celebrar las fiestas decembrinas
Televisa ha preparado una hermosa historia, llena de sorpresas y con un
gran mensaje de amor, que los padres podrán compartir con sus hijos en el calor
de sus hogares. "Navidad sin fin" es un cuento de tres semanas de
duración que consta de tres historias vinculadas entre sí y cuyos finales coinciden
con fechas tan significativas como Navidad, Año Nuevo y Día de Reyes. Esta historia comienza en una fría y oscura
noche, cuando Pedro, un humilde camionero, desconcierta a su madre Doña Reina
al llegar a su casa acompañado por una niña y su hermanito, a quienes encontró
solos en la carretera. La pequeña, que dice llamarse Angelita, les pide su
ayuda, asegurándoles que su papá es un hombre muy importante que sabrá
recompensar su bondad. Nadie parece
saber de dónde vienen estos pequeños niños que, con sus miradas inocentes,
tocan las puertas de los corazones de toda la gente que conocen. En un
principio, algunas personas, como la gruñona Doña Reina, se resistirán a
dejarlos entrar. Otros, como la dulce Verónica y un valiente muchachito llamado
Manuel, les abrirán las puertas de par en par, mientras que algunos, como la
insensible Julieta, el cruel Señor Darro y el corrupto José Luis, les negarán
la entrada a sus helados corazones.
Durante tres semanas seguiremos las emocionantes y conmovedoras aventuras
de los no siempre niños Angelita y Rodito... sin olvidar a Gabriel, su osito de
peluche. Nos asombraremos al conocer su verdadera identidad y a la sombra
maligna que los persigue y amenaza con destruirlos. Conoceremos al rico y avaro Don Alberto, que busca a los dos
niños para hacerse de mayor poder y riqueza; a la bondadosa Doña Matilde, cuya
profunda tristeza le ha robado el deseo de vivir; al Padre Miguel, un sacerdote
que se dedica a hacer el bien a pesar de haber perdido la fe; a Alejandra, una
pobre mujer que trabaja como mesera para mantener a su hijo enfermo, y a un
alegre chofer llamado Pancho, lleno de optimismo y amor. Viviremos momentos escalofriantes ante la
presencia del terrible Señor Lam. Nos conmoverá el amor imposible y el sacrificio

17 de diciembre Pedro llega a su casa de madrugada
acompañado de Angelita y Rodito, asegurándole a Reina que los encontró en la
carretera y que seguramente son los sobrevivientes de un accidente. Angelita
insiste en que su papá es un hombre muy importante y que recompensará a Pedro
con un hijo. Julieta pide ayuda a José Luis para investigar los accidentes
ocurridos en los últimos seis meses y él la invita a salir, pero Felipe le
avisa en voz alta que le habla su esposa. Ambos policías detienen a Darro por
rebasar en la carretera y arrestan a Pedro porque su camión fue reportado como
robado. En la cárcel, Pedro le cuenta a Darro sobre los niños y él se muestra
sumamente interesado. Al entrar en su habitación, Reina descubre a Rodito
jugando con una gran cantidad de billetes y le pide a Angelita que no le diga a
Pedro que cuenta con ese dinero, pues nunca se lo perdonaría. No

USA 12/19/01. Pedro’s mother is
worried when he arrives home late. Then he introduces two small children,
Angélica and Rodito. Out of their hearing, he tells her how he came upon an
accident. José Luis, one of the cops on the scene, laughs at the thought of the
man burned up in the accident. Then Pedro comes upon the two children who tell
him their father asked them to go for help. He is sure their father sent them
away to save their lives. He wants to marry and have children of his own but
doesn’t have the money. His mother tells him children make trouble. She is also
worried he will be accused of kidnapping. The next morning, Angélica tells her
she must think that Pedro has a very small heart, not to be able to love both
her and children. Later, Rodito finds a box full of money; Reina begs him not
to tell Pedro. Meanwhile, on the road, José Luis and his partner stop a
speeder, Darro. Darro offers the partner money to forget the incident and is
arrested for subordination. José Luis sees what is happening, tells his partner
to investigate the driver of the truck which may be stolen. José Luis takes the
money but doesn’t remove the handcuffs, says he may be able to help Darro
later. Pedro doesn’t have the papers for the truck, recognizes the José Luis as
the cop he saw at the accident, tells him the story about picking up the
children, doesn’t have the papers for the truck. José Luis tells Pedro that
Gregorio denied knowing a Pedro, described a different driver. (Gregorio was
jealous because of Lolita’s praise of Pedro.) Darro is interested in the story
of the two orphans. Pedro tries to
explain to the police chief about the children, but he is jailed until they can
investigate. Darro visits Reina and tells her that he knows her son Pedro, that
he is in jail and needs the papers for the truck. Reina gives him the papers.
He tells her that Pedro needs the children, too, to prove his innocence.
Angélita begs Reina not to let her go. Darro meets José Luis, without the
children, tells him there is a lot of money in this business. José Luis tears up the papers and the
license. José Luis wants to bring in another partner.
ESMAS, Martes l8 de diciembre
Angelita no dirá nada sobre el dinero. Pedro trata de convencer al
Comandante Solís y a Felipe sobre su inocencia. Angelita insiste en que papá vendrá
a buscarla a ella y a Rodito. Darro engaña a Reina, se lleva los papeles de
Pedro, pero ella no le quiere entregar a los niños. José Luis convence a Reina
para que le entregue a los niños, le advierte que por el bien de Pedro niegue
haberlos visto. José Luis lleva a Angelita y a Rodito a casa de Julieta. Cuando
Reina niega haber visto a los niños, Felipe le aconseja que busque un abogado
para Pedro. Verónica busca a José Luis. Felipe no permite que Reina vea a
Pedro, éste pide a la Virgencita que cuide de los niños. Por culpa de Tino y
Matías, Julieta castiga a Angelita. En el restaurante, José Luis avisa a Darro
que ya tiene a los niños. Para que Lola lo perdone, Gregorio declara, delante
de José Luis, que Pedro es inocente. Angelita y Rodito se escapan.
USA, 12/20/01.
José Luis visits Reina and tells her he will return the children to their
family, then takes them to his lover Julieta’s house; she has two sons. Darro
visits Reina and tells her that José Luis asked him to take him the papers for
the truck. He later meets José Luis who tears up the documents. The police
chief is certain that Pedro is lying when JL calls him and says there were no
papers or children. Felipe is less sure, but when Reina comes to the station
and denies knowing anything about the children, he is also convinced that Pedro
is lying. Lola is angry with Gregorio for letting Pedro go to jail. When he
sees José Luis in the cantina, with Darro (who introduces himself as Gonzalo),
he announces to one and all that Pedro is indeed one of his drivers and did
nothing wrong. Angélita and Rodito are blamed for the bread thrown on the floor
by the brothers. Angélita responds to their and their mother’s desprecio with
words of understanding. Felipe begins to believe Pedro again when he hears him
praying to the Virgin of Guadalupe for the safety of the children. Angélita and
Rodito escape from the house. Verónica goes to the jail and asks Felipe how
Sofia is and where JL is. Felipe doesn’t know.
ESMAS, Miércoles 19 de diciembre Reina dice a Felipe que José Luis se llevó a
los niños; Angelita y Rodito son atrapados por José Luis, que los lleva a su
casa. Angelita ve cómo el tipo maltrata a Verónica. Los camioneros y Pancho le
llevan a Pedro una guitarra. José Luis se lleva a los niños y Angélica se
despide cariñosamente de Verónica. En la Comisaría, Lola y Gregorio se
presentan para liberar a Pedro. José Luis dice a Julieta que gracias a los
niños tendrá un magnífico aguinaldo. Reina explica a José Luis que no sabe a
dónde se llevaron a los niños; él se va a buscarlos y arma un escándalo en la
comisaría, cuando escucha a Felipe acusar a José Luis de secuestro de menores.
Solís ordena que encierren a Pedro. José Luis y Julieta entregan los niños a
Darro. Pedro trata de huir de la cárcel, pero lo atrapan y se entera que el
hombre que murió en el accidente no tenía hijos. Angelita reprocha a Julieta
que no los ayudara. Darro planea hacerse rico con los niños.
USA, 12/21/01.
JL finds the children and takes them home to Verónica, who is not his wife.
They beg her not to leave them alone, she feeds them, but when she asks JL why
they fear him, he hits her. She assures Angelita that it was her fault, that JL
was a loving many. Felipe visits Reina and learns about the policeman and social
worker who took the hcildren, recognizes the description of José Luis. Gregorio
and his drivers go to the jail and Pedro is freed, but he quits. Felipe is
surprised to learn that JL isn’t at work because he had to take his wife to the
hospital. He tells his chief that JL isn’t married, calls Verónica who tells
him that JL didn’t hit her hard enough for her to have to go to the hospital.
Then Felipe goes to his boss, says he hates to say it but JL is crooked. The
chief doesn’t like accusations without proof and Felipe lacks the proof, but
insists it is his obligation to report. Pedro leaves the party being given for
him to go back to the jail and find out where the children are, threatens the
chief and ends up behind bars again. When Felipe comes to see him, he escapes
from the cell, dares them to shoot him and runs away but is caught, admits to
the chief he didn’t know where he was going, only that he had to find out what
was going on with the children. Meanwhile, JL and his other lover Julieta take
the children to Darro’s place: Orfanato Sana Inés. Angelita tells Darro they
just went for help for their father, but JL tells Darro the man who died was
single and had no relatives. Angélita begs JL and Julieta not to leave them
leave there, says she is giving them a chance. Julieta is moved and decides to
take the children away until JL threatens her own sons. Darro pays JL and he
and his woman leave. Felipe tells his chief that the dead man in the accident
was single and had no family, no children.

Jueves 20 de diciembre
Darro saca una foto a los niños y avisa por teléfono a doña Isabel, que ya
tiene a los niños. Agustín deja a Rodito en el cuarto de los muchachos. En el
cuarto de las niñas, Claudia se porta grosera con Angelita. Manuel defiende a
Rodito. José Luis dice a Felipe que no sabe nada acerca de unos niños. Reina da
dinero a Pedro para que encuentre a los niños. Pancho hace un retrato hablado
de los pequeños. Darro ordena a Clotilde que castigue a Angelita por rebelde.
Darro obliga a Angelita a hablar con Isabel y la niña lo acusa de haberle
pegado. Isabel lo amenaza. Angelita encuentra a Rodito mientras lavan la ropa.
Ella dice a los niños que todos tienen un ángel protector, pero hay que creer
en él. Felipe da unas pistas a Pedro. Claudia explica a Angelita que la
hermanita de Manuel desapareció el año pasado. Darro deja a Angelita y a Rodito
sin comer; pero los otros niños les dan comida. Darro le quita el osito a
Rodito. Pedro enseña Verónica el retrato de los niños y ella los reconoce.
USA 12/24/01. When Angelita tells
Darro her father will come for her, he tells her that parents only hurt and
abandon children. He has Agustín take her and Rodito to their rooms, calls Doña
Isabel to tell her he has found the perfect orphans for her and will send a
picture. Then as he looks at the photo, the picture completely fades away.
Angélita and Rodito are separated, one to the boys’ room and one to the girls’
room and, of course, the other children are at first cruel to the newcomers.
The chief and Felipe again question Pedro, ask him why he thinks the children
belonged to the man who was in the accident. Pedro explains as best he can,
then insists he is going to find them. The chief has doubts that the children
ever existed. Felipe visits Verónica and when JL returns, asks him about the
children. JL insists he knows nothing about any children. Reina gives Pedro the
money his father left for him, tells him to use it to find the children. He
tells her to save it for her old age, but she pushes it on him. In the
orphanage, all the children must work. When Angélita complains that Rodito is
too young and Darro is cruel, he has Clotilde beat her with a belt. JL tells
his chief that Felipe wants to make problems for him because Felipe loves his
woman. The chief separates the two partners and tells Felipe not to spend any
more time on the issue of the children. Darro has Isabel talk to Angélita on
the phone. Isabel seems to be a good woman who sincerely wants the children and
when Angélita mentions that she hopes Rodito won’t be beaten, Darro takes the
phone. Isabel tells him if she finds a mark on either child she will not only
not give him the money but report him to the police. Afterwards, Darro grabs
his belt but a star goes from Angélita’s eye and he lets her go. Angélita tells
the other children that they all have guardian angels, they must just believe
in them. When they get more cleaning done because of Angélita and her brother,
Darro tells them from now on it will be their new quota. When Angélita refuses
to eat the “food” placed before her, he takes it away from her and Rodito.
Afterwards, Manuel (the oldest boy) gives them some of his. Pedro has his
friend Pancho draw sketches of the two children. Felilpe tells Pedro he can’t help him without proof, but gives
him Veronica’s address. On the way their, Pedro and Pancho run into Julieta and
demand to know where the children are, force their way into her home and
search. She insists she knows nothing of two children. Then Pedro goes to
Verónica’s house and shows her the sketch. She recognizes the children. Just
then, the chief drives up.
ESMAS: Viernes 21 de diciembre Verónica y Pedro se miran, enamorados.
Solís llega e interroga a la muchacha, que dice que nunca ha visto a los niños.
Pedro se va decepcionado de ella. Darro toma otra foto a los niños; que también
se vela. Verónica abandona a José Luis. Angelita habla a las niñas sobre la
Navidad. Verónica pide perdón a Pedro. Manuel y Angelita se meten a la oficina
de Darro, para sacar el oso, pero ahí está Agustín. Los niños se esconden.
Darro descubre al viejo y está a punto de golpearlo, pero sale Manuel y se echa
la culpa. Darro lo encierra en el cuarto de castigo. Agustín devuelve el oso a
Rodito. Agustín dice a Angelita que Darro vendió a la hermanita de Manuel.
Verónica explica a Pedro, Pancho y Regina que José Luis tenía tratos con Darro.
Angelita y los otros niños rescatan a Manuel; la niña descubre que la hermana
de Manuel está en los Estados Unidos. Los niños huyen del orfanato. Isabel
llega en compañía de Mónica.
USA
12/25/01. The chief finds Pedro at the house, but Verónica lies and says she
knows nothing about any children. Darro takes Rodito’s bear away. Manuel asks
one of the girls to give him hers and she does. Darro takes a new picture and
it, too, fails to come out. When JL returns, Verónica asks him again about the
children. When he threatens her, she draws a gun, takes her suitcase and
leaves. Through Felipe, she finds out where Pedro lives and goes there,
apologizes. Angélica asks the children why Manuel stays if he can escape
whenever he wants, learns he wants to find his sister Mónica. JL goes to
Julieta’s house, angry at Verónica’s leaving and hits her, too. Reina comforts Verónica, tells
her she will have a home with her and Pedro. When a friend asks Pedro if he
would mind not being her first man, he says no: love is what matters. The kids
run away after Manuel and Angélita find the papers about Mónica. A few minutes
later, Isabel and Mónica arrive. Isabel tells her that Manuel is too old, but
she will be getting siblings.

ESMAS: Lunes 24 de diciembre
Darro recibe a Isabel y a Mónica. Angelita, Agustín y los niños llegan a
una fábrica abandonada. El Tripas y la Fiera se roban las maletas de Isabel. El
Fiera y el Tripas encuentran a los niños en la fábrica. Angelita les dice que
los ladrones también tienen ángeles; Pedro amenaza a José Luis, y éste le dice
en dónde están los niños. El Tripas saca un pasaportes de la maleta. Es el de
la hermana de Manuel. Darro tiene amarradas a Isabel y a Mónica en su oficina.
Empieza a derramar gasolina. Llega Manuel y Darro le dispara. Se inicia un
incendio. Darro está herido y ordena a Manuel que vaya por un doctor o no
volverá a ver a Mónica. Manuel llega herido a la fábrica. Pedro salva a Isabel
y Mónica. Darro muere. Llegan Pedro y Mónica a la fábrica; pero Manuel muere.
Angelita dice que su papá lo puede todo, Rodito dice que ya llegó. Un haz de
luz dorada cubre a los niños y Manuel vuelve a la vida.
USA 12/26/01. When Darro goes to
pick up Isabel’s suitcases, some street people steal them. Somehow the children
and the street people end up in the same large building. Angélita tells them
all about guardian angels. JL stops, without knowing it, the daughter of the
chief for “speeding”, gets her phone number and lets her leave. Pedro drives up
behind JL, beats him up. Just then, the chief and his daughter arrive, he
introduces her to JL and arrests her: they’ve discovered a lot of misdeeds in
the computer that he tried to arrest. Darro ties up Isabel and Mónica when she
refuses to pay him, says the money was in the suitcases. But he finds it in her
briefcase, spills gasoline all over. Manuel arrives: Darro shoots him, sets off
the gas and is burned. Manuel saves him, returns to the office to save Mónica
and unties her first. But after he unties Isabel, Darro returns and threatens
them again. Manuel gets away and goes for help. Pedro arrives. Isabel and Darro
fight over the money. Darro falls to the floor, the money flies away after
Isabel leaves the room. Pedro and the family end up with the children and
street people. Manuel dies. Angélita says her father will come. She and Rodito
move to a spot and a light shines down on them, then moves to Manuel, raises him
from the floor. He stands up, alive.

ESMAS: Martes 25 de diciembre
Un año después. Verónica y Pedro se casaron, ella está esperando un bebé
y viven con Reina. Mauricio asalta a Pancho y le quita el camión. Alberto finge
que también lo asaltaron y así lo lleva Pancho a casa de Pedro. Alberto quiere
encontrar a Angelita. Reina descubre el fraude de Alberto y éste confiesa que
preparó todo porque le urge encontrar a la niña. Reina, Pancho, Pedro y
Verónica aceptan ayudarlo pero no a cambio de dinero. Angelita y Rodo llegan a
Pueblo Grande. Saludan al Padre Miguel. Matilde y Vicente los llevan a su casa.
Natividad les atiende muy bien, pero Yolanda insiste en que los corran. Carmelo
y Josefina comentan que Matilde no se repone de la muerte de su hijo Alfonso.
Rodo pregunta a Angelita si Pedro va a venir. Mauricio pregunta a Angelita si
no han visto a una niña acompañada de su hermanito, que carga un oso.
USA 12/27/01. Un año despues. A man
calls Reina again. Verónica is very pregnant and married to Pedro. A chauffeur,
Mauricio, stops a truck and asks for help, then draws a gun and steals the car.
The driver, Pancho, finds a man dying in the back seat of the car. Reina says a
man called and offered money for information about Angélita and Rodito. Pancho
saves the man’s life with the oxygen in the car and they return to Pedro’s
house. Since the truck wasn’t insured, Pedro will lose the house. A woman and
her grandfather arrive in the pueblo and decide to stay. The man, Alberto, asks
about Angélita, knows the story of el ángel de la misacordia who always appears
in the form of two children, insists he was not the one who called, was being
assaulted by a man he just hired as a chauffeur. Alberto is in a wheelchair,
recognizes the picture of the children. Padre Miguel introduces himself to a
young woman and her grandfather. Mauricio calls somebody, says to tell Alberto
that all is going well. Reina tells Alberto how Angélica and Rodito said
goodbye to all in just a moment, that time seemed to stop. Reina refuses to
tell him what Angélita told her. He offers Pedro money, enough to buy another
truck, in exchange for his help in finding the children. The granddaughter
tells her grandfather it is time. The abuelo lies down on the ground. A car
stops in front of him. The granddaughter asks the woman driver to help them.
She introduces herself to the woman as Angélita and her grandfather as Rodito.
A woman feeds the two. A young woman, Yolanda, sobrina de Matilde, the woman in
the car, arrives and tells the older woman, Nati, to get rid of the two. Reina
tells Pdero, Pancho and Verónica that Don Alberto was the man who called
earlier. Pedro suggests that he arranged the assault. Alberto gets out of his
wheelchair, admits the truth, promises to return the truck. Pedro agrees to
help on a condition: that he tell him
what he wants. Alberto whispers in Pedro’s ear. Pedro says he can’t go with him
but Pancho can. Yolanda’s parents tell her to make sure her aunt Matilde doesn’t
recover from the death of her son Alfonso. Nati finds Yolanda “comforting” the
crying Matilde and asks what to do about the couple. Yolanda tells her to get
rid of them. Angélita assures Rodito that Pedro will come. Nati tells Angélita
that Yolanda wants them to leave. Alberto signs a contract and plans to go with
Pancho to Pueblo Grande, which is where Angélita and Rodito are. Pedro refuses
to tell Reina and Verónica what Alberto said but assures them he doesn’t
understand and won’t get what he wants.

ESMAS: Miércoles 26 de
diciembre Carmelo, Yolanda y Josefina
planean quedarse con el dinero de Matilde. Rigoberto sufre un ataque en su
casa. Sin importarle que Alberto y Mauricio no quieren ayudar a Angelita y a
Rodo, él los lleva al restaurante de Casimiro. Ahí está Yolanda con Sebastián,
y ella exige al hombre que los saque. A pesar de las protestas de Pancho,
Sebastián se los lleva y ellos olvidan una caja de cartón, que encuentra
Casimiro. Alejandra se da cuenta de que a Rigoberto le han regresado los
ataques; aun así, no puede dejar de ir a trabajar a “La Luciérnaga”. Matilde
pide a Yolanda que busque a Rodo y Angelita. Pancho hará otro retrato hablado
de Angelita. Sebastián deja ir a Angelita y a Rodo. Rigoberto llega al
restaurante, encuentra al oso en un la caja de cartón de Angelita. Angelita y
Rodo llegan a ver al Padre Miguel. Cuando Pancho descubre a Rigoberto con el
oso, piensa que es Rodito, y cree que Alejandra es Angelita.
USA 12/28/01. Yolanda tells her
parents that, of course, she doesn’t like Sebastian but he is the only eligible
man in the pueblo. Nati tells Matilde that Yolanda kicked out the strangers.
Pancho asks Alberto and Mauricio to help Rodito when he sees him acting ill
outside the restaurant. They refuse. Pancho takes Angelita and Rodito in the
restaurant owned by Casimiro. Sebastian has arranged a special dinner for
Yolanda, but she finds the food unacceptable. When Pancho joins Alberto and
Mauricio, there is some sort of altercation, Mauricio has his wallet. Pancho
wants to quit, but Alberto reminds him they have a contract. Yolanda convinces
Sebastian to force Angelita and Rodito to leave the restaurant since they
obviously won’t be able to pay. Pancho objects but is dragged out by Mauricio.
Casimiro assures Sebastian the dinner is on the house. Sebastian takes them to
the jail, assures them the cell is better than the streets, that he sometimes
spends the night there. Casimiro guards the box they left. Alejandro’s son
draws a heart on her dress. Pancho learns that Alberto is big in the stock
market, that he and Mauricio make a lot of money. Later, Alberto tells Mauricio
he doesn’t care what happens to Pancho after he identifies the angels. Back in
the restaurant, Casimiro finds a teddy bear in the box left by the pair and
loans it to Alejandra’s son. When Pancho sees it, he is sure that the boy and
his mother are the angels.

Indignada con Pancho, Alejandra se lleva a
Rigoberto. Pancho muestra a Alberto el retrato hablado de los niños, Casimiro
dice que se parecen a unos huérfanos del Padre Miguel. Alejandra dice a
Casimiro que Rigoberto se está muriendo. El niño sufre una crisis en el
camposanto y Pancho lo encuentra. Hablan de los ángeles. Rodo entrega unas
flores a Matilde y le dice que debe olvidar su pena. Rigoberto informa a
Alejandra que buscará a los ángeles de Pancho para que lo curen. Sebastián
intenta convencer a la gente del pueblo para que inviertan dinero con Alberto.
Pancho llega a buscar a Rigoberto a casa de Alejandra y ella le pide que los
ayude. En casa de Matilde meriendan Rodo, Angelita, Alberto, Mauricio, Yolanda,
Carmelo y Josefina. En la sala de la mansión, el Padre Miguel se asombra al ver
cómo el rostro de Angelita se llena de luz.
USA 12/31/01 -
1/1/02. no episodes. 1/2/01. Alejandra thinks something is wrong and takes
Rigoberto away. Matilde’s brother Carmelo asks her to sign some papers but Nati
interrupts them. Matilde greets Padre Miguel, Angelita and Rodito and offers
them a room. Alberto approves of the drawing Pancho made but ignores him when
he points out the little boy with the bear. Rigoberto takes Pancho to the angel
he knows, in the cemetery, and then to the grave of his father: Alfonso,
Matilde’s dead son. Alejandra tells Casimiro that her son is dying and there is
nothing she can do. He tells her that is life, he lost his wife or son. He
offers to pay her a salary to stay with her son and love him for his remaining
days if she will stop working in the restaurant and the nightclub and goes away
from the pueblo with her son. She cries. Rodito talks with Matilde, makes her
see that he constant mourning does not honor her son. When Yolanda and her
parents remind her of the death of her son at dinner, Angelita looks at her and
she says she will always keep his memory in her heart. Meanwhile, Casimiro
points out to Padre Miguel that he solved the chess puzzle. The padre looks at
the board, wonders, but no, an angel wouldn’t deal with something so petty. He
remembers the visit of Angelita and Rodito and talks with her. She says that
her grandfather probably did help out; it is the kind of puzzle he enjoys. The
padre feels let down until Angelita looks him in the ey.

y Mauricio dicen al Padre Miguel que quieren a los dos niños huérfanos para una
campaña publicitaria. Carmelo echa veneno en una jarra de agua. Pancho se da
cuenta de que Alberto y Mauricio están engañando a la gente del pueblo.
Matilde, Angelita y Rodo toman agua envenenada, pero no les pasa nada. En la
cocina, Angelita dice a Yolanda que tiene tres minutos para arrepentirse;
Yolanda no hace caso, la jarra se rompe y el veneno penetra en su piel. Alberto
dice a Mauricio que el Señor de la Tinieblas sigue en pie de lucha. Pancho
informa al Padre Miguel que viene con dos tipos que buscan a los ángeles y le
da una medallita para que se la entregue a Angelita de parte de Doña Reina.
Matilde, Angelita y Rodo llegan al restaurante de Casimiro y cuando Rigoberto
está a punto de tener otra crisis, Matilde comprende que el niño es su nieto.
USA: Yolanda and her parents
try to poison Matilde and the angels, but Rodito “fixes” the drink and they
don’t understand why it doesn’t work. Angélita tries to talk with Yolanda in
the kitchen, warns her there is time to repent. She feels faint afterwards,
cuts her hand on the dropped vase, sees blood on her palm. Pancho discovers
that Alberto’s plan for investment are just a cover for his search, warns
Sebastina. Sebastian doesn’t believe him. Yolanda tries yet again to poison
Matilde, but fails. She looks in a mirror and her face is distorted; then
nobody can find her. Pancho asks Sebastian about Alejandra. He warns him that
she has a bad reputation. Pancho tells Padre Miguel he is sure that he has seen
the angels, he can tell from the look in his eye. The padre refuses to confirm
it. Pancho also warns him about Alberto. Alberto takes a call from a man of
whom he is obviously afraid. Matilde, Rodito and Angélita go to Casimiro’s
restaurant; she sees Rigoberto having an attack, recognizes it as the same type
that her son had: the boy must be her grandson.

pide a Matilde que la deje en paz. Yolanda no aparece. Rigoberto ya sabe que
Alfonso era su papá. Miguel informa a Pancho que ya entregó la medallita.
Alberto dice a Mauricio que tienen un jefe que no perdona errores. Matilde
organiza una cena de Año Nuevo. Carmelo dice a Sebastián que la casa está llena
de gente que quiere el dinero de Matilde. Alejandra y Matilde se reconcilian.
Alejandra acepta casarse con Pancho y se lo dicen al niño. Alberto y Mauricio
tienen amenazados a todos en el comedor, mientras que en otro lugar de la casa,
Angelita y Rodo dicen a Rigoberto, Pancho y Alejandra que el niño está curado.
Alberto tiene un amuleto especial para matar a un ángel; pero Angelita le sopla
en la nuca. Alberto y Mauricio se desploman. Angelita y Rodo se despiden de
Rigoberto.
USA 1/4/02. Matilde swears to
Alejandra that she didn’t know they existed. Yolanda’s parents are worried
about her, wonder if they went too far. Padre Miguel, with Pancho by his side,
tells Alberto and Mauricio he doesn’t believe their objectives and won’t let
them use the children in his orphanage for publicity. Rodito tells Angélita
they don’t have much time left to finish their work. Alejandra tells Rigoberto
that Matilde is his grandmother. Matilde visits Alejandra, tells her she sent
Alfonso away to find a cure for his illness, learns that it was Carmelo who
told her she wasn’t welcome in the family. Pancho admits to Padre Miguel that
he cares for Alejandra. Pancho recognizes Rodito and Angélita when she shows
him her necklace, tells him they heard his prayers for Rigoberto, that his love
was the miracle. Sebastian doesn’t believe Padre Miguel when he tells him that
Alberto is just using them. Alberto is worried; he has only until midnight to
find the angels. Matilde invites Alejandra, Rigoberto, Pancho and the angels to
dinner. Casimiro brings food to Nati who feels cold in the kitchen. Pancho
tells Alejandra he loves her and not because Matilde has recognized her
grandson. He says goodbye; she asks him if he isn’t interested in what she
thinks.Pancho proposes and she accepts. Mauricio and Alberto arrive at the
house with guns. Rigoberto is happy to hear about Pancho and Alejandra. Alberto tells the gathering that Mauricio
made him realize that angels can change their form, but must be there because
they awake mercy in the hearts of other, such as Matilde. Pancho and Alejandra
learn that Rigoberto has been cured. Alberto holds an opal in his hand in which
one sees the face of the devil. Alberto turns off the lights, then he and
Mauricio fall to the floor when the angels appear. All fall asleep except for
Rigoberto. Yolanda arrives carrying the jug of poisoned drink; she tells Rodito
there is no hope for her, although she now knows she did wrong. Rodito tells
her that in time she may win forgiveness. Time returns to normal, as if
Mauricio and Alberto had never appeared. The angels tell Rigoberto to remember
what they told him, that nobody will remember ever knowing the angels.

el refugio del señor Lam, con su nueva apariencia, Angelita y Rodo estudian el
amuleto. Rodo dice que es el Ishtar original y lo lanza a las llamas. Ambos
desaparecen justo cuando entra Ludovico, dejando a Mauricio y Alberto que están
como hipnotizados. Matilde corre a Josefina y a Carmelo. Alejandra dice a
Matilde que se va a casar con Pancho. Miguel explica a Casimiro que un ángel
estuvo entre ellos. En la Fundación Ángeles, Rodo y Angelita reciben una
llamada del Padre Miguel. Matilde ofrece trabajo a Pancho y dice a Sebastián
que invertirá en Pueblo Grande. Ludovico informa a Alberto y a Mauricio que el
amo los verá esa noche. Casimiro se ofrece a llevar a Lam a la Ciudad de
México. Cuquis entrevista a Rodo. Teresa lleva a Blanca a la Fundación. Lam
informa a Ludovico que ya sabe a qué se dedican Rodo y Angelita.
USA: 1/7/02. Cuquis
arrives at the shelter of Rodito and Angélita, where the spend the year apart
from Christmas. She is sure the orphange is a fraud, like the one that burned
down, but is attracted to Rodito who, apparently, is also a big star. Teresa,
the nuera of Blanca, brings her to the refuge because she has been declared
incompetent and insists that the nurse Berenice stays with her for a few days.
Blanca thinks that Angelita is an accomplice. Casimiro arrives, recommended by
Padre Miguel, to help in the kitchen.

ESMAS: Miércoles 2 de enero Angelita
ofrece trabajo a Casimiro; éste se toma el té que le dieran Lam y Ludovico, y
se enferma; pero ella lo cura con una perla milagrosa. Toñita demuestra a
Cuquis que en la Fundación todos viven felices. Julieta explica a Angelita que
perdió a sus hijos. Blanca dice a Berenice que Jacinto y ella fueron novios
hace muchos años. Lam y Ludovico llegan al instituto y Casimiro les explica lo
que pasó con el té, ellos lo tranquilizan y él cree que son ángeles. Lam le
entrega a Casimiro un amuleto que hará que Angelita se enamore de él. Julieta
comenta con Angelita que perdió a sus hijos. Rosita informa a Rodo y Angelita
que hará examinar las hojas del té de Casimiro; por su parte, éste mantiene
escondido a Ludovico en un cuarto. Ernesto lleva un regalo a su abuelo Jacinto.
Nico confiesa a Julieta que le gusta Toñita. Ludovico asusta a Juanito y Malena
(dos niños). Rosita descubre a Ludovico.
USA: Casimiro, while meeting with Angélita, takes
a tea prepared with herbs given to him by Lam & Ludovico. Angelita doesn’t
recognize them, later gives them to Rosita whose brother can test them. Later,
Casimiro falls faint and Angélita saves him by putting a pearl in his mouth.
Casimiro gives a room in the shelter to Lam and Ludovico who swear they are
there to help but don’t want to be seen, ask him what he wants most: love, that
of Angélita. Julieta also arrives at the shelter, shorn of children and job,
knows she is guilty and is forgiven by Angélita. When Toñita discovers that
Cuquis thinks the shelter is a sham, she takes her around to show all the good
being done. Blanca discovers Jacinto there, an old love, working as a janitor
(which she can’t believe) and teaching a variety of classes. Two children go to
the room of L&L, he locks the door, a search is instituted. Jacinto’s
nieto, Ernesto, arrives; he is in love with Toñita. L&L plan to use
Casimiro to destroy the angels and give him an amulet which will make her fall
in love with him.

ESMAS: Jueves 3 de enero Ludovico
se asombra cuando Juanito y Malena lo invitan a jugar con ellos; lo llevan al
salón y ahí todos le dan la bienvenida y Toñita le pide que le ayude a preparar
el escenario para la fiesta de los Reyes.. Angelita da dinero a Julieta para
que vaya a recoger a una niña, Consuelo, al hospital. Blanca y Jacinto hablan
del pasado. Jacinto dice a Cuquis que lo que más desea es un piano. Rodo,
Angelita y Rosita se dan cuenta de que los están atacando y que es el amor de
Casimiro lo que causa el problema.. Berenice intenta animar a Blanca. Julieta
pide que la dejen cuidar de Consuelo. Ludovico sale cuando Rodo lo mira a los
ojos. Ludovico dice a Casimiro que debe conquistar a Angelita. Nico y Ernesto
se hacen amigos. Jacinto entrega a Toñita el dinero que había ahorrado para el
piano. Ella ayudará a las ballenas.

USA: Julieta steals money. Rodito and Angélita realize danger exists
in the shelter. They invite Nico to stay. Jacinto tells Nico he has the hands
of a pianist. Angélita gives Julieta Consuelito to care for, a small child who
can’t speak. Nico draws a knife on Ernesto, tells him to stay away from Toñito.
The angels realize that Casimiro is being manipulated but his love for Angélita
can kill her. The children like Ludovico. Jacinto gives the money he had saved
for a piano to Toñito.

ESMAS: Viernes 4 de enero Lam
dice a Ludovico que debe ingeniárselas para que Casimiro regale algo a
Angelita. Rodo y Rosita se alarman cuando Angelita empieza a sentirse mal.
Marisela llega a ver a Blanca. Jacinto, Ernesto y Toñita preparan la función
para la noche de reyes. Jacinto y Blanca se reconcilian. Ludovico le da un
anillo a Casimiro, para que se lo regale a Angelita, porque es mágico. Rosita
dice a Ludovico que ya sabe que él vino a destruir al ángel. Rodo le presta a
Consuelo el oso Gabriel. Casimiro lleva una charola con la merienda a Angelita
y le da el anillo. En la recámara de Angelita, Rodo pide a Casimiro que la
deje; entra Ludovico y, arrepentido, confiesa a Casimiro que Lam y él lo
utilizaron para destruir a Angelita, que es el ángel de la misericordia. Roban
el collar de perlas de Blanca. Lam llega y amenaza a Casimiro y a Angelita. No
te pierdas el final verdaderamente angelical de "Navidad sin fin"
USA, Marisela visits Blanca. Cuquis
records a phone conversation between her and Teresa which proves they are in
cahoots against Blanca. She plays the tape for Angélita and Berenice. Berenice
goes to work for Angélita who asks Cuquis not to tell Blanca yet, it would be
too hurtful. Angélita becomes weaker and weaker, especially after Casimior
gives her a ring. Ludovico has a change of heart, begs the forgiveness of
Angélita and Casimiro finally realizes who she is. Berenice apologizes to
Blanca. Blanca finds her money gone. Lam arrives and “strikes down” Rosita,
Rodito (only a cherubino), Ludovico. Only Casimior stands up to him. Then
Angélita rises from her couch.

USA, ULTÏMO CAPÏTULO. really weird final episode. Casimior can’t stop loving Angélita so she gets weaker and weaker. Jacinto finds Blanca’s missing necklace in Ernesto’s room, accuses him. Discord, which Lam wants, starts to run through the institutio but Nico counteracts it and they put on the nativity play. Somehow, Angélita gains some strength. Lam kills Casimior. Ludivico turns to the good side. At the end of the nativity play, images of the 3 kings appear there and in Angélita’s room. Lam is dispatched. Teresa arrives with the news article about her behavior. Blanca tells her she is firing her son, who never visits, from the company. Angélita says goodbye to the ghost of Casimiro who is glad to have died for love. Consueltio talks. Scenes from all three stories.
