Summary:

From penniless immigrant to millionaire heiress—Emilia Olivares undergoes this drastic transformation not by an unexpected stroke of luck or fairy-tale magic, but through an evil scheme that traps her in a web of lies and deceit. And so, what was simply a daydream for a humble young woman becomes a nightmare that changes her life forever.

As an illegal immigrant in the United States, Emilia has few options. In order to help support her family, she is forced to work as a maid. However, her situation does not prevent her from dreaming of a better life. Beautiful, sweet and noble in spirit, Emilia one day meets the man who could make her dreams come true: Felipe Reyes.

Intimidated by the fact that Felipe is very rich, and ashamed of her social standing, Emilia does not reveal her true identity, but rather becomes a mystery to the young man. After just a few dates, they fall in love—but she decides to disappear from his life.

Fate will bring them face to face again when Emilia becomes entrapped in a complex lie. Coerced by her greedy mistress, Roberta Lizalde, Emilia assumes the identity of Roberta’s stepdaughter, Andrea, who is confined to bed with a terminal illness. The reason is that Andrea’s father, Roberta’s deceased husband, made his daughter the only heir to a fortune—with the condition that if she should die before her 24th birthday, everything will go to charity. Because Andrea has very little time left to live, Roberta needs someone to take Andrea’s place and give her control of the inheritance, so she wickedly manipulates Emilia into doing it.

Now pretending to be Andrea, Emilia meets Felipe again, and the budding love they once shared rekindles into a raging fire of passion. But reality catches up with Emilia soon enough, as Felipe’s viciously jealous girlfriend, Monica, sets out to uncover her rival’s deception, opening Felipe’s eyes to Emilia’s true identity. From this moment on, Emilia faces a turbulent succession of events that lead her story to a totally unexpected ending.

A FEW EPISODE SUMMARIES & LAST EPISODE

USA, 5/23/05 (FIRST EPISODE) - A bunch of illegals. One man says he has to wait for Estela. Estela’s mother arirves and says that she isn’t going with him. She tells him that her daughter prefers the money of ______ and hands him a letter. Arturo can’t believe it. The mother pays two men and reminds them what to tell his daughter. She, apparently, runs the illegals operation. One of the men says bye to Manolo. A young woman arrives later. It is raining heavily. She calls for Arturo. She sees Manolo who tells her that Arturo left. She says that’s not possible. She’s his novia. He tells her that Arturo has another woman, was cheating on her. Estela is desperate, tries to stop the guy from driving off - but he does. She stands alone in the rain and cries that Arturo has abandoned her. She goes down on her knees.

20 years later. Miami. Emilia is rollerskating by the beach. Andrea isn’t well. A big house. A woman screams. Another woman, middle-aged, screams about the new wrinkle she sees. Her daughter mentions that her stepsister Andrea is screaming. Andrea has six months to live - way too much. Roberta reminds her daughter that her beauty is what has supported them. But they have spent all the money left by Enrico and inherited by Andrea. Mauricio, her son, is looking for a millionaire to marry. Michelle’s mother tells her to find a rich man. She says she will try. They don’t even have enough money to pay the servant Emilia who, at that moment, is giving medicine to Andrea who wonders why God won’t take pity on her and let her die. Emilia tells her that she will get better. Emi gives her her medicine and assures her that there are miracles. Andrea tells Emi that when she dies, she will be with her father. She is sorry only that she will be leaving Emi, wishes that they had met before. Emi assures Andrea that she will get better. Andrea admits that she is also sorry she has never been in loe, asks Emi if she has been in love. Emi says no.

Two guys talk on the beach. Felipe is dating Mónica but admits that he isn’t really in love with her. He wants a woman as pretty as Mónica but nicer. Felipe is sure the woman he wants exists. Felipe tells his friend that he has known Mónica all his life. Just then, Mónica is looking at herself in a mirror and screaming for her mother. The stupid maid put a silk dress in the washing machine. Mónica wants her mother to fire the girl. her mother tries to calm her down, says that it was a simple mistake, that the servants, too, are people. She has to get her hair done, wants to look great for Felipe. Her mother warns her that Felipe may one day get tired of her moods. She says that’s impossible. She’s beautiful and rich; what more could he want.

Emi tells Andrea that her man must be ? and handsome would be nice, too. Andrea describes the man of her dreams. Emi imitates, badly, Michele. Andrea tells Emi she wishes that she had been her sister. Andrea asks Emi to give her the book on the table. Andrea opens it, takes out some money and gives it to Emi - says that Roberta left it on the table and probably forgot it. Emi accepts the money reluctantly.

Estela’s mother arrives in a cab - for which they don’t really have the money to pay. But Estela pays it. Inside the house, her mother yells at Estela. who reminds her that Emilia has enough trouble paying the bills of the house. Estela’s mother tells her to work, but it turns out that every time Estela gets a job, she gets fired because her mother needs her to take care of her. Estela’s mother blames her for having given birth to a bastard, the child of the good-for-nothing Arturo who abandoned her.

Arturo, of course, is at that moment in the den of a very expensive house looking at a picture of Estela and asking why she left him. Then he looks at a picture of Olivia, the mother of the daughter he loves, and reminds himself that she has been good to him. Just then he walks out of his den and greets his daughter and wife. After

Jonas tells a woman that it is a shame that the inheritance went to ? and as long as she doesn’t appear, he can manage the stock.

Felipe, on the beach, tells his friend that it bothers him that Jonas hasn’t given him and Lili the inheritance that is his. He knows that his uncle Jonas is bad.

Jonas tells his woman that Felipe can’t get the better of him, but she reminds him that the father of Felipe’s novia Mónica is rich and could help him.

Olivia remarks to Arturo that he always feels sad whenever he comes back from México. He denies it, but she tells him that she is always afraid that the woman will appear again and he will leave her. He assures her that he loves her. She says that she knows that, but “querer” is one thing; “amar” is another.

Estela asks her mother why she is always putting her down. Her mother says it is because she refused to marry a rich man.

In the kitchen of Roberta’s house, Roberta sees the money in Emi’s waistband and calls her a thief, threatens to call the police. Emi begs her not to or they will deport her. Emi tells Roberta that she found the money behind a dresser and was going to give it to her; she can ask Andrea. Roberta tells Emi that if she could enter the country illegally, no doubt she was in trouble with the police in México. Emi says that being poor isn’t the same as being a criminal. She begs. Soni takes the phone. Emi talks about her sick abuela, tells Roberta that she will do whatever she wants. Roberta says that she will have to work the next two weeks without pay. Emi has no choice. Roberta walks into the living room and laughs.

Andrea asks Emi what happened, says that it isn’t fair. Andrea admits that Roberta never left her, sent her to school after her father died. But when she got sick, Roberta had to take her home. The only person who cared for her in Switzerland was Dr. Sabaleta. Here, only Emi. Andrea prays that if she has only 6 mos., let it be without pain. Andrea asks Emi to do her a favor, something to do with the sea. Michele and Roberta enter the room and reprimand Emi for wasting time.

Emi leaves the house. Roberta and her daughter sit in the living room and complain about Emi. Roberta assures her daughter that having an illegal in the house is a good deal.

Felipe and Luis, on the beach, continue to talk about Mónica. Felipe asks Luis not to say a word about what they have been saying.

By the pool, Jonas continues to talk to his woman who reminds him that the hotel stock belongs to his sobrinos not to him. He reminds her that he has been managing them for years and should, by right, be his. She suggests sending Felipe abroad to study. He says he can’t because his novia is here, and her father wouldn’t let her go abroad. She suggests that if the two marry, he could go into business with Arturo. Jonas says no, that Arturo doesn’t trust him.

Felipe reminds Luis that today he comes into his inheritance - and Jonas must hand over the stock, like it or not.

When Mauricio comes home, his mother asks if he has found a millionaire. He asks her why she doesn’t. She reminds him that if she marries another millionaire, it could raise suspicions - even after 10 years. It appears that the police were after her for something. She suggests that Mauricio look for an old rich woman. Mauricio says that would still take some time. And they need money now.

Two guys, Bobby and ?, talk about a girl by the pool.

Mónica preens in front of the mirror in the beauty salon She tells Jazmin that Felipe will just have to wait, can’t do anything without her.

Felipe and Luis, dressed up a bit, walk along a dock as Felipe waits for Mónica. Luis hopes that he will find the right girl soon. Felipe walks on alone and, of course, bumps into Emi. Love at first sight.

The show began with Felipe asking Monica to tell Emila the truth about their relationship, which was they are broken up. Monica told Felipe that she will tell the truth to Emila thinking that would earn her points with Felipe. That same night Felipe and his sister Lili went to the hospital to visit a friend who got in a accident. In a rush to get to the friend's room Felipe bumped into Emila's friend Pepe; I guess the writers were trying to show the rivals first encounter, they both apologized and went on their way. Emila was in the room with her friend Andrea explaining everything that has happen in her absences. Emila was sadden when she realized Andrea have little time to live; she exited the room, immediately huged Pepe and Felipe saw them. Felipe thought that Pepe was Emila's boyfriend and thats way she didn't want to tell him her name. The preview for Tuesday's episode showed Felipe seeing Emila and Pepe hugging because of Felipe jealousy he decide to tell Emila that he was only using her, that he is marrying Monica. The things that I left out had no significance, I'm sure you only wanted to know the situtation between Emila and Felipe.

In case anyone's still watching, but missed this episode:

Andrea, in her creepy bed-ridden-bride getup, tells Matilde that SHE should get her fortune when she dies. Mati says that Jeremias (the lawyer that died in the hospital a while back) was going to do something about the inheritance. (It's vague, & we still don't know the state of the will)

Emi arrives for the wedding & Andi tells her she should stay with Feli--that she wouldn't be taking away the child's father. Then Luis & Feli arrive. Andi extracts deathbed promises from everybody--Matilde: not to cry after her death (fat chance, we've hardly ever seen her NOT crying, from day one, in jail) Feli & Emi: to get married & be happy--Feli promises happily & Emi finesses her answer; and for them to throw her ashes in the sea.

A fat, almost jolly judge appears & quickly performs the ceremony. They are married. They kiss, a long, lingering but not passionate kiss. Andi hears her father calling/greeting her, and dies, smiling. Mati, wailing at top volume, throws herself on Andi's body (so much for that promise) Later, she dries her tears & swears, with that mad-woman gleam in her eye, that she'll get her revenge on Roberta.

Unaware of Andi's death Rob & Jonas plot & argue about how to get Andi's fortune--each suspicious of the other.

Emi confronts Dr. Z, telling him he's guilty of Andi's death. He passes the buck to Rob.

Oli & Art commiserate about Moni, saying she's beyond reason about wanting to marry Feli, when he doesn't love her. (They even consider going on their trip & taking her with them--wouldn't that be fun)

Meanwhile, Moni tells Jaz it's time to get back at her dad for letting Feli off the hook. She'll blackmail him into submission with those pics of him and his lover.

Feli goes home--tells Lili about Andi's death--and the wedding, not specifying for a while who the bride was. Lili is amazed when she realizes it was Andi.

Lucy & Pepe are at Emi's house consoling her. Pepe suggests they give the police an anonymous call to ask for an autopsy for Andrea. Later, at the hosp, a doctor tells Dr Z there will be an autopsy, he looks worried.

Rob, in a black wig, still unaware of Andi's death, is at home, cackling & gloating as she prepares a vial of poison for Andi. Dr. Z shows up, says Andi's dead. Rob laughs gleefully, till Dr. Z says he's going to tell the police everything. Rob tries to buy him off (once again) but he stands firm. She snatches a handy objet d'art & beans him. He falls to the floor--

dead? Tune in tomorrow...

Well it's been 7 or 8 months since emilia's disappearing and she's about to have the baby. Well monica is changing her stomick for every month to show that she's pregnant. And roberta and jonas are planing everything.And Jonas's girlfriend is with radergo the one with the glasses.

And every one think emilia is deid cuz roberta got her cloths and put them some where and the police fond them so they think that she's died.

And nothing happed about the note.

so, how long are they gonna half-assedly stand around and hug one another and say that emilia is alive? they don’t even seem excited. LOL.

and now those two idiots are going to start fighting over emilia? felipe is such a fool. he let whomever force him into marrying pufferfish lips with the almohada up her shirt, so now he’s gotta live with it.

those two monkeys don’t have any rights, emilia’s MOM has the right to go see her kid. i expect the two of them to start rolling around in the waiting room while the parents are off in the other room.

gee. that kid looks a bit BIG for a newborn TWO MONTHS PREMATURE baby only a couple hours (if that) old. i guess jazmin knew pufferfish lips wasn’t really pregnant, then?

already pufferfish lips is hating that screaming noise kids make. and lookit the face roberta made!!! LOL. yeah, they stink, don’t they?

arturo shoulda said, “at this point in time, my place is with estela since OUR daughter has been missing and presumed dead.” olivia knows about it and felipe of ALL people has no right to see emilia. he’s the lowest priority.

jaysus, felipe has become about as appealing as WORTHLESS, SPINELESS MAMA’S BOY. and about as brainless and foolish and pathetic.

well...roberta has offered renata to live in her house now that michelle has moved back in. roberta sez it's lonely without mau. but roberta still hates bobby aad thinks he's just after the money. she's being nice to his face.

ricardo and his incredibly whacked out brother are planning something, but i'm not sure what. i think they wanna kill someone.

ernesto is making a pest of himsleg by finding out too much. and suspecting too much.

botoxica has gone insane and was in the hospital for a day or two and now felipe is telling her he's gonna forget emilia and blah blah blah.

ricardo was being a lawyer yesterday and something happened to piss him off. i missed alot of yesterday's, so i dunno why he got mad. then some judge let botoxica leave the country when she's suspected of killing ...erm...emilia's mom. forgot her name already. LOL. so castula's in the hallway and when she hears what the judge did, she busts into the room and slaps him a good one and really tells him off, but then she sez something which i din't catch and he seems to be listening to her about what happened to her daughter.

She visits her in jail and tells that she’s not staying long because Roberta stinks and tells her that for every year in jail it will be like ten! Then pulls out a mirror and shows her how awful she looks; Roberta screams and yells NO! NO! NO! Giving a pretty good performance but not enough to save this novela.

Olivia & Artura didn’t take it too bad; I guess in way they were relieve to be rid of that bad seed. But thanks to Carmela they’re going to hear the sounds of pitter-patter, their maid is pregnant! Lucky for her hubby is the one getting the morning/day sickness…

Little psycho grabs the pillow and starts to suffocate him. (I thought, riv is wrong Ariel gave the go ahead and kill me in this stupid novella to save my @ss). But he lets jonASS come up for air; little psycho goes into a tirade ‘ that was just a demonstration and proof that I am your son but I’m not a killer like you! He walks away leaving a stunned jonASS.

Felipe accepts it says true that there’s an age difference but it’s not that great; ‘only promise that you will not marry until Lili is 21!’ Lili says ‘I only have to wait 3years and one month’ who’s counting?

Rodrigo & Renata talk about their double wedding with Bobby & Michele to save money. Michele tells Bobby that her mother got exactly what she deserved.

The wedding takes place on the beach in a tent. Capsula is complaining who’s idea was it to have the wedding here as she holds Emilias train because she’s getting sand in her shoes, yak yak!

Producers took the short wedding version very disappointing after all the suffering Emilia went through she deserved a nicer service! Em gives a little spill about Sonar No Cuesta Nada but in real life it does; I’LL SECOND THAT! The last scene Felipe and Emilia are toasting champagne and with the ocean as a backdrop they kiss…. POR FIN!!!!!

So all's well that ends well and peace is restored at the Deauville. Everybody's in love and snuggling and talking about getting married. Bobby and Michelle, Renata and Clark Kent, Ernesto and Lucy, Luis and Lili, although the latter pair is told to wait until Lili is 21 before they get engaged. Which I guess is only a few months away, but that means no nookie apparently because Filipe says, this will be a good test for Luis, wink, wink.

Poor crazy obsessed Monica, you knew things were not going to work out for her, but I can't believe she went flying off the side of the boat to land in a fiery inferno. With her poor parents watching and all. And why is it that Roberta is obsessed herself with Arturo? She was screaming, maldito Arturo! I'm going to kill your daughter and grand daughter!

So now she's in prison and looking at her crucifix going 'why why' with big alligator tears. With no make up and no fake hair, she really looks like hell. So of course Matilde has to come and rub her face in it, and give her a gift of a mirror, so she can see how bad she looks. Lots of screaming and carrying on, and I actually start to feel bad for the old girl. I think she is loosing her marbles.

Little crazy Javier goes to visit his father who is still in the hospital to show him see, I am too your son, I had a test done and here are the results. JonAss says to him, I don't care about modern science, you'll never be my son because you're a coward and never do anything right. Which provokes little loco to grab a pillow, and with a high pitched shriek of rage, starts smothering JonAss. But he stops just short of killing him, because he says, he is not an assassin, unlike YOU, dad. And so he walks out, poor loveless Javier. I think he will be a good candidate for a bad guy in some future soap, because you see, all he wanted was love and nobody (except his dead brother) ever gave it to him.

So Emilia is reunited with giganto baby and getting ready for her second wedding in as many days. And she's finally smiling instead of crying, which she has been doing for months. And so the end is their wedding and its outside at the water front, grand ma complaining the whole time about the weather and getting dirt in her shoes, etc. shut up you old bag. The guy who married them was scary to look at! Like one of those dolls they make with the shrunken apple for a head. Emilia has a big poofy dress on, and its nice and all, but I have to say, Monica was prettier in her dress. Lucy is wearing some blue thing that makes her look pregnant, awful. Hey Arturo gave Em away, but I don't remember seeing Olivia there. Why not? Hey sorry about the infidelity thing with my mom, and the death of your daughter and the loss of your grand child, but well, can't by gones be by gones?

But the best groaner of all was what Emilia said at the end, about how you know, sonar no questa nada and that's not really true, but it was all worth it. Blech!

Now what will I do without the world's cheesiest soap to make snarky comments about!

the final episode starts with everyone jumping in cars and the struggle between ricardo, ernesto, felipe, et al. ricardo runs away, turns and shoots ernesto; luckily, ‘tis but a flesh wound. felipe chases after ricardo down to the beach. ricardo shoots at him, misses, and turns to run, but felipe catches him and sits on him and starts punching him. ricardo gets the gun and the two try to get control of it, the gun pointing right at felipe’s face. ernesto runs up, takes aim and, from about 50 feet, gets ricardo in the temple. orlando fundichely made a very nice dead person. felipe thanks ernesto, as well he should.

cars are racing along, chasing after botoxica, roberta and THAT HUMONGOUS KID, who is crying, and rightly so. emilia exhorts the policeman driving the car she’s in to hurry up.

arturo goes to see matilde in jail. he tells her a lawyer and someone whose name i din’t catch say they can get her out(?) arturo seems to be telling her she’s more a victim of roberta than anything. she tells arturo about roberta killing her husband and andrea. he tells her that her testimony can make the bad people pay.

back at the beach, ernesto calls for backup. luis, lili and her two little friends show up. felipe and ernesto leave with two cop cars following.

botoxica takes THAT HUMONGOUS KID and she and roberta get on a boat. roberta looks so funny running behind with the gun, turning from side-to-side like she’s part of a SWAT team.

emilia and all those cops show up and they’re doing the real SWAT thing, then here comes felipe and ernesto and their entourage. they all start running towards the boat containing botoxica and roberta and THAT HUMONGOUS KID. so now the boat is surrounded. ernesto’s arm is really bleeding. they’re standing on the dock right outside the boat, trying to figger out what to do.

ernesto’s boss comes to matilde’s cell. he asks arturo to leave, saying he needs to talk to matilde.

roberta is shouting out orders to give her money and an escape vehicle in return for THAT HUMONGOUS KID. felipe tries to talk to botoxica but roberta tells him he can’t and she doesn’t care about botoxica and she’s only interested in saving herself.

matilde is telling ernesto’s boss about roberta killing people. “she destroyed my family, now she wants to destroy me.” he seems to be sympathetic towards her. maybe he needs a girlfriend. now she tells that roberta poisoned her own son because he drank the coffee meant for matilde.

luis fills arturo in on what his lovely daughter is up to. he tells about the baby being emilia’s and about roberta’s involvement. of course, dummy arturo sez he doesn’t believe it. olivia keeps bugging him to tell her what’s going on. he looks at her with a shocked look on his face. it’s finally sinking in, what a booger his daughter is.

felipe tells roberta he accepts the conditions of the trade. emilia tries to run on to the boat, felipe tries to stop her, she goes anyway.

matilde continues telling ernesto’s boss of how roberta made emilia pretend she was andrea. he’s buying it all, but only ‘cuz today is the last day.

felipe goes aboard the boat, sneaking, but if them two dumb bimbos aren’t looking out the window and can’t see him, they must be changing THAT HUMONGOUS KID’s diaper or something.

castula shows up at javier’s. he tells her to get out and she calls him baboso. two cops are right behind her with a search warrant. he tells them his brother won’t like it. they tell him his brother is dead and jonASS is in bad shape in the hospital. javier starts crying. castula din’t know about ricardo, either.

arturo and olivia show up at the dock and tell the cops who they are. the cops let them pass. do those two think that their ungrateful, snob of a daughter will listen to them NOW when she’s never listened to them in her entire miserable life??? they are sadly mistaken.

now felipe and ernesto are on the boat. emilia is being held by roberta, but she sees felipe, who holds his finger up to his lips. roberta starts yelling at arturo how she’s gonna kill emilia and THAT HUMONGOUS KID. why is roberta so mad at arturo?

botoxica and emilia start shoving one another around. ernesto tries to get a bead on botoxica. roberta, while carrying THAT HUMONGOUS KID, which seems to really be a doll, dumps a buncha gasoline in the water and fires a flare into it. crazy broad. felipe jumps up and gets botoxica. by now, the water and a boat catch on fire. botoxica starts pushing roberta, who gives her a shove and botoxica supposédly falls into the burning boat and dies, but that boat looked like it was about 20 feet away.

so the boat is burning and this really thick, black smoke is billowing up...must be all that silicone botoxica has pumped into her. or that grease she smears on her chest.

ahhh...they despuesed us!!! anyway, “tiempo despues”.

arturo is trying to comfort olivia about botoxica. after all, she was a rotten daughter. wow, those paintings on the wall are really odd. olivia and nana are sad. nana sez nothing will be the same. obviously.

carmela is pregnant. i guess that’s as good as your real daughter being pregnant to olivia and nana.

renata and rodrigo. i seriously thought they would give him a makeover. but it’s kinda cool that they left him nerdy. he really should trim his hair, though.

javier goes to see his dear ol’ da’. why exactly is he still in the hospital? what were his injuries??? hmmm...he has his arm in a sling...don’t hafta be in the hospital for that...anyway, jonASS tells javier to get out. javier shows him the DNA test that proves they’re related. jonASS doesn’t believe it and is mean to javier, calling him weak and a coward. javier makes this great monkey shriek kinda noise and grabs a pillow and starts to smother jonASS, but stops (since, like i have always speculated, ariel lopez padilla has something in his contracts that says he can’t be killed) and tells jonASS what a jerk he is and how he isn’t like his father. jonASS gets a wigged out look on his face and javier leaves.

oh dear...roberta in jail...she has a pic of herself on the wall. how will she live without her...what was it? face creams and liposuction treatments?

matilde walks in and she looks really pretty. she’s whistling and psssssting and roberta turns around and it looks like someone’s been rubbin’ brillo pads on roberta’s cheeks. matilde is really hamming it up about how the place stinks and tells roberta that felipe and emilia are getting married. roberta is mad that the servant is marrying someone rich, but emilia is rich in her own right, so that’s kinda...dumb. matilde sez roberta will never get out of jail. dang, roberta looks just awful as bluesky sez. she starts yelling for the guard. matilde sez she’s got a present for roberta and beckons her closer...then whips a mirror out and holds it up and roberta really freaks out and won’t look. matilde leaves. roberta cries that she doesn’t want god to let her get old. so i guess she’s gone crazy, ‘cuz she picks up the mirror and looks at herself and starts to scream.

lili is surprised to find out that felipe knows about her and luis, sittin’ in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G. luis and lili start to kiss and felipe waggles his finger at them so they stop.

emilia is all happy to have THAT HUMONGOUS KID back. emilia picks up a pic of her mom and talks to it.

ernesto tells lucy he has a mission, the most important mission in life, and it’s to get married to her.

and then there’s the wedding. everyone’s very colour coordinated. lili looks like she has a gigantic silk handkerchief on. everyone’s looking at their watch and finally here comes emilia. looks like she walked from the public restroom or something. everyone’s grinning all goofy. and yes, the padre looks like an apple-headed old man doll. i used to make those when i was a kid. no build up...just the apple headed old man saying they were husband and wife and they kiss. then it shows the happy couple drinking champagne...they drink...then felipe throws his glass out on the lawn...where it just bounces and doesn’t break. he looks at emilia and she throws her glass too...and it also bounces. kinda funny way to end it.
