-Victor Izaguirre and his best friend Esparza discuss the health of "Arrebatadora", a mare that is property of Octavio Uriarte, which will have to compete with "Princesa", a mare that belongs to his worst enemy Clemente Soriano. Isabela almost runs Victor over. Pili and Ximena suppose that their father (Victor) will marry again. Diana celebrates the love between Karina and Don Clemente. Isabela is sad because "Princesa" loses the race to "Arrebatadora". Isabela sees Victor at the girls' school. Carolina returns to Mexico and Clemente organizes a celebration. Victor and Isabela have an encounter. Mauricio goes to Octavio's office and tells him to hire Diana, she's an architect. Clemente is not happy with Isabela's decision to delay her wedding to Cesar. Isabela tells Clemente that "Canela" is very ill. Diana prepares for her meeting with Octavio and Paz. Pablo is excited to see Carolina, who treats him indifferently. Karina sees Victor and Isabela kissing. Victor coomunicates with his daughters and leaves Esparza to take care of them. Isabela tells Paz what's going on with Victor. Clemente finds out that Victor is divorced and has two daughters. Mariagna invites Octavio to the inaguration of her pictorial exposition. A mare is giving birth, Victor and Isabela help her. Pablo asks Don Clemente for a chance to compete but Clemente ignores him. Isabela meeets Victor at the river. Octavio invites Diana and Mauricio to his girlfriend's (Mariagna) exposition. Isabela tells Cesar and her father that she will not marry him, because she is in love with another man. Cesar goes to the veterinarian clinic and asks Esperza where Victor is because he's gonna kill him. Victor and Cesar argue and end up fighting. Isabela tries to separate them. Nacho and Ximena are at the party when another guy shows up and tries to dance forcefully with Ximena. Nacho and the guy end up fighting. Cesar and Isabela argue, she tells him she doesn't weant him as her trainer anymore. Isabela asks Victor why he divorced his wife and he tells her he doesn't like to talk about that. Diana tells her father about her first job and how excited she is to work with Octavio Uriarte, this shocks Clemente. Socorro, Octavio's mother talks to her son about Clemente and how he took everything from them and is to blame for Servando's death. Clemente demands that Diana quit her job.

En los establos uno de los caballos está fuera de control y es Víctor (Sergio Goyri) el que trata de controlarlo. Llega Octavio (Otto Sirgo) y pregunta a Víctor como está el caballo, el asistente responde que está listo para ganar.

Isabela (Karyme Lozano) le habla a su yegua con mucho cariño. Cuando llega su novio, Cesar, y dice que ella será la triunfadora de la competencia. Cesar se siente celoso de la atención que Isabela tiene con su yegua. Víctor camina por la calle e Isabela está en su coche buscando un CD, y no se da cuenta que casi atropella a Víctor. El se tira al suelo e Isabela pierde su gorra. Cuando se da cuenta regresa y le pide muy altanera que le devuelva su gorra. Víctor le pide que se disculpe primero, pero ella se niega. Víctor la llama escuincla malcriada entonces Isabela se va en su coche.

En casa Soriano, está Clemente cuando llega Isabela y saluda a su papá. Cuando llega Karina la nueva esposa de Clemente. Se nota que Isabela no la soporta y molesta se retira. Karina con tal de contradecir a Isabela, decide cambiar en donde tendrán el desayuno. La sirvienta se confunde.

Las hijas de Víctor se pelean y llega él para poner orden en su casa.

Isabela molesta le dice a su padre que ella manda en esa casa, Clemente responde que la que manda es Karina. Isabela muy molesta dice que jamás va a respetar a esa mujer. Diana reprende a Isabela.

En el campeonato, Octavio habla con Jan (no recuerdo su nombre) y llega Víctor. Octavio lo presenta como el mejor veterinario. Isabela se prepara para la competencia llega Clemente y trata de tranquilizarla, cuando Isabela dice a su papá que su esposa Karina no es lo que él piensa. En eso llega Cesar y Clemente habla de que quiere que se casen muy pronto. Isabela molesta por los comentarios de su padre acerca de la boda y como ella será la mamá del hijo de Cesar. Isabela se va muy molesta. Clemente se acerca a la mesa de Octavio y lo saluda con burla y dice que él va a perder. Diana habla con Karina y ésta se queja de Isabela. Diana se retira para saludar a su amigo, Jan. En eso Karina va caminando y se le cae su bolsa, Víctor la ayuda a recogerla y Karina se le queda viendo con ojos de deseo.

Víctor habla con Isabela y le dice que si su caballo gana tendrá que aceptar una invitación a cenar. Esta lo rechaza con desdén ella no sale con desconocidos y se va. Clemente aconseja a Isabela mientras ella se prepara.

Diana habla con su amigo, Jan y recuerdan los estudios en la universidad, sonríen. En eso anuncian la competencia y es Isabella la primera en participar. Empieza bien la competencia pero en uno de los saltos la yegua no salta y es eliminada. Karina se alegra de la derrota de Isabela, mientras todos están muy decepcionados. Cesar pregunta a Isabela que pasó y ella no responde y continúa caminando. Cuando presentan al competidor de Octavio y al final él gana la competencia. Clemente muy molesto decide retirarse. Isabela consuela a su yegua y llega Víctor trata de explicarle lo que le pasó a la yegua. Isabela lo desprecia y Víctor la invita a cenar nuevamente, pero Isabela se niega luego discuten y ella se va.

Le dan la copa a Octavio, cuando Isabela habla con el encargado de los establos y él dice que no cubrió al caballo. Cesar llega y cuando escucha lo que pasó lo despide. Diana conoce a Octavio, él fue su profesor en la universidad. Luego ella le informa quien es su padre y Octavio la ve sorprendido. Isabela y Cesar hacen planes para visitar la casa en la que vivirán ya casados. Víctor llega a su casa y despide a la niñera, va al cuarto de sus hijas y les da un beso a ambas ellas duermen. Isabela recuerda su encuentro con Víctor y sonríe.

Clemente furioso comenta la derrota con Karina e Isabela cuando llega la Nana con un ramo de flores para Isabela. Esta lee la tarjeta y la metiche de Karina quiere saber quién las manda. Isabella no dice nada y se retira, Karina la llama insoportable. En la cocina ella le dice a su Nana que es un admirador... Cesar e Isabella visitan la casa nueva y ella no está muy contenta. Cuando se van dice que no le gusta la casa, Cesar dice que buscará otra. Cesar tiene que visitar a alguien, Isabella se queda en el carro y aparece Víctor. Este le confiesa que él la va a conquistar y ella se sorprende. Ella lo llama loco y se sale del carro Se burla de Víctor cuando llega una de las hijas del veterinario. Isabela otra vez se burla y en eso llega la hija mayor. Esta no es amable con Isabela. Víctor se despide y ella lo llama descarado.

La Nana habla por teléfono y cuando cuelga se pone feliz ya que Carolina regresa de Boston. Karina escucha y dice que quiere conocerla y decide organizar una fiesta en su honor. La Nana se pone triste al escuchar a Karina. Isabela habla con Clemente y explica lo que pasó con la yegua Clemente dice que despida a todos ya que son unos incompetentes y que contrate a un Nuevo veterinario. En la oficina de Víctor, éste llama a Isabella la sirvienta responde y cuando le da El teléfono a Isabela, ésta cuelga. Víctor se sorprende. Llega el amigo de Víctor y dice que le consiguió una chica para que salgan esa noche. Víctor le informa que está interesado en Isabela.

Clemente hace planes con Cesar para casar a Isabela y decide que se casen en un mes. Cesar acepta. Cuando llega Isabela y Cesar dice que le va a dar una sorpresa esa noche ella se ve molesta. Cuando están en la discoteca Cesar informa la decisión de su padre que se casan en un mes. Isabela muy molesta dice que nadie decide por ella y no acepta la que ellos planearon. Aparece Víctor y Saluda a Cesar luego se presenta con Isabela está lo ve con ojos de desdén. Cesar lo invita a su mesa, Víctor acepta.

Clemente y su esposa se besan y ella lo seduce…..

Víctor trata de explicar a Isabella lo de sus hijas y ella pregunta si es divorciado el responde que si y luego trata de conquistarla. Isabella se niega a aceptarlo y se va no sin antes ambos se ven con ojos de deseo.

Al día siguiente Isabella conoce al Nuevo capataz de la hacienda. Luego va en busca de su yegua que está con el veterinario ¡y éste quién es sino Víctor!!!!!! Ella se sorprende y el sonríe.

Diana cenando con su amigo, Jan. Hablan de su papá y su esposa Ella dice que Isabela no soporta a Karina. Víctor busca a Isabela y ella no lo deja hablar y se va. El capataz quiere darle su gorra y Víctor la toma y dice que el se la dará. Diana con su amigo continúa hablando y se nota que Jan, está enamorado de Diana.

Víctor se entera que Octavio y Clemente son enemigos, su amigo se lo informa y dice que el n puede trabajar allí. Víctor dice que no hay problema.

En casa Soriano, Isabela se enfrenta con Karina. Está la amenaza que muy pronto la sacara de esa casa. Karina se burla de ella. Cuando en eso llega Carolina y todos muy alegres la abrazan. Clemente le presenta a Karina y Carolina comenta que ya sabe porque está tan enamorado. Isabella solo observa. Al fin Isabella y Carolina se abrazan hablan de todo el tiempo que ha pasado. Llega Diana y abraza a su hermana. Clemente comenta que ahora ya tiene a sus amazonas juntas. Isabela y Karina se ven con desprecio.

En la noche dan la fiesta de bienvenida para Carolina, Diana presenta a su amigo, Jan a su papá y este le dice que le de trabajo a Diana. Ella se molesta. Carolina habla con Isabela acerca de su próxima boda pregunta quien es el novio cuando llega Víctor y Saluda a Isabella. Carolina cree que Víctor es el prometido y lo recibe con los brazos abiertos. Isabela le explica que el no es y Carolina se disculpa y se retira. Llega Clemente e Isabella lo presenta como el Nuevo veterinario Clemente está muy satisfecho con Víctor y lo invita a tomar algo. Llega Rafael el novio de Carolina, ella lo presenta con Clemente y este dice que quiere que trate a su hija con respeto. Carolina dice que estudiaron en Boston y ahora son novios. Diana conoce a Víctor y luego Karina le pide que la acompañe. Aparece Cesar muy tarde y Clemente le llama la atención cuando Isabela losSaluda y Víctor está a su lado. Es cuando Cesar le da el anillo de compromiso y Víctor se sorprende que esté comprometida. Isabela se ve molesta. Isabela caminando ve a Carolina y está le dice que prefiere a Víctor, Isabela sonríe. Cuando Isabela se entero que Víctor se fue ella lo busca y lo encuentra en la puerta. ¿El dice que por qué no le dijo de su compromiso??? Luego dice que solo fue a darle su gorra y no se la dará hasta que le diga porque salio a buscarlo. Isabela se queda callada. Víctor le confiesa que ella le gusta muchísimo y cuando se piensa retirar Víctor la besa y ella responde al beso con mucha pasión.

7/11/03 - César and Victor fight outside. Victor’s eldest daughter blames Isabela. Then the children begin to fight. Victor drives Jimena and Isabel home. Jimena is obviously angry with Isabela. And César tells Nacho not to see Jimena again. Back home, Nacho tells his mother that his father fought with another men, asks his father who Isabela’s novia is, him or Victor. In his house, Jimena tells Victor she hates Isabela.

When Clemente remarks, again, that Isabela is the daughter most like him, Pascual says it is odd, since she isn’t really his child. Clemente talks of the time she was born. Pascual says that Clemente’s wife didn’t know the child wasn’t his.

Isabel tells César to stop fighting with Victor and that he will no longer be responsible for her horse Princesa. Clemente talks with Victor about Isabela’s not marrying César. Clemente blames Victor, asks him what his plans are re Isabela. Victor hesitates; Isabela enters the room. Clemente tells Victor he gained points by saving the horse and colt, but shouldn’t waste them; he is a man who collects his debts.

César meets with Clemente later, tells him that Isabela doesn’t want him around, not even as a trainer. Clemente tells César he is fortunate to have his support. Then they talk of horses to buy.

At dinner, Clemente goes almost apopletic when he learns the name of the architect for whom Diana has begun to work.

At his home, Octavio’s mother is upset that he has forgotten the death 27 years ago of his sister. Nor can his mother forgive Clemente for having stolen their land, before the death of Isabela. She reproaches Octavio for not doing anything, says there is no proof that Clemente killed his sister, at least it is impossible to prove.

USA, 7/14-18/03 WEEK 2:

La Opinión, 7/20/03 [Resumen de 7/14-18/03] Sólo telenovelas Laura M. López NIÑA AMADA MIA KMEX Canal 34, Los Angeles, lunes a viernes, 9:00 p.m. Clemente no acepta del todo que su hija haya terminado con César, pero por el momento prefiere dejar las cosas como están, esperando que el romance entre Isabela y el veterinario falle en algún momento. Isabela ha comenzado a ganarse el cariño y la confianza de las hijas de Víctor, aunque Jimena tiene aún un poco de celos, pero a veces se le olvida, ya que ella misma está enamorada nada menos que del hijo de César. Nacho también se siente atraído por Jimena y la cree una niña muy inteligente, pero la niña no dice nada. Jimena mintió a su papá diciéndole que había sacado muy buenas calificaciones, pero no fue así. Jimena mintió al respecto y Víctor lo descubrió cuando la maestra lo llama por teléfono para decírselo. Víctor habla con su hija y ella le promete que se pondrá al corriente en sus tareas por lo cual tendrá que estudiar mucho. Víctor está consciente de que él no puede ser mamá y papá a la vez. Clemente es un hombre de campo, pero se hizo de una gran fortuna estafando a Servando, el hermano de Octavio, quien considera a Soriano su peor enemigo. Y para comprobar que Clemente se robó la hacienda La Noria, contrata a un abogado. Isabela le pide a su padre que le diga toda la verdad acerca del gran secreto de Servand y los Soriano, y el porqué de ese odio entre ellos. Clemente no puede revelar tal secreto porque entonces quedarían al descubierto muchas cosas de lo que sucedió en el pasado, incluyendo que él se casó con la que fuera esposa de Servando. Pascual ha dejado entender que Isabela es hija de Servando. Por otro lado, Karina comienza a coquetearle a Víctor a quien le pide tutearla. El está de acuerdo y se dan la mano. En eso llega Isabela y se molesta al verlos juntos. Karina, percibe el coraje de Isabela y jura que se vengará por no aceptarla como la esposa de Clemente. Mientras tanto, Pablo decide abandonar la hacienda porque desea competir profesionalmente. Isabela es la única que tiene confianza en él y le promete hablar con Clemente para que lo apoye. Paz no está muy de acuerdo en eso, puesto que ella desea que Pablo estudie leyes o alguna otra carrera, porque no quiere que su hijo repita el mismo error que ella, de quedarse siempre en la hacienda sirviendo de criada. Pablo está enamorado de Carolina, quien a su vez levanta los celos al besarse con Rafael frente a él. Clemente le dice a Pablo que se quedará en la casa grande con la condición de que sirva de chofer de sus hijas cuando lo necesiten. Diana en tanto, es todo lo contrario de Isabela, por lo que decide renunciar al empleo que tiene con Octavio, quien fue obligado por Clemente para que también la despidiera. Octavio no piensa hacerle caso a su enemigo sino todo lo contrario, cuando Diana le dice que ya no puede trabajar, él le dice que la necesita a su lado. Julia escucha toda la historia del odio entre Clemente y la familia de Octavio. Julia y Octavio llevan varios años de relaciones, pero él no desea comprometerse con ella, a pesar de que a su madre le daría mucho gusto. Ella ve con buenos ojos a Julia.

Week #2 SPOILERS Author: Christine Date: 07-11-03 18:36 PDT

Clemente hides his displeasure after finding out that Diana is working for his worst enemy. Isabela discovers a picture of her mother while she was pregnant. Victor invites Isabela to the movies. Clemente talks to Isabela about her new love and acts surprised when he sees the picture on Isabela's bureau. Clemente scolds Paz over the picture and demands she take it out of there and burn it. Mauricio and Diana's relationship progresses; she seems to be very much in love. Paz receives news from the ranch and finds out that her son left to the city. Diana, Carolina, and Isabela talk about Diana's job. Carolina and Isabela advise her not to quit. Clemente and Octavio see each other at the Club Hipico and end up in a heated discussion. Octavio blames Clemente for his father's death, Clemente denies it all. Ximena and Nacho's friendship keeps progressing. Carolina and Pablo argue. Paz is happpy to see her son but reprimands him for leaving his studies. Isabela is surprised to see Pablo at her house. Karina asks Clemente if she can replace the portrait of his first wife, Isabella with hers. Clemente finds out that Pablo spent the night at his house and is furious. Victor finds out that Ximena isn't doing well in school. Karina talks maliciously with Victor. Clemente is visited by Julia Moreno, Octavio Uriarte's lawyer. Octavio scolds Victor about working for Clemente and asks him to stop working for him. Isabela asks Paz if it's true that the Uriarte's were the old owners of La Noria. Cesar goes to see Clemente who asks him to work with Victor. Clemente tells everyone they're going to the ranch. Rafael and Carolina wet Pablo with their car to mock him. Carolina and Pablo see each other in the fields. Isabela insists to Clemente and tells him to tell her the truth. He tells her HIS version. Pascual informs Clemente that he can't find Melchor Arrieta anywhere. Carolina humiliates Pablo. Karina asks Clemente to let her stay in the Hacienda and send for her after. Victor tells him that one his animals has a foot infection and he might need to be operated. Isabela confesses to Victor that she is a jealous person and she doesn't forgive betrayal. Karina flirts with Victor. Ok... seems things are gonna start heating up. Will skanky Karina have her way with Victor? What REALLY happened between the Sorianos and Uriartes in the past? USA, 7/18/03 - Pablo pushes Carolina against a tree, tells her that he loves her, kisses her. She responds, but won’t admit she loves him, rides off.

Isabel asks her father to tell her the truth about the fight between him and Octavio. Clemente tells her that Octavio was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, is arrogant, has always resented what Clemente has won in spite of his humble beginnings. At 20, Octavio went to Europe, studied in the best schools while he worked to feed himself. Octavio can’t accept the idea that he is their equal. He tells her that he wasn’t the employee of Cervando, was his associate, friend. Clemente tells her that one day Cervando decided to sell part of his properties, gave Clemente a special price because of their friendship. The property included this house. It was completely legal.

Pablo follows Carolina back to the house, to the kitchen, repeats that he loves her. She still refuses to say anything.

At dinner, Rafael admits to Clemente that he prefers the sea to horses.

Pascual tells Clemente there’s no sign of Melchor Arrieta. Clemente says he has to appear, will make sure he does. Later, Pascual asks Pablo if he is interested in Carolina, gets no answer.

Nacho tells his mother he is going to ask Jimena to be his novia. She tells him that you can’t just ask, have to win her.

Carolina cries, asks Rafael to forgive her, doesn’t say for what.

Victor and Isabel sit together in the woods, talk, kiss.

One of Clemente’s horses has colic. Victor tells him he may have to take the horse to Mexico for treatment.

Rafael again tries to figure out what is wrong with Carolina.

Isabel tells Carolina she doesn’t like the way Karina treats Victor, also notices that something is wrong with Carolina. Isabel tells her that Karina was flirting with Victor; Carolina can’t believe it.

At the stable, Karina walks up to Victor who is with a horse, she asks for his help with Isabela, doesn’t know why Isabel hates her so. Victor tells Karina he thinks she is jealous of Karina because of her father. Then he asks Karina what she wants; she says him, takes his hand.

USA, 7/21-24/03 WEEK 3:

La Opinión, 7/27/03 [resumen de 7/21/03-7/25/03] - Solo telenovelas Laura M. López NIÑA AMADA MIA KMEX Canal 34, Los Angeles, lunes a viernes, 9:00 p.m. Carolina también está enamorada de Pablo pero no quiere admitirlo por ser él un peón en la hacienda de don Clemente. Sin embargo, la fuerza del amor es más fuerte y cede a los besos del muchacho. Pero sólo duró un momento la felicidad para ambos, porque ella volvió a recordarle que es hija del patrón con su actitud y que lo mejor que debe hacer es irse de la casa. Pablo también no se siente a gusto en la casa grande, y le dice a Paz que ya no quiere ir a la universidad ni tampoco quedarse ahí. Ella trata de convencerlo, pero ya la decisión está tomada. Clemente se molesta mucho con Pablo porque ya tiene casi todo listo para su admisión a la universidad. Por otro lado, Isabela creyó que por fin había encontrado la felicidad al lado de Víctor, sin embargo no fue así. La muchacha encontró a su novio besándose apasionadamente en el baño con Karina, la mujer de su padre. Isabela sale furiosa de la recámara de Víctor y él tras de ella para explicarle que las cosas no eran como parecían. En la sala Chofi se dio cuenta de todo y estaba segura que algo grueso había pasado. Detrás de ellos venía Karina en bata, con lo que Chofi terminó por confirmar lo que se imaginaba... . Isabela no quiso saber más de Víctor y dio por terminada su relación entre ellos. Víctor regresó a su casa muy triste y su hija lo notó, pero él pretextó mucho cansancio. Pero las cosas no iban a quedar ahí, si de por si Isabel no quería para nada a Karina, mucho menos ahora que le había sido infiel a don Clemente en su propia casa y nada menos que con el novio de su hija preferida. Isabel y Karina se agarraron a golpes frente los empleados. Pascual logró separarlas para ya Karina tenía su rostro marcado. Ella decide adelantar su viaje y le pide al chofer que la lleve a la ciudad. Cuando Clemente vio a Karina, se molestó mucho con su hija, pero después Pascual habló con él y le hizo ver que tenía prácticamente poco tiempo de conocer a Karina cuando se casó con ella, y que no podía culpar así nomás a Isabela. Después Clemente le dice a su mujer que si es cierto que lo engañó, ¡la mata! Karina por su parte, le dice a César que es el momento de reconquistar a Isabela, porque además le conviene más ser el yerno que el entrenador. Octavio le dice a Diana que si la tiene trabajando con él es porque realmente aprecia su trabajo y no para molestar a Clemente como ella piensa.

Karina tries to seduce Victor. Luz is happy to see her Godfather Clemente. Esparza tells Victor that Octavio is looking for him and will be mad at him. Diana shows up to work and Octavio scolds her for not showing up. Clemente hires Hurtado to track down Melchor Arrieta. Isabela asks Victor to steer clear of Karina. Isabela and Victor go to the river where they love each other intensely. Victor goes to take a shower, we see him soaped up and feminine legs as a woman (Karina?!) start to caress him. Isabela walks in on them. Victor wants to talk to Isabela but she won't open the door because her pride is hurt. Casilda tells Pascual that there's something going on between Karina and Victor. Isabela faces off with Karina and slaps her. Karina slaps her back. Carolina is surprised when she sees Pablo. Isabela habla con Paz y le cuenta lo sucedido. Isabela leaves her house in her car and almost crashes into Victor's truck. Paz reprimands Victor over what he did to Isabela. He tells her he didn't do anything and that it was a setup by Karina. Pablo tells Clemente in front of his mother that he really doesn't want to study. Karina tells Cesar that Isabela and Victor broke up. Diana arrives at Octavio's house to tell him she's quitting. Isabela acuses Karina of cheating on Clemente. Isabela tells Paz that she's leaving the house. Isabela stays at her best friend Susana's house. Karina gets angry when she finds out all of Clemente's daughters ate except for because she was waiting for him. Rafael asks Carolina over her coldness and she doesn't respond. Victor helps his daughter Ximena to study and tells her everything will come out welll in the exams. Clemente asks Victor what his involvement with his wife Karina is.

OK there you have them. Karina's skankiness is in full swing next week. Will Isabela and Victor get back together? Will we get rid of Orange guy for good? All of the burning questions will be answered next week. Lol

7/25/03 - The maid Chofi tells Victor that Isabel left the house after a huge argument with her father, and tells Victor he doesn’t deserve an explanation.

Isabel’s father insists on talking with her. Isabel tells him that he believed Karina, not her, so she had to leave. They reconcile, he accepts that she will leave in her own place, but wants her to continue to be his right hand, in the buisness and the stables.

Susana tells Isabel to talk to Victor, clarify matters. She says there is nothing to clarify: he was with Karina, her father’s wife.

At a reception, Diana admits to mauricio that Octavio makes her nervous. Meanwhile, Octavio tells ? that Diana is very talented.

Victor’s friend advises him to forget Isabel, she brings him nothing but problems.

Clemente dines with the lawyer Julia Moreno, compliments her on her beauty and her intelligence, suggests she could go much further working for him than for Octavio.

USA, 7/28/03 – 8/1/03 WEEK 4:

La Opinión, 8/3/03 [resumen de la semana 7/28/03 - 8/1/03] - Sólo Telenovelas Laura M. López NiÑA AMADA MIA KMEX, Canal 34, Los Angeles, lunes a viernes, 9:00 p.m. Tan pronto Impacto se recupere, Víctor informa a Clemente que ya no trabajará más para él. César trata de poner en mal al veterinario con Soriano, pero éste le dice que no mezcle las cosas personales con las de trabajo. Por otro lado, Ximena ya tiene permiso de su papá para que Nacho la visite y sea su novio; sin embargo, a Víctor le preocupa mucho porque cree que su hija aún es muy joven, aunque prefiere que sea con su consentimiento a que ella lo haga a escondidas. Víctor se pone celoso porque Ximena le dijo que el papá de Nacho e Isabela están juntos otra vez. En el hospital, cuando Isabela pasa a ver a Impacto, se encuentra con Víctor, quien le dice que no ha podido olvidarla. El veterinario la abraza y besa a la fuerza, pero Isabela le responde con una bofetada. Ella le dice que no quiere armar un escándalo; sin embargo, él vuelve a besarla y le dice que la sigue amando. Isabela vuelve a abofetearlo y sale muy enojada. Una vez en casa le dice a Paz que lo sucedido en el hospital con Víctor mientras visitaba a Impacto. La nana le aconseja que debe actuar como una persona adulta porque más tarde puede arrepentirse. La joven confiesa que también sigue enamorada de Víctor, pero que nunca podrá perdonarle que la haya engañado. Víctor, por su parte, entra furioso a su oficina y ni caso le hace a Gladys, quien opta por dejarlo solo. Por otro lado, Clemente le dice a Carolina que compró unos terrenos en Valle de Bravo y los puso a su nombre porque ya es tiempo que se vaya haciendo cargo de los negocios de la familia. Carolina se molesta porque su padre no la consultó antes. Clemente también le dice que ese mismo día Pablo la llevará a Valle para que firme los documentos. Una vez en el trayecto, Carolina ignora por completo a Pablo. Sin embargo, el coche tiene problemas y aún les falta mucho por llegar y ya es bastante tarde. Pablo decide buscar ayuda mientras Carolina se queda esperándolo. En tanto, en casa de los Soriano, todos estaban preocupados porque Carolina y Pablo no han llegado todavía. Lo que sucedió es que los muchachos fueron atacados por unos tipos y los dejaron sin el coche. Clemente dio parte a la policía y poco después el auto fue encontrado, pero de Pablo y Carolina ninguna noticia. Los jóvenes por fin encontraron un hotel pero no había teléfono y tuvieron que esperar a que amaneciera. Una vez en casa, esa noche Carolina no podía dormir y sólo pensaba en lo que sucedió aquella noche en La Noria. A Pablo le sucedía lo mismo, y cuando tocaron a la puerta de su habitación pensó que era Paz, pero no... era Carolina. Para eso, ya la muchacha le había dicho a su hermana que estaba enamorada de Pablo, pero que no quería aceptarlo. Para esto, Clemente ya había hablado con Rafael y quería que él y Carolina se casaran lo más pronto posible. Clemente se sorprende que su hija no sepa mucho de la familia de su futuro esposo. Por eso lo manda investigar para ver si es digno de casarse con Carolina. Diana, por su parte, se pone feliz de que el proyecto de Octavio Iriarte fuera el elegido para las inversiones que hizo su padre, aunque éste aún ignora quién es el arquitecto.

Spoilers Week 4 Author: Christine Date: 07-24-03 21:10 PDT

Clemente asks Victor what involvement he has with Karina. Isabela still disturbed by her encounter with Victor caresses Princesa. Isabela treats Cesar with frialty. Victor finds out that Uriarte (Octavio) hired another veterinarian and gets angry. Alvarado visits Clemente to try and convince him to be a partner in his architectural structure. Cesar finds Isabela and her car won't start. He offers to give her a ride and she has no choice but to accept. Paz takes Isabela a suitcase to Susana's house. Hurtado goes to the Soriano mansion and Karina treats him well Isabela pets Impacto who doesn't look too well after Cesar took him out for a trot without Victor's authorization. Diana visits Alvarado in his office and he shows her the designs. She tells him she recognizes them. Isabela sees Victor after he's done operating. He tells her that the horse will be fine. She tells him that ha can pick up his paycheck now. Julia goes to the notaria (notary office?) and asks for Melchor Arrieta. Octavio tells Julia that Melchor is the only person that can expose Clemente Soriano. Carolina and Pablo are stranded halfway because the van broke down, Pablo leaves to go look for help and Carolina stays there by herself, some men go by there and start to bother her. Victor goes to Susana's house to see Isabela, she opens the door and tells him to leave, but he refuses. A wounded Pablo and Carolina stop at a motel for the night. Victor says goodbye ironically and leaves. Clemente and Santos look for Carolina and Pablo on the road with no luck. The police tells Clemente that they found the car but there's no sign of Carolina and Pablo. Carolina gets in touch with Clemente and tellls him they're on their way home. Clemente tells Diana that he will give money to fund Octavio's project. Cesar and Isabela talk and Victor watches them from a distance. Cesar, excited, kisses Isabela who notices Victor saw them. Pablo tells Isabela that he's in love. Clemente sees Rafael and Carolina and tells them to set a date for the wedding. Karina gets angry when she finds out Diana will represent Clemente in the architectural project. (Why the hell does that skank care?!) Rafael goes home and his mother tells him that the only solution out of their debt is him marrying Carolina. Victor stops in front of Susana's building and behind him a police car. Diana tells Isabela that Carolina and pablo spent the night together. Isabela following Clemente's orders tells Victor to come work for her father again. Carolina asks Pablo to fix a lamp in her room, he goes up, and when they're getting hot and heavy Paz walks in and discovers them.

Ah yes...I see this getting better and better every week.

7/28/03 - Re: Missed yesterday!! Author: v (---) Date: 07-29-03 14:05 PDT

Nothing major leaps to mind - this novela is quite slow and dull... Probably the biggest thing was when Clemente's private investigator guy visits the mansion and turns out to have previously been in secret cahoots with Karina - they referred to the investigator having somehow facilitated the wedding of Karina to the rich old coot. Clemente, knowing nothing of the history there, was none too pleased to see investigator guy at his home and pretty much runs him out, telling Karina that she should only be nice to him (Clemente) not to any household visitors!!!!!!! Some horse is in mortal danger and Isabela is blaming Victor, meanwhile Victor is upset that Jimena saw Isabela in Cesar's car when Cesar came by the school. Carolina and Pablo are dreaming of each other...

8/1/03 - In the night, Carolina goes to Pablo’s bedroom, they make love.

In a disco, Victor and ? meet two women. Isabela is also there, with Susana, meets Danilo who tells her she is beautiful. Victor leaves his table early, as does Isabela and Susana. The two run into Victor. Isabela denies knowing him at first, refuses to talk with him.

Diana warns Carolina that her romance will have a bad ending.

Clemente tries to convince Isabela to re-hire Victor Izaguirre, is convinced that only Victor can care properly for his horses.

Judith Rincon del Valle tells her son Rafael that he will marry Carolina.

Carolina and Pablo go to the university together, have fun just being together.

Clemente learns that Julia is also looking for Melchor. Clemente asks his investigator to check into Rafael, suspects he isn’t what he seems to be.

Isabel visits Victor for her father, offers him the job as his father vet, leaves.

After a business meeting, Octavio invites Diana for a bite to eat, at the same time that Clemete is gloating as he thinks of Octavio’s reaction at seeing Diana representing him in the meeting. Diana confesses to Octavio she would rather be his employee than his associate, misses the office.

Pablo’s mother finds him and Carolina in bed together.

USA, 8/4-8/03 WEEK 5:

La Opinión, 8/10/03 [resumen de 8/4-8/03] Sólo telenovelas Laura M. López Niña amada mía KMEX Canal 34, Los Angeles, lunes a viernes, 9:00 p.m. Con la confianza que Paz se ha ganado a través de los años, le permite entrar sin anunciarse a la recámara de las hijas de don Clemente. Sin embargo, en esta ocasión hubiera preferido haberlo hecho. Paz sorprende a su hijo Pablo haciendo el amor con Carolina en su recámara. Paz les grita que son unos irresponsables y sale del cuarto. En la cocina Chofi le pregunta que le sucede, pero ella no le contesta y se va al despacho. Pablo en tanto trata de tranquilizar a Carolina y le dice que hablará con su mamá. Paz le dice a su hijo que se vaya de ahí, que ya no puede permanecer en ese lugar. El acepta irse aun con lágrimas en los ojos. Después de empacar le pide diga a Carolina que regresará por ella. Paz entonces va al cuarto de Carolina y le dice que ese amor no puede ser por las diferencias de clases sociales. Carolina jura que ama a Pablo y que a ella eso no le importa. Después Paz le dice que Pablo se fue de la casa. En tanto, Diana acepta que Octavio la lleve a su casa. Ambos se sienten muy bien cuando están juntos, a pesar de la gran diferencia de edades. Diana entra feliz al cuarto de su hermana para contarle de lo bien que le fue, y entonces es cuando Carolina le dice lo que pasó con Pablo. Para esto, ya también Isabela sabía por el mismo Pablo que estaba enamorado de Carolina y para ella no fue sorpresa porque le dice que desde niños ellos siempre se identificaron. Carolina no ha dejado de llorar desde que Pablo se marchó y lo peor es que nadie le quiere decir a dónde se fue. La muchacha viaja a la hacienda pero tampoco Pascual se lo dice, que es mejor para todos. Casilda se preocupa mucho por Carolina porque no quiere comer desde que llegó. Sin embargo, Casilda teme que Carolina enferme y las cosas empeoren por eso mejor le dice donde está Pablo. En tanto en casa de los Soriano, Paz ya no haya que inventar cada vez que Clemente pregunta por Carolina. Por otro lado, la madre de Rafael le dice que esa misma tarde le proponga matrimonio a su novia, pues ya no tienen dinero para pagar las deudas. Para esto, Clemente ya sabe que la familia de Rafael no tienen ni un centavo y sospecha que por eso es que quiere casarse con Carolina. Isabela estaba considerando regresar con Víctor, pero de nuevo Karina se interpone entre ellos. Isabela pasa a visitar a Pili, quien amaneció enferma y se encuentra con la esposa de su padre ahí también. En ese momento, por respeto a las hijas de Víctor, Isabela no le da su merecido, pero después en casa le dice que es una víbora y le da de bofetadas. Isabela ahora sí piensa decirle todo a su padre. Después Víctor trata de hablar con Isabela, pero ésta no quiere saber nada de él. El también trata de decirle que ha reconsiderado su renuncia, pero ella le dice que hable con César al respecto. Víctor por su parte le dice a Ximena que no tiene edad para tener novio y lo mismo hace con Nacho, y que si de verdad se quieren, podrán esperarse un tiempo, mientras tanto pueden seguir siendo amigos, pero sin besos. Karina hace la peor escena de celos a Clemente cuando ésta cenaba en un restaurante con Julia. Esto casi le cuesta su matrimonio a Karina, pues Clemente la amenazó con regresarla a su pueblo. Karina se queda furiosa. Carolina encuentra a Pablo y se abrazan felices. En el lugar donde el muchacho se está quedando vive nada menos que el hombre tan buscado por Clemente y Julia... el famoso Melchor. Por otro lado, Diana y Octavio se quedan solos cuando fueron a estudiar el terreno donde construirán el proyecto turístico. Octavio siente deseos de besar a la joven y Diana no se resiste. El le pide disculpas por su atrevimiento y ella vuelve a besarlo.

Paz surprises Carolina in Pablo's room. Paz kicks Pablo out of the house. Victor sits in his car wondering how he's going to explain to Ximena the changes she'll have from girl to woman. Karina finds Paz in the office and they argue. Carolina threatens Paz with going after Pablo. Clemente asks about Pablo and Paz tells him he has left the house. Victor and Susana meet. Cesar wins the competition and invites Isabela to go with him to receive his prize. Isabela and Diana figure out that their mother is hugging the brother of their father's worst enemy and tell Carolina about it. Victor's daughter gets sick and he calls the pediatrician. He's not able to reach the pediatrician so he calls Susana, Isabela offers to go with her. Isabela and Karina fight. (Oh yeah! let's hope Isa wipes the floor with Karina again). Melchor Arrieta still hasn't been located. Hurtado informs Clemente about the financial situation of the Rincon Del Valle's and that they're bankrupt. Rafael's mom speaks well of Don Clemente and pressures Rafael to speed up the wedding so it'll happen as soon as possible. Victor surprises Ximena kissing Nacho and they're both scared. Victor goes to see Isabela and tells her he's reconsidered quitting and tells her he's at her service. Pablo goes to the place that Pascual recommended and he gets a job. Carolina gets happy because she now has the address where she can find Pablo. Nacho and Ximena break up and stay friends. Isabela tries to tell her father that Karina visits Victor but he ignores her and changes the subject. Diana is getting ready to go eat with Mauricio and he asks her to marry him. Karina goes to the restaurant where Clemente is meeting with Julia and Karina throws herself at Julia. Julia doesn't know what to do. Octavio and Diana travel to the beach to look at the grounds where the Turistic Center will be built. Clemente is furious when he finds out that Carolina went after Pablo. Rafael tells his mother that Carolina has a romance with a servant. Clemente finds out that Pablo works at the Club Hipico and goes to look for him. Clemente knocks at the door and is surprised when a drunk Melchor Arrieta opens the door.

Allllll righty seems we're having catfights again this week. Maybe Julia will defend herself and pull an Isabela on Karina? Let's hope so because that skank deserves to be dragged around.

USA, 8/8/03 - Clemente’s wife is jealous of him.

Diana and Octavio talk on the beach. He talks of his dreams. Diana confesses to him that she doesn’t want to marry Mauricio, isn’t in love with him, loves another. They kiss. He apologizes. Others appear and they leave the beach. When they return, Octavio tells him to forget this, he is old enough to be her father. She tells him that she is in love with him, since the first day she met him, doesn’t want to give him up. He reminds her that he is the worst enemy of her father. She says goodnight.

Carolina is with Pablo, tells him everything will work out. He takes her to the room he’s got. Pascual and Pablo’s mother Paz are worried.

Isabel and her novio César end up at the same place as Victor and Jorge.

Paz confesses to Clemente that Carolina has left the house. He demands to know why she didn’t tell him, wants to know where she is and with whom. Paz confesses she is with Pablo. He demands to know where they are. Paz tells him that Pascual found him a job.

Octavio’s lawyer calls him, thinks she has found Melchor.

Clemente confronts Casilda and Pascual. Pascual tells Clemente that Isabel came after Pablo whom he had sent away. Casilda couldn’t stand Isabel’s tears. Pascual admits he sent Pablo to Vicente Perez.

Clemente and his men find Melchor.

USA, 8/11-15/03 WEEK 6:

La Opinión, 8/17/03 [resumen de 8/11-15/03] Sólo Telenovelas Laura M. López ‘NIÑA AMADA MIA’ KMEX, Canal 34, Los Angeles, lunes a viernes, 9:00 p.m. Pablo y Carolina eran la pareja más feliz del mundo, se entregaban a su amor sin importarle a ella la humildad del cuarto donde decidió vivir con Pablo. Sin embargo, esa dicha sólo duró un par de días. Clemente obligó a Pascual decirle dónde se encontraba Pablo con su hija y él personalmente fue a buscarlos. Al llegar al hípico, Clemente mató dos pájaros de un solo tiro: encontró a Pablo y al tan buscado Melchor Arrieta. Clemente le pide un documento comprometedor para él, pero Melchor le dice que ese documento ya no existe ni tampoco copia alguna. Soriano amenaza con mantenerlo vigilado para asustarlo y obligarlo a que le entregue ese papel. Después, Clemente va al cuarto de Pablo y ordena a su hija Carolina regresar con él a la casa. La muchacha entre lágrimas le dice que no, porque está enamorada de Pablo. Entonces Clemente le dice una cruel razón para obligarla a abandonar al caballerango. Clemente le dice a su hija que ese amor no puede ser porque Pablo es su hermano. Carolina le grita que no es cierto y le reclama porque no se lo dijo antes. El hombre le dice que es un secreto que había prometido a Paz no revelar jamás, pero ahora, debido a las circunstancias, lo tuvo que hacer. Carolina, antes de irse de la hacienda le dice a Pascual y Casilda cuánto los odia. Ellos se quedan extrañados del porqué ese comentario de la joven. Cuando llegaron a la casa, Clemente manda llamar a Rafael para decirle que tendrían boda muy pronto en esa casa. En eso, Clemente preguntaba a su hija si se quería casar con Rafael, cuando Pablo entra y Carolina al verlo contesta que sí. Carolina salió a despedir a Rafael y le pregunta por cuánto lo compró su padre para que se casara con ella. Rafael le dijo que no dijera eso, que él si quería esa boda. Rafael se fue y Pablo detiene a la muchacha. Carolina recuerda las palabras de su padre y entonces, en una forma denigrante, le dice a Pablo que a poco pensaba que ella se iba a fijar en alguien como él y le dio las gracias por el jueguito. Pablo ruega... hasta llora cuando le dice que eso no es cierto, que ella lo ama, pero Carolina no soporta más ese dolor y entra a la casa para que él no la vea llorar. Pablo regresa al hípico más triste que nunca, porque siente que ahora sí perdió a Carolina. En tanto, Melchor le dice que ya no quiere seguir rentándole el cuarto a alguien que esté relacionado con Clemente Soriano. Poco después, Mechor recibe la visita de Julia, quien logra sacarle la verdad del documento que él notarizó de la venta falsa de La Noria para evitar que a Servando le quitaran todo debido a las deudas que tenía. Julia también habla que debe existir otro documento donde dice que después de un tiempo determinado, La Noria y todo lo demás regresaría a su dueño original. Melchor le confirma que así fue, pero que en esa pocilga donde vive no sabe dónde lo dejó, además que ya han pasado muchos años. Días después, Julia recibe la visita de Melchor en su oficina. El le dice que ya encontró el documento y que le costará tal cantidad. Julia habla con Octavio y le sugiere pagarla y le recuerda que también Clemente está interesado en tener ese papel. Mientras tanto, Ximena recibe otra oportunidad para hacer el examen que reprobó para no ser expulsada del colegio. Víctor por su parte, había enviado flores a Isabela pero ésta fue y se las tiró enfrente de su casa con una tarjeta. Cuando Víctor le pregunta si se divirtió al hacerlo y trata de besarla a la fuerza, Isabela le da tremenda bofetada y le dice que ya no la moleste, porque muy pronto se casará con César. Cuando César se entera por el mismo Víctor, va y habla con Isabela, quien le pide disculpas por haberlo usado. El le dice que siempre estará ahí si un día decide casarse con él de verdad. Al ver a Mauricio muy triste y confundido porque Diana no quiere casarse con él porque ella le dijo que está enamorado de otro hombre, Octavio decide olvidarse de su amor por la arquitecta. Para esto, Diana busca a Octavio en su casa para hablar de su relación, pero la madre de éste se comporta muy fría con ella. Además, le dice que Servando estuvo casado con su mamá antes de ser la esposa de Clemente.

Victor tells Isaela to think about what she's going to respond. Karina asks her if it's true she's returning to the house Isabela tells her it's a fact. Mauricio insists with Diana so she'll tell him who the man she loves is. Susana is gonna go out with Esparza and invites Isabela along so she can distract herself. Octavio and Diana see each other at Mariagna's exposition. Hurtado goes to the house of the Soriano's and asks to speak with Karina. Isabela asks Hurtado for an explanation over what she's witnessed and he gets nervous. Karina threatens Isabela. Robles congratulates Pablo because he's showed he's a good jockey. A strange woman calls Karina and she's surprised to see her (her mother MAYBE?). Clemente visits Melchor. Karina and Zulema talk. Octavio tells tells Victor to go work for him again. Clemente invites Julia to the Noria, at first she declines but ends up accepting his invitation. Isabela surprises Victor and Karina kissing. Victor gets angry and protests about Karina's attitude towards him. (skanky advances?). Isabela tells Diana that Carolina is not happy about the news of her wedding being published in the paper. Isabela tells Hurtado that she wants to know what he finds out about Karina. Diana and Octavio consolidate their love. Clemente comes back from La Noria and finds a letter from Karina telling him she's leaving him because she can't take the humiliation of him taking Julia to the hacienda. Clemente locks himself in his office and starts drinking. Pablo finds out about Carolina's wedding while reading the paper. Clemente sees Victor and invites him to Carolina's wedding. Pascual goes to see Melchor when Santos is beating him. Rafael tells his mother he doesn't want to get married. She tells him this is for their benefit. Pablo sees Victor and Pablo tells him he works there nad he can count on him for anything. Victor offers to help him become a better jockey. Karina is desperate to track down Hurtado. Isabela tells Karina that she has all the information about her life. Paz tries to talk to Carolina but she won't hear any of it. She demands to know why Paz hid the fact that her and Pablo were brother and sister.

8/15/03 - Isabel admits to her novio that she used him to get rid of Victor. He tells her he will b waiting should she want him.

Diana meets Octavio’s mother Doña Socorro who says the knew Octavio years before. Diana learns that her mother was her son Cervando’s wife. Octavio’s mother tells Diana that Clemente did things she can never forgive, can’t avoid disliking Diana because of who her father is. Socorro promises to tell Octavio that she dropped by.

At the office, Octavio tells Mauricio not to give up on Diana, forget about the man she said she loved.

Mariagna tells Octavio that she and Diana talked, told her she was going to fight for him, marry him.

Susana and Jorge go out to dinner. He tells her all the things they have in common.

Diana visits Isabela, tells her about Cervando. Isabel can’t believe it.

Clemente admits to Paz that he beat up Pablo, says he deserved it. But he and Pablo talked and Pablo saw that Clemente was right.

Melchor tells Pascual that he doesn’t have the document, burned it. Pascual tells Clemente but suggests that he talk personally to Melchor, isn’t sure he was telling the truth.

Socorro tells Octavio about Diana’s visit, says she told her about her mother but nothing more. Diana admits to Isabela that she loves Octavio.

Isabela asks Clemente about her mother and Cervando. He asks her who told her. She says that doesn’t matter, wants to know if it is true. She tells him that Diana told her, learned it from Socorro Uriarte. He insults Socorro. Then he tells Isabela that he and her mother were in love. He went north on business, was gone a long time. When he came back she was married to Cervando, the result of a dirty trick by the Uriartes, something so bad he won’t talk about it. But one day Cervando died, he got back the land he’d lost, married her mother a year after Cervando’s death, made her mother happy. They hug.

Mariagna talks with Socorro about Octavio, wants to be married, have children. She asks Socorro if there is another woman. Socorro advises Mariagna to be patient.

USA, 8/18-22/03 WEEK 7:

La Opinión, 8/24/03 [summary of 8/18-22/03] Sólo telenovelas Laura M. López ‘NIÑA AMADA MIA’ KMEX, Canal 34, Los Angeles, lunes a viernes, 9:00 p.m. Pablo regresó al hípico muy decepcionado después que Carolina le dijo que no quería verlo nunca más en su vida. El no entendía del todo el porqué del cambio de la muchacha, ya que apenas hacía unas horas se habían amado como nunca y jurado amor eterno. A Isabela también le extrañó la decisión tan apresurada de su hermana de casarse con Rafael si estaba segura que Carolina amaba a Pablo. Diana, por su parte, le pregunta a su hermana el porqué del cambio de actitud con Paz, a pesar de que desde niña siempre fue la preferida de ella. Carolina no quiso decirles a sus hermanas y ni siquiera a Paz lo que su padre le confesó... que Pablo y ella eran hermanos, por eso no debían amarse. Carolina no quiere saber nada de Paz por ocultárselo. Rafael no estaba muy convencido de querer casarse, pero su madre insistía que esa boda era lo mejor para ellos... en otras palabras, les convenía económicamente, pues Clemente les prometió pagarles todas sus deudas. La noticia de la boda apareció en el periódico y Carolina se molestó mucho, pues no quería que nadie se enterara, ya que para ella ese matrimonio no significaba nada. Judith, por su parte, como Clemente le dio carta abierta en los gastos, no escatima en los costos para la recepción. Por otro lado, Mauricio le dice a Octavio que le duele mucho que Diana haya terminado con él y se pregunta dónde conoció y quién es el hombre que le quitó su amor. Octavio se siente mal porque aprecia mucho a Mauricio, pero no puede decirle que Diana y él se han enamorado, a pesar de la gran diferencia de edades. La maestra de Jimena le llama a Víctor para decirle que Jimena por fin pasó el examen y él se pone muy contento por su hija, ya que no será expulsada del colegio. Víctor acepta trabajar de nuevo con Octavio, a quien le confiesa el gran amor que siente por Isabela. Le comenta sobre la serenata que le mandó toda la noche y del detalle de los alcatraces. El arquitecto entonces sugiere invitar a Jorge a celebrar que trabajarán juntos. Jorge invita a su vez a Susana, quien acepta encantada. La muchacha convence a Isabela para que la acompañe. En el trayecto, Susana le dice a su amiga que aparentemente Víctor la conquistó de nuevo con la serenata. Isabela sonríe y acepta que puede haber una reconciliación. Sin embargo, al llegar al restaurante, Isabela ve cuando Karina y Víctor se estaban besando. Isabela se pone furiosa y le reclama a Víctor. El intenta explicarle que es mentira lo que vio. Karina, muy cínica, le dice que cómo puede ser tan poco hombre para negar que es a ella a quien quiere y dejar atrás todo lo que han vivido juntos. Susana le dice a Víctor que no es el momento para tratar de dar una explicación y se van. Poco después, Jorge le dice a Susana que Karina es una descarada y mentirosa, porque Víctor a quien ama es a Isabela y por eso prefirió irse del restaurante, pero ella lo alcanzó en el estacionamiento y eso es lo que vio Isabela. Cuando Karina llegó a casa, se encuentra con que Clemente se fue a la hacienda. Ella quería dar su versión a Clemente de lo sucedido y lo llamó, pero uno de los peones le dijo que se encontraba en las caballerizas con la licenciada. Clemente regresa de la hacienda al día siguiente y encuentra una carta de Karina diciéndole que no soporta su infidelidad. Clemente destruye el papel y se encierra en su despacho. Para esto, Julia y Clemente se habían encontrado en el cuartucho de Melchor, quien no decidía a quién entregarle el documento. Entonces fue cuando Clemente invita a la licenciada a La Noria. Mientras platicaban, se dan cuenta que ninguno de los dos tiene el documento. Clemente estaba en lo cierto, que ella le había ganado en esta ocasión. La secretaria de Julia se regresó con Melchor y lo convenció de entregarle el papel.

USA, 8/22/03: Judith is dizzy with detaills for the wedding of Carolina.

Clemente reads a letter from his wife, Karina, saying goodbye, because he took another woman to the hacienda.

Nacho’s mother, the lawyer Julia Moreno, introduces herself to Sergio. He says he thought his daughter Jimena was a bit young to have a novia.

Pablo reads the news of Carolina’s wedding.

Isabela asks her father about Julia. He assures her it is just a business matter.

Isabela tells Paz she doesn’t understand Carolina’s marriage, she loved Pablo, now she doesn’t laugh, only cries.

Pablo stops Carolina’s car, gets in it, drives her someplace, stops. she runs out, he tells her he won’t let her marry another, demands to know what is going on. He thinks she has left him because he is poor, tries to convince her he can support her. She insists she loves her novio. He doesn’t believe it. She refuses to tell him the real reason.

Clemente visits Julia while Victor is in her house. He tells her he knows that she has a document that may hurt him. She asks him what he wants. He assures her he just wants her friendship. He denies having any other intention. He says she is smart and beautiful, will do what is most convenient. He says he needs the friendship of a woman like her, can confide in nobody. Before he leaves, he says he is sure he has won her friendship, right? She says yes, shows him out the door, looks confused afterwards.

Karina returns for her clothes. Clemente talks to her. Karina demands to know why he had to take that woman to the hacienda to discuss business. She tells him she expected him to ask forgiveness. But no, he just continues to lie to her. She tells him she gave him her life, her love, but he is mistaken if he thought he bought her. She has her self-respect. [She plays the offended woman very well.] He tells her to ask what she wants, he will give it to her. She demands proof, says she wants to be part of his life, part of his business...and, of course, ends up in his arms.

When Nacho asks his mother about Clemente, she tells him that he is a dangerous man, but charming.

Pascual and Santos visit a very drunk Melchor. Santos gives Melchor a severe beating. Pablo and a friend find him right after Pascual and his man leave, take him to the hospital.

At breakfast, Isabela again asks her father about Julia. He assures her that he has taken care of the problem she represented.

Julia meets with Octavio. She gives him the document assuring that the only owner of the hacienda was his brother. She tells him that it won’t help him get back the hacienda, but will server to get him and his family the moral victory they want [or something like that].

Isabela tells Diana that Karina and their father reconciled.

Isabel signs something for Hurtado, gets the results of his investigation into Karina.

USA, 8/25-29/03 WEEK 8:

La Opinión, 8/31/03 [resumen de 8/25-29/03] Sólo telenovelas Laura M. López NIÑA AMADA MIA KMEX, Canal 34, Los Angeles, lunes a viernes, 9:00 p.m. Clemente sospecha que la licenciada Moreno tiene ya el documento en sus manos, sin embargo no fue hasta que Pascual fue a visitar a Melchor para exigirle que se lo diera. Melchor estaba borracho como siempre y Pascual asumió que la licenciada lo había recompensado muy bien, puesto que había botellas de licor vacías y de buena calidad, además lo poco que le entendió Pascual, lo hizo atar cabos. Mientras tanto, los preparativos de la boda seguían, al igual que la tristeza de Carolina iba en aumento. Fue tanta la insistencia de Paz para que le dijera porqué la odiaba tanto, que la muchacha se lo dijo. Paz se sorprendió de la gran mentira que le dijo Clemente con tal de separarla de Pablo. Ella estaba a punto de decirle a Carolina que su padre le mintió pero justo en esos momentos entraba Clemente. El hombre como siempre impuso su autoridad y le dijo a Paz que la esperaba en su despacho. Una vez ahí la amenazó con hacerle algo a Pablo si abría la boca. Paz quería mucho a Carolina y le dolía verla sufrir y llorar todo el tiempo y que en unos días se casaría con un hombre que no amaba, pero con sólo pensar que a Pablo podría pasarle algo, prefirió callar. Fue hasta después que Paz le dijo a Pascual cómo logró separar Clemente a los muchachos. Pascual le dice que es mejor dejar las cosas como están, sabiendo como es Clemente cuando le llevan la contra. Casilda por su parte, llega a la ciudad para ayudar con los preparativos para el matrimonio y se enoja cada vez que ve a Paz y a su marido juntos. A Casilda nunca se le ha olvidado que Pascual y Paz estuvieron enamorados. Clemente manda llamar a su abogado para hacer algunos cambios y aunque el abogado le sugiere que espere un tiempo más, Soriano le dice que prepare los documentos necesarios para que Karina tenga acciones en la empresa. Isabela en tanto, ya tiene en sus manos la información que necesita para destruir a Karina, sin embargo le da la oportunidad para que sea la misma Karina quien le diga a Clemente su verdadero pasado. Y el día de la boda llegó, pero parecía que el más interesado era Clemente porque lo que era Carolina y Rafael, para nada les entusiasmaba. Ella ni siquiera eligió su vestido de novia... para la muchacha ese matrimonio era una farsa. Rafael por su parte, no tenía prisa por llegar a la residencia de los Soriano donde ya todo estaba casi listo. Diana e Isabela atendían a los invitados mientras llegaba el novio y el juez, quien venía con un poco de retraso haciendo más largo el martirio para Carolina. Isabela creyó que a pesar de que su padre invitó a Víctor, éste no asistiría por motivos obvios, sin embargo no había terminado de decir la frase a su amiga Susana, cuando él hace acto de presencia y nada menos que acompañado de la licenciada Moreno. La pareja se veía espectacular, lo cual provocó incomodidad en Isabela, furia en Karina, el enojo de César y los celos de Clemente, pero éste logró controlarlos y muy sonriente les dio la bienvenida. Acto seguido llegó el juez y se procedió al inicio de la ceremonia. Paz quiso impedir la boda pero Clemente de nuevo la mantuvo al margen y Carolina y Rafael quedaron legalmente casados. Diana se sentía muy triste por su hermana , ya que ella sentía que lo mismo podía pasarle a ella, por eso decidió ir en busca de Octavio y entregarse a su amor, a sabiendas que era el peor enemigo de Clemente. Para esto, en el hotel, Carolina le aclaró a Rafael que nunca sería su mujer, y que ese matrimonio era sólo para conveniencia de él y de su madre.

Pablo sees Victor and Pablo tells him he works there nad he can count on him for anything. Victor offers to help him become a better jockey. Karina is desperate to track down Hurtado. Isabela tells Karina that she has all the information about her life. Paz tries to talk to Carolina but she won't hear any of it. She demands to know why Paz hid the fact that her and Pablo were brother and sister. (This is what was left over from last week. We're an episode off because of the blackout and Monday's recap)

Now onto the new stiff...

-Octavio is surprised to see Diana, she tells him she had to see him and they kiss. Julia returns home after eating dinner with Victor. Nacho asks her if she's Victor's girlfriend yet. Julia says no but looks nervous. Clemente tells Diana to propose Octavio be replaced at the next meeting. Diana doesn't know what to tell him. Pascual pays Melchor a visit, who begs Pascual not to kill him. Isabela tells Karina that she'll give her the oppportunity of a lifetime, since she has ALL the information on her. (Hurtado giving her fake papers?) Diana refuses to follow Clemente's orders so he tells Isabela to suggest Octavio be replaced. Alvaro tells everyone at the meeting that Isabela will be taking Diana's place at the meeting. Diana interrupts the meeting and tells Isabela and everyone that legally she is the only represantative for the Soriano family. Isabela is bothered by Diana's attitude. USA, 9/1-5/03 WEEK 9:

La Opinión, 9/7/03 [resumen de 9/1-5/03] Sólo telenovelas Laura M. López ‘NIÑA AMADA MIA’ KMEX, Canal 34, Los Angeles, lunes a viernes, 9:00 p.m. Entre más leía Isabela el reporte que le dio el investigador más caía en la conclusión de que él trató de engañarla al igual que lo hizo con Clemente. Sin embargo Isabela no se deja llevar por las apariencias tan fácilmente y, como se ha propuesto desenmascarar a Karina para que su padre vea la clase de mujer con quien se casó, busca al investigador para exigirle entregue el reporte real. El hombre le dice que no hay nada más que decir, pero Isabela lo presiona y además le ofrece el doble si tiene el documento en una semana. Poco después llega Karina a la oficina del investigador y también le ofrece una gran cantidad de dinero para que no le dé nada a Isabela. Está de más decirles que al hombre no le interesa para nada defender a su amiguita, sino más bien obedecer a quien ofrezca más dinero. Mientras tanto, Isabela sale a cenar con Jorge y Susana y todo estaba muy bien hasta que ve llegar a Víctor acompañado de Julia. Lo peor fue cuando Isabela y Víctor quedaron frente a frente y era muy notorio que los celos la mataban a pesar de que trató de negarlo ante Susana y Jorge. Julia pregunta a Víctor si sabía que ella iba a estar ahí y que si por eso la invitó a ese restaurante. Víctor responde que no. Además, que si la invitó fue porque disfruta mucho de su compañía. Víctor le dice además que ya todo terminó entre ellos y que Isabela se casará en muy pocos días con César. Esta noticia sorprende a la licenciada, porque Nacho no le había comentado nada. Isabela llegó muy molesta a su casa y se encuentra con Clemente, quien también estaba furioso porque Diana no había llegado aún de la junta para pedirle explicaciones acerca de lo sucedido en la junta con los demás socios. Clemente le dice que aunque Diana sea su hija, ahora es su enemiga por haberse puesto en su contra y no proponer sacar a Octavio del proyecto. Claro que Diana no lo iba a hacer, aunque sabía de antemano la reacción de su padre. Para bajarle un poco el coraje, Isabela le dice a su padre que decidió casarse con César, lo cual rinde efecto en Clemente. Por otro lado, Casilda se quiere regresar a la hacienda pero Clemente no lo permite hasta que el doctor lo autorice y termine de hacerle todos los exámenes necesarios para ver porqué fue que sufrió ese desmayo. En realidad, lo que sucede es que Casilda está celosa de Paz porque Pascual y ella siempre están juntos, y aunque él le diga que no hay nada entre ellos, Casilda no se olvida que fueron novios cuando jóvenes. Mientras, Pablo ha comenzado a practicar en el hípico bajo la vigilancia de Jorge. En eso estaba cuando ve llegar a Carolina creyendo que se había arrepentido de haberse casado con Rafael. Carolina le dice que vino a confesarle algo que siempre les impedirá amarse: ¡Que son hermanos! Después de mucho hablar, Carolina le ruega que no haga ninguna tontería. Pablo se queda aún más confundido, pero su madre es la única que puede sacarle de esta duda. Socorro, por su parte, le dice a Mariagna que si Octavio ya no se ocupa de ella como antes, es que está enamorado de alguien más joven. Octavio después le reclama a su madre por meterse en su vida. Socorro le recuerda que Diana es la hija del hombre culpable por la muerte de Servando. En tanto en casa de Clemente, llega Sulema a buscar a Karina. Lo peor del caso es que Karina había dicho que saldría de compras con su amiga. Isabela hace un comentario sarcástico que no le gusta mucho a Clemente. Este invita a Sulema a quedarse a cenar con ellos, pero ella al ver que ha cometido una gran indiscreción quiere irse, pero Clemente insiste en que espere a Karina. Isabela entonces aprovecha para sacarle información entre copa y copa. Después de varias horas, por fin llega Karina sin imaginarse lo que le esperaba. Clemente la enfrenta y Karina, al verse sin salida, dice otra mentira más que convence a Clemente... que había ido al doctor para confirmar su embarazo.

All right I'm not sure how much will be covered this week. Because of the Holiday pre-emptions we're a few episodes off. The following will probably last until Tuesday/Wednesday if I'm not mistaken.

Isabela is bothered by Diana's attitude. Isabela tells Clemente that she couldn't do anything at the meeting because they vetoed her. Isabela tries to calm her father down. Rafael tries to force Carolina to sleep with him by telling her it's her duty as his wife. Victor and Julia talk romantically, she grabs his hand and he kisses her cheek. Pablo goes to see Paz and violently demands to know why she never told him Clemente was his father. Diana asks Carolina about her honeymoon and Carolina telkls her she can't stand her husband. Diana doesn't know what to do with the title she got at the meeting. Karina sees Isabela and they face off. Karina tells her that little by little she'll take everything Isabela has. Ximena tells Victor that Isabela is marrying Nacho's father next week. Julia tells Nacho to invite Ximena, Pili and Victor to dinner and they accept. Susana tells Isabela they finally gave her the scholarship she's been waiting for. Diana tells Isabe;a that Octavio has a document that can destroy their father. Clemente and Pablo face off and almost fight. Clemente finds Diana talking to Octavio. Clemente tells Victor to be very careful with Julia. Victor doesn't like the tone Clemente is using and let him know he doesn't like it. Karina looks for Victor and bothers him. Clemente calls Pascual and tells him he has to get Victor out of his way. After dropping Julia off at her house, Victor is brutally beaten. Julia takes him to the hospital and tells her theyre's not much hope for him to live. Melchor goes to a car dealer dressed funny and the salesman doesn't trust him. Karina makes fun of Isabela and tells her that those are the consequences for people who mess with her. (My guess is she's referring to Victor's beating). Mariagna tells Diana that she suspects Octavio has another woman. Ximena is worried about her dad, Nacho can't take it anymore and tells her what's really going on with her dad. Esperza surprises Victor by taking his daughters to the hospital. Melchor goes home and we see Santos with a remote control as Melchor's house blows up. Inside the house was all of Melchor's money he tries to save it but it's too late. Pascual informs Clemente over Victor's health and tells him he's one of the prime suspects. Melchor goes to see Julia to tell her what happened, she tells him that Clemente has done a lot of things already and she's not going to allow him to do anymore harm. Hurtado goes to see Isabela and gives her the REAL background check on Karina. He tells her that Karina left her previous job because she commited a fraud. Isabela gets a satisfied smirk after hearing this.

Ok like I said above I'm not sure how much of this is going to happen next week. We're so far off because of the pre-emptions so we'll see.

The big news at the end was that Carolina broke the news to Pablo that they were brother and sister. I missed tonight due to my doctoral class so can't explain to you his reaction, the other guys can. Also, as borne out in the spoilers, the paper that Hurtado gave to Isabela is false so Karina is relieved. And Caesar is getting off in the dangling his up and coming wedding with Isabela to Vet Victor. Clemente is forgiving Diana for her locuras in siding in with Octavio Uriate and not standing up for the Soriano position. I don't understand how such a smart wheeler dealer like Clemente cannot put two and two together that the two can be having a tryst. However, Octavio's longtime girlfriend does not seem to be so unsuspecting and was bugging him big time to please admit that he loves another woman, especially a younger woman --her quest for truth specifically comes out after her talk with Octavio's momma. He keeps on denying it and when she throws bait out like Julia he says he has nothing with her, only his lawyer. He finally placates her by hugging her and telling her that he cares for her and acknowledges he hasn't discounted the years they have had with each other. Carolina comes home running to Daddy's house and leaves her newly wed hubbie in the Acapulco hotel room, "chupandose la tequila". That is all in a nutshell. Sorry I couldn't give you more of a blow by blow and linear style synopsis but I am one tired sister from my class. Hope this will help.

USA, 9/5/03 - Clemente and Karina argue in front of Zulema and Isabel. Karina admits she lied about being with Zuleima because she had to see her doctor, is pregnant.

Victor calls Isabel, says that Carolina is there, is very depressed. Isabel asks her why she married Rafael if she loves Pablo. Carolina refuses to explain, wants to return home, live apart from Rafael, tells her she couldn’t stand to have him touch her. She also tells Isabel that she must be wrong about Victor. He is a good father and has treated her well.

Karina later tells Zulema she isn’t pregnant, shows her an expensive necklace, says that keeping Juan Hurtado quiet is expensive. Karina tells Zulema to take the necklace to Juan, say it is an advance from Karina. Karina says Clemente gave it to her on their wedding day, she’s never worn it so he won’t notice it.

Pablo demands an explanation from his mother, tells her he knows that Clemente is his father. She tells him things aren’t as they seem, but she must maintain silence. He tells her that he hates her as much as he once loved her, never wants to see her again.

Carolina tries to tell her father that she wants to live at home, alone. He misunderstands and assumes that she wants to live with Rafael so he makes arrangements.

Casilda tells Paz she knows that Melchor didn’t rape her, that’s just a story she told the fool Pascual. Paz slaps her. Casilda tells her that she won’t take Pascual away from her.

Melchor tells Pablo he married one woman but loved another.

Isabel tells Mariana that Clemente has arranged things with the lawyers. She will now represent them in the business and will destroy Octavio Uriarte.

USA, 9/8-12/03 WEEK 10:

La Opinión, 9/14/03 [resumen de 9/8-12/03] Sólo Telenovelas Laura M. López Niña amada mía KMEX Canal 34, Los Angeles, lunes a viernes, 9:00 p.m. La salida que tuvo Karina para evitar el enojo de Clemente, fue decirle que estaba embarazada... y por supuesto que funcionó ya que el hombre se transformó complemente. Desde ese momento Soriano comenzó a preocuparse de que su esposa tuviera los cuidados y alimentación correspondiente para que su hijo naciera sano y fuerte. Sin embargo Isabela no creyó ni una palabra, sino al contrario estaba segura que era otra artimaña de Karina. Sulema no estaba tan segura, por eso se quedó a solas con su amiga para que le explicara porqué inventó esa mentira. Karina le dijo que todo ese tiempo estuvo con el detective tratando de convencerlo para que no le entregara a Isabela el verdadero reporte de la investigación que hizo para Clemente antes de casarse. Sin embargo, había que pagar su silencio y el hombre no se conformaría con cualquier cosa, por eso le pide a Sulema que le lleve como adelanto, un valiosísimo collar que Clemente le regaló el día que se casaron. En cambio cuando Isabela se presentó en la oficina de él tal como habían acordado para darle el archivo, todavía no lo tenía listo, pero sí le hizo un pequeño adelanto de información que de alguna manera Isabela le sacaría provecho. Para esto, en la última carrera en que ganó el caballo de Soriano, Karina le dice a Clemente que Víctor le faltó al respeto. Clemente se pone furioso y dice que nadie se burla de él y que las pagará muy caro. Clemente trata de convencer a Pascual de que mande a alguien a darle su merecido al doctor, pero Pascual se niega, lo cual molesta a Soriano. Para esto, César a casi unos días de casarse con Isabela, se enfurece a ver a su ex esposa acompañada por todas partes de Víctor, pero lo peor fue cuando pasó a recoger a Nacho y vio llegar a Víctor y sus hijas invitados a cenar por Julia. César intentó anteponer su autoridad para que Víctor se retirara, pero Julia lo puso en su lugar y César salió humillado, lo cual le hizo planear una venganza, porque también le debía lo de Isabela. La cena transcurrió de lo más bien y los niños disfrutaron el momento. Cuando Julia y Víctor se quedaron solos, la conversación giró en torno a Isabela y César, sin embargo, prefirieron cambiar el tema. Al día siguiente Pili comenta con su nana que Víctor y Julia ya son novios, pero Jimena la desmiente. Ese misma noche, César cumplió su promesa y Víctor fue víctima de golpes que lo dejaron muy mal herido, sin embargo, sacó fuerzas para llamar a Julia. Ella se encargó de llevarlo al hospital donde fue atendido inmediatamente y dejado en cuidados intensivos. Julia llama a Jorge para decirle lo sucedido y éste pensó que todo era cosa de Clemente. Susana le avisa a Isabela y va al hospital, pero se encuentra con Julia quien le dice que ella no tiene nada que hacer ahí. El doctor asume que Julia es la esposa de Víctor y sólo a ella y a los más allegados dejan que lo vean. Cuando Víctor sale de su gravedad, la policía toma su declaración para investigar el caso ya que todo aparenta ser un robo. Carolina va con Pascual al hospital y durante el trayecto pregunta por Pablo y le pide que le ayude, ya que no tiene a nadie más. Una vez en el hospital llega Pablo y Pascual les dice a él y a Carolina que tiene que hablar con ellos. Alguien los interrumpe y Pascual se retira, poco después cuando Pablo y Carolina se quedan solos no hayan de qué platicar, por eso Pablo se retira, pero antes Carolina con lágrimas en los ojos le pide que si aún piensa hacer algo, le avise para hacerlo juntos... Por otro lado, Diana le dice al arquitecto que ya no volverán a verse. Mariana considera a Diana su amiga y le dice que hay otra mujer en la vida de Octavio, pero que luchará por ese amor. Melchor por su parte busca a Julia en la oficina para decirle que perdió todo su dinero cuando se incendió su cuarto. Julia le da más porque sabe que puede serle muy útil para derrotar a Soriano.

Isabela offers Hurtado a good deal of money for information. Karina flirts with Rafael. (tramp!) Luz kisses Pablo. Octavio has a serious talk with Mariagna about their relationship. Diana says she'll never see Octavio again. Victor is released from the hospital. Carolina wants to visit Victor. Mariagna finds Octavio with his lover (Diana?) Socorro calls Diana and tells her they have to see each other and talk about something important. Mauricio finds Octavio in deplorable conditions in his office. Luz tells her mother she's Pablo's girlfriend. Rafael tells Clemente that he slept alone in the guest room. Isabela let's Cesar take care of the wedding preparations. Julia talks with Victor. Isabela meets with Hurtado. Pascual warns Clemente and tells him he'll tell Carolina the truth. Isabela meets with Clemente's associates and asks for someone's resignation. Isabela says good-bye to Victor. Julia has a proposition for Melchor. Octavio wants to declare war on the Sorianos. Clemente meets with Julia and Karina gets furious. Victor hopes that Isabela changes her mind about marrying Cesar. Victor asks Cesar not to marry Isabela. Octavio threatens Clemente with making some documents public. Ximena suggests that Victor marry Julia. Esparza tells Isabela that there was an incident between Cesar and Victor.

USA, 9/12/03 - In a restaurant, Mariagna asks Octavio why, after 10 years, he is breaking up with her. He tells her it is because he isn’t the man for her, the man she wants. He tells her he loved her, now loves another, assures her that it isn’t Lic. Montero. She becomes increasingly upset as he talks about “living”. She asks if that’s why he no longer wears a tie in the office, to feel younger.

Hurtado tells Isabel that Karina was fired from a job for fraud. Isabel says she needs absolute proof, gives him money.

Diana’s father asks Mauricio? when he is going to marry Diana. Then he insists on a domino game with them, César, his wife, the whole family.

Jorge? visits Victor in the hospital, tells him that Pascual came to visit. Then Julia comes in, tells Victor that he’ll be able to leave today. Octavio comes to the hospital, Julia tells him that Melchor visited her. Then Jorge and Julia run into Pablo. Octavio visits Octavio, is joined a bit later by Pablo, then Diana, Carolina and Isabel - all somewhat uncomfortable.

Octavio goes out of the room with Diana who tells him she meant it, they can’t see each otther again. He repeats that he doesn’t love Mariagna, has broken up with her. Octavio tells her that he will fight for her. She accepts a date.

Mariagna talks with Doña Socorro, tells her the woman isn’t Julia, doesn’t know who it is.

Pablo and Carolina go out into the hall, both feel strange, can’t help their feelings. Pablo tells her he can’t stand to see her.

Isabel, alone with Victor, says she came only to be certain he was ok, assure him that her fathe rhad nothing to do it. He tries to get her to admit she loves him. She kisses him briefly, leaves. She tells him it is over She tells him that she is Isabel Soriano and she is going to marry César. She tells him that he and she can’t be happy together. She asks him to ignore her the next time he sees her.

Mariagna asks Oscar who Octavio loves. He refuses to tell her.

Paz tells Pascual she’d rather her son hate her because of a lie, than be dead because of the truth.

Julia talks again with Clemente, asks him about Melchor, reminds him that he had said they were old friends, so he owes Melchor. Then she tells him she doesn’t like jealous scenes, like that in the ? with Victor. She tells him that a man like Victor can’t be so easily intimidated.

Karina talks with Isabel about her comment to the family about investigating a business in the provinces. Isabel tells Karina that she committed fraud. Karina tells her that nobody will believe her because she is just a bitter woman.

That night, in Octavio’s office, Mariagna walks in on Octavio kissing Diana on the sofa, creates a scene. Mariagna can’t believe Diana is the one.

La Opinión, 9/21/03 [Resumen de 9/15-19/03] Sólo Telenovelas Laura M. López Niña amada mía KMEX Canal 34, Los Angeles, lunes a viernes, 9:00 p.m. César era el más interesado en que la boda con Isabel se llevara a cabo, por eso le perdonaba a su futura esposa los desplantes cada vez que tocaba el tema, ya sea para decidir el menú que servirían o ponerse de acuerdo en los preparativos. Isabel reconocía que había hecho mal sólo para herir los sentimientos de Víctor, que se casaría con César, ya que ella no estaba enamorada de él, pero la decisión ya estaba tomada, además no podía contradecir a su padre... nunca lo había hecho. Carolina sabía por lo que su hermana estaba pasando, pues ella misma lo estaba viviendo en carne propia, pero su situación era un poco diferente... no tenía otra alternativa más que casarse con Rafael. Seguir amando a Pablo era un terrible pecado, porque según Clemente, Pablo y ella eran hermanos. Carolina a cada momento le echaba en cara a Rafael que su padre lo había comprado para ella. Rafael lo sabía, pero era lo de menos, ahora pertenecía a una de las familias más ricas del país y disfrutaba de todo lo bueno, y ahora apoyado por el mismo Soriano, compartiría a fuerza la misma habitación que Carolina y reclamaría sus derechos de esposo. Pero el hombre lo que no sabía era que Carolina era tan testaruda como su padre y estaba por verse si Rafael dormiría en el mismo cuarto. Pablo por su parte se supo ganar la confianza de Esparza quien lo entrenaba para ser uno de los mejores jinetes para competir en carreras de caballos. Víctor también lo apreciaba mucho, pero no sabía porqué Pablo odiaba tanto a Clemente. A propósito de Esparza, por fin se decidió pedirle matrimonio a Susana, pero llegó un poco tarde, ya que ella tenía todo listo para viajar a Estados Unidos y aprovechar la beca que le ofrecieron, lo que significaba cumplir el sueño de su vida. Mientras tanto, Víctor es dado de alta en el hospital y el regreso a casa lo hacía muy feliz. Julia estuvo con él todo el tiempo que tenía libre. Jimena y Nacho creyeron que sus papás ya eran novios, pero Julia le dice a Jimena que Víctor era el mejor de sus amigos. Cuando Víctor regresó al hípico, todavía llevaba el brazo vendado, pero eso no le impidió agarrarse a golpes con César quien le confirmó que fue él quien pagó a esos hombres para que le dieran esa paliza. Por otro lado, Diana le dice a su hermana Carolina que irá a casa de Octavio para ver de qué quiere hablarle doña Socorro. Para esto, ya Diana le había dicho a Octavio que todo estaba terminado entre ellos. Socorro le dice a Diana que Clemente Soriano es un asesino y un ladrón, porque todo lo que poseen los Soriano, Clemente se los quitó a la mala a su hijo Servando. Diana sabe por su padre todo lo contrario. El día que cualquier novia enamorada esperaría con ansias había llegado, pero en este caso para Isabel era el peor de su vida... la casa ya estaba llena de invitados, el juez listo y César acababa de llegar. Sin embargo, Isabela no paraba de llorar, pero terminó por salir de su habitación y fingir alegría. Afuera en tanto, Pablo discutía con Paz y Pascual. La sirvienta le avisa a Clemente y éste sale furioso y después de tantos reproches e insultos, sale Isabel para ver qué sucedía. Pablo le dice que no puede casarse porque Víctor viene a impedir la boda. Apenas acabó de decir esto, cuando Víctor la toma de la mano y la convence de irse con él. Ya para cuando César sale, la pareja de enamorados iba rumbo a la felicidad, mientras Jorge estaba convencido de que su amigo era un loco. Para esto, Isabel le había dicho a Clemente lo que sabía de Karina pero éste le dice que él ya también lo sabía para no quedar mal frente a su hija, pero tan pronto el hombre tuvo la oportunidad habla con su esposa, quien como siempre vuelve a mentir. Clemente también le dice que se le hace muy raro que Hurtado fuera encontrado muerto en su despacho, justo poco después que hablara con Isabela. Como Julia ya tenía en su poder el documento que podría perjudicar a Clemente, creyó que era el momento de aprovecharlo y citó a Soriano en su oficina, donde ya estaba Octavio. Uriarte le dice que lo incluya de nuevo en el proyecto o el documento se hará público.

Socorro calls Diana and tells her they have to see each other and talk about something important. Mauricio finds Octavio in deplorable conditions in his office. Luz tells her mother she's Pablo's girlfriend. Rafael tells Clemente that he slept alone in the guest room. Isabela let's Cesar take care of the wedding preparations. Julia talks with Victor. Isabela meets with Hurtado. Pascual warns Clemente and tells him he'll tell Carolina the truth. Isabela meets with Clemente's associates and asks for someone's resignation. Isabela says good-bye to Victor. Julia has a proposition for Melchor. Octavio wants to declare war on the Sorianos. Clemente meets with Julia and Karina gets furious. Victor hopes that Isabela changes her mind about marrying Cesar. Victor asks Cesar not to marry Isabela. Octavio threatens Clemente with making some documents public. Ximena suggests that Victor marry Julia. Esparza tells Isabela that there was an incident between Cesar and Victor.

Now here's the new stuff...

Victor arrives at Isabela's wedding and tries to convince her to leave with him. Victor and Isabela leave the Soriano mansion running. The judge and the guests at the wedding don't know what's going on. Clemente and Cesar are furious. Pablo ends up in jail for hitting Cesar and Clemente. (You go Pablo!!) Carolina goes to the station to bail Pablo out. Paz isn't able to see her son at the police station. Clemente reports the kidnapping of his daughter Isabela and demands it be kept quiet. (How the hell does he know she didn't go willingly?) Victor and Isabela arrive at a cabin and look really happy. Victor intends to tell Isabela the truth about his marriage. Esparza asks Julia for help to bail Pablo out, she accepts. Carolina faces Clemente and demands he get pablo out of jail or she'll tell everyone he's his son. Clemente doesn't know what to say. Casilda asks Pascual about what Clemente told Carolina and Pablo and she tells him she know understands a lot of things that go on between him and Paz. Julia goes to see Clemente, and asks him to do what he promised. Paz doesn't know what to do when she hears Pablo doesn't want to see her. Isabela thanks her for stopping the wedding. Pascual asks Pablo to see his mother but he refuses. Paz waits with worry and hears that someone calls her, it's Melchor and she doesn't know what to do. Pablo is set free and sees Paz with Melchor. She introduces them but he says he already knows him. Rafael proposes a business to Karina and asks for Clemente's support. Julia finds a job for Melchor at the hipico. The police arrest Esparza. Julia talks with Esperaza and he tells her they're accusing him of kidnapping.Karina acts happy with Rafael and imagines Clemente catching them. Isabela tells the police that there's been no kidnapping and that she left voluntarily. Clemente and Cesar can't stand the humiliation and the shame they've had to endure. Victor and Isabela arrive at Susana's house. Cesar goes to see Clemente and tells him he'll destroy Victor. Ochoa tells Arroyo that he's still investigating Hurtado's death because to him it's a murder case. An angry Ximena tells Victor that she would have stayed home, he asks her to help him since he's marrying Isabela.

KMEX Canal 34, Los Angeles, lunes a viernes, 9:00 p.m.

Mientras Isabela y Víctor disfrutaban de unos días de felicidad y de lo que sería una nueva vida juntos, César se moría del coraje porque quedó como un tonto ante los invitados al no poder hacer nada para impedir que le secuestraran a la novia.

Clemente por su parte jamás quedaría en ridículo ante nadie y menos que su propia hija fuera la causante de ello, por eso es que levantó una demanda de secuestro contra Víctor y Jorge.

Y mientras Jorge era detenido por las autoridades porque él manejó el auto para que la pareja escapara, él tuvo que declarar que no fue ningún secuestro y les dijo dónde podían encontrar a Isabela y Víctor.

Acompañados de la policía, llegaron Clemente y César seguros que lograrían su objetivo de llevarse a Isabela con ellos y que Víctor sería encarcelado. Sin embargo, no sucedió ni lo uno ni lo otro, ya que Isabela les dijo que estaba con él por su propia voluntad.

Al escuchar a su hija preferida contradecirlo, Clemente no podía creer lo que escuchaba, pero al confirmarlo Isabela una vez más cuando el comandante repitió la pregunta, no le quedó más remedio que aceptar su derrota.

César por su parte, sin medir sus palabras amenazó ante todo mundo a Víctor de matarlo, incluyendo la policía. Poco después Clemente le hizo ver que esa amenaza estaba de más, que al contrario, lo había perjudicado totalmente.

Si por cosas del destino a Víctor le llegara a ocurrir un accidente, el primer sospechoso sería César, lo cual lo puso de peor humor, incluso en contra de su propio hijo quien quería estar con él en ese momento tan difícil, pero César le dijo que no quería verlo.

Como no había delito que perseguir, Esparza fue dejado libre aunque ya la licenciada Moreno estaba lista para sacarlo de la cárcel. También Pablo fue arrestado por agredir físicamente a Soriano, pero él duró más días preso.

Sin embargo, Clemente tuvo que retirar la demanda presionado por su hija Carolina. Paz se pasó todo el día en la comandancia tratando de comunicarse con su hijo, pero Pablo no quiso recibirla.

En eso llegó la licenciada Moreno acompañada de Arrieta, quien inmediatamente reconoció a Paz. Platicaron un rato mientras la licenciada arreglaba la salida de Pablo, quien apareció en esos momentos.

Sin querer, Paz le dijo a Arrieta que Pablo era su hijo, pero que el muchacho no sabía nada. Paz se dio cuenta que Pablo y Arrieta se conocían, pero que se odiaban. Sin embargo, cuando Arrieta supo que era su hijo, quiso cambiar su actitud hacia el muchacho.

Pablo se alejó sin querer hablar con su madre y ella regresó a la casa más triste que nunca. Paz se refugió en Casilda y ambas terminaron llorando, incluso Paz le aclaró también que entre Pascual y ella sólo había una gran amistad, lo pasado quedó atrás.

Isabela por su parte va a tener que batallar mucho para ganarse el cariño y la confianza de Jimena, quien no está de acuerdo en lo que hizo su papá.

Por otro lado, mientras Octavio recapacitaba en lo que hizo Víctor, cayó en la conclusión que él tenía que hacer algo similar para no perder a Diana, y va a buscarla. Paz se sorprende ver a un Uriarte en casa de un Soriano y le ruega que no lo vuelva hacer por el bien de todos.

Ese mismo día Clemente fue a ver unos terrenos en compañía de su hija Diana y Rafael se ofreció a ir también. Si Clemente hubiera sabido lo que pasaría jamás hubiera salido de casa.

Carolina fue llevada de emergencia al hospital porque intentó suicidarse. La noche anterior Rafael la obligó a ser su mujer. Según el doctor, Carolina fue llevada demasiado tarde y había comenzado a entrar en coma.

Paz le dio a Clemente la carta que dejó Carolina y le decía que a pesar de todo lo quería y se llevaba un buen recuerdo de él. Paz de todos modos le dijo a Clemente en su propia cara que él era el único culpable.

Sin embargo, muy pronto las cosas iban a tomar un rumbo distinto, aunque la adicción al licor, no daría mucha credibilidad a las palabras de Arrieta.

Ok here's what we had left from last week...if I'm not mistaken we're about a day ahead now. (Friday episodes from mexico are on Thursdays) how that happened I don't know but anyway..here's what was left over...

Paz doesn't know what to do when she hears Pablo doesn't want to see her. Isabela thanks her for stopping the wedding. Pascual asks Pablo to see his mother but he refuses. Paz waits with worry and hears that someone calls her, it's Melchor and she doesn't know what to do. Pablo is set free and sees Paz with Melchor. She introduces them but he says he already knows him. Rafael proposes a business to Karina and asks for Clemente's support. Julia finds a job for Melchor at the hipico. The police arrest Esparza. Julia talks with Esperaza and he tells her they're accusing him of kidnapping.Karina acts happy with Rafael and imagines Clemente catching them. Isabela tells the police that there's been no kidnapping and that she left voluntarily. Clemente and Cesar can't stand the humiliation and the shame they've had to endure. Ximena throws a fit. (see above). Casilda and Paz talk about the past when they were young and both after Pascual. Karina proposes to Clemente that he get her involved in his business or support Rafael's business. Rafael enters Carolina's bedroom forcefully and rapes her. (Grrrrr!!) Victor and his daughters go to drop off Isabela at her apartment when Pili gets the idea of inviting her to lunch. Karina gets a coffee reading and death appears. Paz enteres Carolina's bedroom and sees her knocked out on the floor. Casilda finds an empty bottle of pills. Paz screams for someone to call an ambulance. Isabela tells Victor she'd like to still be at the front of her father's business. Gloria talks to Pablo about Luz. Clemente finds out about what happened to Carolina. Clemente reads a note that Carolina left him where she says she's sorry. Isabela sees Karina and Clemente at the hospital. Melchor tells Pablo that he has no relation to Clemente Soriano and everything they told him is a LIE. Melchor tells Pablo he met his father. Isabela asks Paz why Carolina tried to commit suicide. The police investigates Isabela in relation to Hurtado's murder. Pablo faces off with his mother. Clemente is surprised to see Pablo with Carolina. Pablo kisses Carolina's forehead. Pablo leaves the room and is interrogated by Pascual and Paz. He tells them not to worry Clemente can't do anything to him anymore. Isabela takes control of her father's businesses without his knowledge. Octavio finds out that Diana and Isabela planned everything. Melchor remembers 26 years back when his wife Gloria finds out about his infidelity with Paz. Carolina asks for Pablo's forgiveness and she tells him that Clemente swore to her that they were brother and sister. Clemente thinks Isabela has sunk him. Isabela asks Victor when they're getting married and he gets nervous. Karina tells Clemente to take Isabela out of all his businesses. Pablo tells Luz that they should break up because he now knows Carolina isn't his sister.

All right looks like we're in for an eventful week and a rape...

Sorry for the delay but I have a big exam tomorrow at 8am sooo I kind of had to get the studying out of the way.

9/26/03 - Melchor asks pablo to forgive him, accept his friendship, tells him that he isn’t Clemente’s son, swears that he isn’t, because he knew Pablo’s real father, when he was rich. Pablo doesn’t believe him. Melchor tells him that his father died far away, far away from his mother. Melchor tells Pablo that Pascual knows the truth.

In the hospital, Paz and Isabela talk about Carolina, the change in her since the break with Pablo. Isabela tells Paz that her father won’t look at her, let alone talk to her.

Clemente sits by Carolina’s hospital bed. Later, in the cafeteria, Isabel tries to talk with him. Clemente tells her not to say anything about him, Karina, anybody to the police. He will take care of it. He refuses to look at her, says she was his masterpiece, now she shames him. She leaves him alone.

Diana asks Rafael why Carolina tried to kill herself. He swears he knows nothing.

Victor goes to Octavio’s office.

Pablo talks with Pascual. He tells him to talk with his mother.

Paz tells Casilda she didn’t read the letter Carolina wrote. Casilda is sure she did it because of the lie about her and Pablo. Pablo enters, asks his mother how she could be so cruel, tell such a lie. Pablo tells her that Melchor told him, said his father loved her a lot. Paz tells him it was Clemente’s idea, she couldn’t say anything because Clemente threatened to kill him. Pablo apologizes to her, says he has to tell Carolina, learns she is in the hospital.

Pascual talks on the phone with Casilda who tells him about Carolina.

Isabel talks with Diana, says she is still on her father’s side, they must continue as planned. Victor arrives, learns about Carolina.

Pascual goes to the hospital, tells Clemente that Carolina is dying because of a lie, that Pablo now knows the truth. Pascual asks him if he will kill Pablo now, how does he feel about his decision, recalls his words that “muchachos olviden con rapidez”.

In the hospital, Pablo and Rafael have a small fight. Pablo goes into Carolina’s room.

Cesar visits Julia, gives her a check. She apologizes for what she said the last time they talked. But, she says, his son needs him. César goes to Nacho’s bedroom, talks with him, apologizes.

Octavio and his mother argue about Diana again. Mariagna joins them.

Clemente finds Pablo in Carolina’s room. They argue about who has the right to be there. Pablo asks him if he will kill him next? Pablo talks to Carolina, tells her he doesn’t want her to leave him alone. The doctor enters, says he can’t give any prognosis: could be days, weeks, months, or more. The she moves a finger.

USA, 9/29/03-10/3/03 WEEK 13:

La Opinión, 10/5/03 [resumen de 9/29/03-10/3/03] Sólo TV Laura M. López 05 de octubre de 2003 Niña amada mía KMEX Canal 34, Los Angeles, lunes a viernes, 9:00 p.m. La vida de Carolina corría peligro y todos estaban resignados a que la perderían para siempre. Sin embargo, la presencia de Pablo y escuchar la voz del hombre amado, hizo el milagro... Carolina salió del estado de coma y dio señales de vida. Clemente se encontraba también en la habitación y pudo darse cuenta que en efecto, que Pablo tuvo mucho que ver en la salvación de Carolina, aún así no quiso aceptarlo ante nadie. Lo primero que vio al abrir los ojos, fue la cara de Pablo muy cerca de ella diciéndole cosas de amor puesto que no era necesario callarlo más. Carolina lo escuchó sin creerlo... que ellos no eran hermanos, que todo había sido una vil mentira de Clemente. Melchor se encargó de revelar el secreto por tantos años guardado, que cuando Pablo preguntó a Paz y a Pascual, ellos lo confirmaron... que Clemente no era su padre. Pero Arrieta no se atrevió a decirle que sí era hijo suyo. Pablo con mayor razón siguió odiando a Clemente, pero Carolina le dice que ya todo ese odio debe quedar atrás y espera que cuando ella salga del hospital, Pablo vaya a la casa a visitarla. Para esto, Clemente se encontraría con Karina en la oficina del ginecólogo, a quien bajo amenazas de chantaje, presionó para que confirmara un aborto inevitable. Clemente encontró a su esposa bañada en llanto por haber supuestamente perdido a su hijo. Soriano se conmovió al ver a Karina en ese estado, sin imaginar que todo era mentira. Cuando llegaron a casa, ella todavía seguía llorando por lo que Clemente pide a Paz la acompañe a su habitación, mientras él iba a su despacho. Karina no quiso que Paz estuviera con ella y subió las escaleras como si nada, por lo que Paz comenta con Casilda que duda mucho que hubiera estado embarazada, ya que además, nunca mostró los síntomas. Mientras tanto, ese día Octavio se incorporaría de nuevo al proyecto como única condición para no hacer público el documento que dejaría muy mal parado a Clemente Soriano. Sin embargo, mientras Octavio se encontraba con Diana en la sala de espera y le proponía matrimonio, dentro de la junta Isabela fue la única que se opuso rotundamente a la re-incorporación de Uriarte. Isabela creyó que estaba haciendo la correcto y no obedeció en esta ocasión las órdenes de su padre de aceptar a Uriarte en el proyecto. Por eso cuando salió de la junta con un aire triunfante, Octavio creyó que Clemente se había burlado una vez más de él. Octavio se puso en contacto inmediatamente con la licenciada Moreno, quien no se explicaba por qué Soriano había cambiado de opinión. Julia le dice a Octavio que hablará con Clemente. Ya para entonces, Clemente estaba a punto de acostarse cuando recibió la llamada y Karina se pone furiosa. El hombre le pide tiempo para investigar que fue lo que sucedió puesto que sus órdenes fueron muy claras para Isabela. Por otro lado, Melchor va a la fonda de Gloria y le pide perdón. Y aunque ella no le permitía conocer a su hija, la muchacha entra al lugar. Melchor ya la había visto antes, pero jamás se lo imaginó. El sólo se limitó a decir que era muy bonita. Sin embargo, las cosas tomarían un rumbo diferente para todos... como Jimena no quería a Isabela, decide escaparse y Nacho también se va con ella. Julia se concentra en este asunto y se olvida de todo lo demás, incluyendo el asunto de Octavio. Al llegar la noche, los niños comienzan a sentir que han cometido un error, pero Jimena tiene miedo de regresar a casa. Entonces Nacho sugiere llamar a César, quien entre molesto y enojado acepta ir a recogerlos. El plan de César era vengarse de Víctor, pero las cosas no le salieron como él quería... y fue Clemente quien quedó como héroe ante Julia al llevar a Nacho con ella. Víctor habló muy seriamente con Jimena y después le explica a Isabela lo sucedido. Mientras Julia acepta cenar con Clemente y en agradecimiento por lo que hizo le dice que nunca será su enemiga y si tiene que renunciar a seguir representando a Octavio, lo hará. Ya para esto, Mauricio había descubierto que el hombre a quien consideraba como un padre, fue quien le robó el amor de Diana. Ella después le dice a su hermana Isabela que espera un hijo de Octavio.

Pablo leaves the room and is interrogated by Pascual and Paz. He tells them not to worry Clemente can't do anything to him anymore. Isabela takes control of her father's businesses without his knowledge. Octavio finds out that Diana and Isabela planned everything. Melchor remembers 26 years back when his wife Gloria finds out about his infidelity with Paz. Carolina asks for Pablo's forgiveness and she tells him that Clemente swore to her that they were brother and sister. Clemente thinks Isabela has sunk him. Isabela asks Victor when they're getting married and he gets nervous. Karina tells Clemente to take Isabela out of all his businesses. Pablo tells Luz that they should break up because he now knows Carolina isn't his sister. Carolina tells Clemente that she knows he lied and that she isn't Pablo's sister. He cries knowing that Carolina will never forgive him. Nacho decides to run away with Jimena now that she can't accept that her father and Isabela have a relationship. The principal at the school informs Cesar, Victor, and Julia about Nacho and Ximena running away. The Doctor informs Clemente that Karina suffered a hemorrage. Cesar tells Victor to meet him somewhere because he knows something about Ximena, turns out it's all a trap.

Sorry I put them all together but I had little to go on this week.

USA, 10/3/03 - Mariagna asks Octavio if he is going to marry Diana. Octavio says “no”, it was a foolishness.

Diana confesses to Isabel that she is pregnant by Octavio, doesn’t know what to do, her relationship with Octavio is over. Isabela tells Diana that Octavio has a right to know.

Juliana talks with Clemente who tells her that Victor was using her to make Isabela jealous. She disagrees. He asks her why she is alone; she tells him she isn’t alone, she has her house, her child, her career. He tells her that for a woman there is only one thing: a man. She thanks him for everything.

El Teniente Ochoa visits Karina who is talking to Zulema. He has more questions about Hurtado. Karina is very slick in her answers.

Clemente calls César, tells him that all went as planned. César says he knew it would. Nacho is her life. César calls Nacho to arrange a visit, tells him not to tell his mother. César tells Nacho to keep their secret, says that his friendship with Ximena isn’t good.

The doctor tells Carolina that she can leave.

Clemente goes to Ochoa’s office, talks with his assistant about the problem of Hurtado’s death, says he doesn’t want Ochoa to upset his family any more. The assistant says that the case has been closed, assures him there will be no more questions.

Jorge tells Victor that Pili could accept Isabela because she was young when her mother left, but Ximena won’t. And he tells Victor that Isabela won’t forgive him when she learns he is still married.

Mariagna talks with Socorro, is happy about her progress with Octavio.

When Clemente gets home, Karina complains about the visit of Hurtado, especially after she just lost their child. He tells her that the case is over, it was a simple suicide. Clemente tells her that she will be his representative to the tourist project because he is sure she would never betray him.

Isabela visits Carolina in the hospital, tells her about Diana’s pregnancy. Carolina assures Isabela that their father is good, will forgive her.

Oscar talks with Octavio about Diana and the tourist project.

Victor confronts César at the stables, tells him that what he did was a crime. .

A drunk Mauricio recalls hearing Diana tells Octavio of her feelings.

Luz’s mother slaps Pablo for hurting her daughter. He says he is sorry, didn’t mean to hurt her.

Luz tells Horacio that her boyfriend left her for his ex-novia.

Victor reprimands his daughter for what she did. He proposes, as punishment, that she not see Nacho for a while.

Clemente tells his secretary that Isabela is out of his businesses and his life. Isabela seeks work.

Pablo tells Melchor he has to stop drinking.

Julia meets with Octavio, asks him not to publish the document, to trust Clemente. Julia says she believes Clemente; he said that his orders were disobeyed by Diana and Isabela.

Carolina tells her father she never again wants to see Rafael again, wants to get a divorce at once. Both Rafael and Clemente just tell her to calm down. Clemente tells her they can wait until she is better.

Alone with Clemente, Rafael says he doesn’t know what to do, has been loving, supportive, always by her side. Clemente tells him not to worry.

When Isabela visits Victor, Ximena is rude, leaves the room. Isabela asks how old Ximena was when he separated. Victor tells her that Ximena was 8, Pilar was 3. Isabela says that explains it. He tells her there is something she must know about the separation. He didn’t want it. She was a reporter who got a grant, went to the U.S. Jorge arrives with bad news and interrupts them.

Octavio tries to stop Mauricio from resigning, says he is like a son to him. Mauricio tells him that he stole the woman he loved, took advantage of the situation. He asks Mauricio if he can imagine what it was like for him to fall in love with the daughter of his worst enemy, wasn’t something he wanted.

Clemente hears Diana tells Carolina that she is going to have a child

USA, 10/6-10/03 WEEK 14:

La Opinión, 10/12/03 [resumen de 10/6-10/03] Sólo telenovelas Laura M. López 12 de octubre de 2003 NIÑA AMADA MIA KMEX, Canal 34, Los Angeles, lunes a viernes, 9:00 p.m. Víctor le hizo ver a su hija Jimena que Isabela es la mujer que ama en estos momentos y quiere casarse con ella en cuanto le sea posible. Sin embargo, la niña aún no cambia su actitud hacia Isabel. En cambio, Pili es todo lo contrario, ella adora a Isabela y trata de que su hermana también la acepte como la nueva esposa de su papá. Lo que sucede es que Pili apenas se acuerda de su mamá, ya que ella era muy niña cuando Consuelo las abandonó. Por eso fue que Jimena se escapó para ir a buscarla, porque no estaba de acuerdo con la decisión que había tomado su papá. Víctor la volvió a castigar con no ver a Nacho por un tiempo y el muchacho también recibió su propio castigo de parte de Julia. Nacho y Jimena hubieran querido que Víctor y Julia se casaran y aunque ésta se sentía atraída por Víctor, sabía que él amaba a Isabela, por eso no se ilusionó, pero sí le dijo que podían ser grandes amigos. Isabela intentaba por todos los medios ganarse el cariño de Jimena, pero no lo lograba, y menos ahora. Cuando nadie lo esperaba, Consuelo regresa buscando a sus hijas. La mujer escogió el día más apropiado para ella... el cumpleaños de Pili. Todo mundo gozaba de la fiesta que Isabela le organizó cuando, de pronto, Jimena corre a abrazar a su mamá. Ya para esto, Consuelo daba señales de regresar cuando, horas antes, Pili recibe un regalo de “su hada madrina”. Isabela sospechó de quién se trataba y aunque Víctor también lo pensó por un momento, trató de rechazar la idea. Consuelo intenta actuar como si no hubiera pasado nada y le dice a Pili que es hora de que parta el pastel y quiere ayudarle, pero la niña la ignora y toma de la mano a Isabela para que lo hagan juntas. Víctor, en cuanto puede, habla con ella, pero aparentemente no es el momento de aclarar las cosas. Isabela está celosa, pero él le dice que no se preocupe, que va a aclarar la situación con su ex mujer. Sin embargo no termina ahí el asunto, al día siguiente, cuando Isabela llega al departamento de Víctor, se encuentra con Consuelo cocinando. Isabela se sorprende de verla ahí y creyó que ella tenía llave. Consuelo le dice que Trini le abrió, ya que ellas siempre fueron amigas. En eso llega Trini y no haya cómo excusarse, aunque saluda a Isabela como siempre. Pero cuando entró Víctor acompañado de las niñas las cosas cambiaron. Por otro lado, Pablo aprovechó que Clemente no estaba en casa para visitar a Carolina, quien al verlo corrió a sus brazos para besarlo y decirle cuánto lo extrañaba. Paz se puso muy nerviosa al verlo ahí, porque tenía miedo que llegara Clemente y cumpliera su amenaza. Después, Clemente hace llamar a Mauricio para poner fecha de matrimonio, asumiendo que el hijo que espera Diana es de él. También hace llamar a su hija para decirle que preparen todo antes de que se note su embarazo. Diana y Mauricio salen a cenar, pero sólo ella acepta, porque debe aclararle que de ninguna manera se casará con él. Mauricio le dice que a pesar de todo la sigue queriendo y de que ese hijo que espera sea de otro hombre. En tanto, Octavio, al ver que Diana se había convertido también en su enemiga, regresa al lado de Mariagna y le pide que se casen, ignorando que Diana estaba dispuesta a regresar a su lado, en contra de su propio padre. Sin embargo, Clemente no tardaría en descubrir quién era el verdadero padre del hijo de Diana. Escucha cuando Carolina le dice a su hermana que debería decirle a Octavio que está embarazada. Esta noticia lo dejó sin habla y se refugió en su despacho, como siempre lo hacía cuando tenía problemas graves... Pascual lo conocía muy bien y decidió ver qué pasaba. Clemente habló en voz muy baja y lentamente le dijo que Diana esperaba un hijo de su peor enemigo... Octavio Uriarte.

Ximena tells Pili that Consuelo (Cecilia Gabriela) is her mother, Pili looks at her not believeing what she sees and saying she doesn't remember her. Pablo vows to seek revenge from Rafael for what he did to Carolina. Carolina recuperates and tells Pablo she doesn't want anymore violence. Octavio asks Mariagna to marry him and that they leave the country. Karina fires Paz and Clemente defends her and tells her to go to bed much to Karina's dismay. (buahaha!) Pascual tells Paz that they have to see what Clemente will do next. Julia visits Clemente to ask when Octavio will be incoporated into the project, Clemente gets angry and asks for her help since she owes him a favor. Clemente asks Julia to destroy the document that implicates him. Clemente asks Mauricio to steal the document from Octavio's office. Mauricio agrees to do it. Clemente gives Karina instructions on what she should do and say at the meeting when the suggestion of incorporating Octavio to the proyect comes up. Isabela tells Diana all she knows about Karina and tells her that now she can beat her. Consuelo asks Victor for another chance and they talk about the past. Consuelo tells Isabela she hasn't divorced Victor. She tells Victor that she's determined to save their marriage and that she's not willing to divorce him. Clemente goes to see Julia and Mauricio tells him he has the document. He snatches it from Mauricio's hands and lights it on fire with Julia being impotent and not able to do a thing. He then says goodbye to her sarcastically and leaves. Diana and Octavio see each other at the airport. They argue and he won't let her get in the car. Pascual tells him to let her go but he doesn't so Pascual hits him. Socorro tells Mariagna that she should get pregnant and she gets excited. Octavio tells Alvarado about Diana's pregnancy, and Alvarado tells him that Mariagna will be destroyed once she hears that.

If I'm nos mistaken we have 8 weeks to go. So I'm expecting the ULTIMAS SEMANAS on 10/23 at the latest.

10/10/03 - Diana asks her father to forgive her, never meant to hurt him. He looks at a picture of her when she was a child. He tells her of his dreams for her then. He tells her he won’t accept her bastard in his house. He won’t accept her in his house and she won’t inherit if she doesn’t comply.

Victor and Isabela argue about her attitude. He asks her to be patient. She says that she hasn’t any.

Diana talks with Carolina, tells her she doesn’t want to lose her child. Diana packs.

Karina finds Paz with Clemente, tells him that she goes or ? Clemente stops her, says that Paz is his employee. Both of them will stay. He reminds Karina of all she has: money, jewels, a position in his businesses, what more could she want? After Paz leaves the room, Clemente essentially tells her to accept or they can simply divorce and she will lose everything.

Diana leaves the house.

Consuelo and Victor talk. She asks if he hates her; he tells her no longer. But when she talks about the future, he tells her it is late to talk of impossibilities. But she is determined to get him back.

Diana leaves the house, goes to Isabella.

At the breakfast table are only Carolina, her husband, Clemente and Karina. Clemente orders Casilda to get Pascual and Paz, has them join the family - to the disgust of Karina.

Isabella suggests to Diana that they form their own business. Isabella tells her it won’t be easy for Victor to get a divorce.

Clemente tells Julia that Octavio will never get back the project. She can’t believe that he is breaking his word, threatens to publicize the document. He reminds her that she owes him a favor, tells her to destroy the document. He tells her that he is going to destroy Octavio and she must hellp him. Julia looks perplexed. Then she refuses, says that Octavio has the document...and he is on his honeymoon with Mariagna. Clemente assumes that Octavio got Diana pregnant on purpose.

In Las Vegas, Octavio and Mariagna enjoy their honeymoon.

Carolina tells Isabella and Diana that Karina is Clemente’s representative. Pablo asks Carolina if she has talked with her father about the divorce. She says not yet, things are too tense, she wants to wait a while.

Consuelo looks for work and interviews with Rafael.

The detective asks Isabella what she knows about a necklace that Karina gave Hurtado before his death, as payment. He asks if that was her father’s usual form of payment. Isabella admits that she hired Hurtado to investigate Karina, HE was killed the day he was to give her proof. She admits it seemed suspicious, but her father is blind with respect to Karina.

Julia assures Socorro that Clemente can’t do anything against her and her family as long as that document exists. Clemente and Pascual visit Mauricio who is leaving for Monterrey, Mauricio agrees with Clemente that Octavio is th emos despicable man they have ever known. Clemente rubs in the depth of what Octavio did to him, suggests that the two, united, could get back at Octavio. Mauricio asks what kind of vengeance. Clemente tells him that he has a plan, is he willing to help him? Mauricio tells him yes.

USA, 10/13-17/03 WEEK 15:

La Opinión, 10/19/03 [resumen de 10/13-17/03] Sólo telenovelas Laura M. López 19 de octubre de 2003 NIÑA AMADA MIA KMEX, Canal 34, Los Angeles, lunes a viernes, 9:00 p.m. El encuentro entre Víctor y Consuelo a cada momento no puede ser inevitable, ya que ella vive en el mismo edificio, según ella, para estar cerca de sus hijas. Sin embargo, el verdadero motivo es otro. Consuelo regresó a México con el propósito de volver con su ex marido, pero ya era demasiado tarde. En primer lugar, Víctor no le perdonaría jamás haber abandonado a sus hijas. Además, él estaba a punto de rehacer su vida al lado de Isabela, a quien adoraba. Sin embargo, Consuelo tenía en su hija Jimena una aliada, ya que la niña no quería que su papá se casara con ella. Jimena quería mucho a su mamá a pesar de saber que la abandonó y en esos tres años no se preocupó por buscarla. Isabela estaba consciente de eso, por lo cual debería tener mucha paciencia y encontrar la forma para ganarse el cariño de la niña. Con Pili no tenía ningún problema, pero también estaba Trini, que era amiga de Consuelo y era casi seguro que le decía a ésta lo que sucedía en casa de Víctor. Para esto, justo el mismo día en que Octavio regresaba de su luna de miel, Diana estaba a punto de viajar a Estados Unidos. El se enteró cuando Mauricio le reclamó haberle quitado a la mujer de su vida sólo para embarazarla y después casarse con otra. Octavio se sorprende al escucharlo y le dice que él no sabía que Diana esperaba un hijo suyo, porque de lo contrario, nunca se hubiera casado con Mariagna. Pero antes de esto, Octavio había ido a buscar a Mauricio y exigirle le dijera porqué entregó el documento a Clemente, único papel que podría usar en contra de su peor enemigo en caso de que no lo restituyera en el proyecto. Sin embargo esto pasó a segundo plano, ya que por el momento le interesaba alcanzar a Diana antes de que se fuera para escuchar de ella misma que esperaba un hijo, algo que él tanto había deseado y más si la madre era la mujer que más amaba. Aun así, Diana no cambió sus planes de irse a vivir con Susana a Los Angeles, aunque en el fondo hubiera deseado quedarse al lado de Octavio. Susana se pone muy contenta de verla, pero en su lugar, ella hubiera hecho lo que hizo Isabela... escaparse con el hombre de su vida. Por otro lado, en esas cosas de la vida, Consuelo consigue empleo justamente en la casa productora, el negocio que Rafael y Karina acaban de iniciar. Como siempre, Clemente tenía una bella mujer enfrente y no se medía en sus galanterías y Consuelo no era la excepción. Karina se dio cuenta de las intenciones de su marido y manda llamar a Consuelo para dejarle claro que además de ser uno de los dueños, también era un hombre casado. Consuelo reconoce entre líneas lo que Karina quiere decirle en realidad y eso la tiene sin cuidado, ya que Clemente no es su tipo de hombre. Pablo por su parte, recibe la oportunidad de su vida en el hípico. Después de su demostración como jinete, varios empresarios se disputan su exclusividad. Carolina y Paz están felices por el éxito y de Melchor ni se diga, porque él conoce muy bien el negocio de los caballos y lo que Pablo acaba de hacer, no lo hace cualquiera. Clemente se retira muy molesto por el triunfo de Pablo.

Casilda very sick..asks to speak with Pascual and Paz. Victor tells Isabela that Octavio is selling two of his best horses and Isabela tells him she's willing to buy them. Rafael and Karina toast to their success at their office. They're both drunk and kiss. Paz surprises them. At the funeral home...Clemente sees Rafael arrive with Karina and notices them acting strange. Paz and Karina argue in the cafeteria and Paz slaps Karina. Karina asks Clemente to fire Paz. Pascual finds out about the relationship between Karina and Rafael.

La Opinión, 10/26/03 [resumen de 10/20-24/03]: Sólo telenovelas Laura M. López Domingo, 26 de octubre de 2003 NINA AMADA MIA KMEX, Canal 34, Los Angeles, lunes a viernes, 9:00 p.m. Pablo no podía creer que varios dueños de hípicos se disputaban por tenerlo entre sus jinetes, después de verlo montar el día de la exhibición. Esparza le dice que no es un sueño y que desde ese día en adelante las cosas van a cambiar. En efecto, la vida de Pablo dio un giro total. Casilda, quien quiere al muchacho como un hijo, llega al hípico para felicitarlo y terminó diciéndole que Melchor era su verdadero padre. Pablo quiso saber más, pero ella le dice que eso le corresponde a Paz y se despide del muchacho. Poco después Paz piensa que su hijo va reclamarle pero no, Pablo es de un corazón muy noble y perdona a su madre por ocultarle el nombre de su padre. Sin embargo Paz prefiere que sea Melchor quien le diga por qué lo odia tanto. Arrieta, como siempre, andaba tomado, pero no tanto como para no contestar la pregunta de Pablo... Paz lo odiaba porque abusó de ella y fue cuando quedó embarazada. El joven desquitó su coraje, pero terminó abrazándolo y también lo perdonó, pero le hizo prometer que dejara de tomar. Melchor trató de cumplir su promesa, pero no pudo y así fue una víctima fácil para unos vagos que lo golpearon hasta dejarlo sin sentido. Una vez en el hospital, el doctor le dice a Pablo que los golpes no fueron tan graves, pero sí lo suficiente para dejarlo mal herido. Además, como andaba tan tomado, tiene que esperar a que despierte y ver cómo reacciona. Por otro lado, después que doña Socorro se enteró que Diana esperaba un hijo de Octavio, decide visitar a Isabela para que le proporcione la dirección de su hermana. Al principio Isabela se sintió muy incómoda con la presencia de la mujer, pero después cambió la opinión que tenía de ella. Dicen que Clemente mató a Servando Soriano para quedarse con sus tierras, entre ellos La Noria, la cual se refería en el documento que Mauricio robó a Octavio para regresarlo a Clemente como venganza por haberle quitado a Diana. Y mientras Diana comenzó a trabajar tan pronto llegó a Los Angeles en un despacho. Tenía como jefe a un hombre quien cambió totalmente su comportamiento hacia ella, desde que la secretaria de Uriarte proporcionó malas referencias. En cambio en la productora, Karina ofrece su amistad y apoyo a Consuelo sólo para vengarse de Isabela. Consuelo lo sabía, pero era como un intercambio porque ella necesitaba de su dinero para contratar un abogado que le ayudara a evitar su divorcio con Víctor. Ese mañana, antes de que Casilda falleciera, Paz descubre a Karina y Rafael en una escena bastante comprometedora, lo que hace que la joven señora de Soriano le pida a su marido que la corra con el pretexto de que no la soporta. Clemente ni siquiera la escuchó, porque cuando alguien trata de expresarse mal de Paz o de Pascual, no lo permite, ni siquiera a Karina. Y ese momento no era el apropiado para que se discutiera el asunto. A todos en la casa les afectó la muerte de Casilda, quien a pesar de ser parte de la servidumbre, la consideraban como de la familia por haber trabajado con ellos tantos años. Además, había sido la esposa de Pascual y éste era el mejor amigo de Clemente. Casilda también les hace prometer a Paz y a Pascual que van a estar juntos siempre porque ella sabía cuánto se querían. A la hora de la cena, Carolina responde a la pregunta de su padre que venía de ver a Pablo. Rafael se hace el esposo ofendido y Clemente le llama la atención a su hija por faltarle a su marido, a lo que Carolina dice que él la hizo su mujer a la fuerza.

Socorro once again visits Isabela and tells her that she couldn't have been born 28 years ago because at that time her mother was with Servando. Victor tells Ximena he's not getting back together with Consuelo. Karina tells Clemente that Paz is recieving calls from Socorro Uriarte and he feels betrayed. Paz goes to see Socorro and tells her not to see Isabela anymore. (Clemente ordered her to do this) Clemente prepares a big celebration to celebrate Impacto's triumph. Cesar feels bad about his defeat. Paz and Pascual toast to Pablo's triumph. Diana shows up at work. Victor asks Julia if Consuelo has responded to the divorce papers and she says no. Isabela asks Victor to be by her side since he's the only thing she has that's real and tells him all that's happened. Consuelo meets Lic. Landeta who tells her they'll say she took classes in the U.S. and her husband didn't want to go with her. Clemente doesn't know what to do for the first time his pride is hurt. (Downfall!) Mariagna comes out of the operation and faces her disease alone. Melchor has problems at the Hipico because of his alcoholism. Consuelo moves into Victor's house. Diana sees Octavio.

Clemente didn't believe Carolina about the rape, but did speak with Rafael after and told him he had better respect his daughter and never ever hurt her, then he smacked him in the mouth. Soccoro came and visited Isabella again, and found she was 28 yrs old, and told her that if she was 28 then there was no way that Clemente could be her father, due to the fact that Servando was still with Isabella's mom. Then Soccoro spoke with PAZ and tried to confirm that ISABELLA was her neita, but PAZ wouldn't admit it (the look on her face said it all though) They r getting ready for the next horse competition and Esparza hurt his hand when he tried to help Melchor out of bed at the hospital, so it appears as if PABLO will be competing in his place.. LoOKS TO AN INTERESTING WEEK AHEAD ENJOY

La Opinión, 11/2/03 [resumen de 10/27-31/03] Sólo telenovelas Laura M. López 02 de noviembre de 2003 NiÑA AMADA MIA KMEX, Canal 34, Los Angeles, lunes a viernes, 9:00 p.m. Doña Socorro tenía mucha razón cuando dijo a Isabela que tenía los ojos de Servando. Melchor se lo confirma cuando le dice que la madre de Isabela mostraba un embarazo avanzado meses después que murió Servando. Melchor había asistido a casa de los Uriarte a celebrar el triunfo de Pablo cuando doña Socorro lo encontró con la foto del difunto Servando. El le dice que era su mejor amigo, casi su hermano. Fue en ese momento cuando la señora se enteró de la verdad. El sueño de doña Socorro se había hecho realidad y ahora tenía la nieta que tanto había anhelado e inmediatamente se lo contó a Octavio después de decírselo a Isabela. A la muchacha le tomó por sorpresa esa revelación... toda su vida fue enseñada a odiar a los Uriarte y ahora resulta que era una de ellos. Sin embargo tenía que hablar con Clemente para estar completamente segura. Clemente siempre estuvo muy orgulloso de su “obra maestra”, como llamaba a Isabela, y ahora al verla ahí frente a él reclamándole por haberla engañado toda su vida, a pesar de no llevar en la sangre lo Soriano, se portaba como tal. Interiormente Clemente seguía considerándola su hija, pero no quería reconocerlo ante ella ni ante nadie, tenía que mantenerse firme en su pose que Isabela ya no era nadie para él y mucho menos quería verla en su casa. Como siempre que sucede algo que le lastima en lo más profundo, se encierra en su despacho sin permitir que nadie sea testigo de su dolor, ni siquiera su esposa Karina. Por otro lado, Octavio viaja a Los Angeles para buscar a Diana. La joven arquitecta jamás imaginó que volvería a verlo. Después de mucho hablar, finalmente Diana le dice que todo entre ellos terminó y le pide la deje en paz. Sin embargo Octavio no se da por vencido y al día siguiente va a buscarla al edificio donde trabaja, pero igual, ella ya no quiere saber nada de él. Entonces el jefe de ella se ofrece a llevarla a su casa para evitar que Octavio siga molestándola. Al llegar a departamento de Diana, ella se acerca para darle un beso de despedida en la mejilla, pero él la besa en la boca. Trini le dice la misma cosa a Consuelo, que con esta situación Pili y Jimena apenas si se dirigen la palabra. Pablo se molesta con Carolina por estar trabajando en la productora al lado de Rafael. Ella le dice que es la única manera de reunir el dinero para pagar su divorcio. Luz en tanto, busca empleo en el hípico para estar al lado de Pablo. Cuando Mariagna regresó de su viaje, se encontró con la noticia de que Isabela es nieta de doña Socorro y que Octavio salió de la ciudad, aunque piensa que él iba a reunirse con ella. Sin embargo al paso de los días, Mariana comienza a sospechar que su marido fue a buscar a Diana.

Clemente prepares a big celebration to celebrate Impacto's triumph. Cesar feels bad about his defeat. Paz and Pascual toast to Pablo's triumph. Diana shows up at work. Victor asks Julia if Consuelo has responded to the divorce papers and she says no. Isabela asks Victor to be by her side since he's the only thing she has that's real and tells him all that's happened. Consuelo meets Lic. Landeta who tells her they'll say she took classes in the U.S. and her husband didn't want to go with her. Clemente doesn't know what to do for the first time his pride is hurt. (Downfall!) Mariagna comes out of the operation and faces her disease alone. Melchor has problems at the Hipico because of his alcoholism. Consuelo moves into Victor's house. Diana sees Octavio. The Doctor releases Mariagna from the Hospital and tells her she will be able to conceive now. Luz goes looking for a job and they accept her. Isabela and Karina face off again.

USA, 10/31/03 - Octavio visits Diana, reproaches her for not telling him about the child. She says it is her concern alone. Her boss, Edgar, takes her home, kisses her goodnight. He tells her that he likes her a lot.

Julia asks Victor if it is true that he agreed to his wife Consuelo’s going to the U.S. He admits that he did, but only for one year, not for 3.

Jorge agrees to work as a trainer in the riding school that Isabel is starting.

Consuelo tells her lawyer, who is planning bleeding Victor dry, that she doesn’t want a divorce.

Victor tells Isabel that it will be harder to get the divorce than he had thought.

Consuelo, made aware by one of her daughters, that her presence is making matters worse, moves out. But she asks for, and gets, liberal visitation rights.

Jorge offers a job to Luz who gets permission from her parents to take riding classes - from Pablo...which, of course, makes Carolina jealous.

Diana receives a huge bouquet - from Edgar.

octavio visits Isabel who, finally, admits that Diana still loves him. She tells him, however, to leave Diana alone.

Julia tells Jorge that he is a good friend, but that is all. Jorge accepts her turndown with grace.

Diana tells Edgar she is not ready yet for a relationship. Right now, her primary concern is her pregnancy. He asks her to give him a chance, assures her that he isn’t interested in just sex, in having an adventure. He wants to have a family.

Consuelo tells the lawyer Landeta that she left because her daughter asked her to leave.

Isabel and Octavio make a deal: she will fund the riding school and he will provide the horses.

In Los Angeles, Edgar proposes to a very pregnant Diana.

Victor asks Julia how the divorce is going. Julia tells him that Landeta is very wily.

Melchor is still attending AA meetings, but is making progress.

Pablo again asks Carolina to leave her father, but she insists that he needs her.

López 02 de noviembre de 2003 NiÑA AMADA MIA KMEX, Canal 34, Los Angeles, lunes a viernes, 9:00 p.m. Doña Socorro tenía mucha razón cuando dijo a Isabela que tenía los ojos de Servando. Melchor se lo confirma cuando le dice que la madre de Isabela mostraba un embarazo avanzado meses después que murió Servando. Melchor había asistido a casa de los Uriarte a celebrar el triunfo de Pablo cuando doña Socorro lo encontró con la foto del difunto Servando. El le dice que era su mejor amigo, casi su hermano. Fue en ese momento cuando la señora se enteró de la verdad. El sueño de doña Socorro se había hecho realidad y ahora tenía la nieta que tanto había anhelado e inmediatamente se lo contó a Octavio después de decírselo a Isabela. A la muchacha le tomó por sorpresa esa revelación... toda su vida fue enseñada a odiar a los Uriarte y ahora resulta que era una de ellos. Sin embargo tenía que hablar con Clemente para estar completamente segura. Clemente siempre estuvo muy orgulloso de su “obra maestra”, como llamaba a Isabela, y ahora al verla ahí frente a él reclamándole por haberla engañado toda su vida, a pesar de no llevar en la sangre lo Soriano, se portaba como tal. Interiormente Clemente seguía considerándola su hija, pero no quería reconocerlo ante ella ni ante nadie, tenía que mantenerse firme en su pose que Isabela ya no era nadie para él y mucho menos quería verla en su casa. Clemente returns home and tells Paz that he went to get Diana, but for once he wasn't able to do what he pleased and says he admires Diana's strength. Diana goes into labor. Octavio finds out where Diana is and goes to the hospital. Octavio challenges Clemente. Octavio asks Mariagna for a divorce. Diana finds out about the confrontation Clemente and Octavio had. Octavio comes face to face with Edgar. Edgar tells him he's going to marry Diana. Isabela is angry because Victor's divorce has taken longer than expected. Mariagna finds out that Octavio had a child with Diana. Octavio is surprised when he finds out all Mariagna has done. Edgar insists and goes to see Clemente to ask for Diana's hand in marriage. Paz faces off with Karina and tells her that she's dirty and revolting. (heehee) Carolina tells Paz that Pablo wants to end their relationship. Pablo tells Luz that he's ended his relationship with Carolina, Luz can't hide her happiness. Consuelo and Victor with their lawyers talk about the divorce. He loses his patience and tells her to get out of their lives. Consuelo puts Victor's capacity to take care of his daughters in doubt. The judge tells them he'll have to talk to the girls. Carolina offers Rafael money in order to get a divorce. Carolina packs her bags. Julia protests to Clemente about the harm he's doing to Victor though Consuelo. Karina surprises Clemente with Julia. Carolina finds Pablo and Luz playing. Ringo tells Consuelo that everything Karina and Rafael have bought for the company they've declared double it's amount and if it keeps up the company will go bankrupt. Diana tells Clemente that Octavio has the right to see his son.

USA, 11/7/03 - Diana gives birth, doesn’t want to see Edgar or Octavio who is, at that moment, holding the baby in the “baby” unit. Looking in from the hall, Clemente swears that is the last time that Octavio will hold his child. The two men practically get into a fight. Chofe tells Diana and Isabel.

Octavio visits Diana, asks her to call the boy “Octavio”. She tells him “tu sobras” and he, finally, leaves. Edgar arrives and proposes again. Diana says no.

Socorro admits to Mariagna that she has changed her mind about Diana, just wants her son to be happy.

Isabel calls Victor. Consuelo answers, says he is asleep. Isabel doesn’t buy it, although Victor is indeed nappng, demands to talk with him.

Edgar confronts Octavio, says he is going to fight for Diana, can offer her more.

Chofe tells Pax that she is sure sh heard Karina in Rafael’s room the previous night.

Diana tells Isabel that she isn’t interested in either man, simply wants to be alone with her child.

Mariagna hears Socorro and Octavio talking about the baby, learns for the first time that Diana was pregnant with his child.

USA, 11/10-14/03 WEEK 19:

La Opinión, 11/16/03 [resumen de 11/10-14/03] Sólo telenovelas Laura M. López 16 de noviembre de 2003 NIÑA AMADA MIA KMEX, Canal 34, Los Angeles, lunes a viernes, 9:00 p.m. Rafael y Karina son iguales, por eso no tuvieron ningún prejuicio en engañar a Clemente y a Carolina en su misma casa. Chofi, al regresar del hospital después de visitar a Diana y al bebé, escuchó ruidos en la recámara y reconoció las voces de Rafael y Karina. Como siempre, la muchacha no se quedó callada y se lo dice a Paz. Si de por sí ya la mujer no sentía ninguna simpatía por Karina desde que ésta invervino en la relación de Isabela y Víctor, ahora menos que se acostaba con el esposo de Carolina, pero por el momento no podía hacer nada hasta no tener pruebas. Y es que Clemente o estaba ciego o no quería darse cuenta de quién era en realidad su mujer, porque cada vez que alguien trataba de decirle algo acerca de Karina, cambiaba el tema o simplemente ignoraba el comentario. Por otro lado, finalmente Víctor y Consuelo tuvieron la cita con la juez para decidir con quién se quedarían las niñas. Sin embargo, debido a que no lograron ponerse de acuerdo, se programó otra fecha. Julia le dice a Víctor que debió haberla puesto al tanto de lo que pensaba hacer ese día, de darle a Consuelo las cuentas de banco y el título de propiedad del departamento con tal de que lo dejara en paz a él y a sus hijas. Víctor prefería mil veces quedarse sin nada a permitir que Pili y Jimena se fueran a vivir con Consuelo, quien después de varios años de haberlas abandonado ahora peleaba su custodia. La juez les informó que en la próxima reunión, las niñas tenían que estar presentes para hacerles algunas preguntas. Esa misma noche Víctor informa a sus hijas de la cita y que no deben tener miedo... sólo tienen que decir la verdad. Consuelo platica con Trini acerca de que no se dará por vencida hasta lograr recuperar a las niñas y, por supuesto, a Víctor también. Isabela, cansada de la situación y de que Consuelo últimamente interfiere en su vida, quiere poner un punto final a su relación con el veterinario, pero Víctor le ruega que espere un poco más. Mientras tanto, Diana acepta casarse con Edgar sólo para que Octavio no siga insistiendo y le dice a éste que lo mejor que debe hacer es reconsiderar su divorcio de Mariagna, ya que ella lo esperó tantos años. Octavio no ama a Mariagna, sino a Diana, y más ahora que tuvo al bebé en sus brazos y no permitirá que ni Edgar ni Clemente le quiten el derecho que tiene como padre de verlo cuando él quiera. Es tanto el odio que hay entre los dos hombres, al grado que se lían a golpes en el hospital, lo cual molesta mucho a Diana y le dice a su padre que si continúa con esa actitud no regresará a vivir a la casa. Clemente está loco por verse rodeado de nietos y opta por mantenerse tranquilo. Además, le dice a Carolina que lo mejor que debe hacer es olvidarse de Pablo y regresar con Rafael. Carolina vuelve a casa de su padre, mas no porque quiera seguir casada con Rafael, sino porque se decepcionó de Pablo al encontrarlo en su departamento con Luz. En la casa productora, resulta que Consuelo y Ringo descubrieron que Karina y Rafael están estafando a la compañía y se lo comentan a Carolina, quien a su vez habla con Isabela. Para su desgracia o fortuna, Carolina encuentra a su marido y a Karina ¡besándose! mientras comían en un restaurante. Carolina se lo dice a Isabela, quien se para y también los ve. Ella quiere enfrentarlos, pero Carolina le dice que espere hasta tener pruebas.

Here's what I remember happening:

Carolina discovers Pablo and Luz together at the riding school. Luz has just given Pablo a woven bracelet. Carolina is clearly jealous and Luz is in her glory. After Luz leaves, Pablo says that he is ending it with Carolina because she won't resolve her divorce situation. Diana later tells her that she really must get out from under the marriage. Carolina's excuse -- that only she among the daughters is really there still to support her father, who she has forgiven -- is a lousy one.

zulema calls Karina to borrow money to pay her rent. Karina refuses. Zulema next tries Rafael who is only to happy to help. They have dinner and Rafael ends up in bed with Zulema. When he returns to the office, Karina accuses him of both lending money to Zulema and sleeping with her. He denies the latter. Karina goes to visit Zulema and makes the same accusations. Zulema guesses what's going on and says "how stupid of you" to be sleeping with the husband of your husband's daughter.

The divorce proceeds. Consuelo is not happy about the terms but the lawyer is a tiger. Julia and Melchor both are at sea about how to help the situation. When Victor goes to visit Diana, he runs into Clemente who tells him that he has hired Consuelo's lawyer in order to hurt Victor in every way possible, including taking his daughters away as Victor has taken Clemente's daughter away. Victor tries to make peace with Isabela at the hospital, but she's had it. The last scene is at the divorce hearing where Victor brings Consuelo the deeds to everything and his bank account and begs her to get out of his life.

The Edgar/Octavio competition continues. Edgar goes to the house where Clemente accepts him as part of the big family. Octavio persists in visiting and bothering Diana. Diana realizes that her father is capable of even killing Octavio so she begs him to leave Octavio in peace. Clemente agrees (for the moment) but insists that the baby be named Clemente. Diana agrees in order to end the issue and protect Octavio. Mariagna overhears Octavio and Socoro discussing the birth and realizes that Diana has had a child. She says a few things that needed to be said to both and leaves to go live in her own apartment.

Karina comes to the hospital to visit and bumps into Paz and Pasqual in the cafeteria. Paz lets her have it over the fact that clearly she has been entertaining Rafaelito at home. Karina isn't sure what to make of that.

I think those are the highlights. You know how this novela is -- leisurely, yet a few things always happen. Hope I haven't left anything out.

You did a splendid job, except for one little detail, which I am sure will be repeated:

Clemente invites Cesar for a chat, asks him whether he still sees his "friends" who worked over Victor; Cesar says, "No, not really..." to which Clemente responds, "Well, you had better not lose touch with them, we might have something for them again..." the implication being, I think, that despite his promise to Diana, he plans to set Octavio up to be the next victim of a "street assault".

11/14/03 - César almost starts a fight with Victor in front of his daughters and Consuelo. Victor takes the children away.

Socorro tells Octavio that Diana is determined to marry “that” man.

Consuelo calls César who tells her that Victor will pay for what he has done with the children. Trini warns Consuelo not to take César’s advice.

The next day, Julia tries to calm down Victor. Consuelo and her lawyer talk to the judge about her husband’s violent behavior. Consuelo lies. They leave. The children, Ximena and Pili, go in. The judge talks with each separately. Ximena tells her that she doesn’t want her parents to separate, that everything is the fault of her father’s novia. Outside, Consuelo and Victor continue to argue. Victor tells Consuelo he knows much about her that he is too much a gentleman to say. Then he reminds her that when he and the girls went to see her in the U.S. after she had been gone months, he found her with another man. She insists that she and Ernesto were just friends. She tells him he has done the same thing. Then she changes subjects, says that she doesn’t trust Karina, has learned that he and Clemente’s yerno are stealing money. She doesn’t know what to do. Ximena tells the judge that she wants to live with both parents. If she had to choose, she would rather live with her mother than with Victor and Isabel. Then Pili goes in. She says she loves her father muchisimo, doesn’t know her mother too well and she makes her father angry. Afterwards, Ximena hugs her mother, and Pili hugs her father. Then Consuelo takes both girls for something to eat.

At the business, César tells Raffle and Karina he is looking for Cosuelo. Rafael offers him a job.

In the U.S., Jorge gets ? to agree to spend the entire day with him.

Octavio goes to Clemente’s house, to talk to Diana. Clemente tells him not to abuse the honor of being allowed in his house. Octavio says he will visit his son whenever he wants. Octavio tells Diana he doesn’t want her to marry Edgar. She tells him she has decided, and they will probably move to the U.S.

Julia tells Isabel that it appears that the case of the death of Hurtado is going to be closed.

Carolina sees Pablo and Lus arm in arm in the riding ring.

Victor tells Isabel about the apartment, Consuelo, etc.

Julia talks with the judge Orozco who is concerned that Victor lied, never said that he had a novia, further was violent with his wife the night before. Julia defends him, says his wife knows how to “push his buttons”, that his relationship with another woman has nothing to do with his being a good father.

Consuelo tells Carolina they can prove the embezzlement.

Karina eats with Zulema, asks her to take some money out of the country. Zulema agrees, says she has always been on her side, has always helped her. But, she tells Karina that she has never done anything for her. Karina accuses her of trying a cheap blackmail. Zulema reminds Karina of how much she knows. Karina leaves the table, says that she will repent what she knows.

Rafael finds Carolina in Karina’s office looking at some papers. Carolina tells him all she knows about his embezzlement. He threatens her, but she is able to leave the office with the papers.

Isabel visits Diana. her father still refuses to talk to her.

Karina tells Rafael not to worry. She tells him that she can manage Clemente. She tells him not to panic.

Karina calls her “love”, tells him about Zulema and Carolina, says he has to take care of them.

Carolina takes the papers in to her father. He refuses to even look at the papers, says he will do with his money what he wants, won’t let a daughter interfere in his business. He tells her there is no fraud, doesn’t care what the papers say, can do with his money what he wants. She walks out.

Melchor walks in on a half-dressed Pablo kissing Luz on the sofa.

Clemente tells Pascual that his wife and Rafael are stealing from him.

Gloria tells Melchor that Luz left the house and that Pablo knows that she's his sister. Clemente goes into a coma. Julia tells Clemente that he doesn't know how much she admires and cares for him. Victor goes to his house and tells Consuelo to call his daughters. He tells her he wants to speak to them and everyone looks nervous. Luz immediately goes to ask Pablo if what Gloria told her was true since she thinks it's all a lie made up by Gloria. Isabela finishes another one of the interrogatories with Detective Ibarra. Isabela is surprised when she's detained. Gloria and Luz talk and they both ask for each other's forgiveness. La Opinión, 11/30/03. Sólo telenovelas [resumen de 11/24-28/03] Laura M. López 30 de noviembre de 2003 NIÑA AMADA MIA KMEX, Canal 34, Los Angeles, lunes a viernes, 9:00 p.m. Mientras Soriano se recupera lentamente, Karina entra en estado de coma, a pesar de la transfusión de sangre a la que fue sometida. Milagrosamente César tenía el mismo tipo y se ofreció como donante. Tan pronto Clemente abrió sus ojos, lo primero que hizo fue preguntar si ya tenían a algún sospechoso del asesinato de Rafael. Carolina responde que aún no, pero que él no tenía por qué preocuparse. Ya todos habían ido a declarar, pero el comandante decidió llamar por segunda vez a Isabela, quien tenía bastantes motivos para querer matar a Karina. El oficina preferiría que la mujer saliera de coma para que acusara a su atacante. Sin embargo, el comandante, basado en las declaraciones de los demás, llega a la conclusión de que Isabela fue quien disparó sobre Carolina y Rafael, por lo que ordenó su detención. Isabela llama a Víctor para decirle lo que pasó y éste inmediatamente avisa a Julia para que se haga cargo del caso y evitar que la muchacha pase más tiempo en la cárcel. El comandante cree que fue Isabela pero también puede ser que vio quién lo hizo y esté protegiéndolo. El licenciado Landeta, como abogado de Clemente, le dice que hará su trabajo como siempre, pero tiene que ponerlo al tanto de todo lo sucedido, de lo contrario no podrá ayudarlo. Clemente simplemente guarda silencio. César por su parte, en una de las visitas que hace al hospital, le dice a Clemente que ya sus hombres están listos para terminar con el trabajo que le encargó... acabar con Octavio Uriarte. A propósito, entre Diana y Octavio las cosas han mejorado mucho pero no lo suficiente como para que él piense que aceptará por fin casarse, pero por lo menos ya no siente ese rechazo de parte de ella. Carolina en tanto, reconoce la lealtad de Consuelo y no sólo la reintegra a la productora sino la asciende de cargo. Este nombramiento le llega justo a tiempo, ya que el tener ahora a las niñas consigo la responsabiliza más económicamente. No sólo era compartir los gastos de sus hijas con Víctor sino también el pago del departamento, ya que ella se quedó con él y Víctor tuvo que mudarse temporalmente con su amigo Esparza. Gloria, por su parte, finalmente tiene el valor de hablar con su hija y decirle que Melchor es su padre y por lo tanto media hermana de Pablo. Gloria estaba segura de que Luz la odiaría por el resto de su vida y que jamás le perdonaría que le haya ocultado esto. Pero no fue así. Luz se molestó al principio con su madre pero finalmente terminó perdonándola porque la explicación que le dio era muy válida: ninguna mujer tiene por qué aceptar ser víctima de la infidelidad; además, Melchor se había convertido en un alcohólico. Luz se encuentra con Carolina en el hospital y le dice que si pierde a Pablo va a ser por su tonto orgullo, porque él la ama de verdad. Carolina se sorprende al saber que Luz y Pablo son medios hermanos. Por otro lado, Paz no quiere ver a Isabela en la cárcel, por lo que le pide a Pascual que la lleve ante el comandante para entregarse.

Octavio was telling Diana how the office has changed and so has he. He told her that he should now call her boss and she said that even though she was his boss he was going to take control of the project. She called him professor like in the old days and they made up. He then looked in a chest and pulled out something he was going to give her the day she threw him out of the project, and engagement ring.

12/5/03 - The Teniente reconstructs the scene of the crime, has all the family go through what they did the night of the murder. Finally, he talks with Zulema Contreras who repeats that she was in a room putting on her makeup. He points out that the light in the room wasn’t working. She confesses to the murder, says that she did everything that Karina asked her to do but when she asked for money, Karina refused.

Clemente tells Julia that he would have killed Karina if she hadn’t fled. Julia thinks he is joking.

Victor tells Pablo not to be so hard on his mother.

Ximena asks her father about the trip to the U.S. to see her mother. She asks why they left without seeing her. Victor says something about the wrong address or she wasn’t there. Ximena isn’t satisfied.

Paz is released. César tells Karina that Zulema confessed and is probably telling the Teniente everything, which, in fact, she is - including the death of Hurtado.

Carolina tells Pablo that his mother is innocent, will forgive him.

Ximena asks her mother what happened when they came to visit. Consuelo evades the question.

Isabel and her father talk. She tells him it is time to change. He admits that Victor is ok.

Landeta calls Julia and gives her the news.

Diana meets Octavio in his old office, all dusty. They kiss. He gives her a ring. She accepts.

Consuelo tells Trini what happened when Victor and the children came to the U.S. to see her. He found her with another man. Trini tells Consuelo she should tell her daughter the truth; she is bound to learn it one way or another.

TheTeniente visits Clemente who admits he doesn’t know how much Karina stole. The Teniente suggests that Karina must have had an accomplice, somebody who killed Hurtado for her.

In a room, the still recovering Karina reminds César of all she has done for him. He counters with all he has done for her. It turns out that they are medio-hermanos. (Meanwhile, Zulema tells the police that Karina once mentioned having a relative in jail). César was in jail, changed his name when he was freed. Karina paid for his riding lessons, his wedding, the divorce, a home for his child. He blames her for things going wrong. She tells him she wants the money she “worked” for, doesn’t know how much (Rafael was responsible for it), needs his help.

Consuelo sits down with Ximena and starts to tell her the truth.

USA, 12/8-11/03 WEEK 23 (ULTIMA SEMANA):

Pocos o mejor dicho, nadie se imaginó que Paz pudiera ser la persona quien disparó en contra de Rafael y Karina, sin embargo, fue ella quien se entregó por su propia voluntad. Todo parecía tener lógica, Paz ha sido el ama de llaves de toda la vida de la familia Soriano, además se sospechaba que pudiera estar enamorada de Clemente y ahí el porqué de que esa era la mejor oportunidad de quitar de en medio a la mujer que le robó al amor de su vida. Al entregarse Paz, Isabela quedó libre, sin embargo, el comandante aún tenía dudas, porque la declaración de la mujer en alguna parte, no coincidía con la de Zulema, también quería investigar si Karina tenía un cómplice, además de Rafael, tal como lo sugiriera Isabela. Por eso, decidió rehacer los hechos del día del asesinato en casa de los Soriano y llamó a algunos de los invitados que estaban ese día para que representaran su declaración. Uno a uno fueron entrando y saliendo de la recámara sin que el comandante perdiera de vista ningún detalle, basado en la declaración previa. Cuando llegó el turno de Zulema, ella estaba muy nerviosa. Cuando Zulema le dijo al policía que cuando se escucharon los balazos ella estaba en la recámara de al lado retocándose su maquillaje, ahí fue cuando el comandante comprobó que ella era la asesina. La habitación de al lado se había convertido en bodega y tenía días que el foco no funcionaba, lo que contradijo la declaración de Zulema. Esta fue detenida inmediatamente y Paz dejada en libertad. Aparentemente todo había terminado y las cosas volvían a su normalidad, sin embargo, no fue así. Karina se escondió en el departamento de César, quien resultó ser medio hermano de ella. César tenía miedo de que la policía sospechara de él y lo descubriera, por eso quería que Karina se fuera de su casa, pero también le tenía temor porque ella sabía muchas cosas suyas con lo cual lo estaba chantajeando. Karina escondió el dinero del fraude a la productora en casa de los Soriano, lo cual creyó que nunca lo encontrarían y le pide a César que lo saque de ahí para irse muy lejos, pues no quiere ni la muerte ni la cárcel. Demasiado tarde. Chofi encuentra la bolsa del dinero y se lo da a don Clemente, quien en agradecimiento le regala una parte y la envía de vacaciones, lo cual volvió loca de alegría a la muchacha. Cuando César se enteró, se lo dice a Karina quien se pone furiosa y ahora más que nunca tiene que vengarse, sobre todo de Isabela, quien fue la que le hizo la vida más difícil mientras vivió en casa de don Clemente. Don Clemente pensó que era el momento de cambiar y así se lo dijo a su familia, por lo cual aceptó que sus hijas fueran felices con quien quisieran, que él a su vez trataría de conquistar a la licenciada Moreno. Como Víctor se acababa de divorciar, la ley lo obliga a esperar un año antes de volver a casarse, por lo que solamente Clemente decide hacer una reunión en su casa para anunciar el compromiso. Fue ahí cuando Paz se dio cuenta que Clemente nunca sería para él. Pascual se lo dijo pero ella no hizo caso. Para esto, Consuelo decidió regresarle las niñas a Víctor, ya que fue muy difícil para ella que sus hijas volvieran a aceptarla y quererla como madre después de haberlas abandonado y sobre todo cuando Jimena se enteró que Consuelo había sido infiel. Doña Socorro y don Clemente deciden jugarse La Noria en una carrera de caballos, después que don Clemente le explicó cómo fue que sucedieron las cosas realmente con la muerte de Servando y por qué él se quedó con su mujer y la hacienda. César montaría un caballo de Soriano y Víctor lo haría por uno de los Uriarte. En La Noria, al día siguiente todos fueron llegando para presenciar algo insólito, pero que pondría fin a muchos años de odio entre las dos familias. Sin embargo, minutos antes de la carrera, aparece Karina quien trató de matar a Isabela. Tan pronto se escucharon los disparos, todo mundo corrió a ver de dónde venían, y don Clemente alcanzó a ver a Karina quien corría rumbo a las caballerizas. Hasta allá fueron todos pero sólo para encontrase que la mujer halló la muerte bajo las patas de un caballo. El único que estaba cerca era César y trató de explicar que no pudo detener al animal. A todos les extrañó lo del caballo, ya que ese tipo de animal no actúa a menos que sea atacado, pero no se investigó más. La licenciada Moreno trató de localizar al detective para informarle de lo sucedido, sin embargo, el hombre aparece en la hacienda como por arte de magia. Aparentemente todo terminaba ahí, pero no fue así. César fue detenido por complicidad y otros asuntos gracias a las sospechas del licenciado Landeta, quien creyó reconocer a Karina como la mujer que acompañaba a César el día de la fiesta en casa de los Soriano y más tarde escuchar la voz de ella en el departamento de César. Después de esta tragedia, parecía que la carrera estaba descartada y todos estaban por regresar a sus casas, pero don Clemente les pidió que eso lo verían al día siguiente, mientras esa noche intentaran descansar. Al día siguiente todos amanecieron de otro humor y listos para disfrutar la carrera donde se jugaba la hacienda La Noria. Don Clemente le pidió a Pablo que fuera el jinete que montara su caballo y Paz y Carolina se pusieron muy contentas. Las muchachas no sabían cuál sería la reacción de don Clemente si su caballo perdiera y temían que no les permitiera llevar a cabo sus planes de boda entre Carolina y Pablo y Octavio y Diana si así sucediera. La carrera se llevó a cabo y de acuerdo a lo que se vio después al paso del tiempo, tanto los Soriano como los Uriarte ganaron. La hacienda La Noria estaba llena de niños, tal como fuera el sueño de don Clemente. Algunos de sus nietos corriendo por todos lados y otros todavía en brazos de sus orgullosos padres. En la foto familiar aparecían don Clemente y Socorro, uno al lado del otro como si nunca se hubieran odiado, rodeados de hijos, nietos y también de la licenciada Moreno, probablemente como la nueva señora Soriano.

12/11/03 - GRAN FINAL

Landeta goes to César’s apartment, tells him that the woman he was with at a party to which he hadn’t been invited looked like Karina. César tells him he has nothing to do with such a person. Landeta tries to go into the bedroom, but César won’t let him. After Landeta leaves, César starts to drink again. He and Karina argue.

Julia has dinner with Clemente, wants to know why he wants to invest in her law offices. She asks him to stop calling her “mi querida licenciado”. He agrees to call her Julia; she calls him Clemente. She asks a favor - will he go to a soccer game with her and her son.

Clemente, in a wheelchair, greets his guests Doña Socorro and her son Octavio. Diana and her daughter are with Octavio. Julia and her son Nacho arrive. Victor comes alone, but Isabel drives up a moment later. Clemente is surprised that Victor is going to ride, for the Uriartes. Pablo and Carolina arrive. Clemente mentions that he has approved their marriage. Clemente explains to Pascual that they are betting the hacienda on a horse race.

Landeta goes to the house, finds ? getting ready to leave the house for the hacienda.

In the kitchen, Pascual and Paz wonder what will happen.

Alone on a hill, Pablo tells Carolina he never stopped thinking of her. They confess their love for each other and kiss.

In the living room, Clemente asks Jorge if Victor is a good rider. Jorge says yes. Socorro asks Clemente if he is nervous. Clemente says no. When Paz appears, Clemente insists that she and Pascual watch the race. Then César appears. Clemente tells him that he will be racing against Victor Aguirre.

Outside, Diana and Octavio talk about having more children, sharing responsibilities. He tells her that he can’t live without her.

On a highway, César puts Karina in the trunk of his car. César reminds her what she has to do.

By the river, Isabel joins Victor. She asks him if he could tame a wild animal. He says yes, with love. She tells him she loves him. They kiss, say sweet things to each other, kiss again. Then they go swimming nude.

Karina gets out of the car, with a gun, goes to the stables.

In the kitchen, Paz tells Pascual she realizes that she has no life and, now, all her children are leaving. He tells her she can still care for Clemente. She tells him that Clemente will never pay any attention to her. She asks Pascual if she can stay at the hacienda. He says yes, hugs her.

César joins Karina, tells her again what to do. He pushes her into a stall. Clemente wheels up, asks César if he has any objection to his seeing his ex-wife Julia. César says no.

In the living room, everybody waits for Victor and Isabel. They decide to begin eating. Karina limps up to the outside of the house just as they all leave the living room. Victor and Isabel drive up. Paz greets them, with a smile.

Isabel goes to her room. Karina enters and points a gun at her. Isabel tries to calm Karina down, talk sense to her. Isabel tells her the money is in the bank, asks if she wants to kill her. Karina says yes. Isabel asks what she will gain. Karina says the pain of her father, of Victor. Victor walks in. Karina shoots, runs. Clemente sees her running from the house. Isabel is bleeding from the head, where Karina pistol-whipped her, and has a wound but doesn’t want an ambulance. She was just grazed. The men send the women off to help Isabel. Clemente feels helpless because he can’t walk. César finds Karina in the stall with a horse, asks her why she did it, she lost everything. Karina asks him to get her out. César goes into the stall and repeatedly whips the horse who tramples Karina to death. Pablo finds César outside the stall. César lies about what happened, says the horse must have gone crazy.

All the women talk with Isabel in her bedroom. Carolina explains to Socorro that Karina hates Isabel because she, alone, guessed the truth about Karina from the start.

Pascual tells Clemente that Karina is in the stables. Octavio says that she is dead. He goes to look at her, says she ended as she deserved to. César says that he tried to stop the horse but couldn’t. Isabel, Diana and Karina arrive. Clemente says this chapter is over, says to throw her body to the dogs. Clemente leaves. César repeats his story. Isabel and Victor are doubtful.

In the living room, Julia tells Clemente the children are with Socorro. He tells her that Karina is dead. César walks in, says he will leave. There can’t be a race? Clemente says he gave his word. They will all spend the night; the race will be tomorrow. Octavio and Diana walk in, say they will leave. Julia tells Clemente that Octavio is right. He accedes, but asks them to spend the night.

In the stables, Victor sees the marks of the whip. Victor says that instead of calming the horse, César must have made it worse. He thinks it is strange. Isabel can’t think of a reason for César to want to kill her.

In the living room, the Teniente appears with Landeta. Julia is surprised, asks if he got her message. The Teniente says no, he came for another reason. Clemente tells him that Karina is dead. César tries to leave, but a man stops him. The Teniente tells Isabel she was right. Karina had an accomplice: César. He killed Juan Hurtado and the policemen Ochoa and ? . César says it is a lie. The Teniente calls him by his real name, Armando Sanchez, half-brother of Karina. Julia slaps César, asks how he could do this to his son. Clemente can’t believe it, thanks the Teniente. He says it was Landeta who gave him the clue. Landeta explains about his visit to César. Clemente thanks him, says he has learned a great lesson: one should be surrounded by friends and family.

Socorro tells Clemente he has lost his rider. Clemente tells her that he has an ace up his sleeve, a young man worth gold, to ride his horse. He asks Pablo.

Julia talks with her son Nacho, tells him that his father was Karina’s sister, married her under a false name, hurt some people and will be going to jail. . Victor and Isabel talk to his girls. The older one comforts Nacho outside.

The next day dawns and many of the watchers fear for their own happiness, depending on who wins. Socorro starts the race. Victor and Pablo race nose to nose. It appears to be a photo finish.

Next scene: Clemente is walking, playing with two babies in their carriages. Isabel joins him with a child. Carolina has a child in her arms. The whole family is there. Pascual is with Paz. Julia is on Clemente’s arms. They all gather, with tons of children, for a family photo. FIN.
