Una terrible tragedia pone fin al viaje de placer de un grupo de amigos. María oye un disparo, encuentra a su amiga Patricia muerta y, en su confusión, imprudentemente recoge el arma. María es culpada del asesinato y condenada a cadena perpetua. Su esposo Esteban, un importante hombre de negocios, no cree en su inocencia; se divorcia de ella al volver a México, compra el silencio de quienes fueron con ellos al viaje, y dice a sus hijos que su madre murió en un accidente.
Veinte años después, María es puesta en libertad por buena conducta y regresa a México en busca de venganza. Está decidida a descubrir al verdadero culpable y enfrentar a Esteban, a quien ahora detesta por haberla abandonado a su suerte. Pero lo que más desea es recuperar a sus dos hijos, Héctor y Estrella. A terrible tragedy puts an end to a group of friends' pleasure voyage. Maria hears a gunshot, and finds her friend Patricia dead, and, within her confusion, she picks up the gun. Maria is found guilty of murder and is sentenced to life in jail. Her husband, Esteban, an important business man, doesn't believe in her innocence. When he goes back to Mexico, he divorces her, buys the silence of everyone whom was with them on the trip, and tells his sons that their mother died in an accident. Twenty years later, Maria is put in liberty due to good conduct and goes back to Mexico in search of vengeance. She is decided to find out the real killer and upfront Esteban, whom she now hates because he abandoned her at her own risk. But what she most wishes is to have her son and daughter, Hector and Estrella, back. The first thing that Maria does when she arrives is that she cites everyone who was with her on the trip: Esteban; Servando, one of his associates; Demetrio, the company's lawyer; Daniela, wife of Demetrio; Bruno, the other associate; Fabiola, Bruno's wife; and Carmela and Alba, Esteban's two aunts. Everyone is surprised when they see Maria, and Maria puts in them the doubt and fear when she informs them that throughout twenty years, Patricia's real killer has lived in between them. Maria remarries Esteban so that she can have the love of her sons back, but this will not result because they believe her to be a stepmother that has come to take the place of their mother that they believe dead, and whom they adore due to a portrait of another woman. Plus, Maria has to deal with the intrigues of Esteban's aunts and his associates, mainly Fabiola, whom has always been in love with Esteban and hates Maria. Plus, Maria finds out that Esteban has a third son, Angel, of which Esteban doesn't want to say who his mother is. Angel is a sick young man and insecure, and Maria accepts him immediately and treats him with love.

#1 - On a stormy night Esteban San
Roman (Cesar Evora) stares at a portrait of a woman saying it has been 20 years
of loneliness and lies. Maria (Victoria Ruffo) who is in prison says it's been
20 years that she hasn't seen her children, is dead in life and 20 years of
bitterness and loneliness. Esteban talks to the portrait telling it that he has
paid homage to a stranger they all call Monsterrat who is nothing to him
because his wife was Maria. The guard (Marianna Karr) tells Maria she has to go
back to her cell when she sees a picture of Esteban and says she would have
killed for him also. An angry Maria says he's a coward. Esteban asks his aunt
Carmela (Margarita Isabel) for his aunt Alba (Jaqueline Andere). She arrives at
the church and asks Fr. Belisario (Joaquin Cordero) if he will officiate the
mass of 'Monsterrat's' death and he says he can't celebrate a mass for the dead
when that person is alive. Maria tells the guard that she believes her children
might think she's dead. At the San Roman home Carmela tells Estrella (Ana
Layevska), Hector (Mauricio Aspe) and Angel (Miguel Angel Biaggio) that their
father's in the studio but wants to be alone. Fabiola (Sabine Moussier) and her
husband Bruno (Rene Casados) dread going to the service but he reminds her that
he's Esteban's partner and she reminds him that on that fateful trip they took
over 20 years ago Patrcia (Monsterrat Olivier) was murdered and Maria is
serving a life sentence for killing her. Demetrio (Guillermo Garcia Cantu)
wonders why Esteban hasn't told his children the truth. His wife Daniela
(Cecilia Gabriela) says that Hector is so impulsive and he tells her that
Estrella is spoiled and Angel is sickly and that all three do have one thing in
common, they don't know what they want in life. Maria asks the guard to help
her sell the jewerly and she asks her if she loves her husband and she tells
her that she doesn't even remember anymore. Daniela tells her that what makes
her so sad is the son that Patricia left behind, Leonel (Eduardo Capetillo).
Esteban asks Alba about her visit to the priest. Esteban reminds his aunt that
he divorced Maria when she went to prison and she tells him that to the world
his wife is dead. Maria doesn't like the idea of a cell-mate. She's rude to
Vivian (Michelle Vieth) as she tries her best to be courteous to her. Leonel
runs into Servando (Lorenzo de Rodas) who is a very greedy and cheap man.
Vivian tells Maria she's there for three years and she's shocked to learn that
she's been there for twenty years and a lifetime to go. Servando doesn't want to
talk to Leonel about Esteban's 'late' wife. Lupita (Mariana Rios) informs
Leonel that she has sent Servando his check and that he has a dinner date at
the San Roman home. Esteban tells Estrella to turn the music down. Esteban
tells Alba that he loves Leonel like a son since he's taken care of him since
his parent's died. She asks him if it's to clear his guilt because it was Maria
that killed Patricia and he remains quiet. Maria dreams of her trial and when
Esteban abandoned her. Soccorro (Ana Martin) tells her daughter Lupita that her
husband Davinci (Arturo Garcia Tenorio) is always betting with his friend El
Pulpo (Carlos Bonavides) and tells her that when he gets home he's sleeping in
the bathtub. El Pulpo tells his friend that he wished Lupita was his daughter-in-law.
Greco (Jose Luis Resendez) arrives home with flowers for his mother Soccorro
and their business. Servando wonders about Leonel's questioning as he tells the
San Roman's about the encounter and they evade talking about Monsterrat.
Esteban gets a call from Ana Rosa. Estrella and Hector comment that they will
never accept a stepmother. Maria cries for her children. Hector sees Esteban
and Ana Rosa (Martha Julia Luna) kissing. Hector runs out and Leonel tells him
he's being an infantil and that his father has a right to live his life. Hector
doesn't agree and he drives off. Ana Rosa tells Esteban to make a decision,
marry her or she'll leave. She asks him to let her attend the mass but he tells
her not to. In Xochimilxo, Padre Belisario gives money to El Pulpo and Davinci
to buy him a bar of silver. In Aruba, Vivian tells Maria that she might be free
one day but she says she doubts it. She defends herself saying she didn't kill
Patricia. In Mexico Ana Rosa tells her aunt Daniela that she's going to marry
Esteban as Demetrio tells her to beware of Alba because she's not going to
allow it. Esteban tells Alba not to interfere in his life and tells her he's
marrying Ana Rosa. Vivian tells Maria to confide in her and she tells her she
has no reason why Patricia was killed and learned she was pregnant when she
died. She tells her she was Esteban's secretary when she met him and that Alba
always looked down on her because she was poor and that all she cares about is
money. Everyone arrives at the service for Monsterrat as Leonel tells Esteban
he doesn't remember his mother. Estrella makes fun of Servando asking him for
money so she can buy him a new suit because he's been using the same one for
the last 20 years. Davinci and El Pulpo visit La Duquesa (Irma Serrano).
Everyone's surprised to see Ana Rosa arrive at the service as Maria tells
Vivian she suspects of everyone who was on the trip. Estrella cries to her
mother's picture as Maria wonders if her daughter is happy and looking at the
portrait she says she's so unhappy. Esteban says his three children are the
most important to him as Maria tells Vivian she has two children. Fabiola
threatens to tell Esteban's children the truth if he marries Ana Rosa. He tells
her if he does he will kill her. 'Like you killed Patricia and your wife Maria
is the one serving the life sentence'.

#2 - Esteban can't believe what
Fabiola just acused him of as Maria cries telling Vvian she can't forget.
Esteabn tells Fabiola that he loved Maria and she asks him why he dovorced her
and he tells her he did for his childre, he didn't want them to know that thir
mother was in prison threfore he gave up his love and his life for them. Maria
tells Vivian that her love for Esteban has turned to rancor and that her only
her children matter to her. Esteban says he's lonely when Fabiola asks him who
Angel's mother is. Angel talks to Hector. Maria remembers Hector being stubborn
but stong-willed. Esteban denies to talk about Angel's origin and tells Fabiana
to leave. She reminds him that Maria always claimed her innocence and he tells
her he would never kill anyone.She asks him if he loves Ana rosa and he tells
her that he'll never love anyone like he loved Maria. She tells him they can be
happy again and he begs her to leave. Fabiola tells him anyone of them could be
the real assasin. Maria recalls that fateful night and the mistake she made
when she picked up the gun and that a hotel employee saw her with it in her
hand. Alba tells Carmela she doesn't like change. Carmela tells her sister that
she hopes Maria will forgive them one day. Estaban asks Ana Rosa why she appeared
at the memorial service. Fabiola asks Leonel if he remembers his mothers but he
says he doesn't. Hector's happy that Ana Rosa won't stay to eat with them.
Greco tells Lupita that he's afraid he'll begin to stutter again. He asks his
sister if she's in love and he tells her he doesn't believe he'll ever fall in
love. Esteabn finds Estrella crying at her mother's picture and is surprised
when she tells him she wants to talk to him. Carmela frets over Angel. Estrella
tells her father she's never asked her if anyone is interested in her since she
was 8 years old and he tells her it's not because he doesn't care, it's because
he's respecteed her privacy. He asks her if he's been a bad father and she hugs
him saying she is the rare one. Esteban cosnsoles his daughter and she tells
him she doesn't recall anything about her mother. Maria wonders who really
killed Patricia. Socorro wonders where her husband is as he sneaks into the
house and she asks him for money and then pulls his ears. Carlos (Sergio Mayer)
arrives home much to El Pulpo's happiness. Vivian tells Maria that she's
innocent of the robbery charges when Maria's lawyer appears and she tells her
that he has appealed her case 12 times and all those years she's been turned
down. Carlos sees Ana Rosa when he sees her. Luciano (Archy Lanfranco) tells
Maria to sign the document and she tells her they won't set her free and he
tells her not to give up hope. Estaban's children tell him they're not going to
accept Ana Rosa or any woman as their stepmother. Ana Rosa tells Carlos she's
marrying Esteban and to leave her alone. Esteban tells Angel to never be
ashamed to say he's his son and that he's proud of all his children. Daniel
slaps Ana Rosa when she sees her leaving Carlos' place. Alba tells Esteban that
he did the right thing as he doubts what he did saying he should have done
things differently. Maria tells Vivian that being in jail for so long has made
her forget there's no tomorrow. Maria asks Vivian to help her in her jewelry
business. Esteban informs Fabiola not to tell Leonel anything. When he learns
that Fabiola is with Leonel he goes to his office andas Fabiola asks Leonel if
he's ever asked himself why Esteban has protected him. Esteban confesses to
Leonel that his mother was murdered.

#3 - Leonel tells Esteban he doesn't
feel good and decides to go home. He tells him he's going with him and he gives
him a condition, he's going to have to tell him the whole story. Daniela tells
Ana Rosa that she knows her other side and tells her to stay away from Carlos.
She also denies to tell her anything that happened at the dinner. Esteban tells
Leonel that a thief entered his mother's room and killed her when she surprised
her and is now serving a life sentence. He tells him his father died soon after
they returned from the trip and that's when he took him in. Vivian asks Maria
if there's a way to escape and she tells her there's two ways to get out of
prison, be set free or die. Leonel swears at his mother's killer and asks
Esteban for her name but he tells him he forgot it. Lupita takes flowers to Fr.
Belisario. In Taxco Davinci convinces El Pulpo to buy lottery tickets with the
money the priest gave them and they lose. Estrella asks Alba why she's so mean
to Carmela. Esteban argues with Servando over his diabetes and then tells him
that he had to tell Leonel about how his mother really died but didn't mention
Maria's name. Servando tells him that he thinks Fabiola had something to do
with the crime and Esteban questions him why he thinks that. Fabiola learns
what Esteban told Leonel. Estrella arrives at her father's office and makes fun
of Servando and then asks her father for two teachers, one for yoga and one for
biotechnics. Maria tells Vivian that she'll never love again. Fabiola threatens
to tell Leonel that Maria killed Patricia if Estaban marries Ana Rosa. Alba
gets after Carmela for disobeying her. Maria thinks of when Esteban swore he
loved her and that nothing would separate them as he thinks of her. Hector
visits Leonel and invites him out but he tells him that he's nostalgic when he
thinks about his mother. Lupita hires her brother Greco to be Estrella's
teacher. Fr. Belisario asks La Duquesa for her help in the first communion of
the poor children in the neighborhood and she promises to throw a big party.
Maria's surprised when the guard tells her that her lawyer is there to see her.
Carlos keeps following Ana Rosa. Greco meets Estrella and her aunts as they
wonder who the young man is. Alba tells Carmela that Maria will never be set
free. Leonel meets Carlos and he tells her he's there to see Lupita. Estrella
makes Greco nervous and she kisses him. Esteban tells Ana Rosa he's going to
announce their engagement to his family. Maria is taken to the front of the
warden and is completely shocked and caught off guard when he tells her she's
free.

#4 - Maria can't believe she's free
and thanks God. The warden asks her if she's fine and crying she says she's
happy to be free and soon will be able to see things she hasn't seen in a long
time. Greco doesn't know what to think of Estrella as she decides to take a
swim. Luciano is anxious to learn what the tribunal decided when Maria runs to
him and hugs him thanking him for everything he did for her as he thinks out
loud that he wished he could tell her how much he loves her. Hector plays in a
polo match. Greco tells Estrella he's not going to put up with her attitude and
storms off. Maria says goodbye to Vivian as she wonders if her children will accept
her. Lupita stops Hector from entering Esteban's office. Estrells feels left
out as Carmela tells her they love all three the same. She tells her she favors
Angel more and she cries for her mother. Maria vows revenge on Esteban as Ana
Rosa tells him she's his future. Leonel yells at Hector telling him not to
compare their mother's deaths because his was murdered. Maria leaves the prison
and thanks Luciano. Hector and Leonel call a truce and make an agreement.
Carlos visits Ana Rosa and kisses her. Esteban tells Hector he's proud he's
working for him as he tells him of the talk he had with Leonel. Maria tells
Luciano that she saved all the money from the last 20 years and it's more than
she thought. She then tells him she wants to stay at the same hotel and the
same room where Patricia was killed and see if she can remember something about
that night. He tells her to forget the past but she tells him she can't. Ana
Rosa gives money to Carlos and tells him to go away. Maria arrives at the hotel
and recalls how Esteban abandoned her and swears he's going to pay for it. She
dreams of the day she'll see her children again. Alba tells Esteban that his
children are against him getting married. Maria enters the room and faints when
she thinks back to that night. Esteban tells Alba that Fabiola threaten him to
tell his children the truth if he married Ana Rosa and she becomes worried. She
reminds him that he left Fabiola to marry Maria and that her revenge could be
anything. She tells him she knows what it's like to be rejected so be careful
with of a woman scorned. She then swears at the man she once loved. Luciano
tells Maria she's beautiful when she smiles and begs her to stay with him and
tells her not to return to Mexico. Greco thinks of the kiss that Estrella gave
him as she cries playing her violin. Maria tells Luciano she has to see her
children. Ana Rosa asks Daniela for information on Esteban's 'dead' wife so she
can defend herself and she tells her to be careful of Alba and she promises
that she's not going to let her walk over her. Leonel talks to his mother as he
swears at her killer. Maria wonders how her children and Esteban will react
when they see her. Soccorro worries about her children as the police run of
Davinci and El Pulpo from the park. Alba manipulates Hector into asking his
father what is the news he wants to relay to them. They're shocked when he
tells them he's going to announce his engagement. Maria cries for her children.
Hector tells Esteban that if he marries Ana Rosa he and his siblings will leave
his house. Angry Esteban tells them if that's what they want they can leave.
Esteban cries in front of the portrait saying he should have never lied in the
first place. Alba tells her nephews and niece to tell their father not to marry
Ana Rosa when she arrives. While putting her things away Maria realizes that
the real killer was hiding in the closet watching her.

#5 - Carmela invites Ana Rosa to sit
with them and everyone leaves the table except for Alba when Esteban arrives.
Demetrio tells Bruno that Esteba is marrying Ana Rosa. Bruno tells him they
have to find a way to stop the wedding. Angel tells his family to let everyone
make up their own minds as Estrella worries that Angel will support their
father. Demetrio tells Bruno that Esteban has to pay their silence whether he
gets married or not. Socorro asks Lupita why Carlos looked for her. Lupita and
Greco admire their parents. Venturina (Patricia Reyes Spindola) who is mute
signals to Servando that she needs money for food. She signals to him that he's
stingy and tells him that if he doesn't give her any money she won't feed him.
He gives her 20 pesos and tells her it has to last her for 15 days that are
left in the month. Maria calls Luciano and tells him to go into the closet and
see was she did. She tells him the real assasin had time to escape when she was
escorted from the room. Angel tells Carmela he wished his mother was with him
and she tells him that she loves him like his mother. Maria says she's going to
put fear in the real killer when she tells them what she learned. Alba gets
after Carmela for telling Angel that she loves him like his mother and then
insults her and slaps her. Carlos gets after his father and gives him money but
tells him not to bet it. Davinci lies to Soccorro and tells her he was robbed.
Greco overhears his mother say they are in need of money. Ana Rosa visits Alba.
Servando tells Esteabn that the doctor has ordered a biopsy. He orders him to
have tests done and offers to pay for them and he agrees. Alba laughs at Ana
Rosa and tells her if she marries Esteban she'll be met with silence and that
she would have to fill some really big shoes. Servando asks Esteban if he ever
thinks of Maria and he says he does everyday but that he's taken the advice he
gave him years ago, to go on with his life and to take care of his children.
Greco visits Esteban. Hector asks Fr. Belisario why he's never officiated a
service for his mother and he offers him advice on what to do in repect to his
father. Daniela tells Ana Rosa she's close to getting what she wants. Maria
gets her papers to travel to Mexico. Luciano confesses his love for Maria and
kisses her. Maria asks her lawyer if that was payment for services rendered and
then tells him she'll never love again. He reiterates that he loves her and
that he's serious. Greco asks Esteban for his job back and he agrees telling
him that if Estrella doesn't accept him it's her decision. Hector asks for
guidance. Maria tells Luciano that she's not a free woman only a free mother
and she has two things she needs to take care of: reunite with her children and
find the real murderer. She asks him if he can help Vivian and she thanks him.
Greco tells Estrella that the only reason he returned is because of his mother
and that he'll humiliate himself for her. She tells her of her loss and he
understands her a little more and hugs her. Esteban gives Ana Rosa her
engagement ring and they make love. Alba tells Daniela that her niece is only
after Esteban's fortune. Maria has a lot of anger toward Servando for lying at
the trial. Esteban answers the door at Ana Rosa's and she shocked to see Carlos
standing at her door..

Daniela pues esta no le quiere hacer caso sobre acceptar a Ana Rosa como esposa
de esteban.Daniela pide que le de una oportunidad. Carmela dice que ella si
esta dispuesta a darle una oportunidad Alba la regaña y le dice que no se meta.
Alba le
dice le dice que no es cosa que ellas[las tias] la accepten sino tmb los hijos
y que ellos ya han dicho que no a una madrastra. Le dice que Ana Rosa nunca
sera bienvenida en esa casa.
Carlos va saliendo del edificio donde vive
Ana Rosa y se encuentra con Fabiola. Esta ve el libro que el trae y tiene el
nombre de Ana Rosa y le pregunta si la conoce y el dice que no y ella le dice
que como no si ahi esta su nombre ademas que ahi vive.
Greco visita y habla con el padre
Belisario. El padre le pregunta si fue a hablar con Estrella y el dijo que si,
que necesita dinnero. Tmb le commenta que no es como todos piensan y que el ya
vio una parte de ella que muchos no conocen. El le pide que tenga cuidado que
no quiere que salga lastimado.
Angel va a las empresas San Roman, esta en
la officina de Leonel y Leonel le dice que que se le ofrece y Angel dice que
nada que solo queria hablar con su papa y Leonel le dice que salio y no le dijo
a donde hiba. Angel esta x irse y Leonel le pregunto que en que vino Angel dijo
que en taxi Leonel le pregunta si tiene dinnero para regresarse y Angel dice
que si que tiene $50 pesos y Leonel se rie y le dice xk tiene ese despege con
el dinnero. Angel le dice que si tubiera su salud sentiria lo mismo. Y que no
solo es por el dinnero sino x todo. Leonel le dice que el doc le a dado muchas
esperansas para re-establecerse pronto pero Angel dice que no lo cree
niciquiera sabe manejar. Angel le dice que en su casa se siente bien que es su
paraiso y le pregunta a Leonel que que es para el el paraiso y Leonel dice que
estar con sus papas.
Maria esta en el mar... dice que ya quier ver
a sus hijos de estar serca de ellos y que ellos le digan mama
Maria le dice a Luciano que siente la
responsabilidad de buscar al hijo de Patricia
Le menciona sobre el asesinato de su mama.
Angel le dice que se parecen pues los dos cresieron sin su mama. Leonel dice
que nunca a sentido un odio como el que siente x la asesina de su mama.
Fabiola y Carlos salen a comer. El le dice
que le encantaria ser su amigo pero ella sabiendo lo que enverdad quiere le
enseña su anillo y le dice que esta casada. Ella dice tenerse que ir y el le
dice si se volveran a ver.
Greco le cuenta a su mama que ya tiene otra
vez trabajo como maestro de Estrella San Roman. Ella le dice que no que no la
soportaba y el le dice que si pero que conocio a una Estrella pues que si le cayo
bien.. osea que conocio la otra cara de Estrella.. que es linda.
Maria visita a Vivian y le da dinnero.
Vivian le dice que quiere salir de la carcel y Maria le dice que confie en su
abogado[Luciano] que la ayudara a salir.
Esteban esta en el salon con Alba y le dice
que lo mejor sera que se vaya a vivir a otro lugar con Ana Rosa y Alba le dice
que "que" que si estaria dispuesta de abandonarlos. Le dice algo
sobre casarse sin amor, que si sigue enamorado de Maria y el dice que no que su
amor por ella murio cuando la condenaron. Alba se va dejando a Esteban pensando
sobre su amor.
Leonel le pregunta a Bruno si conocio a la
asesina de su amdre y el dice que si pero juro no decir nada sobre ello.
Fabiola le commenta a Ana Rosa sobre su
encuentro con Carlos. Sabe que no es vendedor de libros sino algo mas. Que si
abre la boca muchas malas cosas pueden salir a la luz.
Leonel habla con Esteban.. le dice le
pregunto a Bruno sobre la asesina y que el habia jurado no decir nada y Esteban
dice que es mejor asi. Pero Leonel le dice que lo a estado pensando y quiere
saber todos los detalles sobre el asesinato y la asesina. Que quiere ir a verla
y escupirle en la cara x lo que hiso y Esteban lo intenta convencer que deje
las cosas asi que para que atormentarse mas con lo sucedido.
El padre Belisario visita a Esteban...
hablan sobre la mentira sobre la mama de los muchachos. El padre le dice que
ahora que se case necesitara decirle a sus hijos sobre su madre pero Esteban
dice que eso nunca.
Estrella visita a Leonel y lo invita a
salir.
Carlos visita a Lupita y la invita a ella a
salir a un lugar "pispiris nice"
Hector empaka sus cosas mientras Carmela
intenta convenserlo que no lo haga. Hector le dice que su papa puede acostarse con
cual mujer quiera pero nunca quedra/permitara que traiga a otra mujer a vivir y
dormir donde su mama.
Carlos y Lupita llegan a un restaurante y
es el mismo que el que estan Estrella y Leonel. Carlos le pregunta que quienes
son y ella le dice que el es Leonel uno de sus jefes y ella la hija de Esteban
San Roman.. Carlos se le queda viendo a Estrella.
Estrella le dice a Leonel que se casaria
con quien se le proponga aunque no lo ame, que si su papa trae a una madrastra
porque no ella a su marido. En eso se les hacerca Carlos a saludarlos;Leonel
pone mala cara; Estrella pone cara de como si se le hubiera occurido algo.
Maria se hace un "make-over"..
con maquillaje,pelo, y todo eso.
Cita a Luciano a un restaurante..el llege
pero no la ve.. luego aparece y queda boca-abierta.

let see Ana Rosa told Esteban that the guy
(Carlos) at the door was a book saleman and she gave him that book she had on
her coffee table abd he left, but I didn't get the impression that Esteban
believed her...
Then Fabiola ran into Carlos down stairs
and kinda got the goods on AR she even went up to her apartment and told her
what happened and showed her the book and told her that she was going to keep
the book for future use.
Esteban spoke with the PADRE and told him
the reason he lied all these years was for his Hijos and the Padre advised him
to come clean before he get married again, and he said NO WAY.
Leonel spoke with BRUNO regarding his
mother's death and Bruno wouldn't tell him any more info just that he knew who
killed his mother.
Then LEONEL and ESTEBAN talked again and he
told Esteban that wanted to know who the killer was and Esteban told him NO.
Estrella met CARLOS when he was a the same
place she and LEONEL were for dinner, he seemed intriged once he found out that
she was Esteban's daughter.
Hector decided to move out and packed his
bags and went into say goodbye to Esteban who just stared at him
And the BIG end was MARIA looking BEAUTIFUL
when she met with Luiciano for dinner, She is ready to head home to MEXICO look
out all MARIA WILL BE RETURNING TONIGHT.
I thinks that about it.... the ending with MARIA LOOKING ALL GLAM WAS THE BEST...

takes Estrella for a walk through Xochimilco. A man saves Maria from being run
over by a car. Alba and Carmela plan to get rid of Maria permanently. Ana Rosa
confronts Maria and demands that she stay away from Esteban because he is
wildly, passionately in love with her. Maria runs Ana Rosa out of her
department.
Padre Belisario threatens to go to the
police if Carlos goes near Lupita again. Esteban arrives at Ana Rosa’s
department while she is kissing Demetrio. Carlos and Greco come to blows when
Carlos learns that Greco went out with Estrella. Maria decides that she will
remarry Esteban so she can be the step-mother of her own children.
Maria brings Gerardo Salgado to a dinner at
Esteban’s house. Everyone is shocked. Esteban and Leonel are jealous when they
see Maria on the arm of Gerardo. Alba and Carmela advise Ana Rosa to get
pregnant in order to trap Esteban. Leonel confronts Esteban, swearing by his
mother that he will fight for Maria’s love. Demetrio threatens Alba and
Carmela, telling them that he will tell Ángel his secret if they don’t give him
money. Alba assures Carmela that if Demetrio tells Angel she will kill him.
Gerardo confesses his love to Maria and
kisses her. Esteban sees them, but they don’t see him. Servando gives the detective
more information so he can find his brother, Rufino. Padre Belisario confesses
to Maria that Esteban is still in love with her. Maria says that she can’t love
someone she can’t trust. Leonel hits Héctor when Héctor makes some comment

llama mujerzuela a María. Greco lleva a Estrella a dar un paseo por Xochimilco.
Un hombre salva a María de ser atropellada por un auto. Alba y Carmela planean
eliminar definitivamente a María. Ana Rosa enfrenta a María y le exige se aleje
de Esteban pues ella lo tiene atrapado por el deseo y la pasión, María la corre
de su departamento. El padre Belisario amenaza a Carlos con denunciarlo con la

to get Maria’s stock away from her. Maria has a disagreeable confrontation with
Estrella and Héctor, but Esteban defends Maria. Estrella calls Maria a whore.
Greco takes Estrella for a walk through Xochimilco. A man saves Maria from
being run over by a car. Alba and Carmela plan to get rid of Maria permanently.
Ana Rosa confronts Maria and demands that she stay away from Esteban because he
is wildly, passionately in love with her. Maria runs Ana Rosa out of her
department.
Padre Belisario threatens to go to the
police if Carlos goes near Lupita again. Esteban arrives at Ana Rosa’s department
while she is kissing Demetrio. Carlos and Greco come to blows when Carlos
learns that Greco went out with Estrella. Maria decides that she will remarry
Esteban so she can be the step-mother of her own children.
Maria brings Gerardo Salgado to a

Ok well, Maria went to the house to look
for the letter that Servando left Esteban, he gave her the combo cuz he's still
in the hospital. Anyway, she found it but of course she spent like another
veinte minutos going on and on about I'll finally know who the killer is, omg
etc etc etc...Anyway by the time she left she ran into Alba who snatched the
letter away and threw it into the fire to burn!!! Maria and her argue and
Leonel walks in and asks what's going on. Maria speaks of the letter and Alba
dares her to say what she was looking for in that letter. She's silent and
Leonel says he doesn't need her to tell him anything she doens't want to etc...
whatever, I'd be dying with curiosity! Anyway, Carmela is with Esteban, they
talk about Angel. Esteban says he knows one of them is his mom but Carmela says
she'll never tell him and that no one will ever know even him so quit asking.
He asks if he can at least know who the father is, if Angel knows him if he
knows he has a son etc... Carmela tells him to stop asking questions. Alba
comes in and says she found Maria in his safe with a letter and that she burned
it. Esteban is furious. She says she did it to protect him and their family.
Maria goes to her apt. and she's talking with Vivian and the lawyer dude.
Vivian asks about Patricia and Maria goes into flashback mode to their trip in
Aruba, she thought she was a good person but really didn't know her, she
tormented everybody. Later Alba and Carmela are in the cafeteria and they also
recall Patricia and how much they hated her. Flashback to the trip by the pool,
Alba hates being called Albita cuz that's what Patty called her. She's saying
she hates her etc and Patty comes up to them and says and what, what will you
do etc. They argue and Patty says she can't do anything to her because she
knows one of them is Angels' mom and that Demetrio's the dad, she knows all
about him being born in Spain, that there was another baby that died. Both were
preg by Demetrio, she wants money, lots of it for silence. They both threaten
her. Flash to Daniela's and Demetrios, he is sitting alone in the dark, Daniela
asks what the hell's going on with him, he says he can't stop thinking about
Patiricia. Flashback to Aruba, Daniela's admiring a necklace and Patty taunts
her that all she can do is look becuz her loser husband won't be able to buy it
for her. Daniela says she won't listen to her and Paty says she's so pathetic
and weak she's always crying and asks if she's forgotten about her sister's
tragic death, Daniela breaks down and says she is an awful person and she
wishes she was dead. Demetrio flashes back to the same jewelry store where
Patricia makes him buy her the necklace Daniela liked. He says he has no money
but Patty says he has no choice or else she'll tell Esteban about the fraud he
commited at the company and also tell Daniela about his fling with both Alba
and Carmela. Servando's maid is with the Padre, they talk about her not having
anywhere to go, he says that she'll stay there for the time being til the will
is read etc. He gives her money and leaves. She starts cleaning up the house
and when she picks up a book a letter falls out! It looked like it had
Esteban's name on it! Perhaps Servando made a copy knowing his
"friends" very well. Socorro is going in for surgery. Her children,
her husband and Maria are all with her encouraging her etc.. And that's pretty much it...

whom we don't see..except that he or she is wearing black tries to run Maria
over..she is saved by a passerby...
-Greco takes the upset Estrellita out..she
seems happy in his company...he takes her to see the special Madonna who means
so much to him..she seems touched..he takes her home and asks to see her
again..to which she agrees...
- Meanwhile, Carlos is waiting for her and
starts manhandling her again and forcibly kissed her..they are interrupted by
Esteban who tells Carlos he wants to talk to him..get to know his family.
Carlos pulls out his lie again about being all alone and Esteban offers him a
job to give him an oportunidad..and to keep an eye on him..
-Alba, her sister, and all the other
members of the imfamous alliance all seem to have gone out on some errand or
another..everyone acts very mysteriously and we are all wondering who it could
have been who tried to kill Maria.
- Sadly, we find out that Maria Rosa has
been abused by her uncle for years.
- Maria Rosa pays a visit to Maria (who has
finally gotten her furniture)..the usual threats are made..
-Pulpo is thrown out of his room for not
paying his rent..
- THe priest pays Carlos a visit after
finding out he tried to rape Carlos' sister..

Tuesday - May 2nd Chapter 31
Maria is in the cabin and trips on the
chimney and finds that a brick is loose where a book is hidden. When she picks
it up she realizes that it’s Patricia’s diary. Maria says finally I’ll be able
to know the truth. She finds a picture of Arturo, Patricia, and Leonel and
says, I swear Paty I am going to find our killer and make them pay for what
they did to you and with that I am going to get my children back and have them
love me.
Esteban is at Demetrio and Daniela’s house
celebrating that in less then a month he is going to marry Ana Rosa. Maria
begins to read the diary and remembers hearing Patricia say that Esteban loved
her and that she always wanted him. Maria realizes that Patricia was not as
good a she thought, and was in truth evil.
At the San Roman House Alba asks Carmela
why she took money out of the bank without asking her. Carmela tells Alba that
it is both of their money; Alba tells her that she is the one who administers
the money and that she was using that money for Angel’s birthday. Alba tells
Carmela that the present better be good since she took out a large amount.
Maria is in the bedroom and says that she has to continue to read despite the
fact that she can’t believe what she is reading. Maria reads that she never
wanted a child from Arturo and that the only reason why she had one was for
money. Patricia never loved Leonel and that Maria swears that she will never
reveal that to Leonel.
Leonel is having dinner with Lupita and he
thanks her for having dinner with him on such an important date. Lupita asks
him if he still misses his mother. Leonel tells her that he loves her just as
much as she loves him (Dream on Caterpillar Lip Boy). Maria continues to read
the diary and realizes that half of the diary is missing. She thinks that it
doesn’t matter with this I can find out what everyone’s motives were to kill
Patricia.
Esteban and the Tias are having breakfast
and Esteban asks where Hector is. Carmela tells him that he went out with some
girl Maribel and she has no idea if it is his girlfriend, and doesn’t know her
social status. At that moment Hector comes in and asks what is going on.
Esteban tells him that the Tias were talking about him. Carmela tells him that
before he gets married he needs to present this girl to the rest of the family
and that she can’t be poor or just anyone. Hector tells them that he doesn’t
know if he will ever get married. Angel and Estrella come in and greet everyone
and sit down at the table. I think that Estrella has some kind of hissy fit
(could not understand completely). Esteban tells them that in less then a month
he is going to marry Ana Rosa. No one is too happy and responds
When Esteban leaves for the office Alba
says that Ana Rosa is better then Maria that way they can control Ana Rosa. We
will make her think that we support her and then we will all hate her. Ana Rosa
is at Daniela’s house and says that she can’t believe that in less then a month
she will be the Sra. San Roman and she will be the owner of the Empresas San
Roman and that as soon as she gets a hold of the checking accounts she will
give Daniela a big check for all of her help. Daniela tells her that they have
had economic problems that and that for the time being Demetrio got a hold of
money which helped them.
Angel and Hector both go the company and
Angel asks Hector what he thinks of what Esteban said. Angel tells him I know
that you prefer Ana Rosa to Maria. When they get to the office Angel asks
Hector if he is in love with Maribel. Hector tells him no that he likes her but
that she is not the woman for him. Angel asks him how he knows when its love.
Hector tells him that when you feel something in the pit of your stomach then you
know its love.
Maria looks for the other half of the diary
but can’t find it. She says it does not matter because I will make everyone
believe that I know everything to discover the killer. She goes inside the
house and calls the company and asks Lupita to put him through to Esteban
immediately. Maria tells Esteban to have everyone come up to the cabin. Alba
and Carmela both say no, as well as Demetrio and Daniela. Bruno says no but
Fabiola says that will go to see what everything is about. Servando says no
Fabiola goes to Daniela’s house and tells
her that they have to go to see what Maria wants. Fabi tells Daniela that they
have to talk Demetrio and Bruno into it. Estrella is in the pool with Maggie
and tells her that her father is going to marry Ana Rosa and now I’m going to
have a step-mother. Viv calls Lupita and doesn’t find her but end up talking to
the new secretary She tells her that she was calling Lupita to find out where
to go in Mexico because since it is so big she has no idea where to go.
Greco’s parents say that a detective has
been looking for Pulpo again. At the time Vivian comes in asks about something
and Greco asks how she got there. Vivian tells her that since Mexico is so big
she has no idea where she is going. Greco offers to take Vivian to where she is
going and they head off. Hector thinks of Vivian and asks Lupita to call
Maria’s apartment because he has some important documents for her to sign.
Lupita tells him that Maria is not home that she is at the cabin. He tells her
it doesn’t matter that her friend Vivian can get the papers. Hector thinks that
he loves the name Vivian. Ana Rosa invites Esteban to her apartment and thinks
about what Leonel told her that Maria was still in love with Esteban. Esteban
comes over and finds her dressed in a wedding outfit. They kiss and she invites
him into the Jacuzzi. Esteban’s cell phone rings and guess who its Maria. Maria
asks him where he is and with who. Maria asks Ana Rosa ask who it is and
Esteban confirms that he is with Ana Rosa and that in less then a month they
are getting married. Maria tell him to think again because the one that he is
going to marry is her so get use to it.
Wednesday - May4th /Chapter 32
Starts with Maria telling Esteban that he
is going to marry her in a week so start telling Ana Rosa. Maria hangs up and
Ana Rosa asks who it was and he tells her that it was Maria. Socorro, Davinci
and Greco tell Pulpo to go hide at the Durquesa’s house so that the detective
doesn’t find him.
The detective asks Greco’s parents where he
a find Pulpo and they tell him they don’t know anyone by that name. The
detective gives Greco a card and tells him to give him a call when Pulpo shows
up. Davinci asks why they are looking for Pulpo and the detective tells him it
is a private matter.
Greco tells his parents that the detective
is looking for Pulpo not the police therefore it has to be for something good.
Maria thinks about what she can do to get everyone to come to the cabin. She
calls Fabiola and tells her something that surprises her, mentioning that
Patricia’s closet was the prefect place for the killer to hide. Fabiola tells
her that there is no way she can know that. They hang up and Maria knows that
they will all show up soon enough.
Ana Rose thanks Esteban for the afternoon they
just spent together. Esteban leaves and Ana Rosa thinks that it has been a
month she stopped taking the pill. He cell phone rings and its Alba telling him

Vivian gets back to Greco’s house and
thanks him for his help. Mexico is indeed a beautiful place just like Maria
said. She asks Socorro if she can recommend a plant to give to her friend Maria
Fernandez. Socorro asks Vivian where she knows Maria from. Vivian tells her from
a place where we only had each other to depend on.
Socorro invites Vivian over for dinner and
Viv accepts. Maria plans something with a woman and the woman tells her she can
count on her and her uncle. The aunts and Esteban are all on the way to the cabin.
Carmela is apparently video taping everything and Alba tells her to shut the
thing off and Carmela complains that the battery is dying. Alba makes Esteban
stop the car and Carmela says that she just saw Patricia. Alba tells her I told
you to stop drinking. They get down from the car and Carmela swears that she
saw Patricia and smells the perfume that Patricia wore. They get back in the
car and continue driving.
Vivian is having dinner with Socorro when
Lupita arrives surprised asks what she is doing there. Socorro asks how they
know each other and Lupita tells her that Vivian is a friend of Maria’s and
Vivian says go figure your brother is Greco. Davinci excuses himself and says
he is going to see Pulpo. Lupita confesses to Vivian that she does not like
Maria, because she is after Leonel. Vivian assures her that Maria doesn’t want
anything with Leonel and that she cares for him as a friend because she knew
his parents. Lupita tells Vivian that she is sure that Maria hides something.
Vivian tells her that Maria is not a bad person and is only trying to get to
the truth and when she gets it she will reveal her secret.
The Duquesa reads the tarots cards for
Pulpo and tells him that he sees a loved one dying. He looks at Davinci and asks
him if he is dying. Davinci tells him I hope not. The cards tell him that the
person who will die will leave him a lot of money. Pulpo wonders who it is
because he doesn’t know anyone. Vivian says her goodbyes and Greco offers to
take her home. Outside is Estrella who begins to cry at seeing Greco with
another girl. Estrella says that all men are alike and none of them deserve her
tears. Hector arrives and tells her that Vivian is just like Maria.
Esteban and the gang arrive at the cabin
and ask Maria why she wanted them all there. She tells them that she wants them
all there, so when Demetrio and Daniela arrive she tells them she knows who the
killer is and says she is going to identify them. They tell her she is lying.
Alba gets up and say that there is going to be storm, just then the lights go
out.
Vivian thinks that a nice guy is Greco but
the one that I like is Hector, Maria’s son. Everyone in the cabin goes to sleep
and Maria goes to her room to pray.
Thursday - May5th - Chapter 33
Episode begins with Maria in her room
praying to the medal of the Virgin Mary for help. Ana Rosa remembers the
afternoon she spent with Esteban. She gets up and starts to feel bad and runs
to the bathroom. In the cabin they are all in the living room and Alba asks where
Esteban went and isn’t it dangerous. Fabiola reminds them that he used to come
here all the time and that he was friends with Arturo and Patricia. At which
point Servando comes in and tells them that they will not be able to leave
because the storm has washed out the roads. They can’t believe that they are
trapped there.
Maria meets with Diana Golden’s character
and tells her make sure no one sees you and thanks for all of her help. She
tells her that things are to go forward and the only one who suspects anything
is Esteban. They say goodbye and tell each other to take care. Fabiola says
that she is going to go out for a walk. Carmela goes out to a storage shed and
the door closes. She turns around and it’s Demetrio who she tells him, that he
scared her. He tells her, to hurry up and say what she has to tell him. She
tells him that she needs the money back that she lent him, because Carmela told
Alba that the money was for Angel’s birthday present. Demetrio tells her that
he needs time to get the money, because I already spent it. Demetrio leaves
before anyone can suspect anything and the door closes again this time it’s
locked. Carmela starts crying for help and a hand appears in the window wearing
Patricia’s ring. Fabiola overhears Carmela’s crying and lets her out.
Maria and Esteban are in the forest and he
tells her that he is not going to tolerate her threats and tells her to stop
calling him especially his cell phone and especially when he is with Ana Rosa.
He tells her that she calls to bother him when he is with Ana Rosa. Maria tells
him that it is not her intention to bother him, but she reminds him that they
are going to get married in a week. Esteban laughs and tells her that she never
ceases to amaze him. He tell her that Leonel told him that she was still in
love with him. Maria tells him she just told Leonel that to push him away from
her, and tells Esteban that she stopped loving him a long time ago *I hope she
believes that because no one else does). Esteban tells her that he is happy that
is the case, because just the idea that she still loves him bothers him. Maria
asks him if he is sure that he really feels nothing for her. He tells her of
course not. Maria asks him are you sure your feel nothing for me even having me
close to you? He tells her nothing. Maria asks what if I kiss you? She kisses
him and of course he pulls her close. Maria then pulls away and tells him, well
I don’t believe you, and the proof is that you just kissed me back
passionately. You still love me and you don’t want to admit it. He tries to
deny it, and she tells him we will see. Maria leaves and stops beside a tree
and says to herself that she can’t believe that she kissed him and that being
in his arms again she felt that love she had for him.
Ana Rosa sees that doctor and confirms that
she is prego. She can’t believe it because its been a month since she was with
Carlos and can’t believe that the baby is Carlos’ since this baby was suppose
to be Esteban’s
Everyone is in the cabin living room and
Carmela says that she saw the ring that Patricia wore, and Maria says that it
can’t be and that it has to be the ghost that is scaring her. Alba tells her
that can’t be true because the killer is her not Carmela. Esteban tells Maria
that he doesn’t believe that there is ghost, and that he is sure it’s some plan
that she has engineered.
Estrella goes to the Empresas San Roman and
goes into Hector’s office and asks Carlos where her brother is. They go look
for Hector and as they go down the hallway they run into Vivian, who is talking
to Lupita and Alma.
Lupita introduces Vivian to Estrella.
Vivian tells her that Maria has told her a lot about her. Estrella turns to
Carlos and tells him what a shame this girl has no thought for what she says.
Estrella and Carlos leave and Lupita tells Vivian not to worry that she is that
way with everyone.
In the cabin they all ask Mari why she sent
for them. She tells them that she wants the real killer to confess. Demetrio
asks if she is going to continue with that again. You’re the killer remember,
Servando saw you with the gun when you were leaving Patricia’s room. She tells
them that is a lie and Servando knows that. Servando tells her to be quite and
Esteban asks what Maria means with that. Alba tells her that God punished her
for being a bad mother. Maria tells that is not true and Esteban defends Maria.
Alba asks if now Esteban is going to defend her and Maria says that she doesn’t
need anyone to defend her because she can take care of herself.
Maria goes running to her room where she has
a picture of her children and looks at the photo and says that she loves them.
Esteban appears behind her and she tells him, you know I love my children. He
tells her he knows that and she says that if it wasn’t for what happened she
would have never have left her children. She shows him the picture and tells
him, look at my children, they loved me when they were little they hate me now.
Esteban asks for forgiveness for what Alba said. She tells him that she has
other proof that shows her innocence. Esteban tells her to stop and tells her
that he thinks she killed Patricia because she was jealous of her.
Maria says that she will that she did not
kill Patricia and that justice will be served. Esteban tells her to leave
everything alone and that she already paid 20 years in jail. Maria tells him
that was because he did not help her. She tells him, that he buried her along
with Patricia that day. You didn’t give me the opportunity to prove my
innocence and you took my children away. He tells her that he had no choice,
because he was not going to tell his children that their mother was a convicted
killer. Maria tells him that she will get her children regardless of what it
costs. He tells her not to count on him.
ESTRELLA, LEONEL, HECTOR, are wondering
where everyone is because no one has called to say they are Ok or where they
are. Esteban asks Servando what Maria wanted him to say and Servando says that
he is too tired and he is going to bed. Alba knocks on Maria’s bedroom and says
that they have to talk. Alba tells her to leave them alone, and that she was
not the one who took care of her children so don’t come back here and expect to
pick where she left off. Maria asks Alba what she is going to do if she does
not do what she wants, kill her like she did Patricia? Maria tells her that she
(alba) has not paid for her crimes. That she got involved with Demetrio shortly
after he married Daniela. Alba tries to deny it and wants to know where Maria
got that from. Alba demands to know who Maria has told and picks up a pair of
scissors and tells her that she will kill her if she tells anyone.
Friday - May 6th -Chapter 34
Alba puts
the scissors down as if nothing and asks Maria how she found out. Maria tells
her that she found Patricia’s diary and that she wrote everything down there.
Alba tells Maria that it is very dangerous to know other people’s secrets. Alba
leaves the room.
Leonel says good night to Lupita, Viv, and
Alma and the three gals go to the movies. Carlos asks Hector for permission to
go out with Estrella and Hector says OK as long as she is home early.
Everyone is at the dinning room table and
Maria picks up a book and asks everyone if they know what that is? Someone says
a book. Oh No, No says Maria, it’s Patricia’s diary and all of your lives are written
about in here. Someone asks if she is going to blackmail them with it. Of
course says Maria and if you want I will be happy to read it out loud. Ok,
let’s see, Servando. He begs Maria not to read it. Bruno, it says here that....
Bruno tells her that means nothing. It means nothing asks Maria? I lost my
freedom and children of course it means something.
Estrella goes to eat with Carlos after they
go to the movie and he tells her that she is acting strange. She tells him that
she is not in the mood for anything. He tells her that he is going to take her
to a special place. She agrees and he takes her to his apartment. Estrella asks
if this is his idea of fun or special. He tells her to relax and that they are
going to have a good time and they start drinking.
Vivian invites Lupita and Alma for coffee
at her apartment. Lupita doesn’t want to but agrees to go. Leonel is in his
apartment and is looking at a picture of his mother and tells the picture you
were killed and taken away from me 20 years ago. I will never forgive the woman
who did that to you.
Back at the cabin Maria tells them that she
will reveal their secrets at the appropriate time. Maria retires to her room
and wonders whether Esteban ever really cheated on her with Patricia. Esteban
remembers when the slut of Patricia threw herself at him and asked him if he
thought he was attractive. He tells her yes, but that he is in love with his
wife and Arthur is my best friend. Esteban gets up and goes to the window and
sees Diana on the swing. He does downstairs quickly to see and Maria sees that
someone is going towards Diana and that it is Esteban.
When Estrella is already drunk Carlos tells
her enough and that he doesn’t want her brother or father to think he did
anything to her. Estrella tells him that she makes decisions over her life, she
doesn’t are what anyone else has to say and that she wants to continue
drinking. Carlos laughs and gives another drink. Carlos confesses that he is in
love with her and asks what happened with Greco. She tells him that he cheated
on her and that she did not come here to talk about that and they start to
kiss.
Fabiola goes to Esteban’s room and the
light is off and starts to tell him that she loves him and takes off her
clothes and gets in bed with him. At which point the lights turn on and guess
who comes in, Maria. Fabiola discovers that there was no one in bed but only
pillows. Fabiola asks Maria what she is doing there and Maria tells her that
she has always known that she is in love with Esteban. She tells Fabi that
Esteban even gave Bruno money so that he would marry her. Fabiola slaps Maria
and Maria slaps her back and tells Fabi that she is not the naïve girl she was
before.
Lupita’s
cell phone rings and its Greco who says that he is near Maria’s apartment and
wants to know if she needs a ride. Alma says that your brother deserves to be
happy but he will not be happy with Estrella.
Fabiola finds Esteban in the woods and
tries to kiss him and he tells her to leave him alone. Of course she says you
would prefer for it to be Ana Rosa or Maria, why not me? Someone approaches and
it’s Daniela who can’t believe what she sees.
Esteban leaves and Fabiola swears that he
is going to pay for rejecting her. Daniela starts to cry and wonders why he
pays attention to Fabiola and not her who has always loved him. She swears that
they are both going to pay for it.
Oh No, Estrella had sex with Carlos. He is
laughing and she is fast asleep. Alba and Demetrio find themselves in the shed
and Alba tells her that Maria knows everything; she knows that we were lovers.
He asks how she knew and Alba tells him the idiot of Patricia wrote it in her
diary. Alba tells him that he has to tell Daniela and he says that he will
never do that. OK, says Alba then you have to kill Maria.
Carlos kisses Estrella’s back and she wakes
up and asks what happened and why she has no clothes on and what she is doing
there. He tells her that they now have to get married. He tells her that she
came on to him and started to make love to him. He gets up and she is
traumatized.
After dropping Alma off at home. Lupita and
Carlos start talking and she asks him if he thinks that things will resolve
themselves with Estrella now that she has gone out with Carlos. He tells her he
is going to forget Estrella just like she should Leonel. Back at Carlos’s pad,
Carlos offers to take Estrella home and talk to her father and brother. She
tells him, don’t even think about it. He tells her that once they get married
this will mean nothing. She tells him that just because this happened it means
nothing and doesn’t mean they will get married. She tells him that she is
taking a taxi home alone.
Greco tells Lupita that he can’t believe
that Estrella has been playing with him. Lupita tells him that she is a girl
who does not deserve him. Carlos says that he is going to marry Estrella
regardless of what is costs. He thinks back to Estrella and remembers that he
thought of having sex with her but thought better of it because he did not want
to end up in jail; after all she was passed out. But he thinks let me take off
her clothes and let her think that we had sex after all I will belong to the
Familia San Roman.
Maria goes to bed and turns off the lights. The killer goes up the stairs and opens the door to Maria’s room. They have a knife in their hand and they approach the bed, the hand shakes and they are going to kill Maria. That is where the episode ends.

Chapter 35 – Monday May 9th
We continue with the killer going to kill
Maria. She is asleep but wakes up when she hears lightening. She manages to see
that someone is there to hurt her and she start to scream. The killer manages
to get away. She gets up turns on the light and sees that she didn’t lock the
door. Whoever came in left mud prints on the floor and from what she can tell
they had been outside. Carmela goes to her room as wonders where Alba is. Alba
comes in and also asks Carmela where she has been.
Bruno is opening the refrigerator and
Fausto (¿???) and scares him. Faustor tells him that he heard a sound. Fausto
asks Bruno why he has no shoes on and Bruno tells him he didn’t want to make a
mess in the house. Bruno asks where the knives are. Fausto goes to look for one
and realizes that one is missing and wonders who has it.
Daniela goes to her room and find Demetrio
in bed and he asks here where she has been. She says around and says she is
going to change and go to bed. Demetrio gets out of bed as soon as Daniela goes
to the bathroom and takes off the clothes he had on underneath.
In the morning Carmela goes to Maria’s room
to say good morning and Maria tells her to tell the gang that no one can leave
yet because the roads are still flooded. Carmela asks Maria if she has given
any thought to the possibility of Arturo killing Patricia./ No says Maria
Arturo loved her too much. That is what you think says Carmela, I heard them
arguing the night she was killed and they were fighting and swore that he would
kill her.
Socorro goes to see Fr. Belisario at the
church and tells him that they are still trying to find El Pulpo. Fr. Bel asks
who has the detective’s card. Greco says Socorro. Bring it here says Fr. Bel
and we will see if Maria can find out anything about this.
Demetrio runs into Maria and says good
morning and asks how she slept. She tells him that he woke up in a good mood.
Demetrio tells her that Bruno could be the killer because they had a thing
going on and that the scare the Bruno got on his face was from Patricia.
Fabiola goes into her room and finds Bruno
reading the paper and asks him how he got the scare on his face again. He tells
her it does not matter and he begins to think about when he and Patricia were
in bed making out and he runs his hand over his face and touches the scare that
has left him marked for life. He then takes Fabiola’s hand and starts kissing
her and she pushes him away and says they are not going to do anything here
because there are too many people around.
Maria is walking through the forest and
thinks to herself that her plan is working because Carmela and Demetrio are
beginning to turn on everyone else. At which point Alba appears and tells Maria
that the killer could be Servando because Patricia was blackmailing him for a
secret he had.
Davinci goes to see Carlos and asks him to
hide his father. Carlos tells him don’t you remember that to me he is dead.
Sorry I can’t do anything. Davinci tells him but Pulpo is your father, you have
to help him and you can’t let anything happen to him. Carlos tells Davinci to
leave him alone and he gets in his car and leaves.
Pulpo tells the Duquesa that he wants to go
out and she tells him OK as long as he is disguise. Back at the cabin Maria is
in the kitchen and asks Fausto what he made for dinner. Esteban enters and
Maria tells that someone tried to kill her and asks if it was him.
estrella thinks about what Carlos said that
she threw herself on him. There is a knock at the door and Ana Rosa comes in.
What do you want asks Estrella. Well since no one is home, I came to see if you
needed anything says Ana Rosa. I want to be friends says Ana Rosa after all I
will be your step-mother says Ana Rosa. You can leave now says Estrella. Ana
Rosa tells her that she will win her love regardless of what it costs and
Estrella throws her out of the room.
Esteban asks Maria what she is trying to
say or accuse him of. Maria takes him to the room and shows him the footprint
of the person who tried to kill her. Esteban tells her that when he saw someone
on the swing he went downstairs to investigate, but when he got there was no
one there, so I went into the forest to look. Esteban tells Maria he left his
shoes outside to not make a mess. Esteban tells her that he doesn’t believe
anything that she has to say.
Greco thinks about Estrella. Davinci tells
Socorro that Carlos will not do anything to help his father. Carlos tell Hector
that he loves Estrella, but he thinks that she is in love with Greco. Hector
tells Carlos don’t mention that name to me
Esteban remembers Maria asking him if he
tried to kill her. Silly Rabbit! Esteban still loves you.
Daniela tells Maria that dinner is ready
and that she thinks Fabiola killed Patricia because she has always been in love
with Esteban and that when she saw Patricia coming on to Esteban she got
jealous and killed her.
Maggie goes to see Estrella and Estrella
tells her you are my bet friend and I can only tell you this. What asks Maggie.
I had sex with Carlos says Estrella and I don’t remember what happened. Socorro
sees Greco sad and asks what the matter is. He tells her that he is sad because
he misses Estrella. I can’t stop seeing her so Socorro tells him to go find
her. Yes but Lupita told me that she saw her with Carlos. You see says Socorro
I told you that girl was not on your level and that she is only going to make
you suffer.
Maggie tells Estrella you accepted his
invitation. Yeah says Estrella but I didn’t think things would go that far,

went out with Carlos out of spite. Maggie asks her if she knows whether Carlos

out with the Duquesa and was not here.
At the office Leonel tells Hector that he hears
that the roads are flooded to the cabin and they decide to all Esteban. Esteban
tells him they are fine and the hope to get out tomorrow. Leonel asks for Maria
and Esteban says she is fine. See you tomorrow.
Angel is with Alma in his office and she is
writing down something that Angel is saying. When she gets up she bumps into
Angel. She says sorry and Angel asks him to refer to him as tu and she says how
can I do that you are my boss. He invites her for a coffee and she accepts.
Everyone is having dinner when Maria
announces that someone tried to kill me and it is not the first time either.
Fabiola you offered me the glass of wine that had poison in it and that nearly
killed Gerardo. Yeah, but Daniela and Demetrio were also in the kitchen that
night too remember. Esteban says enough and tells Maria to leave this game
alone because he is concerned for her life along with everyone else’s.
OK says Maria then marry me. Please Maria I
have told you lots of times that I will not marry you. The only way I will
leave this alone is if you marry me again. I will throw this diary in the fire,

Episode 36 – Tuesday May 10th
Maria tells Esteban in front of everyone that
if he marries her that she will forget about her revenge and finding Patricia’s
killer, and she will dedicate herself to winning over her children. Esteban
tells her absolutely NO and that he is going to marry Ana Rosa in a month. OK,
you are rejecting my proposal then I am going to ruin all of you because I
won’t stop until I find the killer and says she will continue to read the
diary. Esteban tells everyone to stop looking at him that he is not going to
change his mind (thanks for playing).
Lupita asks Alma if she wants to go out
with Vivian but Alma says no because her family is coming to visit, lying to
Lupita because she is really going out with Angel.
Bruno tells Esteban that he wasted an
opportunity and Carmela tells him to accept Maria’s proposal. Esteban tells
them he is not going to change his mind. Alba tells them that she cannot
believe that they are proposing Esteban to do. Servando says that way Maria
will forget about who the killer is.
Hector asks Leonel why he has never
returned to the cabin. I can’t say Leonel because everything there reminds me
of my mother. Hectors asks him why he has not sold it and Leonel tells him
because I have the hope of one day being able to go in. Hector asks Leonel if
he plans on getting married. Of course says the idiot Leonel, with the only
woman that has ever interested me. Maria. Unfortunately she has no interest in
me but I am determined to do everything I can to win her love and to have her
marry me.
Fabiola tells Maria that its most likely
that Alba and Carmela killed Patricia because they guard the secret of who
Angel’s mother is and Patricia was probably blackmailing them and they decided
to kill her. Maria tells Fabiola that she also had reasons to kill Patricia
since they were both in love with Esteban. If you killed Patricia I will make
sure you pay for it says Maria. Maria leaves Fabiola with her knickers in a
twist and continues walking. Esteban meanwhile wonders whether or no he should
marry Maria again.
Leonel continues arguing with Hector, and
Hector tells him to stay away from that woman Maria. Hector then gets a call
telling him that if cannot find a partner that they are going to give the
business over to someone else. Hector tells them that he is interested and that
he needs time. Leonel asks Hector why he doesn’t ask his father for help. I
can’t say Hector we are not getting along that well at the moment and I would
not dare ask him for it.
Ana Rosa talks to Daniela who tells her
that they don’t know when they will get back. When you get back we are going to
plan my wedding Ana Rosa tells Daniela that she wants a church wedding to
irritate Estrella. I went to visit her and she was rude so I am going to make
her pay. Daniela tells her that it would be best to have the civil ceremony as soon
as possible since Maria poses a big threat to her. Ana Rosa asks what she means
by that and Daniela tells her they will talk when she gets back. Well says Ana
Rosa that if Maria wants Esteban she will have the fight of her life on her
hands.
Bruno approached Maria and scares her and
tells her that he is there to lend his support and that he thinks that Daniel
was the killer since Damemtrio was first married to Daniela’s sister who
suddenly died and a few days later they got engaged. Bruno tells her that there
was something strange with the sister’s death. Patricia by the way about that.
Are you saying that they killed Daniela’s sister asks Maria. Bruno tells her
that he is not accusing anyone, I am just simply telling you want I know. Maria
tells him don’t think that just because you singled out Daniela you are still a
suspect. Furthermore I am tried of all the backstabbing and go tell everyone
that this is the last night in the cabin. Maria leaves and Bruno calls her
stupid and says that no one know what he is capable of.
Ana Rosa calls Esteban asks when he will
get back. He tells her that God willing tomorrow. Ok then we will talk tomorrow
says Ana Rosa. Daniela goes to talk to Esteban and tells him that Ana Rosa
wants a church wedding. He tells her that those are not his plans that he only
wants a civil ceremony.
Carmela asks Alba if it is possible that
Arturo spread Patricia’s ashes around here and that is why the ghost is roaming
around. Alba tells her to stop being stupid. They comment that Patricia was
blackmailing them about revealing who was Angel’s real mother.
Maria is in her room and Servando comes in
and she asks him who he thinks the killer is. Servando tells her its Demetrio
because Patricia was blackmailing him about telling Esteban about a fraud that
he committed at the company. Funny I think it was you says Maria since you
tried to rape Patricia. Yeah says Servando, but that changed when I met you
(PIG). Don’t think I am going to forget to find the killer. Maria asks him if
he saw the real killer and Servando does not respond.
Alma is going to go out with Angel and
Leonel leaves the office and says good bye to both Alma and Lupita. Lupita

furniture. So she decides to leave with Vivian. Hector goes to Estrella’s room
and wants to know why she is sad and Estrella wants to know how you know when

The detective calls to give Demetrio an
update on locating Servando’s step-brother and says they will talk later. Bruno
then comes in and the decide that they are going to somehow keep Servando’s
fortune.
Fabiola tells Bruno that she wants to leave
and a policeman tells them that they should be able to leave tomorrow and they
are doing everything possible to clear the roads. Servando is talking to
Esteban when Fabiola arrives with the news that they should be able to leave tomorrow.
Servando starts to feel bad and says that he continues to feel back that he
will have a helicopter come for him.
Socorro goes to look for Carlos and wants
to know why he is treating his father so badly and takes him to see him at La
Duquesa’s place. When they get there they find Pulpo in disguise and Carlos
wants to know if they brought him here to see this menarche. He insults Pulpo
once again and La Duquesa slaps Carlos a few times (about damn time). Carlos
leaves, and la Duquesa tells him that he should have done that when Carlos was
a boy and Pulpo tells them that they are not at fault why his son hates him.
Vivian and Lupita run into Alma having
dinner with Angel and Vivian asks her if this is her family and wants to know
why she didn’t tell them she was going out with Angel. Alma is really
uncomfortable and leaves. Angel goes after her.
Maria is at the desk and is looking at a
children’s book and Esteban appears behind her and she asks him if she remember
that book. She tells him that they gave that book to Leonel and at that time
she was pregnant with Hector and they begin to talk about the great love they
had for each other. They kiss a little kiss but a kiss none the less.
Ana Rosa gets hit by a bicycle and falls
and starts to have ramps and thinks she cannot loose the baby.
Episode 37 – Wednesday May 11th
The chapter begins with Ana Rosa getting
hit by a guy riding a bike and starts to have cramps and says it would be
better if she lost the baby then quickly changes her mind.
AH The KISS, Maria pulls away and says she
can’t and tells Esteban that they are in a constant struggle, you didn’t leave
me another choice you don’t let me see my children. He tells her it’s the kids
that don’t care for her and that besides there can’t be anything between them.
Esteban leaves and Maria admits that she does enjoy his kisses, but she can’t
think about that she needs to think about her children. Esteban meanwhile
thinks to himself that he cannot think about Maria because he is going to marry
Ana Rosa.
Ana Rosa is taken to the hospital and the
doctor tells her that she needs complete bed rest or she will loose the baby.
Lupita tells Alma to not get her hops up
with Angel beaus he is the boss’s son. At which point Angel, Estrella and
Hector show up at the company. Estrella asks where Carlos is and Lupita tells
him in your brother’s office. She tells her brothers that she will see them
later to go home goes into the office to see Carlos. Carlos asks how she is
doing and she tells him she wants to talk about what happened that night. He
starts to tell her that he is in love with her that it was not his intention to
hurt her. I know that you are a good girl and I am willing to talk to your
father and live up my responsibility. She tells to not even think about talking
to her father and to leave things alone. She leaves and he thinks to himself
that she is not going to ruin his plans.
As the leave the cabin, Maria tells them to
not tell Leonel what kind of woman his mother was and that is she cannot find
the killer in a reasonable time they will all have to meet again.
Pulpo think about how Carlos got mad at him
and decides to go look for him. Both advance and La Duquesa tell him absolutely
not and that it is Carlos who has to apologize to you.
Maria thanks Fausto and Diana for their
help and they tell her to be careful because she is in a lot of Danger. She
tells them she knows but for her children she is capable of everything for
them.
Back at the house San Roman Carmela tells
Alba that it would benefit them for Esteban to marry Maria once again that way
their secret about who Angel’s mother is well kept. She doesn’t care if Maria
is there as long as Angel is protected. Later Alba asks her about Angel’s
birthday gift and Carmela gets nervous and tells her that it has not arrived
and she will give it to Angel on his birthday
Greco goes to see Estrella and Estrella
tells him that she wants to talk to him. He wants to know why she is acting
like she is and why she doesn’t want to see him. She tells him that she saw him
going out with Vivian. He tells her he was just taking Vivian home and that
they are just friends. Estrella tells him she doesn’t believe him. He tells her
that he is in love with her but that she is just playing with him. Estrella tells
him that she is not playing but she has no idea what she feels for him. Greco
kisses her but she remembers what happened with Carlos and pushes him aside and
goes inside the house, leaving poor Greco to wonder what hell happened.
Maria gets home and tells Vivian that
someone tried to kill her, and that she found Patricia’s diary. Vivan tells
Maria to be careful because is capable of doing anything in order to get that
diary.
Carmela calls Demetrio and tells him she
needs the money she lent him, and Alba is asking all kinds of questions
regarding Angel’s gift. Demetrio tells him that at the moment he has not been
able to sell his car. He tells her to go to the bank and get a loan. He has a
friend who is manager of a bank and he can help them. When they hang up Carmela
gets upset and throws the phone.
Estrella is in bed thinking about Greco and
meanwhile Greco is in his bed thinking about Estrella and comes to the
conclusion that is things continue how they are he will have to forget about
Estrella.
Carmela goes to the bank and gets the loan
however Alba will have to co-sign with her and she changes her mind.
Leonel asks Esteban why Maria invited
everyone to the cabin if she wanted to be alone. Esteban does not answer so he
goes to Maria’s office and Maria tells her that she did it to run into Esteban.
Maria tells him that its not that way and she cannot tell him for personal
reasons.
Hector goes into Maria’s office while
Vivian is there and he starts to insult her again and telling to leave them
alone and that they hate her. Vivian gets pissed (I’m glad someone does) and
puts Hector in his place and tells Maria that she needs to put a stop to that
while Maria is crying. Maria tells Vivian that her children hate her. Esteban
comes into Maria’s office and Maria introduces Vivian to Esteban. Vivian tells
Maria that she is going to tell Esteban what he deserves and Maria tells her to
stay out of it. Ok, says Vivian I am only doing it for you. I am out of here
and I will see you at home says Vivian and leaves. Esteban wants to know who
the insolent person is and Maria tells her its her friend. Esteban tells her
that Leonel asked him why they all went to the cabin Maria tells him that he
asked her as well. Esteban asks her if she planned the whole ghost thing and
she tells him Yes because she wanted to find out who the killer is. Esteban
leaves and Maria goes home and is waiting for taxi when Leonel appears and says
he is sorry for his behavior earlier and wants to know why they all went to the
cabin. Maria gives him back the keys to the cabin. He asks if she knew his
mother and therefore must also know who killed her. She tells him that she is
going to tell him the truth and that she has no idea who the killer is and asks
what he would do if he had the killer in front of him. He tells her that he
would tell her how much he hates her. Maria tells him that she would give her
life to find out who the killer is. Leonel asks if she really cared for his
mother and Maria doesn’t say anything. He offers her a ride home and she says
no thanks that she will take a taxi.
Maria gets home and can’t find her keys and
wonders where she left them. She hopes that Vivian is home and calls her over
the intercom and Vivian doesn’t hear her because she has the music going. Maria
takes another taxi and goes somewhere.
Angel asks Alma what happened at the
restaurant and she tells him that he is the boss’ son and she is just a
secretary, leaving Angel confused.
Ana Rosa is choosing the food for the
wedding reception when Daniela tells her that Esteban will not accept a church
wedding. She gets upset and decides to go see Esteban at the company. She tells
Lupita that she is going in to talk to Esteban. Alma asks who she is and Lupita
tells her that is the owner’s girlfriend. Alma tells her that she beautiful but
hateful says Lupita.
Ana Rosa asks Esteban what Maria has for
everyone to drop everything and go to the cabin. He wants to know what Daniela
told her for her to be so upset. She asks him if Maria means anything in his
life. He tells her that Maria is history (present that is), and that the only
thing that matters is that they are getting married in a month. Ana Rosa whines
that she can’t wait to be his wife.
Maria goes to church to talk to Padre
Belisario and tells him that she found Patricia’s diary but that the second
half is missing. She tells him that she thinks the other half has the name of
the killer. She also tells him that in the cabin someone tried to kill her. He
tells her to be careful.
Someone breaks into Maria’s house while
Vivian is conditioning her hair. They go into Maria’s bedroom and when they
hear Vivian come in they hide. After Vivian leaves the killer is desperately
looking for the diary and leaves the room a complete mess. Thank God they
didn’t find the diary.
Hector and Angel arrive home and Hector
mentions that his birthday is approaching and wants know what Angel wants to
do. Nothing special says Angel. Well don’t even think about inviting Maria or
Vivian says Hector. Well it’s my birthday and I can invite anyone I want say
Angel. (what is this 5th grade?)
Padre Belisario is talking to the detective
and asks him why he is looking for Pulpo. I can’t tell you says the detective,
well I can’t tell you where to find him say the Padre.
Maria gets to her apartment, and talks to
Vivian and Vivian offers to make her some coffee while she goes and changes.
Maria goes to her room and sees what happened and call Vivian. Vivian tells her
that it wasn’t her and she has no idea who it was. Maria realizes that someone was
looking for the diary, but could not find it, because Maria had put a phony
cover on it. In the end she decides to put it in the safety deposit box. Vivian
tells Maria to forget everything and that they should leave. Maria of course
tells her no because her children mean everything.
The kids are all talking in the dinning
room and Estrella comments that Ana Rosa will soon be their step mother and
Angel gets up and goes to the portrait and tells it, Mom it will be my birthday
soon and I really miss you.
Servando gets home after someone has tried
to steal the diary. Carmela asks Rebecca where her sister is. She tells Carmela
that she left after you did. Daniela and Demetrio find themselves at the house
entrance and ask each other where they have been. He tells her he was with a
client and she tell she was Ana Rosa.
Esteban is talking to the picture telling
it that he wants to end these lies that are killing him. The doorbell rings and
its Maria and he is surprised to see her.
Maria tells him that someone broke into her
house and he tells her that is the risk she is running. Maria tells him that
her children are worth it. If you think you are going to marry Ana Rosa you are
wrong. She proposes to him again or I tell the kids everything. He tells her
that he doesn’t think she is capable of it. Why not she asks let Hector and
Estrella know the truth, that their father the honorable Esteban San Roman has
lied to them for 20 years and that the woman that they admire so much is not
their mother that I am their mother.
He tells her that she can’t do that and she
says we will see and grabs her arm and tells her to think about she is going to
do. She is going to be sorry and she tells him she is going to do it. At which
point the maid comes in and asks what is going on and Maria tells her to go get
Estrella and Hector. Esteban says OK. The kids appear and they want to know
what that woman is doing in their house. Esteban tell her you got what you
wanted here they are. Maria tells them that she has something really important
to tell them. Estrella tells her, don’t you get it we don’t want anything to do
with you. We don’t care what you have to say. Hector tells her you heard my
sister, we are sick of you and your presence. Maria goes up the stairs and asks
if they really hate her. They insult her some more and she tells them that the
reason she came back, and that she is here because.... Hector cuts her off and
tells her they don’t want to hear what she has to say. He tells her to look at
the picture of his mother that she was a true lady, instead you are just a….
Esteban says he has had enough, and Estrella says fine defend her. Esteban says
that if they are not going to listen to Maria they are going to listen to him.
Maria then tells Esteban that it doesn’t matter. He tells them that they need
to know once and for all. Angel wants to know what and Maria begs him not to
say anything. He then says that he is going to marry Maria. Hector and Estrella
are upset but Esteban and Maria just look at each other and smile.
Episode 38 – Thursday May 12th
Hector and Estrella are both very upset
when Esteban tells them that he is going to marry Maria. What you are not going
to marry Ana Rosa? No, says Esteban I am going to marry Maria it is my decision
and you better respect it.
Hector and estrella tell Maria that she
will never be welcomed in the house. Hector tells her that despite the fact
that she is imposing her presence on them he will never take her into account.
Estrella tells her that if she puts her foot in the house it will be like she
is putting her foot in hell and that they will make her life a living hell
until she leaves.
Maria approaches Estrella and tells her
that the last thing she would do is hurt her. Estrella tells her not to touch
her. Maria falls against the stairs and Hector tells her that the happiness has
left this house when his mother died. Alba tells her that she is not welcomed
Esteban picks up Maria from the floor and
tells them that his decision is made and that he hopes no one feels so offended
that they decide to leave. Hector tells him that he will not give that woman
the satisfaction of leaving her his mother’s house. Estrella agrees with Hector
and Angel says that they should give Maria a chance. They all disagree.
Maria tells the kids that she wants to talk
to them alone. Estrella tells her to stay away from her and Hector laughs and
says don’t even think about it and to not even expect pity from him. They leave
and Angel approaches and tells her its not her fault and leaves.
Alba tells Maria that if she thinks that by
marrying Esteban she has won she is dead wrong. That she is going to completely
loose her children and that her life is going to be a living hell just like
Estrella said.
Maria tells her that will take the
opportunity to just be near her children. Alba tells her that they will never
love her and that once she tells them she is their mother they will hate her
more. Alba tells her that while she is in the house she will never be happy.
Alba and Carmela both leave and Esteban hugs her.
The investigator goes to a store and have
want posters made looking for Pulpo and has them put up. Pulpo’s friends take
them down and go to the Duquesa and Pulpo to let them know.
Ana Rosa is lying down when she starts to
get sharp pains and is taken to the Red Cross and is told she lost the baby.
The doctor does to see Ana Rosa with Daniela and tells Daniela that Ana Rosa
needs lots of rest. Ana Rosa tries to tell Daniela what happens and the Daniela
tells her that the doctor told her she was pregnant. Daniela wants to know why
she was never told her. Ana Rosa tells her it was Carlos’s baby. Daniela goes
starts hitting Ana Rosa telling her that she should have never gotten involved
with Carlos that he was only going to bring them problems. Daniela continues to
hit her calling her names and Ana Rosa tells her to stop hitting her.
Maria tells Esteban that she appreciate him
marrying her so that she could be near her children. Meanwhile the Tias and
Brats are uniting to make Maria’s life a living hell.
The kids go see Esteban and ask him why he
is marrying Maria. He tells them its about time they finally talk to him. He
tell them that he has every right to be happy and they want to know why Maria.
He tells them that he was in love with her many years ago and he wants an
opportunity to be with her. Estrella wants to know if that is why there were
lovers. He tells her that Maria was never his lover. Estrella wants to know if
he loves Maria more then he loved their mother. He tells them that he has never
loved anyone with the same intensity he has loved their mother. Esteban tells
them to let him find his happiness with the person he has chosen.
Carlos sees Estrella leaving her house and
he wanders where the idiot is going and decides to follow her. She goes to talk
to Greco about her father’s Maria. She tells him that she doesn’t want to see
her father with anyone. They end up making up and Greco promises to go see her.
When
Estrella leaves Carlos comes by and tells Greco that he had sex with Estrella.
Greco tells him that he is lying and Carlos tells him that Estrella threw
herself on him. Greco thinks that Estrella deceived him and is really hurt.
Esteban tells Alba that he believes Maria
is innocent since everyone had motive to kill Patricia.
Esteban goes to see Ana Rosa to tell her
that he has canceled the wedding and that he is marrying Maria. Ana Rosa tells
him he cannot do that to her and Daniela who is there tells him that he cannot
do that to her niece. Ana Rosa starts to have an anxiety attack and Esteban
decides to leave.
Vivian asks Maria is she is sure that she
does not love Esteban because when she talks about him her lights up as if she
does.
Hector tells Leonel that Esteban is going
to marry Maria. Leonel gets upset and goes to see Esteban in his office.
Just as he leaves Ana Rosa’s apartment
Esteban call Maria and tells her that he canceled his wedding with Ana Rosa and
they can get married when she wants to .
Servando goes to Padre and tells him that
he knows who killed Patricia and that he wants to confess to him right now.
Episode 39 – Friday May 13th
Servando tells Padre that he knows the name
of the person who killed Patricia. I will tell it in confession. Padre is
shocked and asks Servando if he is sure. Of course I am sure. I wanted to tell
you because my days are counted. Padre asks Servando to tell Maria the truth. I
can’t and tell Padre that he has left a letter for Esteban to open when he
dies. He says that he hopes that he knows how to solve it. What do you mean by
that asks Padre. Well I left it in code says Servando. Servando tells Padre
that now that he knows he cannot tell anyone since it was told in confession.
Father throws his head back and asks Servando to tell the truth and when looks
back at servando he is gone. Padre thinks to himself just like he left me this
secret and I can’t even tell Maria.
Ana Rosa is loosing it because Esteban left
her. He can’t do this to me. She swears to Daniela she is going to kill Maria
if she marries Esteban. Daniela calls Demetrio and tells him that Ana Rosa is
loosing it and tells him to come over.
Leonel throws a tamper tantrum in Esteban’s
office for marrying Maria. How could you do this to me. You told me that you
did not love Maria and you do this to me. I quit and runs out. Esteban chases
him and calls him son. Don’t call me that. You can stay with Maria and I am
going to stay with you treason.
Maria tells Vivian that Esteban told her
that if she wanted to they can get married tomorrow. Vivian tells Maria to
accept and since there is going to be no party Maria thinks about what Vivian
said.
Ana Rosa is in her apartment telling her
tios that Esteban cannot do this to her. Demetrio tells her to calm down. She
continues to get hysterical and he slaps her. Between the two of them they take
her to their house.
Esteban’s cell phone rings and its Maria
who tells him that she thought about it and that they can get married tomorrow.
Servando comes home and tells the maid to not ask him where he has been because
he is not going to tell her. All I can tell you is that I feel much better now
that I have told my secret to someone else.
Daniela tells Demetrio that Ana Rosa is
hysterical because Esteban left her to marry Maria. Demetrio tell her that he
is going to call everyone so that they can put an end to the circus.
Estrella is talking to Maggie in her room
and tells her that she went to see Greco when she found out that her father is
going to marry Maria, and now she is going to be my stepmother. Maggie asks if it
fixed things between them. Estrella wonders where he is as he promised to put a
shirt on and he would come over. Maggie tells her don’t think of yourself as so
important to him. Maggie asks Estrella if she really doesn’t remember what
happened with Carlos. Estrella tells her that she can’t remember a thing. She
says that she knows she was drinking and she thinks nothing happened and that
Carlos is lying. She decides to go see Carlos at the office. Greco is at home
upset over what Carlos told him and thinks to himself that Estrella is not the
girl he thought she was.
Socorro is at the church cleaning and the
Padre tells her thank you for her help and asks her what happened with Pulpo.
Bruno, Fabiola and Servando arrive at
D&D’s and they are informed that Esteban decided not to marry Ana Rosa
because he is going to marry Maria again. They wonder Esteban has lost his
mind.
Angel asks Hector why he told Leonel and
tells him that he should have let their father tell him. Leonel goes to Maria’s
apartment and he starts to insult her telling her that Hector and Estrella were
right in saying she was a bad woman. Maria tells him that he is saying that
because he is angry.
Fabiola says that Maria cannot marry
Esteban, we can’t let it happen. Daniela says she is going to be the Sra San
Roman again and she is going to have more power it will be harder to confront
her. Alba and Carmela come over and explain how things happened. They start
planning how to stop the wedding. Someone asks what if we tell the kids the truth?
We can’t say Alba never! Carmela says what will the kids think of us.
Daniela says that no one cares about her
niece who is in bed. Bruno asks why she is in bed and what she is sick from.
Demetrio says it doesn’t matter. We need a way to stop that wedding. Daniela
says that the only thing that matters to them is money and that she just cares
about Ana Rosa. Alba tells her we know that is not true and you more then
anyone wanted Ana Rosa to marry Esteban. Daniela says that Demetrio has had
some bad luck in business. Bruno says that it even caused Demetrio to commit
fraud at the company. Demetrio denies it and says nothing was proven. Carmela
jumps up and tells Alba to stop talking about Demetrio that way.
Fabiola asks the Tias if their love for Esteban
is so big that they can’t stand to see him married to anyone. Carmela says that
its because he is their nephew. Fabiola says that rumors that Alba was in love
with Esteban are true. Alba slaps Fabiola and says that can only come from a
sick mind. The only hypocrites there are you and Daniela who have always been
in love with Esteban. Daniela denies it and Bruno defend Fabiola and Servando
tells him to lay off the act because everyone knows that Esteban gave him money
to marry Fabiola so that Esteban could get rid of her. Daniela says that Ana
Rosa got so hysterical that she even said she would kill Maria. Fabiola asks if
Ana Rosa is capable and Daniela says Yes if she could get a gun and everyone is
there thinking at the possibility
Pulpo tells the Duquesa that he is leaving
and going far away. Duquesa gives him money and tells him to take it as a loan.
Greco tells his father that he decided to
apply for the scholarship overseas for his Masters. He tells him that he is
going to talk to his mother and he father tells him that he will support him in
his decision.
Leonel is drinking and thinking about what
has happened and Lupita knocks not he door and tells him that she is getting
ready to leave. She asks if he has eaten already and he says no, Ok I will fix
something for you says Lupita. He tells her that she is so good and he tries to
kiss her but has second thoughts. Lupita kisses him anyway.
Vivain has a surprise for Maria. Close your
eyes and Maria wants to know what it is. Don’t open them says Vivian. When she
tells Maria to open her eyes, Maria sees a wedding dress. You should not have
spent your money Maria tells Vivian. I was going to put on whatever. You have
to put this dress so your kids don’t suspect anything. The doorbell rings and
its Luciano. Maria happy to see him gives him a hug just as Esteban come to see
her.

Episode 40 – Monday May 16th
Maria is hugging Luciano and is happy to
see him when she sees Esteban. Esteban is super upset and jealous but excuses
himself and says that he was just there to talk to her. Maria goes to Esteban
and he tells her that she can come to tomorrow to the house with her witnesses.
Maria tells him that her witnesses are Luciano and Vivian. OK says Esteban see
you tomorrow. Luciano asks what she needs a witness for and Maria tells him
that she is going to marry Esteban again. Luciano asks her not to do it but
says that he will support her decision.
Leonel asks Lupita why she kissed him (men
can be so dense sometimes). She doesn’t get the chance to say anything because
Juliana comes in a kisses Leonel and Lupita gets upset and leaves.
Alba says that they can’t do anything at
the moment and tells Carmela that they should better go. Servando decides to
leave as well. Fabiola says that she will not permit that wedding under any
circumstances and she is capable of anything.
Padre, Socorro, Davinci, and Duquesa are
wondering where El Pulpo is.
Bruno says that it would be better to win
Maria’s trust. Fabiola tells him that is impossible. The best thing would be to
tell their kids and Leonel the truth. Bruno screams at her and says no.
Ana Rosa tries to get up and falls. She
drags herself to the door. Alba tell Hector and Estrella that they have to
accept this wedding for the time being. Estrella tells her not to ask her to do
that. Hector says absolutely no. Alba tells them to do it for their mother’s
memory. They agree to do it for their mother and Alba tells them, show Maria
you are no scared of her.
Maria tells Vivian that since she is

Ana Rosa leaves the room and Daniela tell
Fabiola that she will not allow her to tell Leonel the truth. Have you thought

Carmella tell Alba that they need to think

Fabiola calls Alba to tell her that Ana
Rosa knows that Maria was in jail because she overheard that Daniela saying it.
Alba tells her that they are useless and hangs up. She then tells Carmela that
if something is going to be done right she minus as well do it.
Daniela and Demetrio are with Ana Rosa who
has calmed down and Demetrio asks her if she really was in love with Esteban
and she says of course not.
Bruno calls Servando and tells him what
happened and insinuates that they should get rid of Ana Rosa if necessary. Daniela
and Demetrio ask Bruno what he talked about with Servando. He tells them that
Servando is very upset over what happened and even said that if necessary they
should get rid of Ana Rosa. Bruno and Faby decide to leave and Daniela tells
Demetrio to stay with Ana Rosa because she needs to go out. Demetrio tells her
to let the housekeeper take care of her because he has to go see a client.

her world and he only sees her as a secretary
Greco tells Lupita that he has applied for
an oversea scholarship to study in Australia. She asks him if it is because of
Estrella. He tells her yes and that she knows better then anyone else the love
that is not returned is not worth anything.
The housekeeper that they left Ana Rosa
with says that it is strange that D & D have not returned. She is going to
bed because it is late and Ana Rosa is completely knocked out. She turns the
lights off and goes to her room. Meanwhile the killer comes in and goes to Ana
Rosa’s room and they have a gun in their hand.
Maria is talking to Padre and tells him
that she is going to marry Esteban again. He asks her if it is worth it. He
tells her that her children are worth everything and asks for his blessing.
Greco goes to see Carlos and tells him that
he better make Estrella happy or he will have to deal with him.
Estrella is in front of the picture of her
mother crying and telling it that she is going to her father’s wedding so that
she can defend her memory. Estrella then goes to see Greco and Socorro tells
her that it is her fault why Greco is leaving the country.
El Pulpo is working on the street. He
starts to eat and someone tells him that he did not pay to work in that area.
Pulpo tells him that the street belongs to everyone. Pulpo takes off running
and there are people chasing him.
Padre tells Maria that the killer will now
attack more then ever. Estrella comes in and insults Maria and Padre tells her
that he will tell her a truth that will make her kneel before Maria. Maria
crying as always pleads with el Padre and begs with not to say anything to
Estrella. El Padre tells Estrella that you are so filled with hatred and
resentment that you don’t deserve for me to tell you the truth. Before she
leaves she tells Maria that she hates her with all of her soul and that she
will never accept her as her stepmother. Padre tell Maria that she should have
let him tell her the truth.
Hector calls Carlos and tells him to go
have a drink with him he doesn’t want to be alone. Carlos tells him what are
friends for. Hector says he will go pick him up and Carlos says that he is
starting to win over the San Roman Family.
Alba, Carmela, Servando, Bruno, Fabi,
Daniela and Demetrio have all gone out their own way.
They are looking for Pulpo and luckily they
cannot find him and he thinks good thing I got away.
Servando comes home and tells the
housekeeper to not ask where he has been and to make him some tea. He starts to
feel bad and passes out. The housekeeper comes in and since she is deaf mute
she can’t do anything and runs out looking for help.
Carlos is driving and Hector starts to tell
him that his father is going to marry Maria, Carlos tells him he should be glad
that his father is alive. Hector asks him to tell him what his father was like.
Carlos tells him that his father was an exceptional person and it hurt him a
lot loosing him. When they stop Pulpo is there cleaning cars and he stops when
he sees Carlos. Hector asks Carlo if he knows that man and Carlos says no and
Hector wants to know why he is looking at him that way.
Episode 41 – Tuesday May 17th
We begin with Pulpo seeing Carlos and
Hector asking Carlos if he knows that man. Carlos says No and opens the window
and gives Pulpo money and call Carlos son.
Greco goes to the Church and asks God to
help him forget Estrella. He doesn’t blame her. Padre comes in and asks him
what the matter is and Greco tells him that he lost Estrella. Maybe she will
come back says Padre. Estrella is in her room and is anxious remembering what
Socorro told her that it was her fault that Greco was leaving. She says that
she doesn’t understand anything. Could it be that I don’t want him to go. I
don’t understand what I feel for him and what I feel for him.
Padre tells him that leaving will not make
him forget Estrella. Carlos and Hector get to where they are going and Carlos
says to himself that his is father is working like a podiosero. I hope that I
never see him again. Hector then him that they are going to a private party.
Pulpo is crying again because Carlos gave him 20 pesos and says that is want I
mean to my son. Servando is in bed and Esteban is at his side. Esteban tells
the housekeeper that he is worried about Servando’s health and that they need
to find his brother as soon as possible.
Carlos wonders why Hector wanted to go to
Maria’s apartment and when they get there Vivian opens the door and he demands
to know everything about Maria. Maria and Luciano are out at a café talking and
he tells her to be careful because someone already tried to kill her and she
says that for her children she is capable of everything and if necessary she
will get married again to get them back.
Esteban remembers Maria hugging Luciano and
he tells himself that he is jealous. Vivian tells Hector that she doesn’t have
to tell him anything about Maria. She tells him to leave please. Hector tells
Vivian tells even if Maria marries his father they will never love her. Hector
leaves and Vivian says to herself if you knew that Maria is your mother.
The doctor tells Esteban that Servando is
very sick and Esteban says that they should take him to the hospital. The
Doctor tells him that only if he gets worse that for the moment he is better
off at home. The detective comes in and tells Esteban that Pulpo left and we
have no idea where he is. Esteban tells him that for Servando it is very
important that we find his brother. He also tells Esteban that there is another
detective looking for Pulpo as well. Esteban wonders who it could be.
Bruno tell Fabi that they went to talk to
the investigator and you? Fabi tells him that she went out with some friends.
How strange you never go out with them. She tells him to leave her alone she is
going to sleep.
D & D are at home and Deme comes in and
Daniela asks him why he has a raincoat and gloves. He tells he thought it was
going to rain. Daniela tells him to serve her a drink. Deme asks Daniela if she
went out with friends.
Bruno comes into the room and starts to
kiss Fabiola and she pushes him away. He tells her that no man likes it when
his wife pushes him away. She asks him if he is going to force her to have sex
and if that is how he prefers it. D & D go to check on Ana Rosa and decide
not to wake her up and decide to leave the door to their bedroom open so that
they can keep an eye on her.
Alba tells carmela that she went to the
movies. How strange says Carmela you don’t like to go to the movies. And you
Carmela where did you go? I was around says Carmela. Esteban tells himself that
tomorrow he is going to marry Maria the woman that so many years ago I loved.
Greco asks Socorro is Estrella came by and she says yes and I told her that it
is her fault that you are leaving. She asks him if he is sure that Estrella is
with Carlos. Greco tells his Mom that he will do everything to forget Estrella.
Socorro tells him that she hates to see him like that.
In the morning Fabiola calls Alba to find
out if Maria and Esteban are still getting married. Alba tells her of course.
Choa Fabi I have to get ready for the wedding. Fabiola calls Leonel to tell him
that Maria is going to marry Esteban. The judge arrives and asks where the
bride and groom are. Esteban comes in and says that the bride is about to
arrive. Maria comes in looking beautiful and the judge says the are ready to
start.
Leonel is heading over the San Roman House
and says that he has to stop the wedding. The judge asks if there is anyone who
doesn’t think the wedding should go through. Ok, good, Maria Fernandez will you
take Esteban San Roman as your husband. She turns around and looks at the
Hector and Estrella and says Yes, I accept. Ok now you sign. Maria is happy.
Leonel comes in to stop the wedding but is too late because the judge has
declared them husband and wife. Leonel asks Esteban if he can congratulate the
bride. Of course says Esteban. Leonel kisses Maria on the mouth and she slaps
him and asks him how dare he.
Leonel leaves and Esteban goes after him
and tell him that he loves Maria. You can keep says Leonel and I will keep your
treason. The rest of the gang goes over to Daniela’s and Bruno says they must
be married by now. Well says Daniela I hope Leonel stopped that wedding.
Hector and Estrella tell Angel that they
are going to make Maria life a living hell so that she regrets marrying their
father. Angel tells them to not look at him because he is going to give her an
opportunity.
Alba tells Esteban, do you see what
marrying Maria has brought, Leonel now hates you. I think Ana Rosa is a better
woman.
Ana Rosa wakes up and says that she has to
see Esteban. I have to tell him that Maria was in jail. At the apartment
Luciano and Viv ask Maria if she wants them to go the house with her. She tells
that if she needs them she will call them. OK good luck.
Maria gets to the house and says I am back
in my house and I am going to get my children back. Alba comes in and tells her
don’t even think you are getting your way. Carmela tells her don’t you see that
your children don’t care for you. Maria tells them that she only came back for
her children. Angel comes in at the moment and tells Maria that he has nothing
against her and gives her something to wipe her eyes. Angel leaves and Maria
asks God for his protection. Maria tells The Tias that its ironic that Angel
who is not even her son cares for her. The tias leave.
Esteban is in his office and says that he
married Maria. He looks at the photo of the kids and says that he wants to tell
them the truth but he thinks that they will end up hating him and Maria more.
He asks god for help to make this all worth it.
Alma tells Lupita that Mr. San Roman married
la Sra Maria. I am sure that Ana Rosa must be ticked. Alma asks Lupita if Greco
is still in love with Estrella. Lupita tells her just like me with Leonel, even
though he will never love me.
Maria tells Greco that she married Esteban SAN
ROMAN. Maria asks him if he still plans on leaving. Of course he tells her
Estrella is going out with Carlos. Maria tells him that she does not like that
young man for Estrella. Please don’t give up, fight for her. Estrella and
Carlos are talking and Carlos tells her that there is only one way to fix
things to get married.
Episode 42 Wednesday May 18th
It Starts with Estrella y Carlos in the
restaurant. He tells her to marry him and Estrella is surprised.
Greco and Maria are talking and she tells
him to not give up on Estrella and Socorro shows up. Maria tells her that she
married Esteban San Roman. Ana Rosa is going up the stairs to go see Esteban.
Daniela asks her where she is going and tells her that Esteban probably already
married Maria. She asks her if she knows this for sure. Ana Rosa gets
hysterical yet again and when Demetrio comes home Daniela tell him that Ana
Rosa wants to go see Esteban. Demetrio locks Ana Rosa in her room.
Esteban suspects that Bruno hired another
investigator to look for Pulpo. He asks Bruno and he denies it.
Leonel tells Fabiola that Esteban and Maria
got married. Demetrio tells Daniela and the housekeep that Ana Rosa is not to
be let out of her room. Ana Rosa is screaming that she has to see Esteban and
to let her out. Demetrio tells Daniela that Ana Rosa’s mother his wife died
crazy and Daniela tells him that her niece is not crazy.
Ana Rosa finda a gun. Alba cruses Maria for
marrying Esteban. Carmela asks Alba what would happen if she told what she
knows about Angel. Alba swears that she will kill her. You know how much I love
Angel and I will do anything to protect him.
Alma goes to Angel’s office and he tells
her to call him by his name. She tells him that she can’t do that because he is
the boss and she should respect him. Angel tells her that he is different.
Maggie arrives at the point and goes over to kiss Angel on the cheek and tells
Alma to bring her some coffee. Alma leaves the office very sad.
Ana Rosa thinks about killing herself with
the gun that someone left in her room. But then thinks better of it and decides
to kill Maria. Socorro tells Greco to go get them some drinks so that she and
Maria can talk alone. Socorro tells Maria that this morning she found a lump in
her breast. Maria tells her that they need to go this minute to the doctor.
Socorro tells her that she wants to tell her husband first. Ok, says Maria but
afterwards we are going to the doctor and I am going with you.
Carlos and Estrella go back to the office
and Carlos tells her to think about that he said. She promises that she will.
Estrella then goes to Lupita and asks her if her brother is really leaving the
country. Maggie shows up at that point with Angel and they go off to talk about
Angel’s birthday.
Ana Rosa talks the maid into opening the
door for her and when she does she knocks out the maid and she escapes with the
gun. Davinci goes to see Carlos to him that his father left. I know says Carlos
I saw him. He is working in the streets cleaning windows. I hope to never see
him again.
Ana Rosa is in a taxi and is telling the
drier to hurry up. She is hiding the gun. Angel and Estrella get back to the
house to eat. They run into Hector and they comment on the fact that they now
need to tolerate Maria at meals. Don’t worry she is not home says one of them.
Just in time Maria arrives via taxi. Estrella and Hector go inside to avoid
talking to her and Angel the gentleman that he is waits for her. Alba sees
everything from upstairs.
Ana Rosa is saying to herself that Maria is
going to pay. Socorro tells her husband that she found a lump in her breast. He
tells her that she has to go to the doctor immediately. But she doesn’t want to
go.
Ana Rosa gets to the house and decides that
Maria has to die. Inside Alba tells Maria that her enemies are her own
children. At which point Ana Rosa comes in and starts screaming at Maria. Alba
tells her to calm down and Maria tells her to leave her house. The kids come
down the stairs and Ana Rosa tells them that Maria should not have married
Esteban because she was jail many years. Hector asks Ana Rosa what she said and
she says that Maria was in jail. Maria accepts it and tells Hector that you
have no idea what happened and you have no right to judge. Esteban comes in and
Ana Rosa tells him that Maria was in jail and he says he knows all about
Maria’s past.
Ana Rosa takes out the gun and shoots Maria
but Esteban gets in the way and gets hit and falls to the floor. Maria goes to
him. Everyone is shocked at what happened and Estrella runs to take the gun from
Ana Rosa, but the gun goes off and no one is hit. Maria tells Hector to help
his sister and take the gun from Ana Rosa. Maria begs Esteban to hang in there
and to not die. Estrella goes to her father and Maria tells her to get
something to stop the bleeding.
Rebecca calls an ambulance and Alba hits
Ana Rosa and calls her stupid. Hector takes to a room and locks her there. She
tells him that she didn’t want to hurt anything. Leonel is with Lupita when
Hector calls and tells him that Ana Rosa shot her father. What? I’m on the way
says Hector. Rebecca comes in and says that help is on the way. They tell
Rebecca that under no circumstances she is not to let Ana Rosa out. Estrella
tells Maria that it is her fault her father was shot. Maria tells her she did not
shoot Esteban. Estrella tells her you just want to keep everything. Maria tells
her to lay off her stupidity and that she should be thinking about her father
not her own selfishness.
Alba, Carmela, Estrella y Maria watch as
Esteban is loaded into the ambulance and they ask who is going with him.
Estrella says she is going. Maria trumps her and says she is his wife so she
goes.
Leonel gets there as the ambulance is
leaving and they all go to the hospital. Daniela gets home and finds the
housekeeper on the floor and asks where Ana Rosa is. The maid tells her that
Ana Rosa knocked her out and left. Daniela calls Alba tells her that Ana Rosa
escaped. Alba tells her oh yeah she escaped and came here and shot Esteban and
I swear she will pay for it.
Leonel says the he told the cops what
Esteban told him to tell them that it was an accident. Hector says that he is
not going to leave his father while he is in this state. Leonel says that they
should worry about Maria. Estrella tells Leonel that she was in jail. What says
Leonel. Estrella ells him that she was in jail many years. How many years ask
Leonel. We don’t know says Estrella. Angel says she was in jail for something
she did not do.
Esteban is in the hospital and wants to see
Maria. She is talking on the phone with Luciano and asks him to bring her
clothes. The nurse comes to her and says Mrs. San Roman, yes, I am Mrs. San
Roman. Your husband wants to see you says the nurse
Maria comes in to see Esteban in a very
romantic scene. The nurse tells her that she can only stay a few minutes. Maria
tells her Thank you. Esteban wakes up and tells Maria to come that he wanted to
see her. Maria comes to the bed and takes his hand and tells him not to talk.
She tells him, Esteban you have to be strong, she starts to cry and tells him
he has to fight for your life and your children that love you so much. We all
need you. He asks her if she is crying for him. Yes I am crying for you because
despite everything I still love you and she kisses him and they continue to look
at each other.
Episode 43- Thursday May 19th
We begin with the kiss from last night.
Carmela tells Alba that it was not right to tell Leonel that Maria was in jail.
Daniela thanks Fabiola for going with her since her nerves are completely shot
and she cannot drive. Daniela asks Fabiola where Ana Rosa could have gotten a
gun from and who gave it to her. Fabiola tells Daniela that she prefers to see
Esteban dead then married to Maria.
Alma tells Lupita that it is such a shame
that Mr. San Roman was shot on his wedding day. Carlos comes in and asks Lupita
why he did not tell him anything. She tells him because she did not want him to
be intrusive. Carlos takes off to the hospital and Alma asks Lupita why she
treats him that way. Lupita tells her that he deserves it and to be careful of
him
Padre tells Pulpo’s friends that they are
looking for him to give him an inheritance. Everyone is happy and they decide
to go look for him. Davinci tells them that he is working on the streets.
Daniela and Fabiola get to the San Roman house to see Ana Rosa. The housekeeper
tells them that they can’t take her that she should be in jail. Daniela tells
her how dare you say that. Fabi tells Daniela to not argue with her and that
they should go to the hospital.
Estrella, Hector, Leonel y Angel are
talking that Esteban is in critical condition. Estrella says that Maria should
not be with her father, we are his children. Maria comes in and Angel asks her
how Esteban is doing. She tells him that he is not doing well. Maria calls Estrella
and Hector HIJOS. Hector tells her to not call them that, she is only their
stepmother.
Leonel tells Angel that if it wasn’t for
the fact that Maria is really upset right how he would ask her why she was in
jail. A friend tells Socorro that she should go to the doctor.
Pulpo is being cased by the same guys. They
beat him and take the money that the Duquesa gave him. Maria thanks Luciano and
Vivian for being with her at the hospital in these difficult moments. Vivian
asks her how the family treats her and Maria tells her like they always do, the
only who is nice is Angel. Padre comes is and tells her that he is there to
help her. She thanks him.
Davinci and company organize themselves to
look for Pulpo but they can’t find him. Servando tells the maid thank you for
always being my loyal companion and for helping me. They continue to look for
Pulpo and they all meet at the plaza and when they leave, Pulpo shows up all
beaten up and wonders where to go spend the night. Carlos and Estrella are
talking at the hospital and Carlos tells her that he wants to be with her in
these difficult moments. She tells him that she knows her who friends in these
difficult moment. Carlos tells her that he cannot believe that Greco is not
here with her.
Lupita goes home and tells her family that
Mr. San Roman was shot and is in critical condition. What asks Greco. Padre
tells Maria that they should go to the chapel to pray. Estrella asks Maria what
she would prefer to be called, Stepmother or Delinquent. They leave and Padre
asks her if they know the truth. Maria tell him that they know she was in jail.
Padre says amazing all that can happen in one day.
Esteban is in critical condition, and tells
the nurse to call his family. Estrella wonders where Greco can be. At the
minute he shows up and she is happy and they hug. He tells her that he got
there as soon as he heard and asks how her father is. She tells him that he is
better but still in ICU. She asks him why he has not visited her and he tells
her that they will talk later.
Everyone is in Esteban’s room and he says
that he wants to tell them something but wants Maria to be there. Angel goes to
look for her but Hector stops him and Leonel goes instead.
El pulpo is walking the streets and runs
into one children who offer him to spend the night with them. He says that only
one night. One of the kids is running a fever and he takes them to a hospital.
A friend of Pulpo tells the Duquesa that she likes Pulpo and she thinks that he
likes her as well.
Carlos runs into Greco and tells him that
Estrella is going to marry him Greco gets sad and leaves the hospital. Carlos
tells himself that Greco is really stupid. Greco believes what Carlos tells him
and goes off to drink.
Maria gets to Esteban’s room with Padre and
Esteban thanks them for being there. Esteban says that he needs to tell them
something because time is short. Leonel asks him for forgiveness for his
stupidity. Esteban calls Leonel HIJO and tells him that to him he has been like
a son to him. Esteban is dying and Estrella tells him to not leave her that she
needs him. The doctors tell everyone to get out of the way. Esteban codes blue
and the doctor tells the family that they have done everything but that Esteban
is dead. Maria tells Esteban to not leave them that she loves him with all of
her soul.
Episode 44 – Friday May 20th
Everyone is crying and the doctor tells
Alba that he is really sorry. Alba says that Esteban cannot be dead. Hector
asks God to not take his father. Maria is crying and tells Esteban to not leave
her. Esteban sees the white light and wonders what this peace is. He then hears
Maria’s voice telling him that she loves him and he responds. The doctor tells
them that he has come back. Maria thanks God.
Pulpo gets to the clinic and tells a nun
that the boy is very sick. Maria goes to the chapel and thanks the Virgin Mary
for Esteban’s return and Padre gives thanks for Esteban being alive. Back at
the clinic all the kids are crying because they don’t their friend to die.
Bruno is complaining because they have to be at the hospital. He asks a nurse
how Esteban is doing and the nurse tells him that Esteban died. Deme and Bruno
are both happy with the news and Fabi and Daniela cannot believe what they have
heard.
Everyone is watching Esteban from outside
and the doctors comment that they have never seen anyone come back after being
pronounced dead. Esteban is not wake and thanks God for another opportunity in
life and says that he will correct all of his errors.
Fabi says that she did not want to see
Esteban dead and says that she only said that because she was angry. Bruno and
Deme says that they now have complete control of the company, but remember that
we have to control Maria and she is a major stock holder. The Tias and Estrella
come by and Deme and Bruno give them their condolences and tell them that
Esteban was like a father to them. Alba bursts their bubble by telling them
that Esteban died only a few minutes but that he came back. Alba and Estrella
both thank the doctors for saving Esteban’s life. Demetrio says that’s good
that Esteban is OK. Daniel and Demetrio approach Alba to talk about Ana Rosa
and she tells them that this is not the time to talk about Ana Rosa and
Estrella says that the important thing right now is her father.
Greco is drinking and starts to think about
Estrella. A mariachi asks if he wants a song played and starts to sing. Greco
nearly starts to cry. Padre is sitting with Angel, Leonel, and Hector and
Estrella asks if anyone has seen Greco. Hector asks what he is doing here.
Estrella says that he came to see her when he heard what happened to her
father. Someone mentions Maria and Hector says that he did not believe anything
that liar had to say. Padre tells him to zip it and tells him that she was very
sad and that she was praying that Esteban not die. Leonel tells Hector and
Estrella that they make a truce for their father’s sake. Estrella says that she
will not insult Maria in front of her father for her father’s sake
Alba asks the doctor how Esteban is doing
and the doctor tells him that critical but OK. Alba thanks him for what he did
for Esteban. The doctor leaves and Alba starts to cry. Deme says what a shame
that Esteban did not die because of those doctors. Bruno says that he should
have killed him with his own hands and Deme stare at him. Bruno tells Deme to
forget about what I said and that the investigator should be getting there and
they leave to go talk to him.
Alba goes to Esteban’s room and asks Maria
what she is doing there. I am his wife says Maria and I am going to take care
of him. Alba tells her to leave because she is the one that should be there,
you are nothing but an intruder. Maria tells her that the intruder is you, you
have taken over my place with Esteban and my children and starting today I am
getting back what is mine. Now leave because we are not going to discuss this
anymore. Alba says fine she is going to leave. Maria tells Esteban, I don’t
know if you can hear me MY LOVE, but I love you and I am going to take care of
you regardless of what happens. You are my one and only love and that is the
way it is going to be forever. Esteban is not wake but can hear what she has to
say and says, I LOVE YOU TOO MARIA.
Daniela says that someone had to stop that
wedding and that she had plans for when Esteban and Ana Rosa got married. Now
she is not going to let Maria and Esteban be happy.
Pulpo tells the kids that they would be
better off at home and they tell him that they were not wanted at home and that
is why the left. Pulpo wonders how a parent could not want their child, but
then also wonders about a child not wanting their parent. Meanwhile Carlos in
his apartment says that he hope to never see his father again.
Maria is in esteban’s room and Padre knocks
on the window and tells her that he is leaving. Maria decides to walk him out
and Daniela slips in there and says that he has no idea how she has dreamed of
having him like this in front of her even if he is not wake. She tells him that
she has loved him since the day she met him and she kisses him.
Lupita and Alma come to the cafeteria and
run into Alba, Carmela, Leonel, Estrella, Hector and Angel. They site behind
them and Leonel and Angel get up to say Hello. Leonel asks what they are doing
there and they say they came to see how Mr. San Roman is doing. Alba asks
Estrella who the other girl is. Estrella says that she is the new secretary and
Alba says that she not give secretaries too much confidence.
Daniela tells Esteban that she had plans
for when he married Ana Rosa but you had to leave her for Maria. She tells him
that Ana Rosa was prego but lost the baby. Esteban gets really sad and blames
himself for the death of the baby. This causes his blood pressure to go up and
the alarms start to sound. Daniela leaves the room and Maria is coming back
with Padre and the doctors are running to Esteban’s room. They run to his room
and Maria asks what the matter is the doctor tells her that he had a problem
but that they were able to stabilize him. The doctor tells her that something
upset him. Maria asks what could have done it, the doctor tells her that they
won’t know until he wakes up. In his mind Esteban says, Maria if you only knew
that Ana Rosa was having my baby and because of me lost it. Maria tells him
that she is going to be there to take care of him. Esteban says to himself
Thank you for being here.
Padre leaves the
hospital and goes to visits the street children where he goes once a week. When
he gets there he finds Pulpo asleep and Padre wakes him up and Pulpo asks how
is doing. Padre tells him he is so happy that he found him.

EPISODE 45 – MONDAY May 23rd
Episode begins with Hector arguing with
Vivian. Hector tells her that he does not want her here and she tells him that
she is not leaving until Maria gets back. They almost kiss but Estrella comes
in asks what she is doing there. Hector tells her that she is there to take
care of my father and she refuses to leave until Maria gets back. Maria comes in
asks what is going on. Hector asks her why she asked Vivian to take care of our
father. Maria tells him that she does not care who takes care of him as long as
he is not alone.
Padre tells him that they are looking for him
to give him an inheritance, but that he has to see the person who will leave
him the money. Duquesa goes to see Socorro to ask her to go see the doctor.
Alba calls Daniela to tell her to go pick up Ana Rosa. Alba tells her to hurry
up before she changes her mind. Daniela tells Demetrio to go with her.
Angel asks Leonel if he plans on returning
to work and Leonel tells him that he will return only if Esteban needs him.
Angels tells him that his father never wanted him to leave so tomorrow he has
to go back to work. Maria tells Hector and Estrella that she knows that they
hate her but that they have to get along for their father’s sake. Hector tells
her that they will not be rude or insult her in front of their father but that
they will never love her. She agrees to it and they leave. Vivian tells Maria
that she is stronger then they are.
Daniela and Deme are coming down the stairs
with Ana Rosa and gives the Tias thanks for not turning her over to the cops.
Alba tells her that she can thanks Esteban. Carmela says that Ana Rosa is
really in bad shape. Daniela comments how much she hates those two. Padre goes
to Servando’s house with Pulpo. Maria is in the cafeteria with Vivian and
Luciano tells them that what hurts her most is her children’s words. Vivian tells
her that she was going to tell them a few things but that Maria did not let
her. Luciano tells Maria to forget about everything and leave with him. He asks
her why she married Esteban again. Maria tells them that she is going to tell
them the truth that she is still in love with him but that if anyone asks she
will deny it.
Estrella asks Esteban for forgiveness for
what she has said to him. He tells her that he knows she is not bad, just
confused because she didn’t have her mother growing up and that one who needs
forgiveness is him. Angel takes her away and Hector asks his father for
forgiveness for all the stupid things he has said. Esteban says that he has
nothing to forgive him for. Angel tells him that he loves him and Esteban says
that he has never thought of him in differently then his own children and that
he has a big heart. He tells them that he feels guilty because Ana Rosa lost
their baby. They see Esteban cry and they are happy because it means that he
will make a recovery.
Daniela asks what they are going to do with
Ana Rosa. Deme says for now we take her home. Ana Rosa says home no because I
don’t want you to abuse me again. What asks Daniela, why is Ana Rosa saying
that
Padre takes Pulpo to see Servando and
Servando tells Pulpo brother come here let me hug you and ask you for
forgiveness. Pulpo tells Servando that he does not forgive him.
Daniela asks Deme what Ana Rosa meant by
that you abused her. Ana Rosa throws herself on Deme and he looses control of
the car and nearly crash. When they stop Deme and Daniela get out and he asks
her what she wants to do with Ana Rosa we either take her to jail or to a
psychiatric hospital
Pulpo tells Servando that he does not
believe that he has changed. Because of you I lost my house and had to grow up
on the streets. Its too late and I am not going to forgive you. Never says
Pulpo. He leaves and Servando cries please forgive me. Padre goes after him.
The kids tell Alba that Esteban cried and
that the doctors say it is good sign. Alba says that it is a good sign and asks
who he is with. They say his wife. Maria is with Esteban and Leonel comes in
asks if he can be with Esteban alone. Of course says Maria and she leaves.
Leonel asks Esteban for forgiveness for what he has said and his behavior and that
Esteban is like a father to him. Esteban says that he has nothing to forgive.
Padre asks Pulpo to forgive Servando. Pulpo
tells Padre that he has no idea what he has done. Padre tells him that he needs
his forgiveness so that he can die in peace. Pulpo tells Padre to not insist.
Padre tells him that he should fill his heart with love and that Christ also
forgave, so how can you not do it. Pulpo starts to cry.
Duquesa tells Davinci that she tried to
talk Socorro into going to the doctor but that she refused to go. She tells him
that there is one person who can talk her into going. Pulpo goes back to
Servando’s room and says you came back brother. Pulpo says that Padre talked
him into coming back. Servando says that he can now leave this world. He tells
Pulpo that he would do anything to turn back the time. He asks for Pulpo’s
forgiveness and Pulpo says that he forgives him. They hug and Servando tells
him thank you.
Servando tells Padre to please find Maria
that he also needs to ask her for his forgiveness.
Padre leaves to go find her. The maid comes
in and Servando tells her to come sit by him. My loyal companion I will never
thank you enough for everything you have done for me.
Ana Rosa is taken to a clinic and tells
them to get her off of him, that she is crazy. Ana Rosa cruses them and swears
that they are going to pay for this. Padre goes to the hospital and tells Maria
that Servando wants to see her. Carmela overhears Padre telling Maria that
Serando wants to see her and he tells her that Servando will probably tell her
who the killer is.
D & D get home and Daniela demands to
know what Ana Rosa meant that you abused her. Ana Rosa is taken to her room and
swears that they are going to pay for this. Daniela tells Deme to not run away
and demands to know what her niece meant by that. Deme asks how she can believe
anything Ana Rosa has to say because she is crazy. Camrela calls Deme and tells
him that Maria is going to see Servando and he will probably tell her who the
killer is. Alba hears Carmela hang up the phone and demands to know what is
going on. Deme calls Bruno and Bruno says well isn’t Maria the killer. Fabi
comes in and they put Deme on speaker phone and Deme says that Servando
apparently know who the killer is.
Davinci goes to the hospital to look for
Maria and sees Estrella and she asks how he is going. Davinci says that he came
to see someone but doesn’t see them. At that point Carlos comes and greets
Estrella. Estrella introduces Carlos to Davinci and asks if she knows him. Of
Course says Davinci I know him and his father and Carlos doesn’t say anything.
Padre takes Maria to see Servando and he
thanks her for coming. She tells him that the only reason she came was because
Padre asked her to.
EPISODE 46 – TUEDAY May 24th
Starts in Servando’s room, and he tells
Maria that he just finished asking his step brother for forgiveness. She tells
him to speed it up, or she’s leaving, because she has to get to Esteban.
Estrella asks Davinci how he can know
Carlos’ father because he is dead. Carlos interrupts them and tells Estrella
that they have to go because he needs to give Hector some papers for work.
Davinci laughs and says to himself that he can’t to see how fast Carlos’ father
comes back to life once he gets the inheritance.
Pulpo goes to see the kids of the
Dispensario and tells them that when Pulgarcito comes out they are all going to
go live at my house, because I am going to be your father so that you are all
good men????. Servando tells Maria that he needs her forgiveness so that he can
die in peace. She tells him how he can expect that she would forgive him when
the killer is listening to them. Servando tells her that nothing justifies what
I did, but I did it because of the love I felt for you and because you turned
me away. Maria says that she wishes that she could forget but can’t, however I
will not be like you and will forgive you so that I can face kids. She asks him
if he has anything else that he needs to say, and he tells her that he has left
a letter for Esteban where he tells him the name of the killer and tells him
everything. Servando then asks God for forgiveness.
Carlos that he will take of everything at
the office and asks how his father is doing. Hector tells him better that
Leonel and Esteban reconciled. Carlos gets upset and Hector asks if that
bothers him. Carlos says of course not.
Leonel tells Maria that he has been looking
for her and she asks if something happened to Esteban. He tells her no that he
wants to tell her that he will not bother her again. Maria tells him that makes
him happy and that she believes him. He tells her he wants to gain her
confidence, and she tells him that she wants them to be friends. She also
thanks him for not judging her like everyone else has for being in jail. Leonel
asks her if it is true that she was in jail and she tells him yes.
Father Belisario tells Servando that he
should tell Maria who the killer is and that she deserves it. Servando tells
him you are right she forgave me, can you go look for her and tell her to come
here so that I can tell her the truth. Servando tells himself that he will feel
better once he tells Maria who the killer is.
Maria continues talking to Leonel and tells
him that she was in jail for a that she did not commit and that one day she
will prove it. Leonel asks what the crime was and she tells him it was murder.
He asks why she was releases and she tells him it was for good behavior. He
tells her that he believes her and he knows that she is incapable of killing
anyone. He also tells her that her words mean a lot of him and he kisses her
hand.
Venturina goes into Servando’s room and
asks him for money to eat. He tells her to take money and to also go by the
church and pray for him. Servando remembers that Maria and Rufino forgave him
and can’t believe that the killer is approaching him. Servando tells him/her I
knew you would come and look for me. What do you want. Are you here to ask that
I not reveal who you are? I already told the priest and he has gone to look for
Maria, I should have never protected you. The killer approaches and removes
that oxygen and takes a pillow and suffocates him. Afterwards the killer puts
the oxygen mask back on and leaves the room.
Davinci tells Maria that he wants to talk
about Socorro. Angel is looking for the aunts in the hospital and asks a nurse
if she has seen them. She tells them that they both left the hospital. The maid
comes back to Servando’s room and finds him dead. She kisses him and cheek and
begins to cry.
Davinci thanks Maria for talking with
Socorro and Maria tells him that she can’t believe that Socorro does not want
to go see a doctor. She also tells him that she saw Pulpo in Servando’s house.
Pulpo brings the kids to Xochilico so that
his friends can help him find them clothes. Greco comes home really excited and
tells his mother that he got the scholarship to study in Australia. Father
Balasario comes to Servando’s house and finds the maid crying over Servando’s
body
Socorro is happy because Greco got the scholarship
and he will away from me and Estrella. Maria goes to Socorro;s house and tells
her that they need to talk. Greco asks what Maria has to say that is so
important.
Alba y Carmela come back to the hospital
and Angel asks them where they have been. Alba tells him the bank and Carmela
tells him she was at the bank as well. Angel asks if they both went separately
to the bank. They both say yes, . He tell them that Padre Balasario just told
him that Servando died.
Carlos tell Lupita that Leonel is coming
back to the office at which point Alma asks Lupita is that Is true. Leonel goes
to Servando;s house and is talking to Padre Belisario and tells him it’s a
shame that he got there too late and that the Empresas San Roman will take care
of everything. The door bell rings and the maid answers the door and as Leonel
asks about Maria being in jail, the gang comes in (Daniela, Dem, Bruno and
Fabiola). He tells them that he knows Maria was in jail and Demetrio tells him
that he has no clue that she killed.
Maria is with Socorro at the doctor’s and
he tells Socorro that the lump on her breast is dangerous. Socorro tells him
she does not like doctors. Maria tells her that if she has cancer it is better
to catch it early and they can cure it if it is cancer.
Carmela tells Estrella and Alba that she is
sad because of Servando’s death. Alba tells her to not be a hypocrite because
the only one who will miss Servando is the deaf mute of the maid. Alba says she
hates disloyalty. Estrella asks if she is saying that because of her. Alba
tells her did not like the truce they made with Maria. Carmela tells her that
they only thing that they are concerned about is keeping her mother’s memory
alive. Alba tells Estrella that they have to make Maria’s a living hell.
Estrella tells them, you, Hector and I will make Maria regret that she married
my father. Maria arrives with Socorro and overhears them, this makes Alba
happy.
Estrella turns around and sees Maria and
Socorro and gets up to greet Socorro and asks about Greco. Socorro tells her
that her son is going to Australia, and wants to leave as soon as possible to
be away from her. Maria tells her that she wants to talk and Estrella tells her
that she doesn’t want to hear anything she has to say. Alba tells Estrella well
done.
Luciano tells Vivian that he wants Maria to
forget everything. Vivian tells him to not even get involved and that the only
thing Maria wants is to clear her name and to tell her children the truth. The
only thing that they can do is to convince her to continue with the jewelry
business.
Socorro has the doctor examine her and give
her a mammogram. He tells her that is there is a problem that the tests will
let them know. Maria is outside and asks the Virgin to help Socorro and that
take care of Esteban. The doctors are in the room with Esteban and think it is
strange that he has not woken up and wonder if there is brain damage.
Maria is in the hallway waiting for Socorro
and runs into Estrella and asks her if she is sad that Greco is leaving the
country. She tells her to leave her alone and that her mere presence bothers
her. Hector arrives and asks his sister want is going on. Hector tells that
they have told her that they don’t want her presence and that if she does not
understand by the good she will be the bad and they tell her she is a slut and
that they hate her so much that they would love to see her dead and they leave.
Nice kids. Maria cries and Socorro asks her what is wrong. Maria tells her that
she needs to talk to her as a woman and as a mother. She can’t take it anymore
and she tells Socorro that Hector and Estrella are her children. Socorro is
shocked.
EPISODE 47 – WEDNESDAY MAY 25th
Maria tells Socorro that those kids that
hate her so much are her children. She tells Maria come on lets go talk in the
chapel. Pulpo takes the children to his house in Xochimilco and his lady friend
says that she is really glad to see him again. He tells her that those are his
sons and she is surprised and asks What? Maria tells Socorro that Esteban did
not support her when Patricia was killed because since I had the gun in my
hands and Servando’s confession did me in he thought I had killed Patricia.
Padre tells Daniela and Fabi that Ana Rosa must be out of her mind with what
she did and want to know where she is. Fabi says that she is in a psychiatric
clinic. Bruno and Deme are in Servando’s room and say that that they need to
find the brother so that they can buy those shares while Esteban is in the
hospital.
Maria tells Socorro that she was in jail 20
years for a crime she did not commit and swears that she did not kill Patricia.
Socorro tell her I believe you but why don’t your children see that the
portrait is not you and that Esteban and the Tias lied to them. Maria tells her
that the kids don’t know that she is their mother. Estrella tells Alba that she
has to go see Greco and leaves.
Daniela and Fabi go to the clinic to see
Ana Rosa and the doctor tells them that she has not changed since they brought
her in. Daniela says that she needs to see Ana Rosa that she is like a daughter
to her so they let her into the room.
Maria thanks Socorro for listening to her
and understanding her. She then tells her that she is selfish for not asking
what the doctors said. She says that the doctors sent her to have some tests
done and they have to wait for the tests to come back.
Fabi and the doctor are outside seeing Ana
Rosa’s when her aunt comes in to see her. Daniela tells her that if she calms
down she will help get out of there. Ana Rosa asks how tia? You have to do what
I tell you says Daniela. The doctor says that it is strange that she suddenly
calmed down and is dying to know what they are saying.
Pulpo goes to visit Servando at his house
when Padre tells them that he has just died.
estrella goes to where Greco is and he
wants to know what she is doing there and she wants to know if he is really
leaving because of her. Greco tells her that if she thinks that he took that
decision because of her she thinks that she is the center of the universe and
that everything revolves around you. Estrella tells him that she has always
been direct with him and that he did not even go with his mother to the
doctor’s Greco wants to know what happened to his mother. She tells him that
she has no idea and that she is leaving because she does not want to argue with
him.
Pulpo goes to his house and tells his
friend that his brother died and he feels bad about it. He asks where the kids
are. The kids say that their new father has a big heart. They are playing when
they see the father of one of the kids.
Everyone is at Pulpo’s house and he tell
them that his brother died. Davinci hugs him and the kids come running and he
presents them to his sons. They are shocked and ask if the kids are his.
Maria is in the room with Esteban and tells
him that he has to get better because the kids treat her like dirt and she
needs him because she cannot do it alone even though all of his suffering is
because of her. Pulpo thanks his friends and they leave. The kids tell Pulpo
that one of their fathers was after them and he tells the kids that he will
defend them
Alba gets to the house cursing Maria
because she did not let her stay with Esteban. Carmela tell Alba that they
should not tell Esteban anything about Servando dying. Rebecca then comes in and
asks Alba what she would like to do for Angel’s birthday or if she wants to
wait until afterwards. Of course we’ll wait says Alba. Alba turns to Carmela
and tells her that she doesn’t see a birthday present and it better be good for
the amount that she took out.
Greco asks his mother why she went tot he
doctor. The doctors tell Maria that if Esteban does not wake up they will have
to do tests to find out if there is brain damage and Maria says that it cannot
be and that he has to wake up.
Socorro tells him that she went to see an
oncologist and he tells her that they only see cancer patients. He asks her if
she has cancer. She tells him that she does not know if she does and that she
found a lump in her breast. Lupita comes in and congratulates Greco because he
got the scholarship. He says that he is not leaving until they tell him what
the medical results are. Lupita asks what the problem is and Socorro hugs her
children.
Vivian tells Luciano that Maria is going to
be happy when she finds out that they starts the sliver jewelry business again.
Luciano asks Vivian to not tell Maria that he wants it to be a surprise.
Padre tells Maria that Servando wanted to
tell her who the killer was but that it is too late because Servando died.
Maria can’t believe that she will not know who the killer is. Padre reminds her
that he left Esteban a letter with the name of the killer in there. Maria asks
him if he knows who the killer is and he tells her that he does and that he was
told in confession and his lips are sealed.
Estrella hangs up the phone after talking
to Carlos and Angel tells her that he does not like Carlos for her. She tells
him to mind his own business. Angel tells her that he heard that she fought
again with Maria therefore you must be happy. Estrella confesses to him that
every time she fight with Maria she feels bad afterwards.
Maria tells Padre that she feels bad that
Servando is dead. She tells him that her children told her that they wish she
was dead. She says if Esteban had not been there their wish would have come
true. He tells her to not worry and that when they learn the truth they will be
sorry and ask her for forgiveness. He tells her that Leonel mentioned that she
was in jail. Maria tells him that the only thing I did not tell him was that I
supposedly killed his mother.
Leonel talks to a picture of Patricia and
says that he expected Servando’s death because he was old but that she was
young and that he hates the woman who killed her and that he hopes she rots in
hell
Maria tells Padre that Ana Rosa is in a
psychiatric hospital. He tells her that her mother was also crazy. Maria asks
for forgiveness for what she is going to say but that when her mother died it
left a lot to talk about when Deme married Daniela, her sister.
The people watching Ana Rosa in the clinic
are surprised at how calm she is. They say that her aunts visit must have done
her well. Ana Rosa says that she has to do what her aunt tells her to do so
that way she can get out of there and make Maria pay.
The next day everyone goes to Servando’s
funeral and the maid cries. Deme wants to know who the brother is. They says
that Padre told him to go to the Emprezas San Roman. The maid cries and Pulpo
comes in and hugs her.
Socorro and Davinci go to the doctor and
they ask the doctor if the results are back. They are told that Socorro has
cancer.
Carlos is looking for Alma and reads that
Servando died and wonders who will inherit all that money. At that moment Pulpo
comes in and he asks his father what he is doing there.
Alba goes to the hospital and tells Maria
to get out of Esteban’s room. Maria tells her that she is nuts if she thinks
that she is leaving. Alba tells her that she is a bad woman and that God should
have never given her children. Maria gets up and tells that the sick one is her
and that your heart is rotten. What are you talking about says Alba. Maria
tells her that her devotion for Esteban goes beyond what an aunt should feel
for her nephew. Alba says how dare you and tells Maria to Shut up. Esteban is
waking up and Maria tells Alba that she will not be quite and that Alba has
always been against any woman that gets close to Esteban and even though you
deny it, it’s because you love Esteban like a women not like an aunt.
EPISODE 48 – THURSDAY MAY 26th
Esteban wakes up and Maria is telling Alba
that she doesn’t love Esteban the way an aunt should love a nephew. Alba tells
her that is something that only her sick mind would come up with and to shut
up. Esteban calls out for Maria and Alba approaches the bed. Maria tells Alba
to go tell the doctors and the family. Alba protests but ends up doing it.
Maria asks Esteban how he feels and if he
remembers what happened. He tells her that he is confused and she tells him
that Ana Rosa was going to shoot her and you saved my life. She asks why. He
tells her that his impulse was to protect her because he still loves her.
Carlos asks Pulpo why he came to the office
to look for him. Pulpo tries to tell him that he came for something else, but
Carlos tells him to Shut up and that he has told everyone he is dead and he
never wants to see him again. Forget that you have a son and leave.
The doctor tells Socorro and Davinci that
they caught the cancer early on and that she needs to be operated on tomorrow
and so that she can start radiation as soon as possible. She asks the doctor if
she will loose her hair. He tells her not to worry that will not happen.
Lupita and Greco are home and she asks
where their parents are, they left the church without saying where they were
going. Greco tells her probably to the doctor’s to get the results. Lupita asks
him why he avoided Estrella throughout the mass and he tells her that Estrella
does not love him and Lupita tells him that Estrella does not deserve his love
little brother
Everyone goes to see Esteban in the
hospital. Ana Rosa remembers what Daniela told her that she was not going to
end up like her mother and therefore she needs to calm down. Ana Rosa tells
herself that she has to be calm to get out of there. Deme tells Daniela that AR
is in no condition to be let out and he asks how they are going to pay the
clinic. Daniela tells him to let the company pay for them since it is Esteban’s
fault that AR is in the condition she is in. Bruno calls Deme to ask why he has
not been to the office.
Deme tells him that he knows he is behind
and that if Servando’s brother showed up to excuse him and that he is on his
way over. Deme tells Daniela that he hops AR has forgotten the stupidity of
saying he abused her. Daniela tells him that if she thinks she has forgotten
you are wrong and I am going to find out if you raped AR
Alba comes into Esteban’s room and asks how
he is doing. He tells her he is doing better and that when he was waking up he
heard arguing with Maria over something that is very disturbing that he does
not want to repeat. She asks him what he heard and he tells her that she loves
him much more than an aunt should love a nephew and asks if that is true. She
tells him that his not true and that Maria wants to separate her from him and
asks if this is how he pays her back for all the years she has taken care of
his family. She leaves in a hissy and he calls her back.
Maria is in the chapel praying to the
Virgin thanking her that Esteban is getting better and saying that now the
battle begins to get her children back. Also she prays that Socorro is OK.
On their way home, Socorro tells Davinci
that she is going to tell the kids the truth and that she wants to stop by the
church to prayer for all of them.
Carlos is treating Alma badly and thinks he
is owner of the company. He tells her to make two copies of a document and to
bring them to his office. She tells him you don’t have an office, you mean
Hector’s office. He asks why Lupita is not at her desk and Alma tells him that
she has some family issues and is not going to be there. Bruno comes in and
asks if Rufino Sanchez has come by and she tells him no. He tells her that when
he comes to bring him into his office.
Pulpo is walking down the street and
remembers what Carlos said about no longer wanting to be his son. As he crosses
the street a car almost runs him over and he says that he doesn’t care what
Carlos has to say and that he still have 4 sons at home and goes back to the
company
Bruno and Deme are arguing over how to
cheat Pulpo. Deme asks if he really thinks that they will be able to cheat him.
Of course says Bruno no one ever reads the fine print and lets hope Esteban
takes a while to recover.
Hector, Leonel, Alba, Angel y Estrella are
waiting to see Esteban and Estrella says that she had forgotten it was his
birthday with everything that is going on. Happy Birthday Little Brother she
tells him and gives him a hug. He tells them he is just happy that his father
woke up and is going to get better. The doctor comes out and tells them that
Esteban is doing well.
Alma takes the copies to Carlos and Pulpo
come sin in the meanwhile and sits downs and hides behind a newspaper. Fabiola
comes in talking to Daniela and tells her that Servando’s brother has not come
in only el Padre does she know him. Fabi tells her that they had hopes of
getting something from Servando but that cheat old man didn’t leave them
anything. She tells Daniela that she will see her later and wants to hear how
AR is doing.
Alma is in Carlos’ office (better yet
Hector’s office) and Carlos is screaming at her for only making one copy and
says that if you want anything done right you have to do it yourself. He tells
Alma to stop crying. He goes out to the hallway and runs into Fabiola. Long
time no see he asks her what are you doing here did you miss me. How dare you
says Fabiola I only used you to get what I wanted so what are you going to do
Carlos. He tells her that he is going to marry Estrella no matter what it
takes.
Padre runs into Socorro and Davinci in the
church and asks them what the matter is. They tell him that Socorro has cancer
and Padre hugs her. Fabiola tells Carlos that she is leaving and Carlos tells
her well let me say good bye and kisses her. Fabi gets upset and says that someone
could have seen them like her husband. Just then, Deme and Bruno come out and
Carlos ever the ass kisser asks if he can do anything for them and they tell
him go fetch us some coffee.
Bruno, Dem and Fabi are wondering where
Servando’s brother is. Bruno says that He hopes that Padre gave him the right
address. Ok, well’ I am out of here says Fabi chao handsome she tells Bruno.
Everyone leaves and Pulpo is shocked at what he has heard. Alma comes by and
asks if she can do anything to help. He tells her that he is on the wrong
floor.
Everyone is in Esteban’s room and he tells
Angel happy birthday and says that from now on they are going to celebrate
