Estrella arrives home and tells the Tias

going to live with Carlos at his apt. The tias, esp ALba, are concerned with
the news. Later on Greco shows at the SR mansion to see Estrella. The maid goes
to get Estrella, who is visibly concerned to remember Greco since she has only
thought about herself and Carlos today... She comes down to meet up with him
right in front of her mom's picture. He is so happy and is smiling, and tells
her very happily that he even talked to Esteban the night before and Esteban
was very positive in his response. (I felt so bad for him). Estrella just tells
him to sit down, that they need to talk. Estrella unloads the bomb on him
pretty point blank, judging from his expression when we come back to them.
Greco tells her that this is it, she cannot make up her mind and stick to it.
She is more willing to sacrifice his love because she cannot retract herself
from things she shouted because she was mad at Maria... she is immature,
selfish and he does not know who she is anymore. HE leaves without letting her
explain any more. Estrella is left very upset asking her mom for help.
Greco arrives home late at night, tells his
sister and parents the bad news... that Estrella will marry Carlos tomorrow.
Estrella comes home and at dinner she tells
everyone she is marrying Carlos tomorrow. In comes AR. Alba invites her to sit
at the chair at the head of the table, to everyone's surprise. Seconds later in

pulls herself together and very firmly threatens AR to get up or she will get
her up... AR whispers.. Esteban... as if expecting him to support her, but
Esteban limits himself to say that that is indeed Maria's chair. AR leaves, I
believe.
Pulpo meets up with Leonel and the boy who
has the burns and they visit the doctor. When the tests are completed, the
doctor tells Pulpo and LEonel and the boy that there is a GREAT chance they can
operate ('huesos'?). Pulpo, Leonel and Huesos very happy.

her and that she has a lot of enemies that want her gone. Maria tells her that
it is just like with Patricia, but that Patricia was motivated by ambition and
that her only motive is her children which is much more powerful, but she would
not know because she have never been a mother. Fabi gets really anxious and it
surprises Maria who asks her if she has been a mother. Fabi takes off and
leaves freaked out.
Carlos is
really angry that he did not marry Estrella.
Maria
goes with Padre to read Servando’s letter, but before she tells Esteband and
Estrella good bye and tells her that she is sorry she had such a bad
experience. Estrella just tells her to leave her alone.

will not let her be happy and Maria tells him that Servando ended her happiness
when he lied on the stand. Maria asks Padre to tell her the name of the killer
but Padre tells her he can’t because he knows it as a secret of confession.
Maria tells him that she will stop asking.
The gang
of vultures decides to go to the San Roman hosue to see how Estrella is doing
only to look good in front of Esteban.
Hector
tells Leonel that his investments are going well. Leonel tells him to be
careful and to not be so trusting.
Maria tells
Vivian are at the Studio and Maria tells Vivian that Estrella didn’t get
married. Vivian tells Maria that she told Hector she had not been in jail.
Maria tells her that just them knowing that she (Maria) was in jail is enogh.
Maria tells Vivian that she doesn’t like to lie, but that she is also living a
lie by saying that she doesn’t have any interest in Esteban as a man when it is
all the contrary. She also tells her that she is taking out of the bank the
diary. Maria tells Socorro that Estrella didn’t get married and that she hopes
that she will start dating Greco.
Once at
the San Roman House the vultures are there talking to Esteban and Esteban tells
Deme that he wants to talk to him in the study. Esteban wants to know why he is
meeting with Pulpo. Deme tells him that he is only offering his services as an
attorney.
Pulpo
goes to the office and is told by Lupita that Carlos was fired from the
company.
Carlos
calls Estrella and when she sees that it is Carlos she doesn’t answer.
Maria
gets home and sees everyone there. When she sees Esteban, she greets him, asks
about Estrella and kisses him on the mouth. Deme realizes that Maria has the
diary in her hands. Maria says that she is going up to the room to put her
things down and will be down to give instructions on dinner.
Maria
hides the diary in her dresser drawer.
Flavio is
in a afe talking on the telephone and telling someone that he has the documents
that Carlos sold him and he knows how much he can take Hector for. Hector gets
there and Flavio makes up some conversation about not being able to make the
transaction that day because there is problem with the Swiss and Italian
accounts. Hector buys it and agrees to help Flavio using the money from the
company.
Maria
gives the last instructions to the help and disovers the diary has been stolen.

Maria
beings to pick up the mess that the killer left behind in looking for the
diary.
Pulpo tells
Leonel that he wants to buy the house that he has lived hin always. Leonel
tells him that he will help him to get the necessary credit to buy it
The
killer goes downstairs to hide while Maria continues to look for the diary.
Maria leaves her room and the killer hides behind a pillar. Maria goes to look
in Esteban’s study while the killer goes back upstairs. Maria looks for the
diary among the books while the killer goes back to put the diary where it had
been left by Maria. Maria leaves the study and runs into Esteban and she tells
him that someone stole the diary. Esteban is surprised and he follows her to
her bedroom.
Estrella
is in her room thinking about how much Greco must hate her.
Socorro
tells Greco that he should be happy that Estrella did not marry Carlos. Greco
tells her that it’s a shame that he is not the man that the San Romans wanted
for Estrella (Her Ma Likes you and that is all that matters Greco).

Back in
Maria’s room Esteban asks where she left the diary.

goes to Pulpo’s house and everyone gives her a warm welcome.
All the
vultures and Esteban are eating and Alba excuses Maria for the way she treated
them. They all start to bad mouth Maria and Esteban gets upset and leaves the
dinning room. They all continue to talk badly about Maria.
Esteban
is in his study and remembres when Maria said that one of them had taken the
diary and is upset in thinking that Maria thinks he had something to do with
Patrica’s morder.
Later on
that night, Maria asks Rebeca where everyone is and Rebeca answers her in a
snotty tone and Maria tells her that if she continues to talk to her that way
she will fire her.
The
vultures are all in a bar and they all comment that Esteban didn’t raise his
children well and then they all say that they don’t have any room to talk
becuase none of them have children. Bruno and Fabi are both quite and don’t say
anything thinking about the son they had
Maria is
in her room and starts to read the dairy and realizes that there are some pages
that are missing. Leonel comes into his apartment and finds an envelope with some
pages from the diary. He realizes that they were written by his mother and he
starts to read them.
Carmela
tells Alba that she wishes she was more like her strong and sure of herself and
the only one whoever had the guts to stand up to her was Patriia. Both ome to
the conclusion that Leonel would be heart broken if he ever found out that his
mother never loved him.
Leonel
reads the diary pages and realices that his mother never loved him and he was
only a bother to her. He cries and leaves the pages aside.
Maria
goes to Esteban’s room to find him and realices that he is not there and starts
to get worried.
Meanwhile
Esteban is in AZ’s apartment. Esteban tells her that there cannot be anything
between them because he is married. AZ tells him that the Maria herself has
said that she has no interest in him as a man so there is no problem if they
continue to see eachother. Esteban is about to leave and AZ asks him to spend
the night. Esteban tells her no and leaves.
Carlos is
in his apartment upset about what Estrella did to him and there is a knock at
the door and Fabi is there. Fabi starts to make fun of him telling him that he
was so close and lost it all. Carlos tells her that he is going to show them
all what he is capable of. Fabi laughs and tells him that he is not capable of
anything and that if he wants to come out ahead he should sell his services to
women. Fabi leaves and Carlos gets mad.
Maria is
in her room

going to make them something to eat.
Back at
the San Roman House Maria asks Esteban where he is comino back from and he
tells her AZ’s place.

that man. Alba asks Rebeca where the paper is and Rebeca tells her that Maria

to Maria’s orders and Rebeca tells her that Maria told her that if she doesn’t
she will fire her.
Maria is
talking to Padre and tells him that Esteban did not want to listen to her the
night before. Padre tells her to tell Esteban that she still loves him and
Maria tells him that she is not going to subject herself to Esteban’s ridicule.
Maria tells him she is worried about the missing pages and Padre tells her that
whoever took them, wants to manipulate Leonel.
The San
ROman are in the dinning room and Estrella apologizes to her father and he
gives her a hug and tells her not to cry.
Hector’s
is in his office looking for some papers that Carlos stole. Hectore gets a call
from the bank and he tells them that he and Flavio will be ther shortly to pay
off the debt.
Esteban
is with Estrella in the living room and he asks her if she realizes the mistake
she was about to make. Estrella tells him it is all Maria’s fault and asks her
father to divorce Maria.
AZ and
Demetrio are kissing in her apartment when there is a knock at the door and it

Socorro nearly makes a mistake and tells
Vivian and Maria that Carlos’ father is alive.
Vivian realices that Socorro is up to
something and nearly made a mistake.
Socorro tells Greco that she nearly made
the mistake of telling Maria and Vivian that Carlos is Pulpo’s son. Greco asks
Socorro about Maria’s secret. Socorro tells him that she knows what the secret
is and that she made a promise that she will not break. They also talk about
the hate that Estrella has towards Maria. Socorro tells Greco that Estrella
will one be very sorry for how badly she has treated Maria.
Greco tells his Mom that he is no longer
going to look for Estrella. That she was right in saying that he and Estrella
are like oil and water.
Esteban tells Estrella that divorcing Maria
will not solve her problems. She leaves crying to her room. Esteban says to
himself that he wonders what will happen with my children.
Maria goes to the bank to open an account
and finds out there that Hector is in jail for fraud.
Ana Rosa calls Deme to her apartment and when
they kiss, there is a knock at the door. It’s Daniela and he gets nervous. She

Esteban is in his office thinking about

secrets. He gets up and he starts to get pains in his chest. He is having a
heart attack. Estrella wants to know what the matter is.
Estrella’s friend Maggie takes Angel to the
office and she is nearly nude and she starts to kiss him. He pushes her off of
him and she leaves him there to get out over the balcony. He falls and hurts
his head.
He is woken up by a dog and finds a bag
that has the Gabardina that belonged to the killer. He puts it on and hitch
hikes a ride.
Leonel is sad in his office looking at the picture
of his mother. Lupita comes in and asks what the matter is. He tells her that
he doesn’t want to talk and to hold his calls.
Leonel leaves the office and goes to the
church to see Padre. Leonel asks Padre for the truth. Padre tells him that his
mother was not a good woman. He is terriblay hurt and begins to cry.
Hector is in jail and tells the guard not
to call his family. They tell him that he has a visitor. He asks who it is and
Maria makes her TERMINATOR enterance and sees him on the floor. She knees to
him and touches her face and he takes her hand and she calls him son. Very
sweet scene.

Just then
Maria comes into the room and asks what he is doing in her room and what right

EPISODE 65- TUESDAY JUNE 21st
In
Maria’s room….
Esteban
read the letter that Servando left Maria where he confesses that he was always
in love with her. He crumbles the letter
Esteban:
Servando claimed to be my best friend and he was in love with my wife. He lied
to me, what other secret did he hide from me? Could it be true that, like Maria
said that he lied in the trail?
Maria
comes in and surprises Esteban
Maria: What
are you doing in my room? And why are you going through my things?
Esteban:
Gets up very angry. Since when do you have this letter and why didn’t you show
it to me?
Maria:
Why? You don’t believe anything I tell you anyway. You don’t even want to listen
to what I have to say. It didn’t matter to you when I told you that they had
stolen pages from Patricia’s diary.
Esteban:

The next
scene is of Maria sitting on the side of Angl’s bed. Watching him with
tenderness and taking his hand. She thinks that it is such a shame that your real
mother is not here watching you sleep, making sure that you don’t need
anything. I am not your mother but at least I can give you my blessing.
Estrella
sees Maria in Angel’s room and goes to the door to wacth and hear Maria giving
Angel her blessing. Telling him that a mother’s blessing is never enough. She
watches and is bothered.
That
night Leonel is in his office looking out the window with the lights off when
Lupita comes in…

What is the matter with you? If you want I will listen without asking any
questions.
Leonel:
What happened is that something destroyed my world and life and even my heart.
Have you ever had the feeling of being so small and insignificant. Have you

Venturina.
Lupita
goes home and tells the folks all of the office gossip. Esteban got sick and
almost had a heart attack. Maria got into some sort of finaicial problem and
had to sell all of her shares in the company.
Pulpo,
Fany, Davinci, and Venturina are all talking. As they leave a friend of
Socorro’s sees that Davinci is accompanying Venturina.
Back in
Jail….
Maria
tells Hector that that she did everything possible but that the money will be
available in the morning.
Hector
very grateful tells her not to worry. You have done enough for me. The only
thing that worries me is that everyone at home will be worried when I don’t go
home to sleep.
Maria:
Don’t worry about that. I will tell everyone that you will be home in the

Hector
interrupts her and says, You would be willing to lie for me?

Later on
in the Study…
Maria
tells Esteban that Hector called to say he would not be home that night and he
did not say anything else.

The next
day in Angel’s room

says he doesn’t remember what happened and wonders wehre Hector is.

asks Greco to give classes to the kids and to Venturina. He goes to Pulpo’s
house to give the classes and Estrella shows up and offers to help him teach
classes since she has never done anything to help anyone. She helps the kids
learn how to add.

office…

Tells Pulpo that he is now on the Board of Directors.
Pulpo:

Esteban:

On the
other side of the cell is Maria and Vivian. The bars open. Maria and Hector
look at each other with happiness and he goes to her.
Hector:

never going to forget it.

We begin
with

reading Servando’s letter and is upset because she thinks that the name of the
real killer is not written in the leter and he is only rambling in the letter.

with Maria and Esteban i the resturant….

AND ESTEBAN ARE TALKING IN THE STUDY
Estrella
asks esteban if he is Angel’s father and Esteban is surprised.
HECTOR’S

Angel
tells Héctor what happened with the accident with Maggie and asks that Hector
not tell anyone. Even though he loves someone else he doesn’t want Maggie to feel
bad. Hetor asks who he is in love with, and Angel tells him that he will tell
him only if Hector tell him who he is in love with too.
LUPITA
AND LEONEL IN A RESTAURANT
Leonel
asks Lupita if she really loves him and she tells him Yes. She has no idea how
it happened, maybe it was dealing ith him everyday and it happened without her
realizing it. Leonel tells her he has no idea what to say and Lupita tells him
that there is no need to say anything that she knows that he doesn’t feel
anything for her and that he will never love her.
She ges
up from the table and he offers to take her home she tells him its not
necessary and that she is really embrasssed she even said anything to him and
could not look him in the eyes. She leaves the restaurant rying and he stays
there thinking about what she said.
SOCORRO’S
HOUSE
Socorro
is crying with a lot of anger and wonders where Davini is. Meanwhile Davinci is
at Pulpo’s house planning the party for the anniversary with Venturina, Fanny and
the kids. They also get the idea that Padre should marry them again. Greco
comes by and decides to join in the fun of planning the surprise party.
Hector
tells Angel that he can’t say who he loves but that he is so much in love that
he asked her to marry him.
Vivian in
the aprtment wonders what Maria will say when she finds out that she slept with
her son. She says that Maria is her friend and not keep the truth from her.
Estrella
insists on asking Esteban the truth over Angel. She says that she heard Maria
giving him her mother’s blessing and that has her confused because if Angel is
not her mother’s son then he is not his son. Esteban tells her to not insist on
the issue and says that he is going ask her a question. Who is more of a father

RESTAURANT ALBA, DEMETRIO Y CARMELA
Alba asks
Deme why he asked them to meet there. He tells them that since the day of
Angel’s accident he has felt something for him and maybe it’s a father’s love.
Alba laughs and Carmela wants to know what he wants with Angel. Deme tells them
that he wants to have him at his side and give him all the love a father that
he has not been able to give him. He wants to tell him that he is his father.
Hector
and Angel continue talking and Hector says that he is sure that the tias will
not accept the woman that he wants to marry. Angel tells him that he has to
fight for her and that he will going to do the same if they do not accept the

Hector
comes down the stairs and tells his father to leave Maria alone that she
doesn’t deserve to be treated like that.
Hetor: I

Hector
tells Esteban that Maria did him a favor by selling her shares of the company
to get him out of jail because Flavio Marinelli was a thief and took all of the
moey. Maria found out and got him out of jail and its thanks to her that he is
free.
Eteban
feels really embrassed (as well he should) and she tells him that he knows how
special his hildren are to her and that she didn’t tell him anything because
that same day she found out about his almost heart attack.
Maria
thanks Hector for telling the truth to his father and that he will always be able
to count on her. Esteban also offers his help to Hector and hugs his son
telling him that parents will always help their children. Hector apologizes and
says that will never happen again. Esteban tells him to never hide anything
from him again.
