Alejandro/Alex - esposo de Diana. ama con todo sus fuerzos. quiere tener un hijo. licenciado. villano. "es un hombre que tiene serios conflictos con su esposa, quien en ocasiones no lo comprende por su actitud tan arrebatada”. se enamora de Mónica y, otra vez, está decepcionado. se quedo sin Diana (Sabine Moussier), ni Sonia (Karla Álvarez), pero en el último capítulo de su historia parece encontrar a su media naranja, una atractiva mujer llamada Diana (in the park with his three girls, twins by Sonia and another girl by Diana).

Chupa? - they typical drunk street person who makes eyes at Maclovio, is befriended by Concha. turned to drink when deceived by husband. in final episode, appears as a new woman (clothes, teeth, etc.) determined to fight for her children.

Concha - una mujer agresiva, neurótica, amargada e inconforme con lo que tiene. esposa de Maclovio. trabaja por Alejandro y Diana. madre de Ricardo. abuses Maclovio but is devastated when he leaves her for Guadalupe. in the end, changes into a new woman with a new man.

Concepción -

Diana - esposa de Alejandro. finge que lo ama intensamente. se casó por interes. se enamora de Pablo a primer visto. then falls for Pedro, a model. becomes a prostitute to pay for her mother’s surgery. tries, and fails, to reconcile with Alejandro. gets pregnant by him. has a baby girl. no man in her life at the end.

Edmundo - novio de Paola. parece un buen muchacho pero abusa de ella y culpa a su hermano gemelo Ramón. ends up in an insane asylum.

Florinda -

Francisco - hermano de Javier y Roberto. sacerdote. has hated, and avoided, his Javier for years because Javier destroyed his life by seducing his novia. in the end, forgives Javier.

Guadalupe - neighbor of Concha and Maclovio. falls for Maclovio and, finally, becomes his lover. but he cheats on her with Carmen and later admits he doesn’t love her.

Helena - hermana de Ramiro. very small role.

Humberto - secretaria y jefe de Jorge. father of ?. becomes Ivette’s lover. fires him when Jorge accuses him of forcing Ivette to become his lover. fired when his son’s drug involvement is discovered. threatens Javier’s family but finally reconciles with him.

Isabel -

Ivette - beautiful young woman who is tired of having doors slammed in her face. determined to succeed, even if it means become the lover of an important figure in the government, to wit, Jorge. gave up her son for adoption 7 years before. becomes Jorge’s lover, then Humberto’s. lies to Jorge that Humberto forced her to become his lover. finally tells Jorge the truth. falls for Esteban then learns he was lying and is married. makes a fool of herself at the wedding of Montserrrat and Jorge, later apologizes. ends up alone.

Javier - esposo de Yolanda, padre de Maria Rosa y Jessica. casado por 17 años. amante de Mónica y padre de su hijo Javiercito hace 6 años. mujeriego who tells one and all that he loves Yolanda but deceives her first with Mónica and then with Joana. marries Joana and then deceives her by having sex with Yolanda. swears he loves both Joana and Yolanda. ends up with Yolanda and swears to be faithful.

Javiercito - hijo de Javier y Mónica. small role. shuffled between Yolanda and Joana and Catalina after Mónica’s death. in real life would be emotionally scarred for life.

Jessica - hija de Yolanda y Ramiro. raised by Javier as his daughter. hermana de María Rosa. enamorada de Armando al principio. vergonzada de su madre. hates her father Javier when she learns of his infidelity. turns to drugs (ecstasy). se quedó como pareja de César.

Joana - hija de lic. Ernesto Siera. left him when a young teenager after her mother died. Returns after 14 years (age 20) after an unhappy love affair. supposedly hates all unfaithful men because her mother died of a heart attack when she found her husband in their bed with another woman and because her own husband cheated on her with another man. Nevertheless, she falls for Javier! and marries him. leaves him when she discovers he was unfaithful with Yolanda. reconciles with her father. se embarazó de Javier pero no logró su proposito de mantenerlo a su lado. returns pregnant when she hears that Yolanda died. but Yolanda didn’t and Joana leaves Javier again.

Maclovio - un hombre pobre y con muchos conflictos. su hijo mayor murió hace dos años. esposo de Concha. padre de Ricardo. seems faithful at first but then starts cheating, first with ? (one night stand), then with Guadalupe, then with Carmen.

Manriquez -

Maria Rosa - hija menor de Yolanda y Javier. falls in love with Ricardo. assume they remain a couple at the end but nothing definite

Maru - trabaja con Carla por Jorge y Cecilia. enamorada de César. replaces Paola as the model in the advertisements César is responsible for. is in love with him but finally accepts that he doesn’t love her. becomes engaged to the producer of her telenovela in final episode.

Mónica - amante de Javier y madre de su hijo Javiercito. was engaged to Esteban when she met Javier. becomes Alex’s lover for a while but never really stops loving Javier. dies when she miscarries Alex’s baby.

Monserrat (Montsie) - madre de Sonia. viuda de Octavio, un bigamist. was attracted to Jorge when both were happily married; nothing came of it. gives him a job after he is fired by Humberto and becomes his lover. leaves Jorge when she discovers he is living with Ivette. later forgives and marries him. una mujer muy segura de sí misma, que se dedica al servicio público y que hará pareja con don Jorge.

Paola -hija maltratada de su padrastro Sebastian. hermana de ___________, ______________quiere casarse con Edmundo para escaparse de su casa infernal. then falls for César. engañada y violada por uno de los gemelos infernales, ex duros y directos, los Brenan, lo que sin duda es una auténtica pesadilla. Ramón, pretending to be Edmundo, romances her and she falls for him so Edmundo, pretending to be Ramón, rapes her. in the end, Ramón wants to marry her but she decides that she isn’t yet ready for marriage.

Pablo - gigolo who sets his eyes on Diana. ran through his inheritance and bankrupted his company. amigo de Sergio. kicks her out when he discovers she has a new lover, Pedro. turns up again in novela as a drug dealer and procurer of young girls for Demetrio. may or may not have raped Jessica when she was drugged. killed by somebody in the family/friends of Jessica but we never learn who.

Paulina? - second wife of Ernesto. jefe de Joana. divorces him when she meets Joana and learns that Ernesto deceived his first wife. very small role.

Pedro - modelo. otro amante de Diana. tries to help her but doesn’t love her. small role.

Ramiro - el primer hombre que engañó a Yolanda y padre de su hija mayor Jessica. parece un poco loco. tries to win back both Jessica (which is easy because he gives her everything) and Yolanda. ends up marrying Yolanda, then tries to kill her when she tells him she made a mistake.

Ramón - hermano gemelo de Edmundo. plans vengeance against Paola when Edmundo is badly injured in an accident after her rejection but falls in love with her. framed for the rape of Paola by his twin Edmundo. at the end, still waiting for her to decide whether or not she wants to marry him.

Ricardo - el hijo del portero Maclovio haciéndose pasar por millonario. jailed for theft. falls for Jessica and Maria Rosa. convinced he is unworthy of the latter, he returns to crime. gets involved with drugs but family changes its attitude toward him after Pablo’s death. is Maria Rosa’s partner at her 15th birthday party. no resolution to the romance.
