JULY 4TH EPISODE 74
CASA DE
DEMETRIO Y DANIELA (RECAMARA)
Daniela
remebers how her sister Sofia died. When Sofia starts to feel bad, she asks
Daniela to call the doctor and Daniela does not do this, thinking that she keep
everything, her sister;s house, money and her husband, Deme. She comes close to
Sofia and tells her that her wish is to see her dead. Daniela starts to scream
at her to DIE! DIE! Sofia then dies and Daniela asks herself if she really
wanted her sister to die.
EMPRESA
SAN ROMAN (ESTEBAN OFFICE)
Esteban
contineus talking to Estrella and she tells him to forgive her that she is
always apologizing and that is how she is. Esteban tells her that is not a
mature attitude and that he does not think she is a stupid girl, but that she
is an intelligent young woman, however her moods are enough to drive anyone
crazy. Estrella tries to talk about Maria and he tells her that is his problem
and no one else’s. Estrella tells him that Maria is very sure about what she
does however he is not and that his moods are constantly changing as well. He
tells her that he has his reason and that he cannot talk about them.
-ESTRELLA:
Sometiems we kids need an explantion so that we can understand why things are
happening and that we way we can see things differently.
They are
both standing up and hugging.
-ESTEBAN:
OK, go on Sweetheart and I promise to think about you said. The only thing I
want you to remember is that I adore you
-ESTRELLA:
(smiling) When you talk to me like that I know that you are talking to me from
the bottom of your heart and I know what you are feeling. I know that there is
no love in your life right now.
-ESTEBAN:
Estrella...
-ESTRELLA:
Papá, I can tell you are lonely even if you want to deny it. That is why I get
so angry with Maria because she doesn’t love you and if she loves you she
doesn’t show it. Even if you don’t want to admit it, since you got married you
are more alone then ever.
Esteban
listens thinking about her words
DANIELA
HOUSE
Ana Rosa
goes to Daniela and tells her that she found a receipt for a piece of jewelry
that was really expensive from a long time ago. They go to the study and a
furious Daniela takes the receipt out of Deme’s files. AR cynically watches.
Daniela sees that Deme paid a small fortune for that necklace and tAR asks her
who it was for and Daniela tells her that Deme will have a lot to explain.
Daniela gets angry and cries.
EMPRESA
SAN ROMAN (OUTSIDE THE ELEVATOR)
Demetrio
is about to leave just as Alba and Carmela come in. He tells them that he does not
understand and they tell him they are there to tell Esteban about the loan.
Deme dares them and says that he will go with them so that the three of them
can all talk to Esteban and he can tell him that he is Angel’s father. Carmela
and Alba look at the each other in surprise.
HOSPITAL
In
Huesos’ room after the operation is Pulpo, Padre, Lupita, Davinci, and Greco.
They are all happy that the operation was a success. Pulpo thanks them for all
being there to give Huesos support
Outside
of Esteban’s office, Carmela says that it would be better if they talk to
Esteban another day, but Deme tells them No that they should do it right now.
He tells Alma to tell Esteban that his aunts are there to talk to him. Alma
tells Esteban and he says that he will be with them shortly.
MARIA’S
SHOP
Maria
asks Socorro where Vivian went. Socorro says that she has no idea. Maria tells
Socorro that Vivian is in love with Hector anfd that they slept together.
Hector also loves her and that Vivian is scared to tell him about her past.
Maria says that if Vivian doesn’t tell him they will never be happy, because
relationships based on lies never work out. Soorro agrees with Maria.
Bruno
comes in to the shop and Maria is surprised to see him there and wants to know
what he is doing there. Bruno tries to convince Maria that he is not her enemy
and that they were friends once. Maria asks him, even if I am a murderer. Bruno
tells her to leave the past behind and to let him help her get her children
back.
Esteban
is in his office and is typing on his computer and remembers that his aunts are
there. He tells Alma to tell them to come in, but the only one that comes in is
Deme who tells him that Alba and Carmela both left in a hurry and only came by
to say Hello.
PARKING
GARAGE OF LAS EMPRESAS SAN ROMAN
Demetrio
catches up with Alba and Carmela and tells them that Esteban was surprised that
they left. Alba tells Deme to not play with fire and to be careful. Deme tells
them that he will not stay away from Angel and that he does not care who knows
the thruth. He offers to make a deal with them, they forget about the loan he
will continue to see Angel but he will not tell him that he is his father.
Esteban
is thinking about what Estrella said about Maria not loving him and he
remembers the first night Maria came back and she said that she was there to
become his worst nightmare. He thinks that maybe Estrella is right and that
Maria does not love him and is only there to make his life hell.
In the
garage, Alba, Carmela and Deme are there and Bruno and Fabi come up and ask
what they are talking about. Just then Daniela comes by and asks Deme about the
receipt that she found, she asks him if he has a mistress. Just then Esteban
comes up and Daniela shows him the receipt for the piece that Deme bought.
-DEMETRIO:
That piece was for Patricia!!
-DANIELA:
Patricia was your lover?!!
-DEMETRIO:
no!! Patricia was blackmailing me because she knew a secret.
-CARMELA:
What secret did she know Deme?
-FABIOLA:
so you could have killed Patricia?! To keep your secret hidden?
-DEMETRIO:
no!, no don’t put words in my mouth. I did not kill Patricia, and if what Maria
said in the cabin is true then everyone had reasons to kill Patricia.
-CARMELA:
I don’t understand what you are saying
-DANIELA:
There is no reason to hide it now. Patricia knew secrets and things about all
of us.
-ESTEBAN:
That means that if Maria is innocent and if Servando told the truth in the
letter, then the real killer has been among us and lying to us for Viennnnnte
Anos.
In the
shop Maria reads the letter again and thinks that Servando is rambling on again
and tries to figure out the clues he left.
SERVANDO’S
HOUSE
Two nuns
are grateful to Venturina and Rufino Sánchez for having given them the house
for an orphange, while a caretaker comes and gives them some boxes with some of
Servando’s things. The nuns tell them to put those boxes with the furniture
that they are not going to use.
In the
garage, Alba tells everyone that the only truth is that Maria killed Patricia
and that she was convicted of it. Fabi says that Maria is a murderer, and says
that they can’t prove that and the only thing that they have left to do is to
look for the other half of the diary and that maybe there will be the answer to
the mystery. Bruno asks Esteban if Maria has let him see the letter and Esteban
tells him no beause she is still suspicious of him. Carmela says just like she
is of the rest of us because they tried to kill her at the enterance of the
house. Everyone is surprised at this and ask what happened. Carmela tells him
that someone tried to choke her but that a policeman came by and saved her.
Alba tells them that no one was able to see the face of the person and if what
Maria says is true that one of them tried to kill her to get the letter.
Daniela and Fabi both get really anxious at this and Daniela asks Fabi if she
tried to kill Maria. Both start screaming at eachother and Esteban tells them
to go finish the conversation at home at night and he gets in his car and
leaves. Everyone else continues talking and makes plans to look for the other
half of the diary. Bruno tells them that they have to make Maria believe that
she can trust them and when she thinks she can trust them they have to destroy
her. Alba agrees and tells them that they have to attack Maria without any
mercy and they need to destroy her with their bare hands.
HOSPITAL
Maria
gets to the hospital and runs into Lupita. Maria asks about the boyand Lupita
tells her that the doctor is examining him at the moment. Maria invites her to
have coffee while the doctor is there.
CARLOS’
APARTMENT
Carlos
gets to his apartmenr and is beaten up and a broken rib. He cruses out the guys
that beat him and thinks about hiding out a few days because he doesn’t want
anyone to see him especially Estrella. He pays the doorman to tell everyone
that he went out of town a few days. Carlos then calls Estrella and tells her
that he is going out of town to look for work. She tells him that she asked her
father to give him back his job and he said no, but that she will continue to
ask him.
HOSPITAL
Lupita
and María are talking in the waiting room and Lupita apologizes for the way she
behaved when Maria first arrived and thanks her for everything she has done for
her mother. Maria tells her that it was her pleasure to help because she
considers Socorro a very good friend. Lupita asks Maria to tell her about
herself, because she has heard that things are not going well in the San Roman
house. Maria tells her that Hector is not that bad. Lupita tells her that
Hector can be a jerk but that underneath it all he is a good guy and she has
noticed that there is something there between him and Vivian. Maria asks Lupita
if she is in love with anyone. Lupita debates whether to tell Maria and Maria
tells her that she does not have to say anything. But Lupita ends up telling
her that she is in love with Leonel, but that it is an impossible love and that
he will only see her as a secretary. Maria tells her that Leonel is a good man
and that she should fight for her love. Lupita cries and tells her that Leonel
is unattiable for her. He knows how she feels and only told her that he does
not want to hurt her. Maria tells her that she will tell her story to show her
that everything is possible.
Maria:
When I met the man I fell in love with I was also a secterary, and he also fell
in love with me and we ended up getting married, so you see out stories are
similar. Just believe in yourself.
AT A
RESTAURANT (ALBA, DANIELA Y FABIOLA)
Fabi asks
Alba why Carmela did not join them and Alba tells them that she prefers that
Carmela not join them so that she doesn’t open her mouth. She has been talking
to Maria and told her that if they don’t provoke her she will not attack them.
Alba tells them that they have to plan something against Maria.
-FABIOLA:
The first thing we need to do is to take the power away from her
-DANIELA:
and how are we going to do that? She gets more power every day. You see she got
the shares of the company back.
-ALBA:
There is force in number and between the three of us we can defeat her
-FABIOLA:
What I want more then anything is to see her dead
-DANIELA:
see her dead! That is impossible!
-ALBA:
Why? Nothing is impossible, and if the three of us want to see her dead our
wish will come true.
-DANIELA:
You would kill her Alba? You would kill Maria?
-ALBA: I
have thought about it and if I didn’t have so much to loose.
-FABIOLA:
I agree with you. Maria deserves to die just like Patricia did
-DANIELA:
What if Maria is not lying? And in that letter is written the name of the
killer? What name is written there.
(Alba y
Fabiola don’t say a word)
HOSPITAL……..
Esteban
gets to the hospital and greets Lupita and Maria. Lupita says Hello and leaves.
Maria asks him what he is doing there and Esteban says he is there to say Hi to
Rufino and see how the boy is doing. Esteban tells Maria that they all met in
the garage and they discovered more of Patrcia’s blackmail and that if she is
innocent the murderer has been among them. Maria tells him that she has been
saying that and that he has never believed her and she will prove it when she
finds the second half of the diary. Esteban asks her again to show him the
letter that Servando left after all it was addressed to him. Just like he
confided in her by giving her the combination to the safety deposit box he
would have read the letter had Alba not destroyed it. Maria tells him it could
have been a trick between him and Alba.
-ESTEBAN:
a trick?
-MARIA:
You and Alba could have planned the whole thing so that she came at the apportune
moment to destroy the letter.
-ESTEBAN:
(gets upset) You are really so misguided Maria. That act of confidence and good
will that I had with you you have completely turned it around.
-MARIA:
You can’t blame me for not trusting anyone. I spend viente años of my life in
jail for a crime that I did not commit, and there are very few people I trust.
-ESTEBAN:
You have no idea how much that hurts me to hear you say that. I wouldn’t know
you from the woman that I married so much in love.
-MARIA:
and what you don’t think I didn’t love you?!! I am one of those romantic and
traditional women who thinks that marriage is for life. There can be many
weddings in a persons’ life but there is never the illusion and emotion there
is in the first wedding.
-ESTEBAN:
Even if it bothers you, you are my wife.
-MARIA:
Yes, I am your wife but not your woman. The woman doesn’t exist anymore, the
woman that loved you died of sadness and loniness. She died dreaming of a kiss,
a kind word. She is dead Esteban and only the mother remains. Don’t make me
tell you that everyday.
-ESTEBAN:
To them you are only their stepmother
-MARIA:
for now, but I have faith that situation will change soon. I want to get what
is mine and nothing else.
-ESTEBAN:
You keep talking with all this resentment, like I sent you to jail
-MARIA:
no!! no you didn’t but you abandoned me! You abandoned me and when you
abandoned me you left me alone, twent years without love, without tenderness,
and caresses. And I am just talking about the woman. Now imagine what the
mother has the right to hold against you.

JULY 5TH - EPISODE 75
CHURCH.
Estrella
goes to see Padre and tells him that when she has been sad she has thought
going to talk to him. Padre tells her that she has made the right decision to
come talk to him. Estrella asks Padre why she is a bad person and treats
everyone badly. She knows that she hurts her father and that maybe Maria is not
so bad after all. She feels that she has to be superior to Maria and that the
same happens with Greco. Etrella cries and says that she is just a bad person,
rebellious, arrogant, and mean. She tells Padre that she really wants to be a
good person like him. He tells her that he wants to talk about Maria.
-ESTRELLA:
Padre I don’t want to talk about that...
-PADRE
BELISARIO: of that lady, Lady. Maria is a lady. If you don’t get to know her
how will you know if she is a good or bad person? I amg going to tell you
something. If there is one person outside your family that loves you
unconditionally and would give their life for you, it’s Maria
-ESTRELLA:
Why would she? She should hate me
-PADRE
BELISARIO: Why don’t you try to find out for yoruself? Maybe in getting to her
you will get to know yourself at the same time
DEMETRIO’S
STUDY
Demetrio
y Angel are looking over books and Angel is really excited and tells Deme that
he has a lot of the same books he likes. Deme tells him that anytime he wants to
borrow them he can or come over to read them. Deme invites him to play a game
of chess. Angel agrees and while the are playing Ana Rosa watches them somewhat
destrubed.
SAN ROMAN
(FOOT OF THE STAIRWAY)
Carmela
is talking to Rebeca and wonders why Alba did not take her with her and she
asks Rebeca to tell the chofer to go buy her video cassettes for ther video
camera. Rebeca tells her that she has always liked to record everything (while
she serves Camrela a drink)
-CARMELA:
Yes, I shuld have been a film director, I have talant Rebe. I have a lot of
videos from the trips we have taken (Carmela takes her drink and tells Rebe to
serve her more because there is too little in the glass). She tells Rebe that
the only videos that she does not have are from a trip they all took 20 years
ago on the one where Leonel’s mother was killed
-CARMELA:
I remember that night Patricia asked to borrow the camera. Be Quite how could I
remember about the video camera after what happened. I didn’t realize I didn’t
have it until we got back to Mexico. (Rebeca listens to her and Carmela tells
her to give her another drink before Alba gets back.) Caremla asks Rebeca if
she got her raise already., Rebeca tells her no and Carmela tells her that she
will talk to Esteban when he gets back that night.
EN EL
HOSPITAL
María and
Esteban are talking to Pulpo and he thanks them for being there and for taking
the time to find out how the boy is doing. Maria tells him that it is their
pleasure and that they are happy that everything came out OK. Pulpo tells them
that he is thankful to the Virgen that everything came out OK and that the boy
has suffered a lot and that now that he has money the only thing that he cares
about is giving the boys what they need, because money is not important beause
it does not buy you happiness. Maria and Esteban both agree and tell him that
money cannot buy you love or happiness. Pulpo asks them if Servando was happy
despite all of the money he had. Maria tells him that he was not and that the
only thing that mattered to him was his money and that he never had real
friends because he never trusted anyone to not want his money. Maria says that
it’s more important for people to care for you for who you are then for what
you have.
MARIA’S
APARTMENT
That
night Hector knocks on the door but Vivian does not open the door. He wonders
where Vivian could be. Vivian is inside laying down on the couch inher mind
asking Hector to forgive her because she is not the woman for him.
CASA SAN
ROMAN
María
comes in and runs into Rebeca and she tells Rebeca that she wants an
explanation for what happened in the garden. Furthermore she is not going to
let her cause problems between her and Esteban. Rebeca, sarcastically tells
Maria and how are you going to stop me. Maria tells her she is fired and to
take her things and leave now. Alba comes in then and tells Maria that she
cannot fire Rebeca because she hired her and that she works for her.
-MARIA: I
am going to tolerate her disrespect and she is leaving now.
-ALBA: I
will not allow it!!
-MARIA: I
am the lady of the house and my orders are followed
-ALBA:
You will never be a lady because for that you need to have decency and morals
MARIA: I
am fed up as well of your insults and you too, Alba, along with Rebeca are
leaving my house!!!
-ALBA:
You are crazy if you think that I am leaving this house, which has been my home
for year, just becaue you want me to.
-MARIA: I
didn’t ask for your opinion!!! You are leaving because I said so and that is
it.
ALBA: I’m
not leaving and when Esteban comes home (just then Esteban comes home)
-ALBA:
I’m glad you got here Esteban, and I can’t wait to tell you this.
-ESTEBAN:
what’s the matter?
-MARIA: I
am only excerising my rights and I will not have the staff disrespect me, and I
will not allow for Abla to contradict my authority and orders.
-ALBA:
María just threw me out of the hosue, put her in her place will you!!!
-ESTEBAN:
Escuse me Tia, but if Maria asked you to leave the house, then you need to do
it. (Alba and Rebeca are both shocked.)
Alba tells
Esteban that she cannot believe that he is taking Maria’s side. Esteban tells
her that he will not allow her or Rebeca to disrespect his wife and that she
asked for it. Alba angrily says that she is going for her things and tells
Rebeca to do the same. Alba tells Esteban that she hopes that one day he will
be sorry for what he has done because she has always kept the family together.
She goes upstairs and goes to her room crusing Maria and swears to get back at
her where it will most hurt her.
Esteban
tells Maria that he did it to give her her place in the hosue. Maria thanks him
and says that Alba deserved it. Maria asks Esteban what he will say when the
kids ask what happened. He tells her he is going to say the truth. She tells
him that they will hate her even more and that she has to be ready to face
them.
In the
study at Deme’s house, Deme and Angel just finished playing chess and Angel
tells him taht he has to go home. Daniela comes in and is surprised to see
Angel there and tells him that they are headed over to the San Roman house as
well. Deme and Angel leave together and Daniela is puzzled by his show of
affection towards Angel.
SOCORRO’S
HOUSE
Estrella
comes and asks for Greco. Socorro tells her to leave him alone and to stop
hurting him. Estrella tells her that she is there to apologize because she
knows that she has behaved badly towards him. The boys that she has dated have
either gotten bored with her, are interested in her money, or have taken her to
their apartment to use her but that Greco is the only one that has cared for
her for who she is. Socorro tells her that the only thing she cares about is
that he son not get hurt. Estrella tells her that she’s right and that she has
not been the nicest person with Greco and that he does not deserve it. Estrella
gets a really sad and Socorro has some compassion for her and takes her hand
sits with her on the couch and tells Estrella that she gets mad when she sees
how she treats her son but that she knows that she is a good person deep down and
that she is like that because she knows that she missed out on having a
mother’s love. Socorro tells her that she is just trying to protect her son who
is the most important thing in the world to her. Estrella starts to cry and
tells Socorro that she would have loved to have her mother defend her like that
when someone tried to hurt her. They hug and cry. Socorro thinks to herself, I
wish I could tell you that your mother is close by and is fighting to gain your
love and respect.
In the
San Roman House Maria and Esteban are still talking by the stairs when Alba and
Carmela come down the stairs.
Alba: You
are stupid Esteban but despite everything I have don’t hold anything against
you because this is not your fault. The only one to blame is that woman. They
say that a man is the only creature that can trip over the same rock twice, and
I can see that is true
-MARIA: I
told you I would not attack if I was not attacked first.
-ALBA:
Don’t be so quick to claim victory, Esteban left you because you killed a woman
and you tricked him into marrying you again.
-MARIA:
someday you will have to ask forgiveness for all the things you have done.
-ESTEBAN:
Tía, Don’t start
-ALBA:
no! Esteban, We are finished for tonight (ALba leaves the hosue)
Carmela
telsl Esteban to stop Alba or she is leaving as well. Maria goes to the door,
opens it and tells Carmela to not let the door hit her on the way out.
EN EL
HOSPITAL
Socorro
goes to see Pulpo and tells him she is glad that everything came out OK. He
tells her not to distrust Davinci, but Socorro does not believe him. She tells
him that she will always be his friend. Pulpo tells her that Davinci has never
cheated on her and that he has never had another woman and to not ask anymore
questions because he promised Davinci he would not say anything.
AT A
HOTEL SOMEWHERE IN THE CITY
Alba y
Rebeca arrive to stay there and Alba tells Rebeca that this is short term
because she will get back at Maria
CASA SAN
ROMAN (STUDY)
Esteban,
Fabiola, Demetrio, Bruno, Daniela y Carmela go into the study. Fabiola asks
about Alba, Esteban tells them that she left the house, and Carmela says that
Alba did not leave that Maria threw her out of the house. Everyone is surprised
by the news and Daniela and Fabi tell Esteban that it is not possible that he
would allow Maria to throw Alba out of the house. Esteban tells them that it is
a San Roman Family matter and no one else’s business and that they should talk
about why they are all there. Everyone wonders whether there is actually a
second part of the diary and Bruno says that if Maria is really innocent then
they should all feel bad about the injustice that was committed against her.
Esteban tells him that he is surprised by his change of heart and that they
only way to know the truth is to find the diary. Since Maria’s return someone
has tried to kill her three times, which means that someone knows that the
truth could ruin them. Everyone is quite observing everyone else.
At
Socorro’s house, she and DaVinci argue agian and she tells him that from now on,
he will take care of his own needs and that he will sleep on the couch and they
will no longer share the same bed. Angrily she throws the pillows on the couch.
CASA SAN
ROMAN (DINNING ROOM)
The next
morning everyone is having breakfast
-ANGEL: and
Tia Alba, she hasn’t come down to have breakfast? (Carmela starts crying)
-ESTRELLA:
tía Carmela what is the matter? Why are you crying?
-HECTOR:
Where is Tia Alba?
-ESTEBAN:
tía Alba, left the house
-ESTRELLA:
why?!
-MARIA: I
told her to leave!
(Everyone
is surpised and Estrella gives Maria a death look)

Maria:

Esteban:
Maria is the lady of the house and she deserves to be respected

Alba deserved to leave along with Rebeca
Estrella:
Leaves the dinning room
AT THE
DUQUESA’S........
La
Duquesa decides to give Socorro and Davinci their wedding outfits for the wedding
but needs their sizes
MARIA’S
OFFICE.......
Maria y
Hector are talking about business
Maria:
Hector I don’t agree with some of the points of the contract and I think they
should be revised.
Héctor:
Gets upset and tells her that they are find for him and it doesn’t mean that
she is always right and you are crazy if you think that because you got me out
of jail I am going to do everything you tell me to.
Maria: I
didn’t think you would react like this and if it because of what I told you and

Fabi sets Maria’s shop on fire
HOTEL BAR
Hector
continues talking to Estrella that Vivian is cheating on him with Greco.
Estrella tells him that Vivian is capable of cheating on him, but she cannot
believe that about Greco. Crying Estrella tells him that they are both wrong
and that neither Greco or Vivian deserves them and much less deserve their
suffering. Leonel comes in and tells them that he wants to go see and talk to
Alba alone.
CHURH
Esteban
is there to talk to Padre. And tells Padre that he does not know what to do
with the lie that he created, every day it chokes him more. Padre tells him to
tell the truth. Esteban tells him that he cannot do that and that he did that
to protect his children and asks Padre to understand his reasons. I cannot tell
my kids that their mother killed Leonel’s mother.
Padre: So
tell me why are you here? To look for the truth or to justify yourslef and this
lie
Esteban:
I only want to know what to do
Padre: You
need to tell the truth to be at peace with yourself and if you don’t have the
strength to do it ask Maria to help you. You need to both help eachother and to
let the resentment and personal interest behind you.
Esteban:
Thinking about what Padre has said says, I ask that you forgive this man that
has made so many mistakes in the name of love for his children. Before the
image of Jesus Christ asks for pity because I don’t know what else to do.
(Esteban is sad and about to cry)
At the hotel, Alba, Carmela and Leonel are
talking. Alba tells Leonel to fogive her for what she did, but that she did it
because he deserved to know the truth. Leonel tells them that he knows Maria is
innocent and anyone of them who went on the trip could have killed his mother.
Servando’s letter says that Maria is innocent and also tells them to not try to
turn him against Maria or they will only push him away.
At the church, Esteban is saying goodbye to
Padre and when someone comes running and says that Maria’s shop is on fire. Padre
and Esteban are both surprised and take off to the shop.
FABI AND BRUNO’S HOUSE
Fabi
comes in really nervous and serves herself a drink and tells Bruno that she
went to resolve a problem and it felt good. She doesn’t tell him about what she
did. Bruno tells her that he offered Maria his help to launch her line of
sliver things. Fabi laughs sarcastically.
At Maria’s shop all of the neighbors are
trying to put out the fire. Esteban and Padre arrive just as the firemen get
there.
MARIA’S APARTMENT.
Vivian
tells Maria what happened with Hector when he saw her hugging Greco.
Maria:
Did you explain to him what happened?
Vivian:
No and I don’t plan on doing it. Hector behaved badly and was rude. Besides he
will not listen to me (Maria is saddened by what happened) Just then Esteban
calls and tells Maria that the shop is on fire and she and Vivian take off to
go to the shop.
When she gets to the shop she is surprised
by what she sees. Despite her worry she tells the workers that they will not
loose their jobs, and that together they will build everything again. Esteban
also tells Maria that she has all of his support and help. The firemen put out
the fire and Maria thanks them. They tell Maria that he is sure that someone
did it intentionally. Everyone is surprised to hear this.
Estrella and Hector go up to Alba’s room
and Estrella tells her that she has always been stronger then Maria and not let
her get you.
Alba:
Maria has not beat me but without Esteban’s help I am lost.
Hector:
You are much stronger then Maria Tia.
Alba:
Maria has been very smart and managed to trick Angel, Esteban and Leonel and I
hope that you don’t fall for her tricks. Only Estrella is loyal because you
have soften up towards her Hector.
Carmela:
Yes that is true Hectorcito, you are not like you were with her before. Since
that night you did not come hom.
Hector
sliently listens to them.
Estrella:
Tia you know that I am on your side and I want to get that woman out of our
house. Alba thanks her and hugs her
Alba:
Hopefully you will soon say the same Hector, because only that way will I have
the strength to come back to the house. Without your help I will never be able
to set foot in the house.
ENTRANE TO THE SAN ROMAN HOUSE.
Eteban
and Maria arrive at the house, and Esteban tells her that he is glad that hey
did not loose much in the fire, Maria tells him she is just glad that no one
was hurt, but that she lost a lot of valuable pieces. Esteban one again offers
her his help and support. Maria tells him that she cannot stop thinking about
what the finemen said that it was arson.
Esteban:
do you have any suspects?
Maria: I
don’t think there is any need to mention who my enemies are, anyone of them
could have done it. Although this time you are not a suspect
Esteban:
OH Thank you for your generoscity.
Maria:
I’m sorry but there have been too many attempts against me and everyone is
suspicious including you (Maria goes upstairs)
XOCHIMILCO (SOORRO’S FLOWER STAND)
In the morning
Estrella goes to look for Greco to tell him she never wants to see him agian.
Greco asks why and she tells him because she knows that he is seeing Vivian.
Greco explains that they are only friends and that if she doesn’t want to
believe him it’s her choice. Estrella gets mad and tells Greco that she was
stupid for believeing in his words of love and that she was wrong about because
he is just like all other men.
ESTEBAN’S OFFICE
Esteban
asks Fabi if she had anything to do with the fire at Maria’s shop. Although he
has no proof he tells her that she tries to hurt Maria that she will have to
deal with him. (Fabi smokes)
Fabi: Are
you threatening me?
Esteban:
Just take my words seriously Fabi
Fabi:
These are the consequences of you rejecting me and it is only the beginning
(Esteban grabs her arm)
Esteban:
Don’t you dare because you will deal with someone you don’t like. A Esteban
that you don’t know and that you don’t want to comfront, you are warned. Now
get out of here. (He takes her to the door and throws her out)
A MONTH LATER
DUQUESA’S HOUSE
The
Duquesa tells Socorro that its time she forgive Davinci. Davinci come sin with
a wedding dress and Venturina in tow. Socorro upon seeing her gets really upset
but Davinci explains to her that it is about a surprise to celebrate their 25
years of marriage. Socorro gets really happy at finding out that this whole
time she was wrong and that it was all about organizing the surprise. Socorro
crying takes the dress and dugs Davinci.
SAN ROMAN LIVING ROOM
Maria is
talking to Esteban and tells him that she still has no idea who started the
fire. Esteban tells her that the authorities are still investigating, that he
is glad that everything is working again. He asks her how the event is going
and Maria tells him that Bruno has surprised her and has been great at
organizing the event.
Maria: OK
I need to go becuase I don’t want to be late for the celebration for Socorro
and Davinci.
Esteban:
I’m going too, Rufino invited all of us.
Maria: I
want to say Thank in Socorro’s name at lending them your car to get to the
church. Maria smiles and goes upstairs
Esteban
follow her with his eyes and thinks that Maria has not lost her beauty despite
how she treats and that she is still the same woman he fell in love with and
still loves.
HOSPITAL
The
doctor tells Vivian that she is pregnant and she cries of happiness.
MARIA’S APARTMENT
Vivian
tells Maria that she has been feeling bad and that she went to the doctor and
he told her she was pregnant. Vivian tells her that she is having Hector’s
baby. Maria gets happy and sits next to her
Maria:
You will see that Hector will understand everything when he finds out that he
is going to be a father. Besides I will take care of you and the baby so don’t
worry about anything, after all it;s going to be my grandchild.
Vivian:
Maria you are so good to me.
Maria:
Now be happy because a child is a blessing from God. They both cry and put
their hands to touch the baby.
CHURCH
The
church is arranged with flowers and the guests are waiting for Davinci and
Socorro to arrive . As they arrive everyone cheers
The
ceremony begins and everyone listens to the mass. Hector keeps looks back to
see Vivian, and Estrella is looking at Greco. Leonel is looking at Lupita and
Maria and Esteban keep looking at eachother. Lupita sings Ave Maria and the
mass finishes.
Socorro
and Davinci leave very happy and kiss eachother in front of everyone. The
gardens where they are having the party is decorated with flowers and there is
a mariachis playing.
Vivian
and Greco are walking together smiling and Hector and Estrella are watching
them both. Estrella tells Hector that there is no way to deny that there is
something between them. Vivian approaches Hector and asks if they can talk
privately that she has something important to tell her. Estrella leaves annoyed
Vivian:
can we talk in a more discreet place
Hector:
Whatever you have to tell me, you can tell in front of everyone.
Vivian:
Fine if that is the way you want it so be it. I am pregnant and I am having your
baby. (Hector is shoked)
At the party Esteban congratulates Socorro
and Davinci along with Maria. Once they finish Esteban and Maria walk away.
Esteban:
I am glad to see Rufino’s friends happy.
Maria:
Socorro is a wonderful person along with her husband.
Esteban:
Have you thought that we would be celebrating our 25th anniversary as well.
(They look at each other)
Just then
there is a voice and could it be…

Gerardo:
Maria you are still as beautiful as ever and he kisses her on the cheek

Gerardo:
Maria!!! Ouare still as beautiful as always. (Maria smiles at him)
Esteban:
Gerardo, what are you doing in Mexico?
Gerardo:
I had somethings to take care of and I took the opportunity to say Hello
Esteban:
Our business contract is going quite well
Gerardo:
I know Maria has kept me informed despite the distance we are still in touch
Gerardo
tells them that a Carlos Sanchez told him where to find them. Maria asks
Esteban if he hired Carlos again and tells her that Estrella asked him and he
doesn’t remember saying yes.
Gerardo:
So tell me everything that has been going on in your life (to Maria.)
Esteban:
First and foremost that is new and the most important is that Maria and I are
married. Maria is my wife.
Esteban
puts his arm around Maria’s waist and smiles at Gerardo. Gerardo smiles back
none too happy with the news.
Hector and Vivian continue arguing and
Hector tells her that he doesn’t think that baby is his and for all he knows it
could be Greco’s Vivian slaps him
Vivian:
You are a coward!
Hector:
If I knew that the baby was mine I would ask you to marry me, but when I went
to find you you hid from me and when I did finally find you you were in Greco’s
arms.
Vivian:
Between Greco and I there is nothing. There is only a friendship that is all.
Hector: Stop
with all the mystery. Tell me once and for all what it is that you are hiding
that was so important that made you leave me.
Vivian: I
was in jail and that is were I met Maria, and I was in jail with her.
Hector is
surprised
Hector tells
Vivian that he should have trusted him and told him everything. Vivian tells
him she didn’t have the nerve to tell him and Hector tell her that because of
her lie he doesn’t trust her now and he doubts the baby is his. Vivian is
crying and tells him that despite what he thinks the baby is his.
Gerardo congratulates Maria and Esteban on
their marriage and Leonel comes up with Lupita and greets Gerardo. Angelica the
excutive with Gerardo comes up and meets everyone. Angelia shows a big interest
in leonel and asks him to be her guide so that she can get to know Mexico City.
Lupita watches and is jealous. Gerardo says good bye and invites Maria out to
eat if Esteban is not opposed to it.
Esteban:
Of course I don’t mind.
Gerardo
and Angelica leave and Maria and Esteban are alone.
Esteban:
I imagine that Gerardo’s return has made you very happy (He is asking in a
jealous tone)
Maria: I
am not going to lie, It was good to see him
Esteban:
What I didn’t know was that you kept in contact with him.
Maria:
Like he said for business reasons only. I don’t understand why you are talking
to me like that, like you are jealous.
Esteban:
And what if I was
Maria: I
would tell you you are wasting your time. You know that our marriage is a
contract just like the one we have with Gerardo in which feelings don’t count
(Maria walks away)
Outside the party, Angelica tells Gerardo
that she noticed his interest in Maria and reminds him that she is married.
Gerardo tells her that when he met her she was single and he understands why
they got married and from what he saw they don’t seem to be in love
Angelica:
But she is not available to you now.
Gerardo
smiles: You know me and when have you known me to give up so easily.
At the party see that Hector is leaving the
party and catches up with him. She asks him why he is leaving so soon and why
he is in such a bad mood. Hector tells her he susposes she know that Vivian is
having a baby.
Maria:
And that the baby is yours
Hector:
No! No! That baby is not mine.
Maria: I
always thought that you were a man that faced up to his responsbilities.
Hector: I
have my doubts especially because Vivian lied to me about her past
Maria:
Just because Vivian was in jail does not make her a bad person. She paid for
her crimes.
Hector:
What she does with her life is of no interest to me.
Maria:
Even though she is having your baby.
Hector:
If she lied to me before why should I believe her now.
Maria
tells him that she realizes just how much not having a mother has hurt him. She
tells him that he letting his decisions be based on resentment and pride and
that Vivian has no right to be treated how he is treating her. She hopes that
he reflects on his actions and sees that he is acting implusively and that
jealously clouds our judgement. She assures him that Vivian loves him and that
between her and Greco there is only friendship and to not judge the woman he
loves. He listens to her and leaves.
ALBA’S HOTEL
Fabi
tells Alba that she was the one who started the fire at Maria’s shop but that
it wasn’t worth it because it is still operating and and tells Alba that she
needs to do everything possible to return to the hosue. Alba tells her that she
will not do it until Esteban asks her to but Fabi tells her ath will never
happen since he is upset over what she told Leonel. Fabi tells her to use
Estrella nd Hector to go back to the hosue. Futhermore she should be be far
from her enemy and going back will be the only way to ruin Maria.
PARTY…..
Vivain
along with Maria is talkign to Padre and tells him about her relationship with
Hector and about the baby. She cries and tells Padre that Hector thinks the
baby is Greco’s Padre listens and is surprised. He tells her to be strong and
to have faith in God and to fight for her baby.
Leonel and Pulpo tell Socorro, Davinci, and
Greco that they want to export flowers from the area and that they want Davini
and Greco to run everything.
Maria overhears Esteban talking to AZ over
the phone and asks if he is still seeing her. Esteban tells her he is and Maria
tries to appear like she doesn’t care. She tells him to sit down because they
need to talk about something important related to Vivian.
Maria:
Vivian is pregnant and is having a baby … that is Hector’s
Esteban: Surprised
I’m going to be a grandfather? Vivian is having Hector’s baby. I hand no idea
that there was anything between them. I never imagined that there was anything
between them
Maria:
there are amny things you don’t know about your children.
Esteban:
Don’t start with the accusations Maria Please! And you’re telling me that
Hector doesn’t want to accept that they baby is his
Maria: He
thinks that it’s Greco’s because he Vivian and Greco hugging but Hector
misunderstood everything.
Esteban:
Where is Hector? Let me go talk to him.
Maria: No
No He left already. I tried to talk to him and make him see reason.
Eteban
wants to know why he was so upset over a simple hug and Maria tells him that he
doesn’t trust Vivian because she didn’t tell him that she was in jail and that
we were cell mates.
Esteban
is really surprised now.
MARIA’S APARTMENT
Vivian is
thinking about Hector’s words and at the same time Hector is in a bar thinking
about Vivian.
At the party, Maria talks with Greco and
asks him if Estrella also thinks that there was something between him and
Vivian. Greco tells her that Estrella is convinced of that and even though he
tried to explain she would not listen. Maria tells Greco that if he really
loves Estrella to fight for her especially now that Carlos is working at the
company again and she is sure that he just wants Estrella for her money.
Esteban talks to Angel and Angel asks him
how he knows when love is for real. Esteban tells him that love is a feeling
that cannot be explained but that it is the most beautiful feeling there is.
Meanwhile Esteban loos at Maria talking to Socorro and Angel looks at Alma.
Esteban also tells him that sometimes things work against the people and if
they are separated when the person returns you realize that that love never
died and that they will be in your heart forever.
Greco asks Estrella to dance and she
agrees. While they dance he tells her that he has not forgotten about her.
Estrella asks him if Vivian gets jealous at that. Greco explains to her again
that Vivian is only his friend.
Estrella:
You know I don’t know why we keep talking, between you and I there is nothing
and there will never be anything.
Greco:
You are still the immature girl who throws tantrums and you don’t even realize
that I am talking to you from my heart.
Estrella:
You know what I am tried of dancing and of being here. I’m leaving and she
leaves.
The party contineus and everyone is
dancing. Maria and Esteban are sitting down at a table and drinking tequilla.
The dance continue and the drinks keep flowing between Maria and Esteban. They
are all laughs and having a great time.
CASA SAN ROMAN
Estrella
comes home and the telephone rings. She answers the phone and it is Gerardo
asking for Maria. Estrella very rudely tells him that she is not there and to
call later.
Estrella:
That is all I need to start taking messages for that woman.
The party contiues and Soorro throws the
bouquet and Alma and Lupita both catch it. Esteban and Maria ontinue drinking
while everyone is dancing. Esteban tells her that he has had a great time and
is happy because of her company. She says that she has enjoyed his company as
well. Esteban tells her she has been less aggressive with him. Maria tells him
what is important is that they have had the chance to talk and remember what
one day united them.
Esteban:
We were very happy together despite everything that was against us.
Maria:
That fight was worth it, we got married, had a family
Esteban:
A family that is our primary interest and what unites us now. Esteban laughs
and Maira laughs at him.
Esteabn:
I was just remembering about our secret meetings to see eachother and not be
bothered.
Maria:
Yes, I remember, the kids were little and you and I would esape to this little
hotel that was near your office.
Esteban:
You know that hotel is still there
Maria:
Really???
Esteban:
It’s there waiting for us return one day and make it our complice again.

and Maria arrive at a hotel smiling and holding hands. Daniela drives by in her
care and sees them going into the hotel and cannot believe it.

Daniela
goes into her house and is furious. She tells AZ that she saw Maria and Esteban
going into a hotel together and AZ is very surprised
EN EL HOTEL (CUARTO)

María go into the room. There are candles and flowers everywhere.
Maria:
You remembered! This was our room, the same one we used to get to get away from
everything and everyone. To be alone, Only you and ¡!!!!
Esteban:
Hugs her from behind and he starts to kiss her hair. How could I forget, You
made me so happy in these four walls.

kisses her neck and they start to kiss passionately. Theme music plays in the
background. Maria takes off his jacket and he take off her jacket and she
undoes his tie. He starts to kiss her shoulder while she takes off her shoes.
The two
of them are undressed standing up and they continue kissing. Esteban runs his
hands over her back and she does the same to him.
Next you
see them in bed kissing and covered by bed sheets. Maria is then on top of
Esteban and then then roll around the bed and they are enjoying their love and
night of passion.

and we need to give ourselves time together, and to think about ourselved. He
laughs and says, do you remember our honeymoon…..you were dressed in your
beautiful white dress…. And we just looked out over the beach.

remember, you told me even the ocean is jealous of us and we toasted eachother
and swore to love eachother forever.

And we still love eachother.

There have been so many things that have separated us

Maria sees the video camera and sees that
it recordered Esteban coming in with a raincoat and black gloves. Maria goes upstairs
to his room and tells him that she knows he tried to kill her and that she
can’t trust him. He has also become her number 1 suspect as having killed
Patricia and Luciano. Esteban tells her that he has no idea what the hell she
is talking about but that he is innocent.
María then goes to Carmela’s room and they
have a very touching scene. Maria sees her dressing her dolls and Maria tells
her that she can see that she has kept the dolls that she gave her. Carmela
tells her yes and that Maria has been the only one that never made fun of her
for her doll collection.
Maria sits on the bed and talks to Carmela.
Maria tells her that she has a big heart and she has always known that is why
Alba manipulates her. She knows that Angel is her son and that the proof is
that they both have big hearts like children that are pure and innocent. Maria
goes on to tell her that she should not give up her son or the joy of having
him call her mother. She understands her and knows her pain at not being about
to also call Estrella and Hector HIJOS and that their rejection is very
painful. But she, Carmela, should tell Angel the truth and allow themselves to
be happy and that Angel needs her. They hug and Carmela lets all of her tears
out and Maria tells her to let it out and that heaven will ompensate her for
her tears. Maria reminds her that she is not here for get revenge but that if
she is attacked she will have to attack as well. Maria tells her that if she
one day tells Angel the truth she can count on Maria’s support.
Carlos appears distributing papers in his
messenge uniform and he is pushing around his mail cart. He talks to Lupita
about Pulpo’s decision and she puts him in his place, and reminds him that he
is not qualified for anything. Furthermore he got what he wanted to not have
his father recognize him as his son. She then sends him out to the market to
pick up a few things that the office needs.
Maria then visists Vivian and reminds her
that she has her support and they are going to decorate the baby’s room, and
Vivian tells her that Hector pushed her away.
Maria comes to the office with Gerardo and
they run into Esteban, they talk about the new proposal that Gerardo wants to
do but he will only deal once again with Maria.
Gerardo tells Esteban that he does not
understand how he could allow his wife to be attack. Doesn’t he care that she
was working late and that is the reason why she was attacked. Esteban tells him
to but out of his personal life.
Maria goes to see Esteban and she tells him
that his jealously is getting in the way of business and that there is no room
for this at this level of business. Furthermore, that if he is running around
with Ana Zorra she every right do with her life what she wants.
The next morning, Estrella tells Esteban
that if Alba does not return, she is going to leave. Esteban tells her good
luck on her own and to not let the door hit her on the way out. Maria tells
Estrella not to go anywhere and that this has always been her house and that
she will talk to Alba so that she can return.
Angel looks at Maria with love and Carmela
just smiles at her. Esteban gives her a funny look like he is not sure what to
say.
Estrella goes to the hotel and tells Alba
and loyal dog Rebeca that they can return to the house. Alba tells Estrella
that they have to stay united to get rid of Maria.
Maria and Esteban come home and each one
goes his own way. Maira sees the picture of the false mother and she asks
Esteban if he tells had the pictures put back. He tells her that he had nothing
to do with it, and orders them be removed. Alba comes in and tells that she had
them put up and Esteban shuts her up and has them removed.
Maria goes up the stairs and Alba goes
after her and tells her that she is not going to get away with things and that
she is going to accuse her of having pushed her downt he stairs. Alba throws
herself down the stiars. Maria screams no Alba. Rebeca comes in with the piture
in hand and sees Alba fall down the stairs. Hector and Estrella come in and see
their aunt on the floor screaming and rying and see Maria coming down the
stairs. Alba blames Maria as having pushed her and says that Rebeca saw her,
who agrees with her.
Carmela comes in and the brats start
screaming horrible things at Maria telling her that she is a murderer and that
they hate her and they want her out of the house. Maria denies everything and
Estrella reminds her that if she was in jail for having killed someone she is
capable of throwing Alba down the stairs. They continue to scream at her and
tell her to leave the house.
Maria very upset goes to the door and
leaves the hosue. Maria is shaking from what the brats of her children have
said but she manages to leave. She tells them that she doesn’t hold anything
against them and only wants what is best for them. She tells them want them to
be happy and that despite all of her efforts she never managed to gain their
affection. She continues crying and walks out the door and tells them good bye
forever.
A while later Esteban comes up from the
basement and they tell him that Maria pushed Alba down the stairs. Esteban
calls Maira so that he can get her verison. No one tells him anything as he
continues to call her. When he ralizes that Maria is not there he gets really
ticked and starts to scream at the kids and Alba. He demands to know where
Maria is.
Then we see scenes of Maria walking the
streets crying remembering her life. She leans against a tree and crying at the
thought that she has lost her children forever.
Demetrio asks AR for forgiveness for having
abused her as a child and she tellshim everything is forgotten. She thinks to
herself that she is going to make him pay for it.
Also in this episode Alba offers Alma money
to leave Angel alone.
Leonel kisses
Angelia. Greco goes to look for Estrella and she treats him like crap. The
vultures also appear and Fabi admits to having burned Maria’s shop.

tells Carmela that Maria was tricking her, and that she is capable of anything
and that what she wants to do is to seperate them. That she is not going to let
Carmela betray her and be on Maria’s side (Carmela just listens to her and
doesn’t say anything).
ESTRELLA’S
ROOM…
Hector
and Estrella are both each deep in thought and feel bad over what they did to
Maria and making her leave the hosue. But they try to make the other believe
that they are happy that Maria left. Angel comes into the room and tells them
that he is going to look for Maria.
Hector:
Angel Maria wanted to leave.
Angel: Oh
NO! She was pressured by you two which is not the same things as wanting to
leave. You are both so arrogant that you don’t realize that Maria just wants to
give you both love.
Estrella:
Well Maria pushed Tia down the stairs.
Hector:
If she was so kind she would not have done that.
Angel:
Excuse me but I am not going to be fooled so easily (Angel leaves)
Hector
tells Estrella that he feels bad that Maria left. Estrella says that she feels
the same way.
Esteban
continues to look for Maria and thinks that she is suffering beause of her
children’s rejection and that he is guilty for that.
FABI AND
BRUNO’S HOUSE….
Fabi gets
a call from Alba who tells her that she got Maria out of the house and Fabi is
happy to hear the news and thanks Alba for getting Maria out of her way. Alba
tells her to not even think about getting near Esteban because she will then
have her as an enemy.
DANI AND
DEME’S HOUSE.
Daniela
and AZ are upset beaue Esteban has not come by to see her and the phone rings
and it’f Fabi calling to tell her that Alba got Maria thrown out of the house.
AZ is really happy and says that she is now in the perfect position to comfort
Esteban.
In his
car, Esteban calls Lupita and asks if Maria is in the office or if she is at
the shop. Lupita tells him that she is no where to be found. Gerardo is with
Lupita and overhears that Maria cannot be found and wants to speak to Esteban.
Gerardo:
What is the matter Esteban where is Maria?
Esteban:
I don’t think I need to answer to you about the where abouts of my wife.
Gerardo: Why
don’t you let her be free?
Esteban:
Stay out of our lives!!!!
Gerardo:
I don’t care what you think, I am going to look for her as well.
Lupita
and Alma both comment that Gerardo is interested in Maria and that no one knows
where she is. Lupita tells Alma that since she married El Sr San Roman, they
all treat her like dirt and don’t accrpt her. Alma says that she fears that
they will do the same when they find out about her and Angel.
CHURCH…..
Esteban
tells Padre that Maria left the house beause Hector and Estrella threw her out.
Padre:
Nothing moves those kids
Esteban:
I should have never put up those pictures, or to have them nearly worship that
woman. I am desperate Father, I can’t find Maria.
Padre:
Let’s pray, that nothing bad happens to her and that you find her.
Esteban:
I am hurting that she is suffering so much and that I don’t know where to find
her.
Padre:
Pray to God, to guide you to find her
SOCORROS’
HOSUE…
Vivian
tells Socorro that Maria is missing and left the house because of Hector and
Estrella’s attacks, and that she has given up. Socorro tells Vivian that those
kids are terrible. Socorro tells Vivian that they need to pray for Maria.
As night
approaches Maria is still walking the streets and in front of a wedding shop
she rememebrs when she married Esteban.
Maria
says to herself that she married Esteban for her children not for love. Maria
gets to a park and sits on a bench and sees a mother going by with her
children. Maria then remembers when the doctor told her she was going to have a
baby. She remembers buying baby furniture for the baby. She and Esteban seeing
and holding Hector for the first time. She then remembers feeding Hector and
giving the kids a bath and playing with them in the house and giving them lots
of love. She then remembers being put in jail and Alba telling her that the
kids think that she was their father’s lover when their mother was alive. She
remembers running into Estrella in Xohimilo and Estrella telling her that she
is sick of seeing her everywhere. When she is about to tell them that she is
their mother and Hecotr sreams at her and tells her that her tears don’t move
him and that they don’t are what she has to say. When Esteban is in the
hospital and she calls them HIJOS and they sream at her and tell her not to
call them that that she is only their stepmother.
Maria is
cryign unontrollably while there is thunder and lightening in the background.
Esteban
ontinues to look for her and goes by the same wedding shop and wonders where
she is.
ESTRELLA’S
ROOM SAN ROMAN HOSUE. …
Leonel is
sreaming at Hector and Estrella asking them how they can be capable of doing
that to Maria. Angel tells them that he went to look for her but wasn’t about
to find her.
Leonel:
Hector and Estrella you both need to change your attitude. Maria is a wonderful
woman.
Estrella:
What you want us to change our mnids about her and that we accept her?
Hector:
She is only our father’s wife, not our mother.
Leonel:
Maria is!.... Maria is a wonderful woman, and if you are honest with yourselves
you would recognize it. You barely remember your mother and Maria has always
been here for you both even when you both say she is not your mother she love
like she was. Hector and Estrella are listening to Leonel feeling guilty and
Leonel crying tells them to not waste the opportunity to have in Maria and
Esteban a real family. He tells them that he would give anything to have what
you both are throwing away. No family is perfect, and tells them to think about
what they are doing. Leonel dries his tars and Hector and Estrella who are both
about to cry don’t say anything.
In Alba’s
room, Carmela tells her that Leonel is talking to Hector and Estrella. Alba
thinks that Leonel is trying to convince them that they were wrong in running Maria
from the house and asks about Esteban
Carmela:
Well since he left to go look for Mary he has not come back.
Alba: I
hope that wretched woman never appears again.
FABI AND
BRUNO HOUSE….
Bruno,
Fabiola, Demetrio y Daniela about what happened with María, Fabiolais happy and
says that she hopes Maria disappears forever and everyone thinks that would be
the best thing. Because is Esteban is so upset he would not have an interest in
the company and then Bruno and Deme would be in charge of the company.
Daniela:
Let;s hoep Maria doesn’t appear that way she can leave us alone.
Bruno: As
Esteban’s friends we should go to the house to give him our support.
Esteban
gets to the park that Maria is at and goes to the same bench Maira was at.
Esteban asks God to help him find Maria. (The lightening and thunder continue)
It starts
raining and Deme, Dani, Bruno and Fabi are thinking and smoking. They are
overjoyed because has left and think that she could no longer take her
chlidrens’ rejection and even though none of them are parents they imagine that
a child’s reject is the worst thing that can happen. Fabi, Bruno and Deme are
all squiriming in their seats with that comment.
Fabi: I
just hope that Maria not only left the house but also Esteban’s life as well.
Daniela:
So that you have the path clear? Oh sorry that was only a joke.
Fabi: and
in very bad taste.
Daniela:
The only person who has any possibilities to be in Esteban’s life is Ana Zorra
and no one else.
CHURCH…..
Socorro,
Vivian, Greco, Lupita, DaVini, Pulpo, Duquesa, and other neighbors in
Xochimilco are asking Parde if Maria has appeared, but Padre tells them that he
has not hear anything. Padre tells them that they should all go pray that she
appears.
IN THE
PARK….
The rain
is really coming down now and Esteban manages to find Maria who is walking
towards him. Esteban runs towards her and hugs her telling her.
Esteban:
My Maria, My Maria, I was so scare I would not find out. My love I lost you
once and I am not going to loose you again. (They kiss)
Maira:
you should not have looked for me, my children hate me and I want to disappear
from thier lives forever.
Esteban:
No No you have keep fighting.
Maria:
there is no point, despite all of my efforts they don’t love me and I have no
energy to fight anymore.
Esteban:
You can’t stop now Maria
Maria:
(really angry) You shoudl have thought of that before divorcing me, and making
my children think I was dead. It’s your fault Esteban!
Esteban: I
know my love, I know, that is why I toolk those pictures down, to get that
woman out of the house and our lives and so that things change in our lives.
Maria:
But it wasn’t enough, they will only see me as their stepmother and as someone
trying to take the place of their mother, the place that rightfully belongs to
me and that you took from me.
Esteban:
Don’t continue to blame me please. It’s something that has cost me a lot as
well.
Maria:
You took my children away from me, and you left me in jail. You killed my
memory and took me from their hearts
Esteban:Yes,
I know I am to blame, but I didn’t have an alternative, when you were put in
jail you ended my life and left me alone with the children.
Maria: I
can’t trust you in again. You killed the hope I had left, why do you hurt me so
much??? I hate you Esteban San Roman! For all of the hurt you have brought to
my life. (she hits him on the chest). I hate you!!
Maria and
Esteban are both Crying and she falls to her knees and he falls with her and
hugs her as the rian falls

and Esteban continue in the park under the rain.
PARK….
Esteban:
Forgive me for everythng I have done to you Maria. Despite all of my mistakes
and things I have done, there is only thing in my life that has remained pure
and sincere that is my love for you. I have never been able to find a woman to
take your take your place in my heart. I have looked for women with your image
but no one ever has. You are under my skin my soul and my heart. My heart has
always belonged and will belong to you Maria.
Maria:
and what good does your love serve if our lives are destroyed. What once united
us, now separates us. It’s too late now for love, the little trust I had is now
destroyed.
Esteban:
Gets her up and tells her that if there is love, nothing is impossible. We are
going to get that trust back through the truth. (Maria and Esteban kiss)
SAN ROMAN
HOSUE…..
If only
Estrella and Hector knew that Maria was their mother. Estrella and Hector are
both worried because it’s late and there is no word about Maria and Esteban.
Estrella says that they should not have told Maria to leave the house. Leonel
tells them that he hopes this makes them think twice and realize that Maria is
not a bad person and she wants to give them a mother’s love that they missed
out on.
In the
park Maria and Esteban go towards his car and Maria asks Esteban to take her to
her apartment, and that tomorrow will be another day, and that things will be
clearer in the morning. She will be back at the house tomorrow to continue to
fight for her children.
SAN ROMAN
HOUSE.
Esteban
tells his children and Leonel that Maria will stay at Vivian’s tonight and that
she will be back tomorrow. He also reminds them that Maira is his wife and the
woman he loves and demands they respect her. (Esteban leaves)
MARIA’S
APARTMENT…
Vivian
tells Maria that she is glad that she is OK,and Maria tells her it was not her
intention to worry everyone, but that she felt terrible after her chidlren ran
her from that house. She tells Vivian that she has to think through what she is
going to do because she has not been able to regain her children. (the doorbell
rings, and it’s Gerardo who comes in and sits with Maria.
Gerardo:
Maria where were you? We were all worried about you, how are you?
Maria:
Don’t worry I’m OK
Gerardo:
You know that you can count on me for anything. (he takes her hands)
Maria:
Gerardo, you are a good friend, but I feel uncomfortable with you being so close,
and you have brought me problems.
Gerardo:
I understand, but I repeat that I am going to fight for your love, and win yoru
heart. (Maria doesn’t know what to say and only looks at Vivian)
SAN ROMAN
HOUSE – ALBA’S ROOM….
Alba asks
Esteban if Maria is going to come back to the house and if he does not care
about her and she is disappointed by his attitude.
Esteban:
Maria reassures me that she did not push you.
Alba: And
what you think I threw myself down the stairs, Please!
Esteban:
In other circumstances I would never doubt your word, but things are different
now. You were capable of telling Leonel that Maria was accused of kiling his
mother, well you are capabel of anything.
Alba:
(crying) How can you doubt me, I have given up my life for you.
Esteban:
I am not blind, and I know that you have done a lot for me, but I also know
that you have done everything to separate me from Maria. Listen very clearly,
or you change your attitude, or Maria and I will leave and go live somewhere
else…. Alone! (Esteban leaves the room and Alba throws the things off of her
dresser.)
MARIA’S
APARTMENT….
In the
morning, Maria and Vivian are talking over breakfast, and Vivian tells Maira
that she is upset because she woudl like Hector to enjoy her pregnancy with
her. Maria encourages her and tells her not to give up. Maria tells Vivian that
to win her children’s love she has to be stronger and stop crying.
DEME AND
DANIELA’S HOUSE (AZ’S ROOM)
AZ is
crying telling Esteban that she cannot live without him and that if he leaves
her she is going to kill herself. Esteban is desperate and tells her to try to
understand that he loves Maria and that he wants to be happy at her side. That
if she really loved him she would understnad. AZ tells him that if their baby
had lived she would have a reason to live and that she is so alone.
SAN ROMAN
HOUSE (ANGEL’S ROOM)
Carmela
goes to his room and tells Angel she is glad that Maria cameb back and is OK.
Angel:
Yes, I’m glad,. I just hope she comes back home
Carmela:
Here between us, while Alba was gone, I got the opportunity to get to know
Maria and she was so good to me.
Angels
gets really happy at hearing this, while Rebeca overhears the conversation.
Carmela:
You see I understand Maria really well, and I understand why she married Esteban.
Angel:
Why Tia? Why did she marry Dad?
Carmela:
Well… All I can tell you is that it was for an important reason and a
connection that no one can break. You unstand me right? Don’t worry. Why are
you so handsome? Give me a kiss on the cheek (He kisses her and they both
laugh)
MARIA’S
OFFICE
Esteban
asks Maria when she is coming back to the house. She tells him that she doesn’t
know and that she is thinking about it. She doesn’t want to inturude on her
children. Esteban says he does not understand and asks her again when she is
coming back or if she is thinking of coming back. Maria doesn’t answer him and
says that it may be better for her not to return.
Esteban:
No you have to come back to the house!!!
Maria: Why
are you insisting so much? Oh you want to have me near by so that you can take
the letter or maybe to kill me?
Esteban:
I was wondering how long it would take you to bring it up!! (there is a knock
on the door and it’s Gerardo)
Gerardo
gives Esteban some papers about their business contract, and Esteban invites
Gerardo to dinner at the house. He accepts and kisses Maria on the hand.
Gerardo leaves. Esteban then asks Maria if the reason she does not want to come
back is Gerardo? Maria tells him that just liek he has a wife and a mistress
she can do the same.
SAN ROMAN
HOSUE – ALBA’S ROOM
Rebeca
tells Alna what she heard Carmela say about Maria and Alba gets upset and says
that she will not tolerate Carmela’s treason and that she doesn’t care if she
has to fight her own sister.
SAN ROMAN
LIVING ROOM
Fabi and
Bruno arrive along with Rufino Sanchez for dinner. Esteban greets them
introduces Alba and Carmela to Pulpo. Leonel arrives with Angelica and
introduces her to everyone. Drinks are served while Carmela and Pulpo get along
marvelously. Angel comes to the house and introduces Alma as his girlfriend.
Esteban, Estrella, and Hector are happy with the news and congratulate Angel.
Leonel does the same. Fabi asks in a snotty tone if that isn’t one of the secretaries
of the company. Angel tells her that she is and that she is his girlfriend.
Just then Maria arrives with Gerardo for dinner and Alba and Fabi are both
surprised. Esteban is upset by seeing her with Gerardo.
During
the reunion…
Alba:
What are you doing here? Hector and Estrella ran you from thsi house!!!
Maria: I
am free to do what I want and when I want.
Alba: You
better listen to me!! Maria leaves Alba alone in mid sentence.
Maria
tells Esteban that she wants to talk to him and the kids alone in the study.
THE
STUDY….
Maria
tells them that she is only there to pik up her things and tells Esteban that
she wants a divorce. That she has thought things through and thinks it is the
best thing to solve things so that Hector and Estrella can be happy. That the
only thing she wants is their happiness and that is why she is leaving. Esteban
asks if she is sure about what she has just said and she tells him Yes.
Estrella gets really nervous and says that there is no need to take such a
drastic step and leaves the room crying. Hector tells her that he has no idea
what to say Maria tells him that there is nothing to says that maybe they will
then realize that she is not a bad person but that she wants to talk to
Estrella one last time before she leaves.
Maria leaves
the study and Esteban looks like he is about to cry and Angel puts his hand on
him for support.
In the
garden of the San Roman house, Estrella is sitting on a bench crying.
Maria
approaches her
Maria:
Estrella, Estrella!
Estrella:
Leave me alone please
Maria:
that is what I am going to do, but I want to know first why you are crying, I
would have thought my leaving would make you happy. (she sits down next to
Estrella)
Estrella:
I should be (cying) but I don’t know why I’m not. Something in my heart makes
me sad. Maybe I am going to miss you and I won’t have anyone to fight with.
Maybe I was getting used to the idea of having you around, after all you are my
father’s wife. But don’t think that I am going to accept you and if you want to
go, don’t let me stop you!!! Just like I got used to having you here I will get
used to you not being here (she gets up crying). I should hate you but I
can’t!!! Maria is relived to hear this. Estrella tells her that she is
occupying a place that doesn’t belong to her. (Maria gets up)
Maria:
You’re right I am occupying a place that doesn’t belong to me. I should not be
your stepmother (Maria starts to cry as well)
Estrella:
What is it about you that keeps me from hating you?
Maria: Maybe
you are scared to love me and that is why you push me away.
Estrella:
I’m not a bad person. I’m just onfused, My God I grew up alone! I grew up
without a mother’s love. If I had had a mother I would b a completely different
person, I would be a wonderful woman I would be the best!!!
Maria:
Estrella if I could not be your mother let me be your friend. (she takes
Estrella’s hands) I don’t want to be your stepmother (Maria and Estrella hug
and both are crying.)
Maira: My
daughter let me love you! Let me love you!
Estrella
is crying in her mother’s arms and Maria hugs her back crying as well.
WEDNESDAY
- JULY20TH - EPISODE 86 Author: Eugenia (---) Date: 07-16-05 07:27 PDT
The episode begins with the scene from last
night between Maria and Estrella. Just then Esteban comes up and asks Estrella
if he can talk to Maria alone. He tells Maria to think about her decision and
Maria tells him that she has thought about it and that her conversation with
Estrella has made her realize that her efforts are paying off
In the living room everyoen is wondering
what happend in the study and why they are taking so long. Alba takes the
opportunity to sit next to Alma and remind her that she wants her to stay away
from Angel and that the only reason she wants to be with him is for his money.
Alma tells her that she would love Angel the same even if he was poor.
Gerardo, Angelia and Leonel are talking and
so are Carmela and Pulpo (who by the way are flirting with each other and agree
to continue to see eachother in their respective homes)
Maria comes back to the study and she has
thought about her decision and want to ask the three of them if it will bother
them to have her in the house. They all say No. Angel is the first to agree and
Estrella agrees with a mixture of sadness and relief at the same time, all the
while a tear rolls down her face.
At Pulpo’s house, Soorro and Oso are
visitng Venturina and the kids and just then Carlos comes in to threathen the
kids. He argues with Socorro and she slaps him. Carlos tells them that they are
all miserable and that all they are after is Pulpo’s money. Socorro runs him
out of the house.
Back at the San Roman House. Gerardo takes
advantage of announcing the new contract that he wants to sign with the
Empresas but only if Maria is the one who represents the company. Daniela, Deme
and Fabi are all opposed to it and Esteban says that it will be just as Gerardo
says. Angelica asks why they are all opposed to Maria representing them, that
she has shown to be a very smart business woman. Carmela who has been drinking
says that she is in complete agreement, that Maria is very good and smiles at
Maria. Meanwhile Alba gives Carmela death looks.
Alba goes to annouce that dinner is ready
and Maria interupts her and thanks Alba for always being so attentive to things
when she is not around and tells everyone that dinner is served. As they all go
to the dinning room, Alba grabs Carmela warns her to never be on Maria’s side
again muh less in public
After dinner everyone is once again in the
living room and Maria reminds them that the following day is the jewlery show
for her company. Carmela annouces that Alba will not be able to go because of
the accident she suffered. Gerardo asks what accident and Esteban looks at Alba
as if to say that she will stay quite and says that she tripped and fell down
the stairs.
They show Hector drinking and thinking
about Vivian. Then they show Vivian sitting in her living room thinking about
Hector. Estrella tells Hector to stop drinking and he tells her that he needs
to forget Vivian.
Maria goes to talk to Angel and Alma tells
them that she is happy for them and she is proud of both of them for not hiding
their love.
Pulpo comes home and the tell him what
happened with Carlos. Pulpo says that he is sorry about what happened and
promises to protect the kids from Carlos.
All of the guests have left the house and
at the enterance Gerardo is saying goodbye to Maria and telling her that he
still loves her. Esteban overhears this and throws the door open to his study
giving Gerardo a death look. Jealous much Esteban????
Angelica and Gerardo comment to each other
that they will be in Mexico a few days more so that she an get close to Leonel
and him to Maria. Angelica comment that there is a lot of tension in the San
Roman marriage.
THE NEXT DAY…..
Greco
goes to see the tree where he and Estrella craved their names. Estrella is in
the garden craving a G in a tree when Alba comes up and talks about Greco in a
demeaning way. Estrella tells her to butt out of her life and Alba tells her
that she is acting very strange since the reunion with Maria in the study.
Estrella tells her that she is going to tell her what happened and all she will
say that she (Estrella) and Hector are not going to be opposed to Maria living
in the house. Estrella leaves and Alba gets upset.
Pulpo goes to Carlos’ apartment and tells
him to not go to his house again and that he is not going to get a penny from
him.
Socorro is working in the garden again and
Socorro goes to talk to him
Estrella goes to the basement to see the
picture of the false mother and cries, and asks for forgiveness for changing
her attitude toward Maria. She does not want to feel like she has betrayed her
for not making Maria’s life hell and that maybe Maria is right in saying that
she is just scared to let her love her.
Maria is coming down the stairs and Carmela
comes up to her and tells her that she is happy that she is back in the house
but to not let Alba know because she is scared. Maria tells her to not be
scared and that she has to stand up to Alba. Carmela tells her that since they
were little that their father always favored Alba for being so pretty and
smart. He used to always tell her that she had to listen and obey Alba. Carmela
tells her that she is not as strong as Alba. Maria makes a face of sadness and
caring. Carmela tells Maria that she admires her strength that if she had just
a little bit of that she would be able to put Alba in her place.
Angel and Alma are kissing in the office
and Alma tells him that everyone treated her very nicely except for Alba.
THE NIGHT OF THE EVENT
Bruno
makes Fabi go to Maria’s show
Maria is at the show nervously talkign to
Vivian, Soorro and the Duquesa while AZ is hiding and looks in a mirror and says
that Maria has no idea what is going to happen.
The event starts, all very elegant. The
presenter welcomes the press and all of the invited guests. The announcer
intoducces Maria who comes out in a beautiful dress
Maria tells the public how Mexico is the
primary producer and exporter of silver. She also tells them about the
wonderful artists who work the silver and the show begins with models wearing
black displaying the jewlery.
The press surrounds Maria, and they have a
photo shoot with the models, and the artists who work with her.
Maria tells the press why she named her
company what she did and in the middle of the interview Ana Rosa comes out
dressed in red and black gloves and tells everyone that Maria learned to work
the silver while she was jail for VEEEEEEIIIIINNNNTTTTEEEE anos. Maria is
surprised and Ana Rosa asks her if that is true. The reporters ask Maria if she
was in jail. Maria in shock only hears the press in an echo and looks at AZ
like she wants to reah across the room and rip her head off. Maria with so much
class just keeps looking a AZ and Esteban loolks at AZ like he wants to kill
her.
THURSDAY

to be embrassed. You have all seen her work and the quality of the jewlery.
Bruno: We
should also think about her associates.
Maria:
Please come and meet my associates.
Esteban
to AZ: Do you realice what you have done to Maria, she is my wife.
AZ: I
love you and she kisses him
Maria
sees them horrified.
The press
takes pictures of Pulpo and his family
Pulpo:
Did you hear that tomorrow you will all be in the paper. Just then a dancer
cmes by
Dancer:
Hi do you remember me?
Pulpo: Of
ourse I remember you, you danced at Socorro’s and Davini’s party.
Carmela,
Daniela and Fabi all comment on what happened….
Fabi:
What a great surprise that AZ pulled.
Carmela:
I don’t like that she kissed him
Daniela:
Remember that AZ lost Esteban’s baby

FRIDAY - JULY22ND - EPISODE 88 Author: Eugenia

It begins with Pulpo getting the Dancer
Slut into a taxi.
Maria, Socorro and The Duquesa are all
having coffee to celebrate the the show and Duquesa tells Maria that she
slapped Hector for treating Vivian badly.
Vivian is at the shop and startst o feel
bad again and decides to go to the doctor to make sure everything is OK with
the baby
Later on at the Empresas Maria asks Leonel
to let her go to the cabin again to get away and to look for clues. Leonel
gives Maria the keys and tells her she should not go alone because she runs too
much danger. She insists on going alone.
As Maria is leaving Leonel’s office Bruno
comes in and she thanks him for all of his help and tells him that she will
have a check for him. He refuses and she tells him she is not going to take
favors from anyone.
When Maria leaves Leonel tells Bruno that
he is worried because Maria wants to go tot he cabin alone. Bruno gets worried
face and tells Leonel that Maria should not be going alone because she is in
too much danger.
Later on Maria and Estreban are in a
resturant and he tells her that she should not be going alone to the cabin and
that she is in too much danger and offers to go with her but she refuses his
company and reminds him that he is also one of her suspects. She also tells him
she is surprised he worries about her given that she things he could have traed
to hurt her in the past. (Does this woman ever give up on poor Esteban?)
Esteban tells her that he still loves her
as intensely as he has ever done and tells her not to deny her feeling either.
He tells Maria that he loves her as much as she loves him. He loves her with
his soul, body and heart. He tells her to tell the truth where her feelings are
for him are concerned and Maria doesn’t say a word.
Leonel is leaving the office and offers to
take Lupita home when Angelica come sout of the elevator and is looking for
Leonel so that they can go to dinner. He tells her no and tells her that he is
taking Lupita out to dinner and then home. Angelica asks him if there is
anything between him and Lupita and he tells her not yet, and Lupita smiles
Angelica gets upset and says that she is
not going to let some insignifcant seretary take Leonel from her.
At the San Roman house Carmela is in her
room, playing with her dolls and crying. Alba comes in and Carmela tells her
that she cannot get over the losr of her child and Carmela tells her that it
was strange how the baby was so healthy and suddenly died. Alba makes a strange
face and the suspious music plays in the background.
Alba tells Carmela that it hurt a lot as
well and it breaks her heart when she remembers going to the crib and seeing
the baby dead. It was because of that pain that she has shared Angel with her
all these years with the condition of never revealing who his real mother was.
Alba hugs Carmela and tells her not to cry anymore. Alba’s eyes are full of
guilt, sandez, confusion, and regret.
Leonel takes Lupita to Xochimilco and he
tells her that when she said she was going to quit it made him think a lot.
Leonel confesses his love to Lupita and asks her to be his girlfriend.
Maria is traveling in a gray mini-van, very
elegant and confortable thinking about Esteban’s words. Just then her cell
phone rings and Vivian tells her that she is having problems with the baby.
Maria decides to return and to take Vivian to the dotor.
At the same time a SUV is getting to the
cabin and you see a person going incide the cabin and the break the lock to get
in. This person has a black raincoat and black gloves. They take out a gun and
points it at something as to get ready for someone to come in.
Leonel gets to the cabin and parks his car
and goes in to look for Maria. He is there to make sure that she is not alone
and to make sure she is OK. He goes through all the rooms looking for Maria and
calling her name.
In Xochimilco Socorro is talking to Lupita
who tells her mother that she and leonel are now dating. Socorro tells her that
she is scared that she is going to get hurt. Lupita tells her that she is happy
because her dream has come true.
Leonel sits on the second floor of the
cabin where there is a sitting room and chiminey and he waits for Maria to
arrive but she never does. He goes out to look for her just then the mysterious
person in the Black raincoat sees Leonel comino towards the door. When the
killer tries to escape they trip and makes a noise. Leonel goes alter them and
asks if it is Maria, when they don’t aswer he screams “whose there?” He follows
the person outside but the person gets into a car and when Leonel gets in the
way to stop them, the person shoots him and Leonel falls to the floor. The
person escapes.
A while later Bruno gets home quite
agitaged and nervous. Fabi comes in and asks where he has been and he starts screaming
at her telling her that he is going to take her to that place where they
abandoned their child to see what he has turned into. He tells her that she is
the worst of all women becuase not even the worst beasts abandon their young.
He leaves the room and Fabi falls to the floor and starts to cry as the
conversation they just had plays in her mind.
Esteban gets to the cabin in his car and
finds Leonel on the floor. He gets him and sees that his ear is bleeding. He
helps him clean it and Leonel tells him what happened. He asks Esteban why he
came to the cabin and Esteban has a suspicious look on his face.
Inside the cabin, Esteban tells him that he
not to worry about Maria that she had to return to the city because Vivian was
having a problem with the baby. Leonel asks Esteban again what he was doing
there if he knew that Maria was back in Mexico. Esteban tells him that he knew
that Leonel would go there to make sure Maria was OK and he wanted to tell him
everything was OK. Leonel asks him why ot just call him on his cell phone and
Esteban tells him that he tried but htat there is no reception on there and
then called the cabin phone and that he figured he was there because it was
busy. Leonel goes to pick up the phone and someone didn’t hang it up right and
it had a busy signal.
Angel comes home, and Alba and Carmela ask
him why he is home so late. He tells them he went to dinner and a movie with
his girlfriend. Alba makes a comment and he defends Alma says he is going to
sleep. Alba tells Carmela that she is going to make sure they are no longer
together, but she is not going to tell her so that she does not run to Angel to
tell him.
Estrella is getting ready to go out with
Maggie when Greco calls one of them.
Leonel and Esteban look over the cabin and
Leonel tells Esteban that the same person that killed his mother is also trying
to kill Maria and that she is in a lot of danger. Esteban looks at Leonel
really nervous.
Maria gets to Vivian’s and tells her that she
has to take care of herself and that thank God everything is OK. Vivian asks
Maria what its like to be a mother and Maria tells her what her concept of
motherhood is. Vivian asks Maria to be her baby’s godmother and tells her to
look after the baby should anything happen to her. That she has the feeling
that she is going to die young. Maria tells her to just take care of herself
and that she will be a wonderful mother.
THE NEXT DAY….
Pulpo,
DaVinci, and Greco are all talking about the exporation of flowers and Greco
agrees to talk to Leonel and get everything going forthe negociations.
Carlos is making some copies and he maks a
stupid comment to Alma and she tells basically puts him in his place by telling
him he just the messenger.
Leonel and Maria talk in the office about
what happened and Maria asks why Esteban was at the cabin. She lets it be known
that she is susipious of him and she goes to his office to call him on it.

2005 WEEK 19
Telenovela-World: can y'all bring me up to speed, please? Author: doris

back after 2 1/2 weeks of vacation and tried to read some of the posts (my
favorite being the "series of unfortunate rants"- roflol!-the title
alone made me want to read it),
but with
150 emails to go thru, the six loads of laundry I had to do today (and now
iron!!!), there is just no way I can go back and read all the posts here on LM
and figure out what has happened. After an hour I had to give up.
What I have gathered, though, is that I
have missed some great stuff. aaaaarrrrrggghhh!
Would someone be so kind as to give me a
brief outline of what has happened? I would appreciate it.

omg...what has happened in two weeks?
lessee...actually, the only different things were the new slutty assistant to
gerardo who's trying to get leonel. the stripper from MAHRya's show knows
cadenas and they're gonna try to get pulpo's money away from him. carlos got
his job back at the empresas, but pulpo demoted him to a messenger and isn't
paying him as much as carlos thinks he should be paid, and estrella just found
out and wants to get carlos his job back, but he pretends to be noble and sez
he'll just be a messenger. the rest has just kinda been a rehash of the crying
and whining everyone does.
oh...fabiola set fahr to MAHRya's
cinderblock building with metal doors. really, she only set the sidewalk on
fahr and they had the entire neighbourhood out trying to douse it. fabi almost
set herSELF on fahr, too. quite funny.
esteban was told by viviahhhhhhhn that
hector is the father of her baby and esteban is all happy.
MAHRya had that jewelry show and the saggy
bimbo with the chicken legs showed up and blurted out to all the reporters that
MAHRya learned her lovely jewelry making skills IN PRISON while esteban stood
there with a stupid look on his face and let her.
lupita and leonel are now a couple in spite
of the earnest attempts of the slutty angelica, gerardo's slutty assistant. she
thinks she's better than lupita, and she's insanely jealous that leonel would
choose lupita over her. however, gerardo is going back to where he came from
and i assume he'll be taking the slutty assistant with him 'cuz what reason
would they have to leave her there? oh yeah, it's another useless side story!
but i think you should read the spoilers.
they're really good 'cuz the dialogue is in them.

oh, that was a hilarious scene! she only splashed the gas on
herself, the car, the street and the sidewalk. then she carries the empty can
back to her bmw. there's a trail of gas from the sidewalk to the bmw, which is
in the middle of the street. when she drops the match to light the gas, you can
see her jump back 'cuz the fire almost got her...for real! she looked really
crazy when she was splashing the gas. it was great.

pushed her and the kids started to yell at maria and told her to leave and she
left then esteban found out and was yelling at them and went to look for maria

esteban and the kids were invited and also that night maria and esteban slept
together but the fun didn't last when AZ got there the next morning and

WHO is the cheap bimbo in the
You-Tarzan-Me-Jane outfit that was jumping Pulpo’s bones??? It’s not safe to
leave town for 2 weeks----I come back to all sorts of calamity. Seems to me
she’s after his money. Not to worry . . . Venturina and the niños al rescate.
Loved that scene, tho, when Socorro covered Osito’s eyes with the feather duster when You-Tarzan-Me-Jane was all over Pulpo.

The episode begins with Esteban asking Maria if she loves
him as much as he loves her.
EMPRESA SAN ROMAN…..
Esteban takes Maria by the arms and tells her to look him in
the eyes
Esteban: Look me in the eyes and deny that you love me. If
you really love me tell me right now.
Maria: Please
Esteban: No! I am not going to let you go until I hear from
you wether you love me or not
Maria: I..I (very nervious)
Esteban: What? Maria do you love me?
Maria: Yes, yes, I love you. I love you with all of my heart
(Esteban smiles)
LEONEL’S OFFICE….
Leonel is talking to Socorro, and she tells him that she
knows that he and Lupita are dating and she is attempting to go talk to him
because she does not want Lupita to be hurt. Leonel tells her that he
understands, because mothers always want what is best for their children.
Socorro tells him that she knows he is a good man, but she worries because he
and Lupita come from two different worlds and there could be problems. Leonel
tells her that is not what is important to him and that he loves Lupita. She
asks Leonel to not hurt her daughter and he promises to never do that.
ESTEBAN’S OFFICE….
Maria: Happy now? You got want you wanted! Don’t touch me
and leave me alone, because even though I love you you could have killed
Patricia and you be the one trying to kill me.
Esteban: You are being ridculous, like always you are
twisting my good intentions around
Maira: I’m sorry but for all of your denials there is always
something that makes you look guilty. I want to believe you so that I can live
in peace, but I can’t, I can’t Esteban
(Maria leaves the office)
MARIA’S SHOP…
Hector is outside the shop in his car, and says that he
can’t forget Vivian and thinks that she must be with Greco at this moment and
he takes a drink from his good pal Jose Curevo.
Back at the company Leonel, Lupita and Socorro are talking
and Angelica comes in and tells Leonel that she needs to talk to him about some
documents. She takes him by the arm and drags him to his office. Socorro
doesn’t like Angelica’s attitude and tells Lupita to be careful because
Angelica is after Leonel.
PULPO’S HOUSE….
Pulpo and Davinci are painting the house with Venturina and
the kids. Pulpo tells Davinci that he is glad that Lupita is dating Leonel
because he is a good man. Pulpo also tells him that he is excited about dating
Vicky the Dancer Slut. Venturina gets upset at hearing this.
Back at the office Angelica tells Leonel that the documents
were just an excuse so that she could be alone with him and she kisses him.
Alma comes in and sees them kissing and quickly leaves. Leonel tells her that
Lupita is his girlfriend and he doesn’t want any problems with her. Angelica
tells him that she knows a lot of business men that just play withthe
secretaries and she is sure that is the case with Lupita. Leonel tells her that
is not the case here that he really loves Lupita and that he would never hurt
her. Angelica tells him that she likes him a lot and Leonel gets annoyed.
MARIA’S OFFICE…
Gerardo tells Maria that the contract is signed and just
like the their company he is also quite satisfied with the way things are going,
but that he would have liked for things to be better where they are concered.
Gerardo takes her hand and Maria tells him to stop insisting that things will
never workout between them, and if he doesn’t stop that she will push him out

that she has a very strong reason from her past that keeps her here and that
now is not the time to talk about it. Maria tells him that they should go to
Esteban’s office to tell him about the contract.
ESTEBAN’S OFFICE….
Esteban is thinking about Maria’s words when there is a
knock at the door.
Maria tells him that everything is signed and they are just
waiting on some final documents.
Esteban smiling: So this means that Gerardo is leaving? I can’t
tell you how happy this makes me.
Maria: Why are you talking this way to Gerardo? He brought
us an excellent proposal.
Esteban: That was only an excuse he used to be close to you
Gerardo: I am not going to deny it, I like Maria but I only
came here for business.
Esteban: Well one the papers are finallized I am going to
ask you to not go near my wife again. (upset he stands up and goes to the other
side of the desk)
Gerardo: Maria will be the one to decide that not you!
*Gerardo also stands up)
Esteban comes closer to Gerardo and Maria moves aside: I am
really tired of you getting envolved in our lives and I am not going to
tolerate it anymore.
Gerardo: Oh Yeah, what are you going to do, Hit me? Maria
needs a man in ther life that is much better then you.
(Rocky San Roman punches Gerardo in the face)
Maria Lodz Esteban back and gets between the two of them:
Please Esteban STOP! (And she tells Gerardo to leave that she will talk to him
later)
Gerardo: I am leaving because there is a lady in the room
not beause I am scared of you.
Maria: What is the matter with you? I know that you are not
a violent man.
Esteban: I got tired o him coming on to you every chance he
got knowing that you are my wife.
Maria: I know that Gerardo was wrong, but that is not a
reason to behave like an adolesent. What were you going to resolve by hitting
him
Esteban: I’m sorry, I hit him because I was jealous (He
takes Maria in his arms) I’m jealous because I love you! I love you Maria! I
have always loved you!
(Esteban kisses Maria and she doesn’t exactly push him away)
Alter the kiss she leaves the offie without a word
SOCORRO’S HOUSE……
Greco comments to Socorro that he is going to meet with some
executives to talk about the flower exportation. Socorro tells him to dress
more business like and he agrees. (Mother and son go shopping for a suit)
Back at the house Greco dresses in his new suit when there
is a knock at the door and it’s the San Roman’s driver who tells him that Alba
wants to talk to him. Greco is surprised.
Back at the office, Angelica leaves Leonel’s office and Alma
tells Lupita that she should listen to her mother’s advise where leonel is
concerned.
In Maria’s office Leonel asks Maria to let him help in solving
the clues in Servando’s setter so that they can find out who the killer is and
she can live in peace and be able to tell the truth to her kids. Maria accepts,
but she tells him to be careful she doesn’t want him to be hurt like last time.
They agree to meet in Leonel’s apartment and she will take the letter later on.
SAN ROMAN LIVING ROOM…..
Alba is writing in a notebook and Carmela is brsushing her
doll’s hair.
Carmela: I don’t understand why you sent for that what’s his
name? Greco
Alba: To tell him I don’t want him near Estrella again.
Carmela: Well, I don’t think they have seen eachother
Alba: Of course they are seeing eachother because a few days
ago I found Estrella craving his name into a tree.
Carmela: Be quite!!! How romantic (while taking from
underneatht he doll’s dress a little flask) I didn’t think they still did that
Alba: Carmela I am not in the mood for your stupidities and
leave that bottle or I will throw it away
(Carmela hides the bottle again under the doll’s dress)
Alba tells Carmela that if they got rid of Carlos they can
get rid of Greco that he is a deadbeat without any education, worst yet he
dresses like crap.
Just then Greco comes in very elegantly dressed and Alba and
Carmela are surprised to him
In Leonel’s office, Lupita tells him that she has only had
one other boyfriend besides him and it was someone from Xochimilco. Leonel asks
her if it was Pulpo’s son. Lupita tells him yes and tries to avoid the subject.
Leonel tells her that hi imagines that Pulpo’s son was a good man and that
Pulpo remembres him with a lot of sadness
In the hallway, Estrella runs into Carlos and he tells her
that the new shareholder made him the Messenger. Estrella tells him that she
will talk to her father and he makes a joke out of it and tells her to forget
it. He tells her that he still loves her despite everything. Estrella only
listens to him
At the San Roman house, Alba tells Greco to leave Estrella
alone because she is tired of opportunist getting close toher for her money.
Greco tells her not to worry that there is nothing between him and Estrella and
that he got close to her because he loved her not for her money. Alba tells him
that regardless of how he Greco: A nobody no, because in my family we work for
what we have and we may not have a big house like this but we have one thing
you don’t have… LOVE
Alba: be very careful how you talk to me.
Greco: I am just telling you that I hope to find someone one
day that loves to be with me and that loves everything I do. Unfortunately,
Estrella is not that woman.
Alba: So you don’t love her like you said you did
Greco: No I love her but there is no future for us.
Alba: I don’t know if to relieve you or if you just want to
get money out of this.
Greco: It must be terrible to live like you to be doubtful
of everyone and everything. I am giving up Estrella because I want her to be
happy even if it is with another man. (Greco very politely excuses himself and
leaves. Alba is stewing over what Greco said)
As Greco leaves he runs into Maggie, who is surprised to see
him so elegant and she flirts with him and offers to take him home. Greco
accepts and gets into Maggie’s car.
EMPRESAS SAN ROMAN…
Leonel tells AZ that Esteban went out but that he wants to
talk to her. He tells her to leave Esteban alone, that he is now married to
Maria and that he love her. AZ gets really upset and tells him that it is easy
for him to say that beause hse doesn’t see her life without Esteban in it.
Esteban was going to marry her and out of no where Maria appears and takes him from
her. She tells Leonel to stay out of her relationship and that he can’t
possibly know anything because his mother did not even love him. Futhermore she
is capable of a lot of things befote ever leaving Esteban. AZ pushes Leonel and
leaves the office realy mad and Leonel is surprised by her attitude.
HECTOR’S OFFICE…..
Hector is drinking at his desk (big surprise there) and ther
is a knock at the door and Maria comes as Hector hides his bottle. Maria tells Hector
that they are going to talk about Vivian and he is going to listen whether he
likes it or not.
Maria: Vivian had a scare with the baby and nearly lost it,
but thank God the doctor saw her befote anything serious happened.
Hector: I am sorry to hear that, but I have nothing to do
with that, you should tell Greco he is the baby’s father.
Maria gets upset and stands up: I thought that the news
would affect you somehow but sadly I see I was wrong. You are set in your
stubborness to denying that the baby is tours. I feel sorry for you!
MARIA’S APPARTMENT …..
Esteban is there to talk to Vivian. Esteban tells Vivian
that he needs to hear it from her
Esteban: Is the baby you are having Hector’s?
Vivian: Yes Sir, the father of my baby is Hector.
Esteban is seious yet you can tell he is happy at the
thought of being a grandfather.
TUESDAY -
JULY 26TH - EPISODE 90
MARIA’S APPARTMENT …..
Esteban is there to talk to Vivian. Esteban tells Vivian
that he needs to hear it from her
Esteban: Is the baby you are having Hector’s?
Vivian: Yes Sir, the father of my baby is Hector.
Esteban is happy at the thought of being a grandfather and
tells Vivian that she and the baby have all of his support and that they will
not need for anything.
RESTURANT IN TOWN…
Greco and Maggie are having a milkshake and Greco tells her
that he would prefer to go because he doesn’t feel confortable there because
that is not his world. Greco gets up to leave and Maggie offer to take him but
he refuses her offer and they agree to see eachother again soon.
At another table is Angel and Alma who is telling Angel what
she saw with Leonel and Angelica but tells himthat Angelica is after Leonel.
Greco runs into them and tells them that he was with Maggie. After Greco leaves
Alma and Angel both wonder if Maggie and Greco are going oout.
SAN ROMAN HOUSE….
Estrella comes in and tells Alba that she found out from
Transito that Greco was there. Alba tells her that she sent for him to know
what his intentions with her are. Estrella tells her that this between her and
Greco and no one else. Alba tells her that she does that because she wants to
protect her and doesn’t want her to do anything stupid like she did when she
wanted to marry Carlos. Besdies she has done a lot of stupid things because she
is a aprious and immature girl. Furthermore she is incapble of taking are of
herself and that is why she is there because Estrella needs her.
Estrella: No tia I don’t need you, who I have really needed
always is my mother, just her. If she had been with me I would be a better
person.
Alba: In some way I have been your mother. I have given you
a mother’s … (Estrella Interupts her)
Estrella: The love of an aunt and I apréciate it, but a
mother’s love is different and you can’t compare it with any other love. A
parent’s love can’t be susbituted. (Estrella cries)
Alba: You’re wrong, there are people who love just as
intensely as a parent without being a parent.
Estrella: I don’t doubt it, but not in my care, I have
always needed my mother. Even alter death I need her and will always need her,
because there is no comparing a mother’s love (Alba touched a bit by Estrella’s
words goes to her and touches her face and Estrella lets her and then leaves)
MARIA’S APARTMENT….
Esteban tells Vivian that he is almost as happy as when
Maria told him they were going to have Hector. Esteban tells her that its hard
to explain, and Vivian tells him that she understands, because Maria is just as
excited with the baby. But the only thing that she feel badly about is that
Hector is missing out on this beautiful moment. Esteban promises to talk to
Hector and tells her that he is not a bad person, he is just as confused as
Estrella because they have missed their mother.
Esteban and Vivian both smile and there is a knock at the
door. Esteban opens the door and its Maria.
Maria: What are you doing here Esteban?
Esteban: The same as you, I came to see Vivian
Vivian: Not just that but he also offered me and the baby
his support
Maria: Really?
Esteban: Why are you surprised? It’s my son’s baby, our
grandchild (both of them smile)
Maria: I never thought that you make you so happy
Esteban: Maria don’t you realize we are going to be
greandparents!! (he and Maria hug and both smile with Vivian)
Maria: Grandparents, I still can’t believe it, I still
remember bringing Hector home in my arms and now he is going to make us
grandparents.
Esteban says that the only thing left is for Hector to see
things differently and he promises to talk to him. Maria says that she has
confidene that he will change his mind.
SOMEWHERE AT A BAR…..
Hector Remembres Maria’s words about Vivian miscarrying the
baby and thinks that the baby is Greco’s
ESTEBAN’S CAR…..
That night, Esteban tells Maira that he is really happy to
have a baby in the hosue. Maria agrees and says that she only hopes that Hector
will accept the baby. Esteban says that he will talk to Hector and makes him
see reason. He invites Maria out somewhere and tells him that she needs to go
to Leonel’s house because he is going to help her solve Servando’s letter. She
asks Esteban if that bothers him and he says no and that she can do what she
wants.
RESTURANT IN THE CITY….
Gerardo tells Angelica that the contract with the San Romans
is done but that is not going to give up on Maria and he will fight for her
love beause he is not used to loosing. And when he decides on something he
always gets it.
LEONEL’S APARTMENT….
Leonel and Maria read the letter and the first clue that they
get is Bruno, Leonel thinks that Bruno is his mother’s killer, but Maria
refuses to accept it, because there are more clues in the setter and it could
be anyone of them.
FABI AND BRUNO’S HOUSE….
Fabi asks Bruno what he is thinking about and he tells her
their son that they abandoned. (Fabi tells him that she doesn’t want to talk
about that but Bruno insists on it)
Fabi: (smoking) The minute we left him in that institution
we promised to earse it from our lives forever.
Bruno: Haven’t you thought that they may call us one day?
Fabi: No I don’t think so, that is why we send a lot of
money to Canada
Bruno: Fabi have you thought that our son is approximately
Angel’s age. Ithink that our lives would have been different if he had not been
bron like that
Fabi: Yes, don’t remind me. The doctor said that it was a
result of the lives we led and because of the exess use of alcohol, cigerettes
and drugs. That is why my body gave birth to that monster (Fabi nervously
smoking)
Bruno asks her if she is sorry about what they did. Fabi
tells him that she is not sorry for having removed him from their lives becuase
otherwise he would be a constent reminder to them of the mistakes they made in
their lives.
SAN ROMAN HOUSE…..
Estrella is sitting on the couch and crying, Angel comes and
comforts her. Esteban comes in and tells them that when Hector comes home he
wants to talk to him and will be waiting for him in the study. Estrella tells
Angel that she’s sad and that she can’t seem to find direction in her life.
Angel asks her if she has no interest in Greco, and tells her that he saw him
with Maggie in a resturant. Estrella tells him it doesn’t matter anymore and
she cries and tries to hide her jealousy
STUDY…..
Hector comes in to talk to Esteban, and Esteban tells him
that he went to talk to Vivian, and that she assures him that the baby is his.
Furthermore that if the baby was Greco’s they would be getting married right
now, but that is not the case. Esteban tells Hector that he is the father and
that he needs to think things through and to listen to his heart. (hector just
listens to dear ole dad)
Back at Leonel’s apartment, Leonel insists that Bruno is the
main suspect because he was the only one who knew that Maria was going to the
cabin and even though Maria is not sure, leonel wants to set a trap for him to
know for sure.
At Bruno’s house they get a call from Deme who tells them
about the near miss that Leonel had at the cabin (bruno is surprised and tells
the news to Fabi)
Back at Leonel’s apartment, Maria and Leonel are still
discussing their suspiciones over Bruno and Leonel decides to go back to the
cabin and Maria tries to talk him out of it. Maria finally agrees to him going
and tells him to be very careful and in the meantime she will look through
Servando’s things. Maria gets ready to leave and as they open the door Bruno is
there. He surprises them and tell leonel he is there because he heard about
what happened at the cabin.
Maira: That bullet was really for me, I just never went
there.
Bruno: What an unpleasant sistuation, did you see who it was
Leonel?
Leonel: No, but Maria and I assume that it is the same
person who killed my mother and Luciano.
Bruno: What a shame, but luckily you are OK. Maria I told
you that going to the cabin was dangerous (he says goodbye and gives Maria and
kiss on the cheek) Bruno leaves and Leonel and Maria are preplexed over the
visist.
SAN ROMAN STUDY….
AZ comes to see Esteban and begs him to not leave her because
seh is so alone and can’t forget him. Esteban tells her that she is no longer
part of his life and the only thing he an offer her is his friendship and
nothing more. Maria comes home and as she is going up the stairs Esteban leaves
to take AZ home. Hearing them Maria comes down the stairs and seeing Maria AZ
begs Estebn to take her home. Esteban goes for the keys
Maria: AZ what are you doing here?
AZ: I am going to tell you one thing, I will not stop until
Esteban devores you and marries me (Esteban comes in and tells Maria that he
will be back soon.)
Maira is left very sad and sits on the stairs and Angel who
has realized what happened comes to comfort Maria.
Angel: Don’t worry Maria, that woman can’t compare with you,
you so much better then her in every sense of the word.
Maria: You really think so Angel?
Angel taking her hand: Don’t doubt it and my father also
believes it!
Maria: I am not too sure about that
Angel: Don’t loose trust in yourself, you have told me so
many times that strength starts with yourself and when you value yourself.
(Maria smiles and leans against Angel’s chest, Carmela observes them from the
stairs)
Maria: You are Duch a wonderful young man and you derserve
only the best!
Angel: Everytime you talk to me that way, I imagine that my
mother was like you. You are so good and caring with me that I see you as if
you were my mother.
Maria: I also love you like you were my son, Angel.
Angel suggests playing a game of chess to forget about AZ.
Maria accepts and tells him that she is very good at playing chess (they get up
and go to the study
ALBA’S ROOM….
Carmela comes in worried and tells Alba that she is going to
loose Angel for not living him a mother’s love, and that Maria is going to take
him from her (Alba eras this rather surprised)

Lupita is crying on her bed, and Socorro asks her what the
matter is and why she is crying. She says that Angelica wants to take Leonel
from her. Socorro tells her that if Leonel chose her it is for a reason and she
should not be jealous every second. She should also not question him unless he
has given her reason to. Socorro gives her a kiss good night and leaves her
more calm.
CABIN…
Leonel looks for clues to get to the person who attacked
him, and hears the sound of a car and sees Angelica drive up. He is surprised
to see her there and asks how she knew that he was there. Angelica tells him
that she heard that he was there and decided to come keep him company. Angelica
asks if he is going to offer her something to drink. Leonel goes to get drinks
and finds Angelica undressing when he gets there.
SAN ROMAN STUDY….
In the study Angel and Maria are playing chess, and Hector
and Estrella come in and ask for Esteban and Maria tells them that he went out
with AZ. Hector and Estrella are watching the games with interest and see Maria
beat Ángel. Angel tells them that Maria is an excellent player and Hector
chanllenges Maria to a game. Estrella also challenges the winner. Hector and
Maria begin playing and Angel and Estrella match the game. Maria beats Hector
and Estrella and Angel laugh at Hector. Maria is very happy to be playing and
spending time with her children. Hector cannot beleive that Maria beat him but
accepts his defeat. Estrella gets Hector up from his seat and tells him it’s
her turn and that she is going to beat Maria. (While Estrella gets confortable
in his seat Angel and Hector set up the pieces and talk about how Maria beat
them. Maira happily watches her children.
The game between Estrella and Maria starts and Hector starts
to give Estrella pointers on which piees to move and Angel does the same with
Maria.
Estrella: Check (Smiling).
Maria: Very good!!... Check Mate! (Also smiling)
Estrella: NO!! That can’t be, I have everything planned
Hector: Don’t complain, she beat you fair and square, Hey
she beat all of us!!
Estrella: Even my dad!!! (they are all talking and
commenting over the game!)
At that moment Alba comes in and sees them enjoying the game
with Maria.
Alba: I want to talk to the three of you!!!
(Maria, Estrella, Hector and Angel stop smiling and all look
at eachother)
WEDNESDAY
- JULY 27TH - EPISODE 91
The episode begins
with Maira playing chess with her children, and Alba comes in and says that she
wants to talk to the three kids. She tells them that she is very disapointed in
them and that they are betraying her for being on Maria’s side. Hector leaves
and tells Alba that he doesn’t want anyone controlling and watching his every
move. Angel tells Alba that she is being ridiculous and Estrella doesn’t say
anything and just watches.
Leonel refuses to
have sex with Angelica, and she gets dresses and he tells to stay and spend the
night in the cabin in one of the bedrooms. She hugs him and tells him that he
is going to pay for rejecting her.
Esteban comes into
the study and talks to Maria and tells him that as far as she is concerned he
could have spent the night with AZ. Esteben asks Maria what woudl happen if it
turned out that he was guilty of killing Patricia. Maria tells him that it
would hurt her terriblely to see him in jail, but that she would make sure that
justice was served and that she came back for her children and if that meant
that Esteban went to jail, she would do it despite loving him. Maria tells her
that she would be the unhappiest woman in the world to see him in jail but that
she would live with it. Looking at the chess board she knocks downthe king and
looks at Esteban before leaving the room.
Angel talks to
Estrella and tells her that he wants to leave and that thanks to Maria he now
feels more sure of himself and can take care of himself
Hector goes to see
Vivian and asks forgivness and at first she argues wit him but in the end the
make up.
THE NEXT DAY….
Leonel is in the cabin looking at his mother’s picture, and
he drops the picturea and a piece of paper falls from the back of the picture.
The paper contains a few pharses that are written in code with some numbers and
Leonel thinks that they could be numbers to a safety deposit box.
Carlos is in a
club and he is run out of there for not being a member. He makes a scene saying
that his father has a lot of money
Hector is second
guessing himself about whether he made the right decision in regards to Vivian.
Vivain gets to the
shop and tells Socorro that she and Hector are back together.
Angel is making
arrangements to bring Alma to have dinner at the house. Alba comes in and Angel
tells her that he loves her like an aunt and Maria as if she was his mother and
that she has given him all the love that he hasn’t had. Alba makes a scene and
tells him to be quite.
Estrella goes to
see Greco and asks him if he is interested in Maggie and asks him to forgive her
for hurting him. Greco forgives her and tells her to leave because he doesn’t
want to break his promise about forgetting about her.
At the company
Maria confesses to Gerardo that she is Hector and Estrella’s mother. He says
that he will move aside and will not continue to insist on a relationship with
her. He tells her that he supports and admires her.
Leonel is with
Lupita and Angelica comes in and thanks Leonel for inviting her up to the
cabin. Lupita gets sad and Leonel tells her that Angelica showed up uninvited.
Lupita tells him she doesn’t want to loose him and Leonel affirms his love for
her.
Hedor talks to
Estrella in his office and he tells her that he is having second doubts about
getting back together with Vivian. Without so many words he says that he doubts
the baby is his.
Pulpo along with
Oso and Greco are happy because they are going to make the business deal with
the businessmen regarding the flowers. Greco goes all elegant. There is comment
made that it is a shame that Carlos is not like Greco..
Angel and Alma go
to the house and Carmela greets them and Alba is sitting in the living room.
Carmela and Angel go to get some wine and Alba takes the opportunity to
humiliate Alma once again telling her to leave Angel.
Meanwhile,
Estrella is with Maggie at a café where Maggie is suppose to meet Greco. Greco
in the meantime is meeting with the business men discussing their projects.
Alma tells Alba
that she will not leave Angel for all of the money in the world that she can
offer her. Angel overhears this and gets really angry and decides to leave the
house. Carmela begs him not to leave, and Alba is rude to Alma. Angel has a
sweet goodbye with Carmela and doesn’t say a word to Alba. When they leave
Carmela confronts Alba for what she did and tells her that it;s her fault she
has lost her son. Alba reminds her that Angel is not both of their son, bue
only hers. Alba tells her that she knows what she is doing and to not
interfere.
Greco gets there to
meet Maggie and Estrella is surprised to see him so well dressed and quickly
leaves the café
Carmela calls
Esteban and tells him that Angel moved out. Esteban tells the driver to take
him back home.
Angel, meanwhile
is in a park with Alma and tells her that he has taken a big step in leaving
the house and he asks her to marry him.
Carmela is still
rying and calls Demetrio to tell him that Angel moved out and is calling to ask
for his help. Alba comes in and overhears the conversation and grabs the phone
from Carmela. Alba screams at her telling her that Angel is her son and to stay
out of things. Maria overhears this and comes into the room and asks if this is
true. Carmela tells her that it is true but that Alba has not given him a
mother’s love. Carmela cries and accuses Alba. Alba screams at Carmela and
tries to hit her. Maria grabs Alba by the arm to keep her from hitting Carmela
screams at her telling her to leave Carmela alone and warns her that if she
ever touhes Carmela again she will deal with her. Maria has a look on her face
like she wants to throw Alba out the window not just down the stairs. Alba just
looks at Maria with hate and at the same time a good amount of fear.
THURSDAY -
JULY28TH - EPISODE 92
We start at the CASA SAN ROMAN………
Carmela is talking on the phone with Deme to tell him that
Angel moved out of the hosue.
Alba: What are you doing? You have no right to get involved.
I am Angel;s real mother not you.
Maria: What? Alba you are Angel’s real mother?
Carmeal: Yes
Maria: Don’t you dare lay a finger on Carmela or you will
deal with me.
AT A PARK…
Angel: Alma marry me?
Alma: Yes and they kiss
SAN ROMAN HOUSE…
Carmela: Esteban, papi, Angelito has left the house because
of Alba.
Esteban: What happened?
Carmela: Alba offered Alma money to stay away from Angel.
Esteban: How could you?
Alba: Angel doesn’t know what is right for him
Esteban: Camrela look for Angel’s ardes book
Carmela: Yes Papi
Esteban: Maria please call the office and find out Alma’s
address and phone number
Maria: Sure Esteban, and she leaves
Alba: Esteban you know that you are not Angel’s father and
you have no right to get envolved.
Esteban: How could you Tia Alba?
Alba: Our family is being destroyed
Esteban: the one that is destroying it is you just then Estrella
and Hector come home
Hector and Estrella: What is all the screaming for?
Esteban: Tell them Tia Alba or I will be the one to tell
them
AT A RESTURANT….
Maggie and Greco are still talking
Greco: Maggie does Estrella know we are going out?
Maggie: Yes
COMPANY ELEVATORS….
Leonel and Lupita are about to leave when Alma and Angel
come in…
Alma and Angel: We need to ask you a big favor.
AT A BAR….
Gerardo: Angelica I am leaving Mexico and I know the reasons
why Maria will never love me
IN XOCHIMILCO…
Greco is at a fruti stand and he is telling the sales woman
about the proposal that they are working on and that it will be a lot of
progress for Xochilimco. Just then a woman steals a piece of fruit and the
sales lady asks Greco go get the lady.
CIVIL REGISTRY…
Angel and Alma are signing the papers that makes them
husband and wife.
The Judge: I can pronouce you husband and wife
Leonel and Lupita: Sign as witnesses
Angel and Alma kiss

Esteban is thinking and when Maria comes in…

that we are going to be by ourselves in this house.
Maria: One day our kids Estrella and Hector will leave… but
that is the way that life is, kids get married and leave and we have eachother
to grow old together and to enjoy the grandchildren.

Maria:Smetimes I do, but then there are too many things in
our way.
Esteban goes to join her on the other couch: I don’t only
love you but I love how you are as a woman, and I know that you love me the
same way. I have felt you shake in my arms and they start to kiss and they lean
back against the couch.
Alba in her room remembers Esteban’s words and goes to the
study to talk to him. She goes into the study and sees Maria and Esteban
kissing and leaves without being noticed. (Boy, these two should have put locks
down on in the wedding registry when they got married)
Esteban puts his hand on Maria’s leg and she draws him
closer and kisses his neck.
Alba goes to the kitchen and gets a lighter and goes to the
living room and sets some curtains on fire.
FRIDAY -
JULY 29TH - EPISODE 93
María and Esteban are
kissing on the couch in the study while is setting fire to the curtains in the
living room. When the curtain is buring enough, Alba starts to scream FIRE!
FIRE! Esteban and Maria seperate and go see what is going on. Esteban moves
other things so that they don’t burn and Maria grabs a flower vase and throws
the water over the curatin to put the fire out. The next day during breakfast,
Esteban asks everyone who started the fire. The kids say that they had no idea
there was even a fire. Carmela says that it was probably an accident, to which
Maria says that it was done on purpose. Alba says that she doesn’t know
anything. Esteban asks Rebeca and Transito where they were and they tell him
they had gone shopping. Since the guilty party doesn’t come forward, Esteban
tells them all that if something like this happens again they will deal with
him.
Vicky tells
Cadenas that she knows Pulpo and tells thim that they should make a plan to get
all of his money from him.
Alma and Angel are
in their house having breakfast, and Alma asks him if he is sure about leaving
the company. He tells her yes, and tells her that while she is working he is
going to look for a job.
AZ goes to Maria’s
office and tells her that she doesn’t care what she has to do to take Esteban
Hawai from her. Maria tells her that she doesn’t love or value herself, because
she will only ever be the mistress, while she is his wife. She also tells AZ
that the mistress is only the distration for a moment and the second option for
a man, and that a wife is a man’s true love. They represent family and love. No
matter how many times Esteban is with her he will be always be thinking of her
(Maria). AZ gets angry and Maria tells her that she can continue to see
Esteban, and beg him and blackmail him for a little bit of his attention, but
that she is doing at the cost of her dignity. BRAVO MARIA!!!
Greco tells the
people of Xochimilco what they have to do to make the planets more resistant
for exportation
Maria goes to see
Padre and he asks her to see Servando’s setter, to see if he can help find the
killer (Don’t ya already know Padre? Give me a break what is he going to do
play hot and cold?) Maria shows him the letter and tells her that all of the
names of the suspects are there. Maria gets upset for not having found
anything. Padre tells her that the letter still says the truth because it
confirms that she is not guilty of anything. He also tells her that she can
show that to her children, Maria tells him that she won’t do that until she
knows who the guilty party is and that the letter is not enough.
Fabi calls Alba so
that they can get together at her house. Alba agrees to go and Fabi tells her
that she has a plan to finish eiht Maria once and for all and to help Esteban.
Padre goes to see
Angel and Alma to give them his blessing. They tell Padre that they plan to get
married by the church once they are on their feet a bit more.
AZ sees Carlos
working as the company messenger and tells him that he has really fallen far
from Hector’s assistant to company Messenger. Carlos gets angry and doesn’t say
a thing.
Maria tells Leonel
that she talked to Padre and they tried to solve the entire letter. Leonel asks
if they found anything and Maria tells him that the letter just points once
again to all of the suspects, but that it clears her as the guilty party.
Leonel is also disappointed and Maria tells him that the only thing they have
left is the clue he found at the cabin. She also tells him that she is going to
show the letter to Esteban, because there is no point in hiding it from him any
longer if the letter doesn’t say the name of the killer.
Cadenas goes to
Pulpo’s house along with his sidekicks and they kidnapp the kids.
Leonel tells
Esteban that their utilites investements have gone down and Esteban gets
alarmed and he together with Leonel start reviewing the charts and numbers.
Angel is hitting
the streets looking for a job with no luck.
Pulpo comes home
and Venturina tells him that they took the kids. Pulpo sees that there is some
writing on the wall and realizes that it was Candenas.
Alba comes back to
the house and Rebeca tells her that Padre is waiting for her. Alba goes to see
him and Padre tells her that she has to forget about her obession with Esteban
because it is only hurting her. Alba tells him that God said to love one
another and Padre tells her that God did not mean in that way. Alba tells him
that her love is not hurting anyone and Padre tells her that it is hurting
Maria and Esteban by keeping them apart. Alba tells him that if Esteban is not
hers then he will be no ones. Padre tells her that if she does not forget about
that obesssion she will be judged later by all of those who respect and look up
to her and even Angel will reject her.
Carlos asks Lupita
if the other Messenger is really his boss and she tells him Yes and that they
were order from Rufino Sanchez. Carlos gets mad and thinks it is all Socorro
and Davinci’s fault and he is sure that they gave Pulpo the idea in order to
punish him for insulting them. Lupita tells him that she doesn’t know anything
and to leave her alone because she has too much work to do. Just then Estrella
comes by and Carlos tells her that he needs to talk to someone and invites her
out to lunch.
Pulpo goes to see
Cadenas and asks him to return the children and Cadenas tells him that if he
wants to see the kids he will have to pay him a lot of money. Pulpo asks how
much and Cadenas give him a piece of paper with an amount griten there.
Alma and Alba are
in a resturant talking and Alma tells Alba that her intention is not to
seperate Angel from his family. She loves him and only wants his happiness.
Alba tells her that now that Angel has no money she is no longer interested in
him, and that when the money goes out the door love goes out the window. Alma tells
her that is not true and that they only reason she is saying that is because
she doesn’t know how to love. Alba gets angry and insults Alma. Alma decides to
leave and pays for the bill and tells Alba that if she is so interested in
money to keep the change.
Maggie goes to see
Carlos and pesters him to go to lunch with her alter a while Greco finally
agrees and they end up in the same place where Carlos and Estrella are having
lunch.
Maria goes to
Esteban’s office and asks if he is going to lunch and he tells her that he will
go in a while. She asks him what he’s reviewing and that he looks really
worried. Esteban they are some financial reports of the company. She asks if it
is something serious and he tells her no, but something to be concerned about because
the utility investments have dropped. Maria offers to help him and he accepts.
When he sees that Maria has something in her hand he asks what it is and she
tells him it’s Servando’s letter and she was going to show it to him. When
Esteban reads the letter he tells her that it doesn’t say the name of the
killer and it only mentions the suspets. Maria agrees and tells him that the
letter also tells the truth that she is innocent. Esteban says that Servando
could have also lied about that. Maria gets angry and takes the letter from
Esteban’s hand and says she should have never shown him the letter and goes to
leave. Esteban gets up and goes to her and asks for an apology.
Angel comes to the company and goes to see his father. When he is about to open the door he eras Maria and Esteban talking and finds out that he is not Esteban’s son. He goes in the office and asks if that his ture. Esteban and Maria don’t know what to say and are shocked to see him there.
