her and didn’t want her to leave him. She tries to leave while
he is there and he won'’ let her go. Francisco and Adriana talks about his
involvement with Ana Maria. The conversation shifts over to Marce and he tells
her about what Marce’s mother told him. Adriana sees the similarity between the
story and Marce situation and they head out to find her. Dylan tries to calm
Marce down and tells her that she can still work. She realizes that he wants to
prostitute her. The next day, Marce is up, sitting in a corner crying about the
situation with Dylan. He tells her to get cleaned up because she begins working
today. Francisco and Adriana talks with the other students, they find out that
Marce hasn’t been at school for days. Francisco finds out from Kike that Marce
had went home with Dylan after the party. Ana Maria talks with Adriana about
Francisco. She is confused as to why he rejected her after the party the other
night. Once Ana Maria leaves Adriana is happy. Marce is standing in front of a
window and yelling for help. Dylan stops her and leaves her in the room with
another girl (Cherry) They begin to talk and Cherry tells her that Dylan did
the same exact think to her too, brought her home, slept with her, bought her
clothes, her friends and family turned against her. She also tells her that she
cannot do anything about it. Once he trains her here she will be sent to
Europe. Marce begins to cry. At school, they are taking a test. Magdalena has
the answers written on her skirt and Fercho accidentally leans in too far when
trying to copy. Magdalena gets offended and Kike is ready to beat up Fercho.
Ana Maria asks Magdalena to lift her shirt and find that the answers are on her
leg. She takes Magdalena and Fercho’s tests and sends to see Adriana. Dylan
returns and sizes up Marce and the other girl.
WEEK
4: 2/17-21/03:
Monday
2/17—
At
Dylan’s apartment, He chooses to pick the other girl over Marce but lets her
know that her day will come. Fercho and Magdalena are in the hallway after
class and she is upset that they were caught cheating. When Ana Maria walks out
of class Fercho runs after her and begs her to forgive him. He tells her that
he couldn’t study because he was worried about his sister who hadn’t come home
from vacation yet. Ana Maria feels sorry for him and tells him he can make up
the test later today. Adriana and Francisco talk about Marce and Francisco tells
her that nobody hasn’t heard or seen her in school in a couple of days. Adriana
tells him that she is going to call Marce’s mom and they can stop by and see
her later. Francisco tells her that is fine. Magdalena and Fercho are in the
courtyard and Fercho brags about how easy it was to con Ana Maria. He tells her
that she should have done what he did. Ana Maria and Francisco are in the
teacher lounge having a private conversation. She is trying to get him to agree
to come over when Adriana shows up and interrupts. She tells Francisco that
Consuelo (Marce’s mom) hasn’t heard or seen her daughter in days. He tells her
that they need to go see Consuelo right away and Adriana reminds him that he
was not alone. Francisco tells Ana Maria that he is very sorry for leaving but
he has to take care of some business. Ana Maria is a little upset that
Francisco left again because of Adriana. They arrive at the fruit stand that
Consuelo runs and have a side conversation before going to speak with Consuelo.
Fercho and Magdalena go into the cafeteria and Magdalena sits behind Ana Maria
unnoticed. Fercho walks up to Ana Maria and she asks him if he is ready to take
the exam. He tells her no because he just found out that his sister was
kidnapped on vacation by some strange guys and he has to be there for his
family. She understands and asks him to sit down and eat with her. Magdalena
look on rather angrily. Consuelo has a conversation with Adriana and Francisco.
They are worried that she might have been caught up in teenage prostitution.
Consuelo is livid at that fact that they would say something like that. She
tells them that her daughter would never do something like that and she is just
probably with her boyfriend Dylan. She refuses to file a police report because
nobody would pay attention to a child who just wanted to be with her boyfriend.
Francisco and Adriana leave not feeling any better about the situation. After
they left a woman comes up to Consuelo buying some fruit. The lady asks about
Marce and Consuelo tells her that Marce fine and she is out studying. She
doesn’t seem to look convinced though. Francisco tells Adriana how upset he is
about Consuelo reaction to Marce absence. He suggest going to the club where
Dylan works and then he remembers that he was supposed to spend time with Ana
Maria that night. Adriana tells him that she will just meet him there if he
come sup with any new information. At the club, Fercho is bragging to the group
about how he was able to con his way out of the English exam. They other don’t really
seem to care too much. Francisco and Ana Maria show up at the club. She is
talking to Francisco about Fercho’s family problems. Marce is still at the
apartment and she is crying. She decides to close herself in the closet. Dylan
and Cherry arrive back and Cherry begins to eat. Dylan calls out for Marce and
begins looking for her. He finds her in the closet. When she comes out she
begins to argue with him about everything and nothing really comes of it. At
the club, Fercho is dancing in a cage with another girl. Carlos comes and joins
him. Fercho happens to look up and see Ana Maria and panics. He tells the
chavos that Ana Maria and Francisco are there and begins to hide praying that
he won’t get caught. Kike being a jerk calls Francisco and Ana Maria over to
the table where they are sitting. Francisco asks if he can leaves her alone for
a moment while he takes care of some business. She tells him that it’s fine and
she is going to go talk with the chavos. She greets them and ask them if they
heard anything about Fercho. They reply no. Kike laments that Fercho is having
a difficult time right now. Adriana shows up at the club and the chavos decide
to leave. She asks Ana Maria where Francisco is . Ana Maria tells her in the
bathroom. Adriana sticks around and waits for him. Fercho manages to crawl out
from up under the table and continues to crawl, right into security. Francisco
talks with the Dj who is working and he tells him nothing about Dylan. Fercho
gets thrown outside with the others and begins to pick a fight with Kike for
almost getting him in trouble. Back inside Ana Maria talks to Adriana and
Francisco about Fercho’s sister and they tell her that Fercho doesn’t have a
sister, just two brothers. Marce has a talk with Cherry about how she met Dylan
and became a prostitute. She tells her that she works hard to earn the money
and where would she be without it. Consuelo is walking home and begins to think
about Marce and gets sad. She stops on the side of the street and pulls a pick
of Marce out of her wallet and talks to it. Next Day, the chavos are in English
class and they are singing twinkle, twinkle little star. Carlos keeps on
laughing during the song and Ana Maria tells him to be quiet. Then she asks
Fercho how is sister is doing and before Fercho can get his sob story straight
she tells him that she knows he really doesn’t have a sister. She then tells
him that he better have his work into her by the end of the day or he won’t
pass. Consuelo goes to see Francisco and Adriana. Cherry and Marce are sleeping
when Dylan wakes them up and gives them new clothes to put on because some
clients are coming to see them today. Marce begs Dylan to let her go and see
her mom but he refuses. After Dylan leaves Cherry helps calm Marce down and get
her to go along with everything. Adriana and Francisco talks with Consuelo and
she tells them she wants to go to the police. They head down to the police
station where they file a report. The chavos are at Fercho’s house and are
making fun of him because his plan didn’t work. Two men show up at Dylan’s
apartment for Cherry and Marce. Cherry takes the younger one attractive one and
they leave Marce in the room with the ugly fat guy. Marce is scared and runs
around the room to get away from him. Cherry and the other man can hear them
outside and Cherry offers to make him a drink, and tells him to go relax in the
room and wait for her. Cherry then take the guys car keys and bates the other
man out of the room where Marce is. She gives Marce the keys and tells her to
go before they find out. Marce is grateful to her. Fercho is walking down the
street on his way to turn in his paper when the guys who stabbed him a while
back start chasing after him. Marce is walking down the street alone, crying
and upset. Kike sees her and pick’s her up and takes her behind a bust to talk.
She is so happy to see him she burst into tears and hugs him. She tells him
everything about being betrayed by Dylan and him wanting to turn her into a
prostitute. He tells her that she needs to go see her mom but she doesn’t want
to cuz she is ashamed. Fercho show up at the school and gives Ana Maria the
paper. He begins to lie about why he was so late but then decides to tell her
that a group of guys were going to attack him. Marce finds her mom and they have
a tearful reunion. They ask her where Dylan lives and she tells them where the
apartment is located. Kike wants to go but Francisco tells him that it’s not a
good idea. At the apartment, the guys tell Dylan that Cherry let Marce get away
and she stole their car. Cherry is sitting in front of the couch beaten.
Someone knocks on the door and Dylan goes to answer it. The police bust through
the door and Arrest Dylan and the other two guys. Marce enters the room
screaming at Dylan and sees Cherry on the floor beat up. She sits on the couch
next to Cherry and takes her in her arms.
Tuesday
2/18—
Adriana
and Ana Maria are out having coffee and Ana Maria asks Adriana why she seems to
always want to be around Francisco. Adriana finally tells her that her and Francisco
used to be a couple and that she is still in love with him. Ana Maria looks a
little upset. The next day at school Alex arrives with Adriana because he is
going to be going there. Alex is not happy about it but Adriana convinces him
it will be a great change and a way to prove he is responsible. On the bus,
Hugo yells out the window at Gaby, Magdalena, Carlos and Fercho. They run up to
the bus and hop on. They hug each other and are happy to see their friend out
of jail. While walking into school, Carlos convinces Hugo to talk with Don Eze
about getting back in the school. Kike and Marce are at a café and are talking
about her coming back to school. She is afraid that everyone will talk about
what happened to her and is scared because she doesn’t have any friends. Kike
tells her that everything will be ok and that he will better for her. She tanks
him and kisses him on the cheek. They leave to go to class. In the teacher’s
lounge, Adriana and Francisco are working on papers and talking. She tells him that
she told Ana Maria about their relationship and that she is still in love with
him. Francisco looks a little surprised at her admission of love for him. He
asks her how Ana Maria took it and she tells him that Ana was a little mad at
her but she doesn’t know how Ana feels about him. They exchange presents for
secret friend day and she asks him if the present was given as a friend or
something more. He doesn’t answer and Adriana leaves. Kike and Marce arrive at
the classroom and Magdalena eyes Marce with Kike. Marce is worried that
Magdalena will mess with her and Kike assures her that she won’t Marce and
Magdalena exchange looks and Kike tells Marce to calm down. They leave. Gaby
and Magdalena are talking and Gaby tells Magdalena to take it easy on Marce.
Magdalena refuses thinking that Marce will steal Kike from her. They begin
talking about the secret friend gift exchange and Magdalena gets an idea. Don
Eze is in his office talking with Hugo and his mom about letting him come back
to the prepa. He tells Hugo that he will not tolerate anymore bad behavior and
he will expel him. Hugo’s mom says that Hugo will be a model student. Adriana
walks in with Alex to introduce him to Don Eze and Hugo is a little mad and
leaves the office. Alex expresses how happy he is to be at the school and
everyone falls in love with him. After he leaves the office, Alex bumps into a
girl and helps her pick up her things. Hugo approaches Alex and they exchange
comments. He expresses that he wants to join the gang and Hugo tells him that
he is too young and weak. Alex tells him that he can prove that he is tough. In
Math they exchange gifts for secret friend day. Magdalena hands Marce a box and
tells her to open it. Marce find lingerie in it and Magdalena tells her she can
use it for her new job. Kike is upset that Magdalena did that to Marce and
Magdalena gets mad at him for defending Marce. Marce gives Kike a Kiss in front
of everyone and Magdalena is ready to kill her. Francisco comes in and everyone
calms down. Gaby gives Francisco a gift. Ana Maria walks in and kisses
Francisco. The class whistles at her as she leaves. Gaby asks if Francisco is
dating Ana Maria and Francisco doesn’t answer. Magdalena meets with Juan David
and asks him to help her spread around that Marce is a prostitute. He agrees.
At the soccer game, Alex approaches Hugo and tells him that they are going to
steal Don Eze’s Hugo cannot believe what he said. Alex convinces Hugo to come
along. Ana Maria and Francisco are talking. She tells him that she wants to plan
a romantic weekend with him. Kike and Magdalena are talking. She is upset that
he chooses to be around Marce and wants him to choose between the two of them.
He chooses Magdalena and she asks him why he chooses to defend Marce. He tells
her that something really bad happened to Marce and that is why he is like
that. Juan David begins telling everyone about Marce being a prostitute and
then goes and tells Magdalena that he did his job. She kisses him and leaves.
Later, Marce is walking down the hall and the kids begin the talk about her and
she cries and runs off. Blanca is at her desk talking on the phone when Hugo
walks by and slips into Don Eze’s office. Marce is trying to read a book when
two girls behind her make mean comments about her. She gets up and leaves. Kike
and Francisco are outside talking. Kike expresses that he feels torn between
being friends with Marce and being Magdalena’s boyfriend. Francisco tells him
that he has a friend going through a similar thing. He tells him to find a
solution quick. Kike says there is no solution because he wants to be Magdalena
boyfriend but still cares for Marce. Blanca is at her desk when Alex comes by
and asks her if he could go into Don Eze’s office to look for a piece of
jewelry his mom dropped earlier. She agrees and lets him in. Alex finds Hugo
already in the office. When they are in the clear they take Don Eze’s lunch and
throw it out the window. Blanca come in and Hugo hides again. Alex tells her he
couldn’t find it and leaves. Marce speaks with Adriana about everyone knowing
that she was almost a prostitute. Adriana tells her that they will forget about
it soon enough and not to worry. Marce tells her that it’s Magdalena’s fault
and Adriana promises to talk with Magdalena and make it stop. Adriana fids Magdalena
and questions her about the rumors being spread about Marce. Magdalena denies
everything. Adriana asks Magdalena to leave Marce alone and she agrees. Don Eze
and Blanca enter his office and Hugo thinks he is almost caught but Don Eze
doesn’t find him. They leave the office and Hugo manages to slip out unnoticed.
Marce and Kike talk. He tells her that he wants to only be her friend. She lets
him know that she wants to leave the school because of all the rumors about her
and that Magdalena would not like them being friends. Adriana talks with
Francisco and he lets her know that he only wants to be her friend. She asks
him who is important to him her or Ana Maria. They almost kiss and Ana Maria
walks in. She says nothing to them, puts her stuff away and leaves. Hog is mad
at Alex for almost getting him in trouble. Hugo doesn’t wants him in the gang
but Alex tells him that he can do something better. Marcela goes to use the
bathroom when three guys follow her and lock themselves in with her. They begin
to harass her and she locks herself into one of the stalls and yells for them
to leave her alone. Magdalena sees them through the window and breaks in and
helps her. Marce is not grateful because she thinks that Magdalena was
responsible for the rumors, and her loosing her friendship with Gaby. Magdalena
tells her that stealing Dylan from Gaby was why her and Gaby weren’t friends
and that she doesn’t want her stealing Kike form her. Marce states that they
are even because Magdalena stole Kike from her. Magdalena replies that Kike
pursued her not the other way around and leaves Marce crying. Kike and
Francisco talk about their girl problems. After school, Alex tells his mom that
he made some new friends today and they he is going to study with them tonight.
Adriana is happy he is adjusting to the school. Alex, Fercho, Carlos and Hugo
decide that Alex will steal a trophy from the school and Hug offers to help.
Outside, Magdalena finds Kike and asks him who he choose. He says he chooses
her and they kiss right at Marce walks up.
Wednesday
2/19—
Hugo
talks with Adriana about him changing his life and being a good student.
Adriana is proud. At the pool hall everyone is celebrating. Kike is alone and
begins to think about the times he had with Marce. Alex shows up to get Hugo so
they can rob the trophies. Fercho expresses to Hugo that it’s not a good idea
that he goes but Hugo tells him that it’ll be ok. Alex and Hugo leave for the
school. They hop the fence and sneak in. As they are scanning for security
guards, Hugo begins to think about what Fercho told him. Alex thinks Hugo is
punking out but Hugo tells him he intends on going though with it. Kike goes to
see Marce at the store and he tells her that he really wants her as a friend.
She calls him a liar. Hugo runs along that school grounds and is almost caught
by security. Francisco shows up at dinner with Don Eze and Blanca. they ask him
where Ana Maria is and he tells them he doesn’t know. Ana Maria and Adriana are
talking about Francisco. Ana Maria states that she if fine with the friendship
between Adriana and Francisco. They make a toast. At the pool hall everyone is
singing and dancing. Kike show up with Marce and Magdalena is upset that he
brought her there. Kike tells everyone that Marce has something to say to them
and Magdalena doesn’t want to stick around for it. Kike makes Magdalena stay.
Alex manages to sneak past the security guard and heads for the trophies. Marce
tells them that what happened to her was something really bad. That she
suffered a lot because of it and she lost her best friend. Gaby begins to cry
and tells Marce that she forgives her. Magdalena is still upset at Kike and he
assures her that he only wants to be with her. As they start the party back up
Kike makes a toast to love and friendship. Alex is at the door and is trying to
get it open when Hugo shows up and pushes him out of the way. Alex pushes back
and they fight. The security guard catches them and Alex pushes Hugo into the
security guard so he can get away. Hugo runs after Alex and the security guard
is not far behind. Alex manages to hide form the two of them. Once they leave,
he goes back for the trophies. At Fercho’s house Magdalena, Kike , Marce and
Carlos are partying. Gaby is trying to help Fercho get his homework done. She tells
them to be a little quiet. They decide to leave when Magdalena tells Fercho
that there is someone here to see him. A man brings his brother to him and asks
that Fercho watch him for a few days. Fercho tries to protest because he needs
to study, but agrees. Adriana walks into Alex’s room and asks him where he was
late last night. Alex lies saying he was studying. She asks him about school
and he tells her that it’s really nice. She is happy that he likes being there.
Fercho is giving his brother a bath when the chavos come over. Gaby asks him if
he needs help and Fercho tells her he’s in control. Fercho puts Harrison to bed
and begins to study. Harrison asks him to tell him a story and Francisco starts
telling him a story about a boy who plays soccer. Consuelo is talking to
Francisco and she tells him that she is worried about Marce because of what
happened with Dylan and everything. Francisco assures Consuelo that Marce is a
sweet wonderful, smart girl who will make it through all of this. Marce overhears
them and begins to cry. She apologizes toe them for hurting them and betraying
them. Consuelo tells her that she forgives her and Francisco does the same.
They all hug. At school Hugo is in Don Eze office. Don Eze tells him that he is
sure that Hugo stole the trophies from the school. When Hugo tries to deny it
Don Eze tells him he is lying because the security guard identified him at the
scene. The security guard also states that there was someone else with him.
Alex finds Fercho, Carlos, Kike and Magdalena and shows them the trophies he
stole. They let him know that Hugo is in trouble because of him. Alex comments
that it’s not his problem and Kike is ready to beat him up. Francisco stops
Kike and notices the trophies in Alex’s hands. Kike tells Francisco that he was
going to take him to Don Eze’s. Kike calls Alex crazy and Alex tries to jump on
him. Francisco escorts Alex to Don Eze’s himself. In the office, Don Eze tells
Hugo that he will expel him from the school and call the police to lock him up.
Hugo begs him not to do that. Francisco brings Alex into Don Eze’s office and
shows him the trophies. Don Eze asks Hugo if Alex helped him and Hugo lies to
keep Alex out of trouble. Hugo gets expelled. Alex looks a little happy. In
English class that students are getting ready for class when Fercho remembers
that he didn’t get his homework done. Gaby tells Fercho to explain that he had
to take care of his brother. Later, Francisco mentions to Adriana that Alex may
be falling into a bad crowd and getting into some trouble. Adriana doesn’t
believe him thinking that it’s a ploy to get them closer together. In class
Fercho’s brother show’s up and Ana Maria asks if that is why Fercho couldn’t
get his work done. He says yes and Ana Maria decides to give him a second chance.
Carlos is upset that Hugo got expelled on account of Alex. Hugo defends Alex
stating that because of him he didn’t end up in jail. On the soccer field
Fercho tells Harrison to stay put while he practices. After 2 minutes Harrison
get sup and walks away. Fercho looks over and notices that Harrison was not
there. Fercho runs off the field to find him. Ana Maria tells Francisco that
Adriana believes he is intentionally telling lies about Alex to hurt her. He
explains that he is just trying to keep Alex out of trouble. Ana Maria understands. Adriana and Alex are talking and she tells him that she had
a talk with Francisco. Alex is irritated. Fercho begs the trainer to let him
stay on the team but because he missed practice he was kicked off. Ana Maria runs
into Fercho moping with Harrison beside him. He explains that because of
Harrison he was kicked off the team. Ana Maria gives him a number to call. Alex
is at the pool hall with Hugo and tells him he has a proposition for him.
Thursday
2/20—
Alex tells
Hugo that they should steal a computer from the school. Hugo is a little scared
about the idea at first but gives in. Francisco shows up at the pool hall and
asks why Hugo and Alex look so happy. Hugo tell him that he is no longer at
student so he has nothing to say to him. Francisco tells Alex that he will tell
Adriana what’s he’s been up to. Hugo yells at Francisco not to threaten Alex
and Alex tells Hugo that everything is ok. The ignore Francisco and continue
their game. At home Fercho is trying to get his homework done. Harrison wakes
up and tells Fercho he wants to play. Fercho asks him if he is hungry and
Harrison replies yes. He sits Harrison at the table with paper and crayons, and
starts making him food. Harrison gets up and colors on Fercho’s homework.
Fercho catches him and is upset and tells Harrison to leave. Harrison tells him
that he drew a picture of him and Fercho. Fercho smiles. Adriana and Ana Maria
are talking and Ana Maria tells Adriana that Francisco is worried about Alex
getting into trouble. Adriana gets upset hat Francisco is getting involved an
lashes out at Ana Maria. Ana Maria tells Adriana to tell Francisco how she
feels and to keep her out of it. Adriana feel sorry and asks Ana Maria to stay.
Ana Maria walks off anyway. Fercho calls the number that Ana Maria gave him and
briefly talks to the lady on the line about being hard to take care of his
brother and go to school. He hangs up a little sad. Adriana is in Alex’s room
and tells him that she is so proud of him for taking on responsibility and
being a good student. Adriana then says that she is going to bed and as soon as
she leaves Alex get up and starts packing a bag of clothing. Gaby, Kike and
Magdalena show up at Fercho’s house to take him somewhere. Fercho decides to leave
Harrison there because they will only be gone for an hour. Gaby tells him that
it’s not safe but Fercho tells her that Harrison will be fine. Gaby and Fercho
tell him to stay there and do not answer the door for anyone. They leave. Ana
Maria and Francisco are talking and he asks her to talk to Adriana about Alex’s
behavior and the people he is getting involved with. Ana Maria refuses to be
the messenger and tells him that they need to work it out. Harrison is watching
TV when the lights go out. HE gets scared and leaves the house calling for
Fercho and his mom. She finally stops an sits on the street sad and someone
comes up and places a hand on him. Fercho, Kike and Magdalena arrive back at
Fercho’s and notice that Harrison is gone. Fercho and them leave to find him.
Francisco shows up at Adriana’s house and tells her that he saw Alex leaving
her apartment with Hugo. Adriana doesn’t believe him say she just got done
talking to Alex in his room. They argue and finally Adriana goes into Alex’s
room to see. She is surprised to find that Alex is not there. Francisco gets
worried and tells her that they need to find him before something happens.
Fercho. Magdalena and Kike look everywhere for Harrison. Fercho gets upset.
Magdalena tells him maybe he is with someone he knows. Fercho tells her that
his mom is dead and there is no one who would take acre of him. Francisco and
Adriana run into them and ask have they seen Hugo. They reply no and Fercho
runs off saying he has to find his brother. At the school, Alex and Hugo
attempt to open a door but hide as security walks by. The chavos arrive back at
Fercho’s to find Harrison sitting at the table easting. Fercho is happy and
asks how he got there. Ana Maria walks out and tells him that she found
Harrison on the street. Magdalena and Kike leave. Ana Maria tells Fercho that
he needs to take better care of his brother. She tells them to was their hands
because she made dinner for them. At the School, Hugo and Alex get ready to
leave with the computers when security shows up. They drop them and run. The
security guards chase after them and shoots at the boys. They both fall but one
gets up and leaves. At the Hospital, Don Eze is met by Francisco who got a call
from Blanca saying that Hugo was shot. Don Eze tells him that Hugo is in
serious condition and he may not make it. He also tells Francisco that there
were 2 men and he doesn’t know who the second one is yet. Alex arrives home and
Adriana lays into him for betraying her. Alex breaks down and tells Adriana
everything. She is stunned. She tells him that he is going to school tomorrow
and will explain everything to Don Eze. Alex pleads with her that he doesn’t
ever want to go back to that school again. Francisco goes to see Hugo in his
rooms and pleads with a sleeping Hugo to fight for his live. Hugo wakes up and
tells Francisco that she knows he is going to die. Hugo is trying to talk but
is gasping for breath. Francisco tells him he is not going to die, he will
live. He begins to cry. Hugo asks who will take acre of his friends when he is
gone and Francisco tells him he will take care of the because he isn’t going
anywhere. Hugo gasps for a breath and then stops breathing. Francisco cries
over him. Hugo’s parents arrive too late and become emotional. His mother is
crying hysterically and shaking him to wake up. Even his father breaks down and
cries over Hugo. The next day at School, Don Eze announces to the students that
Hugo died yesterday. Everyone is shocked and hurt. Carlos is highly upset and
goes into a corner. With a knife in his hands he eyes Adriana. Blanca and
Adriana cry over Hugo’s death and when Blanca leaves the room for a moment.
Adriana tries to call Alex. The teachers all attend a meeting and are told that
the other accomplice is a student. They are told to be careful because he could
be armed and dangerous. Adriana is worried and says that it’s only a little boy
and he couldn’t possibly do anything to hurt anyone. Francisco asks Adriana
about Alex and hints that he thinks Alex was involved. Adriana tells him that
it’s not possible. Alex sees the news reports at home and becomes scared. He
begins to pack clothing and takes a pistol out of the drawer and leaves. Ana
and Francisco talk with the class to deal with everything. Marce makes a smart
comment that sends Magdalena, Fercho and Carlos against her. They all feel like
they had lost a brother and that nobody understands. Adriana goes home to see
Alex and discover that he is not home. She becomes worried and starts looking
for him. Outside the chavos talk about Hugo’s death. Carlos tells them that he
holds Alex completely responsible and that she wants to find him and hurt him.
Magdalena and Fercho agree. Kike and Gaby try to talk them out of it but they
refuse and leave in search of Alex.
Friday
2/21—
Alex is
walking with his friend and he tells him that he is feeling guilty about
everything that happened. His friend tells him that he should give himself up.
Alex tells him he is not going to do that and that’s why he left his house, so
he wouldn’t get caught. Adriana is calling all of Alex’s friends to find out if
they’ve seen him. Don Eze is talking with Carlos and Fercho in his office. He
is accusing them of being involved in the robbery. Carlos and Fercho get in
Done Eze’s face and tells him that they had nothing to do with it. Adriana
frantically explains to Francisco that she can’t seem to find Alex anywhere.
Francisco tells her that she has to face the fact that Alex has problems. She
doesn’t want the police getting involved and asks for Francisco’s help. Adriana
also asks if Don Eze knows about Alex’s involvement and Francisco tells her
that Carlos and Fercho are talking to him right now. Carlos is so upset about
Hugo death that he tells Don Eze that Alex was responsible for the entire
incident. Don Eze cannot believe it. He asks Blanca to go get Adriana for him.
Blanca find Adriana and tells her that Don Eze would like to see her right
away. Adriana is talking with him and he asks her if she knew that Alex was
with Hugo last night. She tells him yes. Don Eze is surprised because he never
thought of Alex as a delinquent. Adriana is offended by what Don Eze says and
states that Alex is not a delinquent. The police officer who is listening in
tells them that they need to find Alex right away and ask her if she know where
he is. She tells them no. Don Eze keep on pushing Adriana about Alex being a
bad kid and Adriana becomes livid at that and begins to fight with Don Eze.
Francisco removes her from Don Eze’s office before anything can happen. Kike,
Magdalena, Fercho and Carlos decide to go look for Alex. Marce and Gaby try to
persuade them not to but the group feel that must get revenge for Hugo’s death.
After they leave Ana Maria asks Marce and Gaby where the others went. Alex is
at a restaurant with his friend. Alex is a little worried and asks his friend
to go with him to get some money from his house. As Alex picks up his backpack
the pistol slides out and his friend sees it. His friend tells Alex that he is
going to use the bathroom and instead calls the school and tells Adriana that
he is with Alex and that they are heading back to her house. Adriana is so
happy and tells Francisco that she must leave right away to catch up with Alex
before the police do. Francisco reminds Adriana that this would be a good time
to turn him in and get him some help. Adriana is upset that Francisco would
suggest that and she tells him that she will go with or without him. The chavos
search the street for Alex. Gaby and Marce talks with Francisco and Ana Maria
and tell that Carlos threaten to hurt Alex for what happened to Hugo. Francisco
asks them where they went and they say Adriana’s apartment. That night Alex and
his friend are leaving Adriana’s apartment by going through the woods. The run
into the chavos and Alex tries to run but they are surrounded. He begins to run
up the hill and Carlos stops him by kicking him in the chest. Carlos pulls out
a knife and is about to cut him but Magdalena pushes him out of the way and
punches Alex. All the chavos jump in and begin to beat him. Adriana shows up
and saves him. She picks up his bag and the pistol drops out of it. Adriana
asks him where he got it and Alex tells her from Gonzalo. Alex cries and asks
that Adriana forgive him and not make him go to jail. By this time Francisco
and the police have shown up. Carlos tells them that Alex is to blame for
Hugo’s death. Alex denies it saying that Hugo was his friend. Magdalena calls
him a liar. The police say that they have to take Alex away and Adriana doesn’t
fight it. That night all the chavos are dressed in black and hug and console
each other. Ana Maria is trying to get a hold of Francisco and finds out that
he is with Adriana. Francisco is at Adriana’s house consoling her in light of
what happened. The phone rings and when Adriana picks it up she hears Ana Maria
on the other line. Ana asks if Francisco is over there and Adriana says yes,
and asks her if she wants to speak with him. Ana tells her no that she will
talk with him tomorrow. She gets off the phone disappointed. Kike walks Magdalena
home and she asks him to come inside. Fercho walks Gaby home and she tells him
that he could stay there for a couple of days. Carlos wanders the streets alone
and cries about loosing his friend. The next day is Hugo’s funeral. Everyone
walks down to the burial sight crying and distraught. Kike and Fercho help
Hugo’s parents carry the coffin. They bury him and each person bends down, lays
a white rose on the coffin and say their goodbyes. Everyone leaves and Hugo’s
family are the only ones left. Carlos approaches and when he tries to say good
bye he breaks down again. Hugo’s father approaches his mother and tells her he
is to blame for what happened to Hugo. He tells her she shouldn’t have ever
pushed Hugo to work. He begs for her forgiveness and promises to be a better
person for his family. They all embrace and then Hugo’s spirit comes and joins
their hug. Later the chavos are all talking with Francisco and he tells them
that they should put all bad thins behind them and become better friends to one
another. They decide to make a pact. Carlos sees them and is a little scared
about joining them at first. Hugo’s spirit shows up again and Carlos and Hugo
join them as they all put their hands together. TWO MONTHS LATER……They are back
at the school and while outside the kids see police bombard the school grounds
and they run. Alex talks with his mom about being let off on the weapons
charge. He decides that he is going to do better. Francisco is talking with Don
Eze about the drug deals that are going on at the school. He explains to
Francisco that he will not tolerate drugs being distributed on school grounds
and he believes that Carlos is the one involved with them. Adriana shows up at
the school and is greeted by a lawyer. He asks for a few minutes of her time.
Adriana tells him that she has to go teach a class right now and the lawyer
tells her it’s about Alex. Adriana talks with him and finds out that Gonzalo
wants to take full custody of Alex because he believes that Adriana is an unfit
parent.
